Later, having written several children’s stories which ‘nearly’ got published, a friend suggested that I write about something that came from my own experience. Walter Speazlebud is that story. But apart from being about spelling backwards and school, this story is also about the gift of having people: family, friends, teachers (yes, there are many GREAT teachers out there), who can encourage you and inspire you to follow your dreams and, most importantly, to use your Noitanigami.
I’ve done quite a few different things in my life, but writing this story has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I’ve ever done. I hope you have enjoyed it, and if you ever have any big words you need spelt backwards, I’m your man …
