STORM SLAVE: THE STORM PLANET SERIES: VOLUME THREE Page 10

by M. Garnet

Had she not answered the call about a space ship over the water bottling plant, she would have made her parents very proud. Instead, knowing that the report had to be some type of joke, she and her partner went out to the bottling plant.

Now she sat in this room, knowing no one back on Earth would believe her story. One thing she brought with her from her old planet was her ability to be a good cop. Almost everyone she was talking to was lying.

So, in the old police stations on Earth, you took the scum to the interrogation room and you let them think you were not smart. You pretended to believe what they said, until they ran down. Finally you showed them what you had that would send them to the lock-up.

Without anyone taking control, the emissaries and the screen contacts were talking over each other. What she was looking for was the ones who were not arguing or talking. There were only two.

Without being obvious, she let her eyes examine the screens with the two silent males. There was the difference between day and night of the two individuals. Both were males and both were the complete head of their worlds. Both worlds were also over several other worlds that were dependent on them. There the differences started.

One floating screen held the view of a male who looked like he had no age. He could have been thirty seasons to three hundred seasons. His face had no wrinkles. It was a pale color, as if he never exposed himself to sunlight. He wore a white outfit that covered him from head to below what she could see on the screen.

This was the Senior Omega Priest, the male who was the anointed leader of a very prejudiced religion. They were notorious for not being open minded and they didn’t trade often. They would protect their own territory with weapons and aggression that meant death to the trespassers. On the other hand, if you approached them with hands open, they bored you to almost death, as they tried to convert you.

Over several screens and higher in the air was the other male that had not spoken. There were a lot of differences. This male was known as Arb. No special title, no special address added to his name, just Arb. But Arb was the uncontested head of his world and any world that he could conquer. The story went that he had accepted the willing surrender of several worlds close to his homeland.

On a break she read that he had many, many wives, but if any of them gave birth to a male child, he had them killed. It seems he didn’t want the mother around to make the male child soft.

In her mind, these two leaders were both evil and if they backed off this time, there would be a future war. It might be a hundred or a thousand years in the future, but there would be a war with one or both.

Loralei nodded to Dee. He looked at her as she rose and then flattening her hand. It was a signal they had agreed upon. With it a loud horn sounded and there was suddenly silence among all the speakers.

Loralei looked at Arb directly, although she was speaking to everyone. “Advisor, give safe exits to all emissaries. This meeting is over. Here is the fact. GigasVnee does not need the outside as we have the power and ability to exist on our own.”

She looked around at those in the room and back at the screens, again looking at the evil eyes of Arb. “We have proven we have the ability to protect ourselves from invasion. Don’t force us to attack beyond our borders, but think about it, as you digest my words at this time.”

She looked down at her Advisor who nodded agreement.

“If and when all aggressors have withdrawn from this solar area that we protect, we will begin trade, including providing one third less of the Threads than we have in the past.”

Now she stood to say her final words. “If there isn’t agreement to my terms, we will assume that no one outside our systems have any more needs of the Threads.”

With that she left the room. The screens had been shut down and the Elite Guard had stepped in behind her to prevent any of the emissaries from following her. She could hear their voices as she moved down the hallway.

Loralei knew she needed a meeting with her son.

“Can someone get a message to my son to tell him I am in an urgent need his help.”

Loralei had taken a long soaking bath, changed clothes and ate a leisurely meal. She was sitting on one end of a comfortable couch in the Royal Apartment, letting Tet bring her some small dessert cookies along with hot real coffee. Someone had found coffee beans that had slipped past all the different barriers and were brought to this storm planet from Earth. All of it was illegal.

At last Tet approached her, bowing to announce that her son was here.

Sitting her cup down, Loralei turned her upper body to watch her son come across the large room. She sucked in her breath as she realized several things. He was full grown, now a male yet a male so different from those around her.

He was so beautiful in a fully masculine way. He was tall, probably six foot nine inches measured by Earth rulers. He was built like a swimmer, slim with a wide chest and long arms along with extremely long legs. Why would she be surprised that her son, born of two twins whose family went back to the beginning of time on this storm planet covered mostly by oceans, looked like he was part of it?

Quilliam had eyes the color of his fathers, the two twins that she loved. Eyes that changed constantly from Green gems to harsh Gold. To add to the strange picture, he had her hair. It was thick, reddish brown in color that he wore long and in one or sometimes two braids.

He moved like the waves below on the ocean, hardly touching the deep smooth carpeting. Quilliam might be the son of a female born on a world so far away, but he was one hundred percent of the storm world. There was not a wind or rainstorm that would affect him, except to give him strength.

He walked around the back of the couch and leaned over to kiss her head.

“Come and sit with me, my son.” She shifted and was pleased when Tet came out with a tray full of fruit and cheese. “Eat something and let’s talk.”

She was grateful when her son stepped over the back of the couch and sprawled out, like she remembered he use to do as a kid. He sat a couple of small balls on the low table and started stuffing his mouth. As a mother, she wondered when the last time he had actually eaten.

“So Mother mine, how is the negotiations going. Are the off-worlders talking or just spouting and threatening?” Quill took some of the wine Tet place near him.

The small girl was so in awe of the Heir that she wouldn’t look up at him.

Loralei brought up her cup of coffee, getting more pleasure from the smell than from the taste.

“Quilliam, it isn’t about the talk. I am in there to learn about the beings that are trying to gain something from us.”

The flexible young male easily rolled around to place his feet on the floor. He now faced the low table and began to eat in earnest. Tet came out swiftly with a plate of cut sandwiches. Loralei decided that Tet probably had the same thought about the male not eating enough. Tet was more than willing to bring out plate after plate of treats to this special person. On her quiet bare feet Tet just made trips back and forth to place plates of meat, cheeses and finally desserts.

Hating to interfere with his resting and her enjoyment of his rare company, she still had to share with him her concern.

“Quilliam, as I said, it is not all the talking. For me and my experience, sometimes it is what is not said that makes more of an impact, more of a threat.”

Long male fingers closed around a dark piece of dessert as Quill slid back away from the food to chew and look at his mother. He let the silence stay in the room while he finished the rich sweet treat.

He looked at her during this silence then spoke. “I had no doubts you would be so much better in that room than anyone else, including me. Tell me what you learned?”

Loralei sighed. “Other than the fact that I may have gotten us into a never ending war? Well, there were only five affiliated World Governments involved in the attack. There are a couple of others that are already turning tail and running. But here is the real problem. There are two that aren’t goin
g to go away, no matter what we do. Someday, rather we find a way out of this situation or not, there will be a war with one or both of these governments.”

Tet came in to clean away the low table.

Quill waved a hand and the tiny loyal female. “Take care, sweet one and don’t come near those two balls. They will hurt you.”

True to his instructions, the little female carefully cleared around the green balls, taking everything away, but the wine and the carafe of coffee.

Quill got up and walked to the window. It was hard to see anything, as the heavy storm blew against even the force field. With his back to his mother he finally asked the important question.

“Who are the two that we will have to confront in order to have peace in this part of the universe?”

She looked at her son’s back. “One is religious and hard to deal with do to his feelings. He is Senior Omega Priest.”

“This bigoted religious group is no longer content on slowly converting. They now want to go out and conquer. With unlimited power they would have that ability. Interesting.” Quill spoke as he thought, believing his mother. “Who is the other?”

He heard it in her voice as she sat her cup down to finish speaking. “Someone I think is worse. The Priest had sent an emissary as well as speaking by screen, but Arb spoke only for himself long distance. Actually he spoke very little. This male is evil.”

Quill turned and came back to the table. He stood for a long moment before he reached down and picked up the two green metal balls. He looked at them closely. One, the first was a comfortable size to fit into his palm. He could close his long fingers entirely around it. The next one was smaller, a beautiful green marble, carved with scrollwork.

  Chapter Fifteen

  War elsewhere….

Quill turned and moved to sit on the low table facing his beloved mother.

With the two small balls in one hand, he watched her as he spoke. “We have some serious sad decisions to make. How many of our people have died so far in this war that was not of our choosing?”

Loralei looked up with a frown. “A very serious question. Okay, we have lost hundreds of thousands. There were a hundred thousand souls on the Research Satellite Two that belonged to Leant. Not all of them were even of our world, but they were all killed.”

She sighed and rubbed a hand over her eyes. “We had ships out with the Affiliated Federation and those that did not hide, got blown away. This does not even count the lives we lost during the first bombings. There were farmers and developers up top. There were other sea farmers out on the waters. These were all just about destroyed before we got up some protection.”

Laying her head back against the cushion of the couch, she fought her tears. “I have no idea how many we lost, but I don’t want to lose one more of our people if we can prevent it.”

Quill looked down at the two balls his fathers had given him. One was the size young could toss back and forth, the other small enough to roll into the barrel of old fashioned weapons. “Would you surrender to the Senior Omega Priest and his demands?”

Sitting upright, Loralei shook her head no. “The beings that this storm world has developed are bred with an innate freedom. There is only the fact that my position caused your fathers to form a union that allowed me to remain as a slave. I am a slave with more freedom than any person on this world. To surrender to the bigoted dictates of that greedy male would be the same as murdering our people.”

Quill nodded in agreement, as he pulled the small metal ball out and played with it in his other hand. “Tell me about your thoughts of surrendering to Arb and his warrior planet?”

She reached out to her son. “How long would you live in chains, my strong son? He is so evil. He saw me as a tool, not as a Queen or anything to negotiate with or even talk to. It means he sees this planet as a tool, a place to force those who live here to work and provide him the power to take over this end of the universe. But one would wonder what he would go after, when he had conquered everything?”

Listening to his mother talk with such feeling, yet also such intelligence. He believed her completely. Even if they reached some type of truce with these different governments at this time, there was a deeper, uglier war in the near future.

His fathers knew this. He moved the two balls back and forth and then decided he needed to make his own decision. His decision was to send a couple of gifts. He just had to find the right type of gift-wrapping.

“Mother mine, did you say that the Senior Omega Priest also had a couple of his own priests present for the negotiations?”

She nodded. “Yes, I assured everyone that they would have safe passage off our world.”

Quill got up and started to walk to the door. “I love you dear and I must hurry off now. Call Advisor Dee and ask him to delay the transport for the priests, as you have a peace gift for the Senior Omega Priest. I will see that the gift gets to the priests. Call the Commander and enquire after his female. She was injured after being attacked by the killer who is loose in our city cavern. Tell him I need the statue his female hit the killer with. Tet can retrieve it and deliver it to the landing bay. Tell Tet to find some really fine Royal wrappings.”

With these last words he was out the door.

Loralei was on her feet. Wait, why would she send a gift to that ugly priest? When did the Commander have a female? What killer and who had let him into our city? She called for the little female who was standing by the door, holding out a military com unit.

“Mistress, I have the Advisor for you.”

  ****

Quill sat on the narrow beam, watching the female he wanted. He sifted to let his enlarged cock find a better position in his tight pants. He felt the silent approach of a black ghost that he knew was the Assassin.

The white haired male, covered in a black cloak, spoke so low no one else would hear.

“You act like a youth with his first dreams of release. Why are you not down there taking what you want? You are the Heir after all, or have you forgotten that you own this world?”

Quill smiled into the darkness. “I wonder how many of my soldiers it is going to take to kill an Assassin?”

There was a soft chuckle from the Assassin. “You don’t have enough soldiers. I ask again, why aren’t you down there with her? What are you up to, Royal Prince?”

Quill shifted again, not even the voice of the Assassin could affect what the female was doing to his cock. Why was it every other female of a healthy age on this planet would spread their legs for him, but she resisted?

“Assassin, watch my mother closely. This killer has an agenda. The attempt on the Commander’s female was just because she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He has sunk deeply into this city and knows it well. Until we catch him, every living being here is at risk.”

“Are you saying I shouldn’t leave the Queen’s side or that you and I are going after the killer to protect the Queen?” As he spoke, the Assassin moved with grace on the narrow beam. “Right now your mother is safe, she is having a meal in her rooms with the Advisor. I have my own female to check on and I am tired of watching you watch yours.” With that the large shadow was gone.

Quill also moved softly across the beam until he reached a point on the rock wall above the work area where his female was working with a full team.

It took him very little time to find handholds to descend to the level of the workers. He approached the large delivery pod that her team was unloading. Those who saw him stopped and bowed or even dropped to one knee. Still he had to smile, as he entered the room and she only dropped her head.

This was his female, one so proud and fighting herself as well as him. She didn’t want him because of who he was and he couldn’t take her because of who he was. Where were his fathers, because they were the ones who had put him in this unholy situation?

“Leave us.” He commanded, not taking his eyes off her face, and the room cleared instantly. Gods his body needed her. Then he sm
elled the air.

He was careful not to step closer, to allow her space. Yet within that space he smelled her sweat, sweet female sweat. Underneath there was only a touch of fear and the floating touch of her sex, arousal that she tried to hide.

“Don’t worry, I’m just here with some concerns. How is your hand-to-hand training?” He kept his voice low, but his feelings were strong and hard to maintain. He so wanted to take her down on this cold floor and ram his cock into her center, hard and deep.

She brought her head up in surprise at the question. “All soldiers are taught hand-to-hand.”

He sighed. He knew she was higher than what was supplied on the records. She was hiding secrets, but he chose to let her have something. “There is a killer loose in the city. We know he has killed one strong female and attacked another with the thought of taking her life. He has the ability to kill with his hands. He is not unusually large, but he is surprisingly strong. We don’t know if he was taught or if he is driven and has taken time to train him self. He is dangerous.”

Minel looked around the tight quarters he had caught her within. She tried not to look directly at him. This male who ruled a world, was too beautiful to have her eyes on for very long. It wasn’t her military training that helped her say no to him, it was her female protection gene. There was no future for working up through the ranks. A soldier from another world and this magnificent male who had everything handed to him with the ability to do it would never have a long time future.

At last Minel felt she could talk. “What has this killer or any of this to do with me?”

Quill fought all the wrong urges and thought only of protecting Mine. He had her name shortened inside of his brain.

“I would like to see that you are trained a little further in special fighting that might give you a chance against this killer.”

Minel now took a chance and looked at his amazing gem like green eyes. “What would convince me to take additional training?”

“Well, soldier Mine, you could then teach the same tricks to other female soldiers that are held here. They would accept such training from you that they would not like from their guards.” He had her now, as he saw her lower her eyes to the floor.
