UnKiss Me Page 8

by Dawn Martens

What mother wears a skimpy, black, ‘fuck me’ dress to a school, and in this weather to beat it all? Her make-up looks worse than something my grandmother would have worn, with light blue covering her eyelids all the way up to the eyebrows. Her eyebrows, by the way, were penciled on. Her lips are red, and the lipstick is smeared on her teeth, while her bleach blonde hair is sticking out all over the place. Looking at her, I feel almost sick that this is the woman who mothered Glenna. Thank God G-baby doesn’t look a thing like her.

“Yeah, this bitch won’t let me see my baby,” she says with attitude, trying to push her dress down without much success.

“Yeah, and you won’t see her,” he shoots back, gritting his teeth in a menacing sneer. “You left her on an abusive, sick fuck’s doorstep with the papers giving up your parental rights when she was just ten months old.”

“Willy is an amazing man. I left her in good hands,” she shouts at him. Clearly, she is warped in the brain, or she doesn’t know my father that well. My father wasn’t even decent on his best days.

“Say one more word, woman, and I won’t hesitate to go back to the old ways of the club. You might suck good dick, but that’s all you are good at,” Mason insults her, and it makes me sick thinking that he and possibly Jasper have had her.

I look around the hallways quickly, making sure no children are around. That would be horrible if a little one heard what was just said.

“Guys, we should move into the office. I would hate for a child to come out here and overhear the things you’re saying,” I tell them, gently trying to usher them forward.

“Who the fuck are you?” Foxy says, spinning on her heels and glaring at me. This surprises me, considering she had to have known that I was my father’s child. She can’t be that stupid, can she?

Mason doesn’t let me respond, because he’s moving her into the office against her will. “Who the fuck is she, you ask?” he spits at her in a growl. “She’s only the one who has been doing your job, raising Glenna and protecting her from that sick fuck sperm donor you think is Mr. Wonderful.”

“I’m so sorry, Mrs. Palmer,” I tell her frantically.

“Don’t worry, dear. We all knew this day would come,” she tells me, patting my arm as we walk into her office. Does everyone in this town know every damn thing about us? I shake my head; I know I shouldn’t be upset. Everyone just wants what’s best for us. Mrs. Palmer is still so sweet. She’s been around so long that it kind of shocked me to find out she’s still a principal. She used to be at the high school. She probably got tired of breaking up all the PDA in the hallways.

Glenna doesn’t really know anything about Foxy, but even she’s said a few times that if she’s anything like Dad, she doesn’t want to know her.

She gets in my face, pointing at me. “You can’t stop me from seeing my daughter!” Foxy screeches.

“She sure as fuck can,” a low, menacing voice says from the doorway.

I jump, not realizing that Jasper’s here.

“You try and get near that kid, you’ll be dealing with us. That’s a promise,” Jasper says, facing down Foxy.

Her face pales, but just as quickly as she paled, her face goes back to angry. “You win this round, but this isn’t the last you’ll hear from me,” she says, storming past us.

I try not to look at her, but I can’t help it; it’s like watching a train wreck. Her short dress is practically showing her ass off. I don’t even think the whore has any panties on.

I feel stupid that I didn’t speak up to that woman. I’m such a coward. Seems like the old me is hiding still. I don’t know why I didn’t hit her, but that wouldn’t have solved anything either. I don’t understand what Foxy is doing here, or why she’s choosing now to come after Glenna.

I sink down into the chair that’s in the office. I’m glad it was there, because if not, I would have ended up on my ass on the floor. I place my elbows on my knees and rest my face in my hands.

I know I should have taken a restraining order out against her from the first moment I was granted custody of Glenna; I just never thought I would actually need to worry about her. She sure hasn’t cared about Glenna these past five years that she’s been without her. What gives her the right to come back after all of this time and try to make a claim on her now? I won’t stand by and let her swoop in from nowhere to turn Glenna’s world upside down. I’ve worked too damn hard—given up too much to let that sorry whore ruin all that I’ve built for G-baby.

At the same time, I feel like a hypocrite knowing the choices I’ve made. How can I sit here and judge her? Maybe she was forced to walk away. I feel so confused. How do I explain to Glenna about her mom?

What if she fights me on this? What if I end up losing Glenna? I feel irresponsible at this moment. Every time Jasper’s seen me since he showed up on my doorstep, he’s seen me upset, freaking out, lost in thought, and now, just plain broken.

I watch Foxy leave the building without the kid. “Fuck!” I shout, smashing my fist onto the steering wheel. I pick up the phone and dial.

“Did she grab the kid?” he asks.

“No, she failed. Why the fuck did we send her in on that mission anyways? We should have known it wouldn’t have worked,” I tell him.

“We’ll have to think of another way. Sooner or later, all the boys will make the rounds, guarding them. One of us is bound to be in that rotation. That’ll have to be our chance.”

“If this all goes to hell, man, we have to get the fuck outta dodge,” I say.

“Either way, we’re taking back the fucking club. This pussy business of saving kids, instead of us loading up on all the free pussy and getting a shit load of money off the drugs and gun profits, is whacked. When Angel started taking over and changing shit, we should have fought back. The only fuckin’ good thing we have goin’ is a few of us were given the deeds to the strip clubs owned by the club.”

“Yeah, we need to grab Eden and deal with it, frame Angel and his boys. That will ruin their reputation. Plus, if Big Willy gets outta prison before we can fix this fuckin’ mess, we’re all dead either way.”

“Swing by Eden’s house before anyone gets over there. Drop that letter off. Big Willy wants contact.”

“Will do. You need to make contact with the bosses.”

“Get rid of the whore. She failed. She needs to pay for that shit. Then get started with plan B. Don’t worry, I’ll be contacting them.” He clicks off, and the line goes dead.

I look out to the road as Foxy comes to the car, opens the door, and gets in. “I wasn’t on the damn approved list. I couldn’t get near the brat,” she angrily tells me.

I drive off, slowly creeping down the back alley behind Eden’s house. I take the envelope from the console and shove it into Foxy’s hand. “Back door is usually unlocked. Get in, fast, and hide that somewhere Eden will find it,” I order her directly.

She stares at me for a minute, looking confused, then nods and gets out. Minutes later, she’s back.

“I put it in the coffee pot lid. She should find that soon.”

“Good thinking.” Most women like to have coffee first thing every morning.

We drive off as she fools around with the radio.

I pull over behind the old warehouse that we used for guns. It’s been shut down for a while, but a few of us still come here every once in a while. I know this is as good a place as any to off this whore. “What are we doing here?” Her voice cracks as her shoulders slump, knowing she fucked up and I no longer have use for her.

“Thought we could have a little fun, just the two of us. I can’t let anyone know about us. You know I have an old lady. Besides, it would blow our plan to shit if we were seen together.” I unzip my pants and press her head down into my lap. The bitch doesn’t waste any time getting my dick hard and sucking me off.

Afterwards, she is wiping her mouth and not paying attention. Now that she is relaxed, I can do this shit. “Let’s go over there to fuck. I ain’t
doing shit in my truck,” I say, nodding my head over to the woods.

“Okay, that sounds good.” She gets out of the car and starts walking in front of me.

Pulling my gun out of my cut, I drop the whore like yesterday’s news.

I drag her limp body underneath the trees, then go back to where I just shot her and kick some dirt over the blood that seeped out from the hole in the nasty cunt’s head. I finish covering the trail, get back in my truck, and drive off. Not many people come out this way, but I’m not taking any chances at being spotted here.

“If she even steps foot on the property again, call the cops, then us,” I tell Mrs. Palmer.

She gives a brisk nod of her head. “Done.”

“I’m so sorry this happened today,” Eden says quietly to her.

“Now, dear, none of that. You go on and get on home. I’d say you could take Glenna early, but it’s barely even noon yet.”

Eden gives her a smile. “Yeah, I should let her just go on as if everything is fine. No need to worry her about anything right now.”

I place my hand on the small of Eden’s back and escort her out to my bike. “Get on,” I say, not looking at her and giving her no room for argument. “Meet me at the clubhouse. I’m taking Eden home. Call Lilly and get her and Hilary over to the house in about an hour.”

Reaper and Zippo both give me the chin lift and take off in the direction of the clubhouse.

“Momma B, you and Mona stay. I want the school watched. If you need extra sets of eyes, call em’ in, but that bitch is not getting near Glenna,” I tell her. I watch her eyes go scary dark, and she gives me a chin lift.

“Nothing will harm that little girl,” she vows.

I throw my leg over, straddling my bike, and Eden climbs on behind me, not saying a word. Monica is standing at her classroom window with a lost expression on her face. I shake off my guilt, remembering Eden’s with me. Now isn’t the time with all this shit going on. Once her arms are firmly wrapped around me, I take off.

Doesn’t take me long to ride to her place. I park in the driveway, just in front of the garage doors.

“In the house,” I tell her as we get off the bike. “Why didn’t you call me?” I ask her as we get inside.

She bites her lower lip. “I didn’t even think to call you,” she says, not looking at me. “Glenna was in danger. My only thought was to protect her.”

I move in, crowding her against the wall and praying like fuck she doesn’t cower, because that will ruin my plans for us.

“You didn’t think to call me?” I repeat dangerously low.

She shakes her head, still biting her lip.

“Keep biting that lip, Darlin’, and I’ll remind you right here and now what my teeth can do to it,” I tell her, my hands going to the wall on either side of her head.

She instantly lets go of her bottom lip, staring at me in shock while her cheeks turn pink.

“Fuck it,” I growl and capture her mouth with mine.

“Damn it, Jasper, we can’t be getting caught up like this.” She tries to push me away, but I can see it in her eyes that she doesn’t really want me to stop.

“Nuh uh. You and me, we’ve got lots to talk about, but right now, I’m taking this.” I cup her face, and our mouths slam back together with magnetic force. Our tongues collide, mingling, tasting one another. Her fingers are threaded through my hair in a death grip. Fuck, I have missed kissing my woman. She claws at my shirt, lifting it over my head. I don’t waste any time ripping her shirt open.

Her breasts are begging to be licked, sucked, and pleasured by my mouth. Eden’s fingers tease at my navel then she slides down to her knees. “Not today, sweetheart.” I lift her back up to my eye level.

“Damn it, Jasper. Just fuck me. That’s what you want right,” she grits through her teeth in a lusty growl. She tugs on the zipper of my jeans and takes to removing her own. It’s so cute when her pants get trapped around her ankles. Taking advantage of her situation, I pin her to the wall, her head resting against the light blue paint.

“No, I don’t want to just fuck you. I want to love you.” I slide my hands inside of her dainty bikini panties and slip them down the curve of her heart shaped ass. I step between her legs on her pants, and pick her up and out of them, kicking them out of the way and spinning her around to face the wall. Reaching around to her throbbing clit, I massage it gently before sliding into her wet cunt.

Her hands brace the wall as I pound my cock into her without mercy.

  “Oh, God,” she cries out.

Her head tilts back against my shoulder, and I take advantage of her mouth, kissing her softly then roughly. I want her every way I can have her. I should slow down and take my time, but that can wait until next time. There will be many more next times. I pull out of her, and she groans. “Why’d you stop?”

“I wanna look at you when you cum.” I pick her up, her legs instantly wrapping around my waist, and I pound into her.

Her arm comes up, snaking behind my neck as she caresses my head lovingly.

She whispers, “Harder,” and I about nearly cum. I bite down on her ear and draw my cock out before slamming into her until we both fall apart. I don’t know how I have gone without this feeling for so long.

“I still love you. Always have, always will,” Jasper whispers into my hair. Goose bumps pimple across my skin at the touch of his warm breath hitting my neck. He lets me down from the wall, and we fix our clothes.

I squeeze my eyes shut as a tear falls down my cheek. I missed him so much. It’s at this moment that I want to blurt out to him the truth; the truth of everything, the secret I’m keeping from him.

“Don’t cry.” He brushes his thumb over my lonely tear. He moves, resting his forehead on mine. “You can’t leave me again, Eden,” he states. “You have to believe me when I tell you, I never did shit with Roni after you and I got together officially.”

After thinking it over since last night, I do believe him. I should never have listened to my dad that night, but I also wasn’t in the right frame of mind. So many things would be different if I had just run to him instead of taking off. But then again, I did come back for him months later. He just didn’t want me.

I pulled up to Lilly’s and knocked on the door, and it didn’t take long for someone to open it. “Oh my God, you’re back!” Ann said, smiling.

“Yeah, I’m sorry. I don’t mean to just knock and run, but I need to find Jasper. I tried going to his house, but no one was home.” Ann’s face fell, and she seemed hesitant to tell me.

“He’s uh, at the Satan’s Law clubhouse,” she told me.

I frowned. “Huh?” I asked, confused. The Jasper I knew would never have gotten caught up in shit like that.

She nodded. “Yeah, he, um, hangs out there sometimes. It’s just on the out skirts of town.”

“Okay, well, I’ll go by and see,” I said, giving her a small smile.

I started to walk down the front steps, but she called my name to stop me. “Be careful, sweetie,” she said.

I drove to the abandoned warehouse that I was told was the club, and parked just outside the metal fence. I got out of the car and went to the guy standing guard. “Hey, um, I’m looking for Jasper?”

He looked me up and down. “You are?” he asked.

  “Eden.”

His mouth dropped in shock. “Yeah, um, go on in,” he said, opening the fence.

I gave him a small smile. “Thank you,” I told him as I walked through.

I opened the front door and looked around. The place was all smoky, and it reeked. It took me a few minutes, but my eyes finally found him. “Oh my God,” I croaked out.

Jasper was there, on the couch, with some woman on top of him, but he didn’t really look like he was enjoying it. He looked far away, almost dazed. I walked over, hesitantly.

  “Um, Jasper?” I said.

Jasper startled and looked at me, smiling. “Well, well, if it isn’t Eden. I must be dre
aming,” he says, slurring, then barked out a laugh. “That rhymed, I think.”

It was then that I saw the woman on top of him was Monica, Roni’s cousin. My heart dropped into my stomach. She looked at me and glared. “Can’t you see we’re busy? Fucking bitch.”

“You left. This is what happens when you leave me. I fuck everything that moves,” he said, barking out another laugh.

I backed away slowly, not wanting to hear any more. Plus, the fact that Monica hadn’t stopped bouncing on top of him was making me ill. Eww.

I ended up backing into someone. Twisting my head around, I saw that it was Victor, Jasper’s dad. “Don’t pay no attention to him right now, girl. He’s drunk as fuck, plus he’s snorted too much coke. He’ll sleep it off then wake up and think this was all a dream.”

The Jasper I knew wouldn’t have been like that. It had only been three months. “Maybe I’ll just talk to him again in the morning?”

“Nope, you are gonna get back in your car and leave. Come back again, I’ll make sure your dad knows you’re here,” he growled out.

My face paled. “Please don’t tell him.”

“I won’t if you get gone. I never wanted you for my son. He’s too fucking young to settle down. You aren’t the type of bitch I want him trapped to. Get the fuck gone, and don’t come back,” he said heatedly.

With those parting words, I ran. That was not my Jasper. At least, when he was with Roni, it was before we actually got together. Seeing him with another woman, Monica, only three months after I had to leave town? I didn’t know if I could forgive him for that.

“I’m sorry for leaving you,” I say, not bringing up that night to him.

“Baby, it’s over now. It’s time to move on. Me and you. Always,” he says grinning.

“Yes, always,” I tell him back—at least, until my secret blows up. I try not to let my doubt ruin this moment.

“Have you heard from your mom at all?” I ask him. Lilly told me a few years back, after Jasper’s dad was caught cheating on her, that she up and left.
