A Friendly Encounter Page 16

by Alex Dafney

I step in first, turning to face the door as it closes. Jase steps in front of me, placing both of his hands on my hips as he grins down at me. “Are you sure about our arrangement this weekend?” I audibly gulp as I stare up at him, my mind racing with desire and the consequences. I nod slowly, inhaling a deep breath through my mouth. He gives me a stunning smile before slowly lowering his face to mine.

I inadvertently hold my breath as my eyes slowly close, waiting for his lips to meet mine. He places his lips on my cheek lightly, causing me to release my breath. He kisses along my cheek over to my neck, just below my ear as I sigh, clenching my hands into his biceps. “Relax, Abbi.” He whispers against my neck, a soft chuckle in his voice. Goosebumps spread along my neck at the sound of his low voice in my ear.

He pulls back looking down at me with that damned grin. “You’re so damn tense.” I drop my eyes to the floor as the elevator door opens behind him. He grips my hand in his, striding into the foyer area and placing his hand on the security device. It flashes green and he drops his hand to the door lever, pushing it down and thrusting the door open. Once we’re inside the butterflies in my stomach take over.

I pull my hand from his, placing it to my forehead as I take a deep, calming breath, pinching my eyes closed. “Hey.” I open my eyes slightly as I feel his hands on my upper arms, rubbing gently. He gives me a worried expression as he rubs his hands along my arms gently. “We’re not going to do anything you don’t want. Okay? You’re in charge here.”

I give him a small smile before dropping my eyes to the floor and shaking my head with a humorless laugh. “I’ve, uh, never been with anyone other than Remington. And that was months ago. I’m just, nervous?” He moves his hands up my arms, trailing them along my neck before cupping my cheeks and lifting my face. My eyes meet his, finding a gentle smile on his lips. “You’re not the only one that’s nervous. I’ve only been with one other woman in my life.”

I take in a deep breath, squaring my shoulders back. His hands slowly fall from my cheeks and I commit to my next move before fully committing. I take one step forward, lifting my arms and linking them behind his neck as I push up onto my tiptoes. I close my eyes as I press my face toward his. He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me flush to his bare chest. Our lips meet and instantly the nervous butterflies disappear. Replaced with a deep sense of longing for so much more.

My lips part as his tongue gently caresses my bottom lip. He slips his tongue into my mouth, a low, guttural moan escaping him as he slides his hands down my back, placing them on my ass. He squeezes gently as we continue to kiss slowly. Within seconds our slow, sensual kiss has become a feverish display of need on both sides.

I grip the hair on the nape of his neck, pulling on his hair as he lifts me off the ground. My legs wrap around his strong hips, never breaking our kiss. I feel the cold granite of the kitchen counter on the back of my thighs as he sits me gently, returning his hands to grip my hips. He breaks the kiss, placing his lips on my neck just under my ear as his hand trails up the front of my body slowly.

I tilt my head to the side, my eyes closed as his hand runs between my breast, cupping my throat lightly and tilting my head more to the side. He continues kissing along my neck as he lowers his hands, gripping my ass and sliding me to the edge of the counter. My core directly against the bulge in his swimsuit. A low moan escapes me as his teeth graze my ear lobe. His breath on my skin spreading goosebumps along my body.

He pulls away abruptly, his breathing heavy as I stare at him with wide eyes, my breaths matching his. “Jesus Christ, Abbi. What the hell am I doing?” He asks the floor as he rakes a hand through his still damp hair. My cheeks instantly burn as I readjust my bathing suit coverup, hopping to the floor with the sound of my flip flops clicking loudly as I land.

I focus my eyes on the floor as my blush broadens, reaching my ears and creeping down my neck. “I’m sorry. I thought we were-.” He interrupts me instantly. “No!” I jump slightly at his loud voice, looking up to him with wide eyes. He runs his hand through his hair once again. “Fuck. I’m really screwing this up.” I blink rapidly up at him, waiting for him to send me out the door on my merry way.

He inhales a deep breath, releasing it slowly through his mouth as he reaches for my hands, pressing them between his own. “I’m sorry, Abbi. I didn’t intend to maul you on the kitchen counter. You deserve more than that.” I stare up at him, utterly speechless. I didn’t find our exchange anything other than absolutely sexy, but the mere thought that he thinks I deserve more makes my heart flutter. He reaches one hand up, cupping my cheek as he leans forward, pressing his lips to mine delicately. He pulls back slowly, keeping his face inches from mine. “Let me make it up to you?”

I nod reflexively as he smiles widely. He releases my hand and my cheek, reaching down and hooking his arm behind my knees, flinging me back as he catches me with his other arm causing me to shriek. “Don’t worry. I got you.” I link my arms around his neck as he carries me down the hallway, completely worried that he will in fact, have me before the weekend is over.

He kicks the door open to his bedroom, striding across the room as he effortlessly carries me. Placing his lips to mine in a slow, sultry manor as he lowers me to the bed. He places his hands on either side of me, leaning forward and placing his lips on mine in a sensual kiss. I moan against his lips as his tongue breaches my mouth. My mouth opening at its own accord.

He pulls back slightly, his forehead resting against mine. “You’re so fucking gorgeous.” My cheeks heat with a blush for what feels like the hundredth time in the last hour. He leans back on his heels, gripping my hands in his and pulling me upward. Quickly he reaches for the hem of my bathing suit coverup, pulling it up and over my head. He looks over my body and I feel the need to cover myself with my arms.

I move my arms in front of my chest, attempting to cover myself as he gives me a sexy grin, shaking his head slowly as he grips my arms, pushing me back on the bed as he leans over me. “You’re beautiful, Abigail.” He says as he lowers his elbows to either side of my head, his body pressing against mine lightly as he keeps his full weight from crushing me.

He drops his lips to my neck, working around that sensitive spot just below my ear with his tongue. I can feel the bulge in his swimsuit pressing against my stomach as he shifts his weight. He pushes up to his hands, leaning over me as his lips begin to move lower along my body. When he drops his lips to the top of my breast I suck in a breath. My arousal becoming torturous.

He lifts his eyes to mine, a questioning look on his face. “Do you want me to stop?” I shake my head so quickly it feels like my eyeballs are shaking in my head. “No.” I breathlessly whisper as a grin pulls onto the corner of his mouth. I arch my back, sliding my hand behind me and gripping the string that ties the back of my bathing suit top, pulling both loose as I lie back.

He sits back on his heels, sliding his hands along my stomach before settling his fingers over my bikini top, slowly pulling the top away and tossing it over his shoulder. Moving toward me he grips my breast in one hand, pulling my nipple into his mouth and swirling his tongue around until I’m moaning. He lets out a low groan, sending heat straight to my core.

He releases my nipple from his mouth, shifting his body so his lips are at mine. His mouth crushes against my own in a hard kiss as his hand trails down my body, his fingers skimming over the top of my bathing suit bottoms. He eases his fingers into my bottoms, my breathing quickening.

His fingers run lower, sliding over my entrance as he circles my sweet spot with his thumb in a perfect rhythm. My back arches involuntarily when he inserts one finger inside me, a long moan being drowned away by his mouth on mine. He pulls his lips away from mine, continuing to work me into a frenzy. “You’re so wet for me.” I mewl as he skims his teeth along my neck. Without warning an orgasm wracks through me, my body clenching against his finger as my head rolls back and a whimper escapes me.

  He continues working me w
ith his hand until my whole body relaxes into the bed, a content sigh rushing out of me. I open my eyes slightly as his hand leaves me, finding him staring down at me with a smirk. “I’m going to need you to do that as many times in the next forty-eight hours as possible.” I giggle slightly as he pushes up from the bed, turning and opening his nightstand drawer. He turns back to me, holding up a condom with a raised eyebrow.

My thighs squeeze together at the thought of him inside me. “You sure about this?” He asks me with a serious expression. I nod as I reach down, hooking my thumbs in either side of my bottoms and shrugging them off. I watch as he stands from the bed, dropping his shorts to the floor. My eyes widen at the sight of him. I push up onto my elbows, blinking rapidly. “This won’t do.”

He glances down at his fully erect member that lays against his belly, a look of concern on his face when his eyes find mine. “Uh, what?” I start to giggle wildly as I notice the pink tint to his cheeks and realize what he must think I mean. “Not like that!” I roll to my side giggling. “I can honestly say this has never happened before.” I glance up to find him pulling his shorts back on, a scowl on his face.

I sit up quickly, my giggles disappearing. “I’m practically a virgin, and well, you’re kind of… huge.” He gives me an arrogant smile as he drops his shorts back to the floor, kneeling on the bed and crawling over to me. “That’s better than what I thought you meant.” I chuckle slightly as he grips my hip, turning me to face him as he lies on his side next to me. “Let’s get cleaned up and go to dinner.”

My eyes widen with shock. “But I thought we were going to-“ I let my sentence trail off, gesturing my hand between us. He shrugs one shoulder, resting his hand on my bare hip. “I told you. You’re in control. If you don’t want to have sex we’re not going to.” I give him a sexy smile as I scoot toward him, pressing my breasts against his chest as I place a soft kiss to his lips. “I didn’t say I don’t want to.”

He gives me a playful grin before bounding up quickly and snatching the condom from the nightstand. I fall to my back, my head resting on the pillow as I watch him rip the package open. He looks over at me as he rolls the condom on his massive erection. “You’re sure?” I nod my head, my insides quivering in anticipation.

He grips my leg with his hand, stroking his thumb along my ankle as he spreads my legs wider. Once he’s in position he bends over me, placing his lips on mine in a sweet kiss. “Ready?” He whispers against my lips. “Yes.” I whisper back to him. He places himself at my entrance, pushing forward slowly. I lean my head back, closing my eyes as he fills me. “Just tell me to stop, Abs.” I shake my head side to side slowly. “Keep going.”

The pain is minimal compared to the wonderful feeling of being filled with him. I let out a low moan as he fills me completely. He stops pushing forward, allowing me to adjust to his size. “Are you alright?” I open my eyes, seeing the genuine concern in his eyes. “Perfect.” I give him a sensual smile as he pulls out slowly, entering me once again. He sets a slow pace, alternating between kissing my lips and my neck.

“I’m not going to last long.” He whispers against my lips as he pushes into the hilt. “I’m close.” I moan as my walls begin to clench around him. He drops his lips to my neck, growling lightly in my ear. The sound sends me over the edge, my eyes closing as my body erupts with the most intense orgasm I’ve ever experienced. He pushes into me deeply, his pace quickening, letting me know his own release is impending. Within seconds he lets out a moan, thrusting into me deeply. I feel him twitch inside me as his body drops to mine, his breathing coming in long, deep breaths. “Damn.” He says as he pulls out of me, rolling to his back at my side.

I turn to my side, my legs feeling like limp noodles and a satiated smile on my face. “Damn.” He glances over to me, a similar smile on his face. He sits up from the bed, swinging his legs over the edge and striding toward the bathroom. “I need to recharge. Should we order in, or are you up for going out?” He asks from inside the bathroom.

I sit up in the bed, rolling my neck around. “Let’s go out.” He peeks his head around the doorframe, a surprised smile on his face. “Yeah?” I nod as I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stand. “I need a shower first though.” He gives me a devious smile as he steps out of the bathroom, walking straight for me. “Let’s shower then.” He reaches around me, gripping my ass and lifting me in a quick motion as I let out a surprised gasp and wrap my arms around his neck.

  Chapter 12

After a second round in the shower I stand with the warm spray of water raining down around me. Jase got out a few minutes ago and I’ve been standing in this position ever since, recounting what just happened between us. I keep telling myself this is just casual sex, but in my heart, I know things have changed between us. At least for me.

With a sigh I turn and shut the water off, grabbing the towel from the hook beside the door and drying myself. I wrap the towel around my body and walk across the bedroom, opening the door and walking across the hall to the guest bedroom where my suitcase is. After getting dressed I stand in front of the bathroom mirror applying a small amount of makeup.

I pull my hair into a low ponytail before walking out of the room toward the living room where I assume Jase is. I find him hovering over his laptop on the coffee table as I walk into the room. I take a seat on the love seat, watching him as he types furiously, his brow drawn together in concentration. He looks so focused and frustrated.

I clear my throat quietly and he looks up to me. “Oh, I didn’t realize you’re ready.” I give him a small smile, folding my hands and resting them in my lap. “If you have work to do, we could always order in.” He shakes his head as he closes the laptop, his face still set in a slight scowl as he stands. “No. Just trying to work out a deal that isn’t going the way I want it to.”

He turns and walks out of the living room to the kitchen, picking his phone up from the counter and typing. “The car will be here in twenty minutes.” He places the phone on the counter, gripping the edge and letting out a long sigh. I walk into the kitchen, leaning back against the counter next to him. “We really don’t have to go to dinner on my account.”

He closes his eyes, running his hand down his face as he lets out another sigh. “I’m sorry, Abbi. Just give me a minute.” He walks away from me toward the living room. I watch as he slides the balcony door open and steps outside, beginning to pace along the balcony with a stressed expression on his face. Not knowing what to do with myself I sit at the bar, slipping my phone from the pocket of my dress and scrolling through social media.

After a long ten minutes I hear the glass door sliding open. I force myself to keep my eyes on my phone instead of looking over at him as he walks in. He slips onto the bar stool next to me. “Sorry. I wasn’t expecting the news I just got.” I close out of the app on my phone, placing it on the counter as I turn to look at him. “Anything you want to talk about?”

He glances at me from the corner of his eye, letting out a heavy sigh. Standing from the stool he walks around the counter, opening a high cabinet and pulling out a bottle of dark liquor and two glasses. “Milton and I are business partners.” I lean my elbows on the counter waiting for him to continue as he places ice in both the glasses and begins to pour a generous amount of the dark liquor in each. “I’m trying to buy him out of his share of the company, but he keeps coming back with ridiculous figures that would effectively put me out of business.”

He slides one of the glasses across the counter toward me. I grip it in both hands, sliding it in front of me as he tilts his back, finishing the glass in one take. I lift my glass taking a sip. The strong, warm drink is smooth as it travels down my throat. Placing the glass in front of me on the counter I cup both my hands around it. “Why are you trying to buy him out?” I ask quietly, although after seeing him with Natalia last night I can guess.

Jase pours himself another glass of liquor, throwing it back before looking at me with a scowl on his face. “
Milton and I were college roommates. We were both there on Art scholarships and both wanted to go into animation design, so we hit it off. After college we opened our company. Everything was great until I came home from work and found him in my bed with my girlfriend.”

My lip dips to the side in a frown. “I’m sorry. I know it must be hard to work with him after that.” He scoffs. “We haven’t worked together in years. I’ve been trying to buy him out for over a year, long before he and Natalia started screwing around behind my back.” He lets out another sigh, shaking his head slowly as I lift the tumbler to my lips. “There’s no way in hell I’m giving him twenty-five million when I’m the one who has made this business.”

At the outrageous figure I choke on the dark liquor. Coughing and slapping my hand against my chest. Jase starts around the kitchen counter, pounding his hand on my back. “Are you alright?” I nod my head, clearing my throat and taking a deep breath as I wave a hand toward him. “I’m fine.” My voice comes out raspy. I take another sip of the drink as he sits next to me. “Sorry.” I clear my throat again. “I didn’t realize you were dealing with all of this.”

He gives me a strange expression. “You mean you didn’t realize I was dealing with that much money.” I give him a shy smile. “No. The twenty-five million kind of shocked me. I can’t even fathom.” I lift the drink to my mouth, taking a large sip as he stares at me. “How do you feel about me now? Knowing something like that.” I take in the concern on his face as I narrow my brow perplexingly.

“What do you mean?” He looks away, pulling his phone from his pocket and glancing at it before slipping it back and standing. “The car is here.” I stand, reaching for my purse on the counter and slipping it on my shoulder as I turn to the open door. Stepping out first, Jase pulls it closed behind us. We walk down the hallway side by side toward the elevator. He hits the button to go down and we stand in an uncomfortable silence.
