“Yes. I love you, Royce.” She couldn’t hold the words back any longer.
He pulled out and she gave him a curious look. He hadn’t come. He grinned wickedly. If she didn’t know him his smile would scare her. “I meant when I said all night long. I am a hungry man and that was just an appetizer. Now for the main meal.”
He flipped her onto her stomach and she squeaked with surprise. He lifted her so her ass was up in the air and her cheek against the pillow. She felt vulnerable and open, but she trusted Royce. He would never hurt her or force her to do something she didn’t want. She let her body relax into the mattress, showing him she was willing to take everything he had. Her arms hugged a pillow as she waited for him to make his move.
“I love you, baby.” His voice was choked up and she knew he got her message. She belonged to this man, body and soul. He inserted himself back into her pussy and grabbed her hips. He thrust in and out of her, using her own juices as lubrication. He stuck a finger into her ass and she moaned in shock. She felt nervous because she didn’t know what to expect. Reading about it was way different than actually experiencing the act.
“Have you ever had anal sex?” His voice sounded like he was having trouble breathing.
“No,” she whispered, and felt a second finger stretch her hole. It burned but it also felt good. She had never wanted to give it a try with any of her past lovers, but with Royce she would. It felt right because she trusted him and loved him. “But I want to, only with you.”
He gave her ass a light slap. “Damn right only with me. This body is only mine and not just for tonight. I almost lost you and I know how fucking stupid I’ve been. Well no more.”
“No more,” she agreed.
She moaned as he played with her ass, getting her used to his touch. He pulled out of her slick pussy and inserted his cock into her ass slowly, stretching her inch by inch and groaning along the way. He took it nice and slow and she wasn’t sure what to feel. It was an uncomfortable feeling at first, until he started moving inside of her.
“Damn you’re tight. This won’t last long.” Soon he was all the way in and the uncomfortable burn was turning into something else. She felt full and different. It was an intimate act she would never try with anyone else, only him. His hands gripped her hips and she knew he was giving her time. She took a deep breath and pushed back on his cock slightly. He groaned.
She gripped the blanket in her hands and held on as he pumped in and out of her, over and over. He reached around her and touched her clit. She bucked against him and his cock went in deeper. That’s when the climax came for the both of them, long and hard. They both screamed and she fell all the way on the mattress. Her legs were trembling and weak. He slowly and carefully pulled out.
He hugged her right away as she yawned. His arms held her tightly as he spooned her against his body as if he didn’t want to be separated from her.
“Sleep, baby. Dessert comes later.” He kissed her cheek.
Jessy chuckled lightly but closed her eyes. He was warm and comforting. “Lech.”
“Only with you,” he swore.
“Damn right only with me.” She repeated his earlier word and fell asleep.

Jared entered the suite with a laughing Lucia. Gabe had stayed behind with the boys. They knew to keep him out of trouble. He was so excited to be hanging out with the guys. He picked up the note on the table and frowned.
“What’s wrong, Jared? Is it Jessy?” He could hear the concern in Lucia’s voice and he loved her gentle nature. Being around violence and fights all the time, he enjoyed the way her generous smile and sweet nature soothed him. He smiled at her, hiding his worry.
“Royce took Jessy to his room to take care of her,” he explained.
“This bothers you? They are boyfriend and girlfriend, no?”
Jared poured a glass of champagne for the both of them and led her to the couch. She looked so beautiful in her emerald green dress. She left her long black hair loose and he wanted to touch it and see if it was as silky as it looked. He gave her a little background on what had transpired between his daughter and manager. It felt good to have someone to confide in. He had been alone for so long now.
Lucia sipped the cool liquid as she listened to him. “Jessy strikes me as an intelligent girl. I am sure she will make sure Royce treats her right this time. And I have seen the longing looks he gives her. It is sweet.”
Jared set his glass down on the coffee table. He reached out and fingered her hair. It was silky. “Is it how I look at you? Because despite my advanced age, I long for you. I don’t want to scare you off, but I am so attracted to you, Lucia.”
She smiled and put her glass down, too. She reached for his hand and placed it over her beating heart. “Feel how fast it beats? It is because of you, Jared. It has been so long since I have felt like this. It does not matter that we are not youthful teens. Romance has no age limit.”
“I feel like a nervous young boy right now. Filled with desire but afraid I’ll come on too strong,” he confessed, scooting closer to her. He loved how soft her brown eyes looked. He leaned in and took her lips softly at first, then added pressure when she didn’t protest. He felt her hands rub his shoulders and her breasts were against his chest. He put all his feelings into the kiss, wanting her to know he was for real and not playing games.
“Oh, Jared, that was amazing,” she whispered. “I never thought I would feel like this again.”
“Since we find ourselves alone, will you stay with me tonight?” he asked over the loud thumping of his heart. It had been ages since he felt so excited about making love and exploring a woman’s body. From the moment he had laid eyes on her, he knew she was special.
She sighed softly and stood up. She reached her hand out and waited for him to grab it. “Let the night begin.”
Jared stood up and carried her to his suite despite her protests that she was too heavy.
Chapter 21
Jessy noticed right away that something had changed between her dad and Lucia and she was so glad. They kept staring into each other’s eyes and her dad looked smug and satisfied. They had all met for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. He didn’t even question her about staying with Royce. He had a sappy look on his face as he kissed her forehead in a greeting.
She leaned her head on Royce’s shoulder and sighed.
“What was that little sound for?”
She smiled and looked up at her lover’s handsome face. Last night had been so much better than their first night. They had both been relaxed and not rushed. He had made slow and gentle love to her this morning, too. “I’m just happy right now. I wish it could stay this way forever.”
“Who says it can’t?” He leaned down and kissed her lips lightly. “I love you, Jessy, and I am a man who knows what he wants. You.”
“None of that mushy stuff at the table,” Blake complained, drinking his orange juice. “Bad for my stomach. Lucky for you, Royce, I have to concentrate on tonight, but later I will be asking you if you plan to treat Jessy right this time. I can’t have you messing with my little sister.”
“Yeah, I agree with Blake,” Gabe added with a laugh, even though he had no idea what Blake was talking about. He must have had a good night with the guys, since he looked to be in an upbeat mood. Jessy threw her napkin at Gabe but he caught it and threw it at Blake for starting something.
“Boys,” Jessy muttered playfully.
“Children, please,” Jared chided, but he was too happy to sound grouchy. He reached out and grabbed Lucia’s hand, kissing her knuckles. “I have way too many children. I’m sorry.”
Lucia laughed and pointed at Jessy and Gabe. “You two will be grounded and miss tonight’s fight if I see any more napkins flying in the air.”
The whole table laughed and her dad kissed Lucia right there in front of everyone.
Jessy heard Gabe mutter gross, but he looked happy to see his mom looking so happy. Jessy guessed he was as thr
illed with the turnout as she was. Maybe she would be getting a little brother after all, even if he was almost an adult.
Jessy and Lucia spent the day at the spa getting pampered. They decided to pick out their dresses from the boutique inside the hotel. It was too hot to go outside and wander around the shops.
“You don’t mind about me and your dad being together?” Lucia asked seriously when they had a break. They were sitting in the hotel café, relaxing for a moment.
“No. I had hoped it would happen when I invited you to cook for us,” Jessy assured her. “My dad has been alone for too long, Lucia, and I know you have too. I am so thrilled and I know we’ll be good friends.”
“We already are, Jessy,” Lucia agreed with relief showing on her face. “I was worried about Gabriel’s reaction but he assured me he was ‘cool’ with the idea.”
They went up to the suite to get ready. The men had been busy all day getting Blake ready for tonight’s event, leaving Jessy and Lucia alone for the day. Jessy was glad to have company and do some girly activities. Usually she hung out with her dad and Tom because she didn’t want to spend the day alone.
Lucia came out dressed in a short-sleeved silk gold gown that passed her knees. Her hair was clipped up and out of the way. She looked elegant and classy and her smile showed how happy she was. Her tan skin glowed.
“You look amazing, Lucia. My dad is going to faint.” Jessy giggled.
“You look great too, Jessy.”
Jessy looked in the mirror. Her dress was short and forest green. It matched her eyes. It was cut low but she felt sexy in it and hoped Royce liked it, too. She added black heels and sprayed her wrists with perfume. She curled her hair and left it loose. “I am always so nervous before a fight.”
“I must admit I feel butterflies in my stomach. I like Blake and want him to win. If Gabe is ever in the ring I probably won’t be able to function,” Lucia admitted.
Jessy hooked her arm through Lucia’s as they left the suite. “I know what you mean. Adam, Sam, and Jackson will sit with us. My dad said he wanted Gabe to see what goes on behind the scenes, too.”
“I am so lucky your father is such a kind man,” Lucia mentioned.
“He wanted lots of kids, but my mom was sick,” Jessy said sadly. She shook her sad thoughts away. She didn’t want to feel sadness, not when her future finally looked bright.
“But now he has you and Gabe. I would like Gabe to be my brother.” Jessy nudged Lucia playfully as they waited for the elevator.
“Is that a hint that I should propose to your father?” Lucia laughed joyfully, but she didn’t oppose the notion, so that gave Jessy hope.
“Yes. If we wait for the men to do it we could be waiting forever.” Jessy laughed and got in the elevator. She pushed the button for the ground floor.
“Do you see marriage for you and Royce?” Lucia asked with curiosity. “Your dad was worried when he found Royce’s note but I reminded him you were an adult. Besides, Royce seems like a good man. I watch him with my son and see how encouraging he is.”
“He is a good person. He was hurt once and he wasn’t sure he wanted to be in a relationship again. It hurt my feelings because I was in love with him. Now he is ready to try. I love him but I want to make sure he loves me too before we take that step.” He said he loved her but she felt scared he would end up regretting it and get bored. He already had said ties and roots were not for him. He changed his mind when she was shot, so it worried her his feelings were out of guilt.
The elevator door opened and Royce was waiting for her. He wore jeans and a team shirt. His eyes widened and she could see them glaze with desire. Just what she wanted to see. She winked at him and stepped out of the elevator.
“Jessy, you take my breath away,” he whispered, kissing her cheek. He turned to Lucia. “You look amazing, Lucia. I am to escort you to your seats. Jared said he will come and see you in a minute.”
Lucia walked ahead of them and Royce took the opportunity to nibble on her neck. “I can’t wait to peel that dress off of you and see what is underneath.”
“What if I say nothing?” she teased, and heard him mutter under his breath.
“You are a tease. This fight better not last all night or I’ll kick Blake’s ass myself,” he said in a low voice so he wouldn’t be heard except by Jessy.
They were seated close to the front. Gabe whistled when he spotted his mom. “Wow, Mom. You look like a movie star.”
“Thanks, son.” She beamed and sat down next to him.
Adam, Jackson, and Sam all complimented her too, and Jessy cleared her throat. Was she invisible or what?
“You look great, Jess,” Adam said with a shrug. “But we can’t check you out or Royce will hurt us in the ring. He warned me and Jackson already.”
Jackson laughed, pushing his shaggy blond hair out of the way. It was long and touched his shoulders. “I made the mistake of telling him you looked hot and he glared at me something fierce. I was scared, Jessy, so forgive me if we don’t notice how sexy you look right about now.”
Jessy rolled her eyes and sat down next to Lucia who was trying not to laugh.
Royce chuckled when she rolled her eyes. “That’s right. Sam and Blake are like her brothers or I’d give them the same warning.”
“If Blake wins I better be the only man you kiss,” he whispered in her ear before leaving.
So he did see that kiss she shared with Martin. She gave him a happy smile. “Of course, darling. I will wait for you.”
“Man, Jessy. He has it bad for you. I hope it’s not contagious.” Sam shuddered dramatically. “Jared and Royce fall, all in one weekend. Bad news for us men.”
“I do,” Adam said glancing around, clearly looking for someone. “Destiny said she would be here too.”
“She is probably in the press box,” Jessy told him. “After the fight I’ll go get her to interview Blake.”
“Thanks, Jess.” Jessy could see how infatuated he was with the young girl and she could only hope it worked out for him. He was so kind and he didn’t deserve to have his heart broken.
The lights dimmed low, signaling the fight was starting. The spotlight was aimed toward the first contestant, Blake’s opponent.
A few minutes later a different song came on and Blake was announced as he entered the ring. Jessy could hardly sit still. No matter how many fights she saw she was nervous for the guys. She wanted them all to do well but she was as close to Blake as any brother or sister and she knew he needed this to feel good inside. His rough treatment in his childhood had erased his self-confidence. When he didn’t win he sulked for days.
“It’s a violent sport, Lucia, but they train for this.” Jessy felt a little worried. Lucia wasn’t used to seeing this. She had said she had never even watched it on TV.
“It’s okay, Jessy. Your father prepared me.” She smiled. “Do not tell him but if it gets too bloody I will close my eyes and send up a prayer for Blake.”
Adam heard her and laughed. “My mom saw me fight not too long ago for the first time. At first she could barely stand to watch then the excitement of the crowd caught on and she was yelling and cheering with the rest of them.”
The bell indicating it was about to start rang and their eyes were glued to the ring. Blake threw the first punch and from there it was an all-out tough fight with neither man backing down. The first round ended and Jessy asked Adam what he thought.
“I hate to say it but point wise I think Slade took that round.” Jessy’s heart sank and she crossed her fingers, sending positive thoughts toward Blake.
The second-round bell rang and once again it was a brutal fight. She heard Lucia groan a few times. They were close enough to see the men’s faces as they fought, each one determined to win.
Chapter 22
“I think Blake took that one.” Adam sounded relieved. Sam and Jackson were discussing strategy.
Jessy sighed and waited on pins and needles for the third round to start. She knew
Blake had got some good hits and she hoped it was enough for him to win. It would be a tough call. Slade was a tough fighter.
They waited for the judges to decide. She held Lucia’s hand nervously.
The referee finally declared Blake the winner by only two points. They stood up and cheered for him and made their way to the locker room. Jessy threw herself at Royce and kissed him. Royce kissed her until she was dizzy and had to hold on to him. She laughed and made her way over to Blake, who was already surrounded by well-wishers.
She hugged Blake. He had put a robe on and was sitting on the table. His left eye was swelling and the doctor was coming to look at it. “You did it, Rage.”
He smiled, hugging her tightly. He didn’t look as happy as he should be. “I could have done better, but at least I won.”
Jared patted him on the back. “No more groupies for you, son. More hard workouts. I’m telling Tom and Royce to make sure you are too tired to party for a long time.”
Blake groaned but agreed. Tom looked happy and was rubbing his hands with glee, making them all laugh.
Jared pulled Lucia close to him and whispered in her ear. She laughed and nodded and Jessy was confident those two were good.
* * * *
Jessy wasn’t sure who was more shocked, her or Royce, to see his ex-girlfriend standing before them. After he had told her about Trina she had googled old newspaper stories and saw a few pictures of him with Trina, so Jessy recognized her right away.
They had left the party early to go to their room. He claimed he had to see what was underneath her dress or he would go crazy. They were standing there waiting for the elevator when she walked up to them.
Trina was small and thin, with short spiky red hair. She ignored Jessy completely and gave Royce a sultry smile. Jessy rolled her eyes. Trina was wearing a tight, short black dress and heels with lots of gold jewelry.
“You’re looking good, Royce. I hear through the grapevine you got yourself a cushy job in LA.” She stepped closer and ran her hand up his chest. Royce pushed her hand away and that made Jessy feel a little less territorial.
