#Chapter7
After we finished, he helped me out of my cuffs and my blindfold. I looked at him. “I want you to meet my friends.” I didn’t know why I made that decision right then, but I knew that I wanted it to happen. He wouldn’t be anything but a fling if he never met my friends.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because I want to show you off a little,” I told him. I knew that it was kind of a lie, but I wasn’t going to tell him the real reason yet. I just didn’t know how to say it to him.
“Where do you want me to meet them?” He asked, obviously agreeing.
“There’s a place near mine. We can meet them after work today.” I didn’t know if he would like the club or not. “My friends and I hang out there all the time.”
“Do you have to go home today?” He asked me his mind obviously elsewhere.
“Yeah, I have to get some work done.”
He looked disappointed. “I couldn’t keep you in bed all day?” He asked me.
“No. I have to get some work done. We will get together tonight though.” Somehow I thought the heartbreak from us having to split up would be easier if we didn’t spend every day together. On the plus side, I really did need to get work done. I didn’t have someone to cover for me. I was self-employed, with no one under me.
He sighed and ordered me a car. He didn’t seem to want me to go, but he understood that I had to get some work done. I took the walk of shame out of the hotel in last night’s dress. I didn’t feel ashamed though, I was still high on the excitement of this amazing man. I didn’t know what to do about it, but I felt like singing.
I got home and called my friends. After I gave them every detail I asked if they would like to meet him. They agreed to meet me at the club that night.
I got through some work before my phone vibrated next to me. Checking it, I recognized the number. It was John. I ignored the text and continued to get work done. It took me several hours to try to look like I was working today. I just couldn’t concentrate on the websites I was being asked to build. I needed to get this bookstore done for an author called Lena Skye. Her livelihood was being heavily taxed by the fees from the store she had with a popular online retailer. I had promised it to her by the end of the week and I hadn’t even started on it yet. I got a lot of work done before it was time to meet everyone at the club. I had arranged for everyone to meet at my place and we would leave from there.
I realized after I was done with my shower that I hadn’t missed John at all that day. I was just annoyed by his text. Didn’t he have that other woman to bother? Why does he have to hassle me? I just don’t get it. I found my outfit and put it on. It was a pretty silver sheath style dress with red heels .I carried a red clutch with it. I looked in the mirror and thought I looked good. Maybe not my best but good.
Moments after I put my second shoe on I heard the buzzer. I rushed to the door and let my friends up. The three of them rushed into my apartment, the twins were fighting to see who got into the door first. They looked at my outfit and decided that it wasn’t right.
“Oh no, you have to change.” Ada told me.
“No, I’m fine.” I looked at Cathy. Cathy shook her head disapprovingly. “I guess I might have to change.” Cathy’s job was making people look good; she was the best to do it. Cathy walked back to my bedroom and she quickly changed my shoes and purse. After we were done, William called and told me he was stuck in traffic and would be late. We agreed to meet at the club and I gave his driver directions.
I was a little disappointed by this situation. I was hoping that my best friends would be able to meet him in my apartment, where it was a little quieter.
The girls got me talking as we left our apartment. I was forced into repeating all of the details that I had already told them, but they were just begging for more. They giggled with me about the rubber confusion. That joke would carry on for years.
“Should we wait outside?” Cathy asked when we got to the club.
“I don’t know.” I wasn’t sure what he was expecting.
“Call him.” Ada told me. “It’s a little chilly out here and I didn’t bring a jacket. Flipping out my phone I called him and told him that we would be waiting in the club for him.
We got into the club and found a table that would fit all five of us easily.
“What can we expect?” Andrea asked me.
“He’s hard to describe, but he’s very nice.” I was doing my best to think of the best adjectives to describe this amazing man that had taken me on a whirlwind romance and brought out the heights of ecstasy.
“Nice?’ Ada chimed in.
“Yeah, he’s kind of polite and proper.” I was having trouble explaining his personality.
“Boring!” The twins intoned in unison.
“He’s not a boring guy.” I defended him. “He’s nice and dangerous at the same time. You can trust him, but he doesn’t seem to want to get to close.”
“Huh?” Cathy asked.
“He’s just very different than anyone else I’ve dated.”
“His accent?” Ada asked.
“Yes, that, and the fact that he’s white.” I lowered my voice to a whisper at the end of the statement. I don’t know why I felt like I needed to do it, but I did.
“You’re dating a white guy?” The twins squealed loudly.
“You’ve never dated a white guy before.” Ada told me. She was obviously shocked. It was true, I had never dated a white guy.
“When you were talking about dating someone different, I didn’t know it would be that different.” Andrea was cutting her sister off, but neither of them seemed to notice during this conversation.
“I know right.” I giggled with the girls.
“Do you think he’s the one?” Ada asked. You could always trust her to bring out the thought of love that early.
The scary thing was, I thought he might be, but it was a bit early. “No, probably not.”
Ada was perking up even more than she was before. “But there’s a chance right?”
“He’s leaving at the end of the week. I probably won’t have a chance to know.” I was starting to feel a little upset thinking about it. I knew that I would have liked to get to know him better. I would have loved to get a chance to really love him. I don’t know where this would have gone if he would have loved me.
**
He arrived after we had been there for almost half an hour. The place was hopping. The bass was thumping and everyone was in a great mood. He sneaked up on me and whispered in my ear, “How are you doing, love?”
I jumped a bit and then realized who was speaking to me. “Hey, muffin!” I was so excited I jumped up and hugged him immediately. I turned to my friends, “this is William.”
The twins were super excited and started asking question after question. It was hard to tell which one was asking what. Their words were jumbling over each other and fighting for the spotlight. “What do you do for a living?”
“How much money do you make in a year?”
“What are your hobbies?”
“What’s it like living in England?”
“Is driving funny here?”
“What kind of music do you like?”
“Are you related to the queen?”
“Is it true that a rubber means an eraser where you’re from?”
“Have you ever gone punting on the Thames?”
The questions just kept coming.
These were just the ones I could understand. Underneath and around these ones were countless others that I could only catch a few words from. My lover just laughed. “I don’t know which one to answer first. One at a time please.”
He answered every question as calmly and quickly as possible. My friends learned a lot of things about him. By the end of it he was sitting at the table. “Oh, I love this song!” I shouted and grabbed his hand. We headed out to the floor, I was dragging him behind me.
I was really working it on the dance floor. He was
too; we were gyrating together for a long time. It was sexy and free. After the first song stopped thumping I looked at my date. He looked so out of place here, yet he appeared so comfortable.
“Do you like Nicki Minaj?” I asked.
“I love her.” He told me smiling.
“I didn’t think that you would?” My curiosity was overwhelming. Not only was this man incredibly handsome, he seemed to be built just for me. The way he moved across the dance floor was almost hypnotic. This man had complete control over his body, and to be honest, he had complete control over mine every night.
We continued to dance as time passed. We were really enjoying ourselves. The music was jumping and the floor was crowded with happy people dancing. This man, while he stood out in a place like this, really held his own. I was enjoying myself when I heard a familiar voice shout, “Hey, girl.”
I immediately recognized the voice. I couldn’t believe it was him. I didn’t want to turn around, but now my new lover was looking at me because I tensed up and stopped dancing at the sound. “What’s wrong, love?” He asked me.
“Nothing.” I tried to ignore it.
“Hey, baby.” There he was again, I could hear him getting closer, and I knew that he had to be pushing through the huge crowd. This was bad, so incredibly bad. I couldn’t believe that he was here too. He never brought me here, so I thought that I was safe from running into him. There he was, however, in the flesh with his boys right behind him. He pretended to be this tough street guy, but the truth was he had a good job and grew up on the right side of the tracks.
I turned around to face him. He was smiling at me, that same infuriating smile that had charmed me before. I clenched my fists and asked him. “What?”
“What are you doing, baby? You haven’t returned my calls.” He was so sure of himself. His muscles shined with sweat from dancing.
A part of me wanted to punch him in his arrogant mouth, but I restrained myself. “I’ve been busy.”
“Hello.” My date tried to introduce himself.
“Baby, I was trying to call you.” He was blatantly ignoring my date.
“I know.” This was the last thing I wanted. My ex-boyfriend was coming up to me when I was with my new lover. I don’t know why I felt embarrassed.
“I wanted to say that I broke up with Tiffany.” He grinned at me harder, if that was even possible. “I’m back, baby.”
I didn’t quite understand what he was saying at first. When it finally registered I was struck by a sick stomach and a feeling of revulsion. “Not with me.”
“What do you mean, baby? We were so good together.”
“Yeah, until you screwed it up.”
“Excuse me.” William tried to butt in, but was ignored again.
“It was a mistake, baby.” He was trying to smooth-talk me. The problem was, that unlike all of the other times, it wasn’t working now.
“What happened did she leave you?” I baited him. I knew what I was doing, but I wanted to wipe that smug smile off his face.
His grin disappeared. “No, baby, I left her for you.” He was trying to back pedal out of the corner he had gotten himself into.
“I don’t want anything to do with you.”
“Why not, baby? We were so good together. You’ll never meet another guy like me.”
“Oh God, I hope not.”
“You’re here alone anyway, let’s dance.” He was still blatantly ignoring my date.
William squeezed around me until he was next to John. He calmly sized him up, looking up and down his body and tapped him on the shoulder. “Excuse me, she’s with me.” He was so calm about this. He didn’t appear to be intimidated or scared of the monster of a man in front of him.
John turned to my new lover. “Doesn’t matter, you won’t last long. You’re kind can’t handle black women.” He reached out and grabbed my arm. “Don’t worry, baby, you’ll be with a real man again.” He told me, with that arrogant grin back on his face.
“Stop it.” I was trying to fight him. “You bastard! I don’t want to be with you anymore. You’re a useless bastard. Let me go.” I slapped him.
My lover stepped up. Even though John was a head taller and a foot wider than my English date, William was unafraid. “Let her go.” He spoke with an unshakable tone.
“What are you going to do about it, little man?” John sneered and spat as he spoke.
William wiped the spittle from his face. He still didn’t show a lot of emotion. “I will make you let her go. This is your chance to step away from the lady.”
“This bitch ain’t no lady.” John scoffed at him.
An emotion finally crossed my lovers face. What I saw was rage. He had been pushed far enough and was finished with this encounter. His fist balls up and John laughs at him. “You can’t hurt me.”
William didn’t say a word. He reared back and uppercut John. John let go of my arm and stood there in shock looking at my lover. His friends started to close on my lover and knew that this was going to end in a fight.
There was no way that we could stand up to all five of the men. He was more then out numbered.
As we say in America, they would “kick his ass”.
#Chapter8
“Apparently I am girlfriend material.”
William
I grabbed William’s arm. He seemed like he wanted to stay and stand up for himself, but then the gravity of the situation dawned on him. We rushed out of the club and I didn’t see my friends. Once we got out of the door I pulled my smart phone out of my purse. “Call Ada.” I told it.
“Hey, girl, how’s it going?” She asked me.
“Are you guys still in the club?” I asked, slightly breathless from running out of the club.
“Yeah, what’s up?” She asked.
“We had to leave.”
“What, why?” The shock was clear in her voice.
“John showed up, he caused some trouble and William punched him.” I hung up right after and ignored the next vibrations that rung out of my phone. I knew that I left Ada in suspense, and I kind of did it on purpose.
I turned to John. “That was amazing.”
He smiled. “I’m glad you’re not with him anymore. He doesn’t seem like a very nice bloke.”
“I found that out to late.” I tried to explain. I turned to see John and his posse coming out of the club. I grabbed William, “We should get moving, before they spot us.”
We rushed into an alleyway a block away from the club. We waited a few moments to see if we were being followed. I wanted to kiss him so bad, but I knew immediately where that would lead. “Is everything alright?” William asked.
“Yeah, I just want to kiss you right now.”
“What’s stopping you?” He asked me.
“I don’t know.” I was teasing and I knew that I was, but I didn’t care. “That was amazing.”
“What was amazing?”
“What you did in there.”
“You mean when I acted like a brute?”
“Yeah.” The thought of him fighting for me was getting me a little hot.
“Why would that impress you? I do not usually do things like that but he really got to me..”
“I don’t know, it was just incredibly hot.” I thought about it. “I know that fighting shouldn’t turn me on, but you were defending me. Does that make any sense?”
“I think so.” He moved in and kissed me.
My body responded to his immediately. I wanted him so bad. Here we were in a dirty alley making out like teenagers. “I want you.” I told him.
He groaned into my ear and put his hand on my hip. He felt down to the edge of my skirt and slipped his hand up it and onto my butt. My skirt wasn’t that long anyway. “This dress has been driving me crazy all night long.” He whispered in my ear.
I pulled his shirt out of his pants and put my hands around his waist. His skin was hot to the touch as I slipped my hands under his shirt. His other hand slipped onto my other butt
check. He pushed himself against me and I could feel him hard and throbbing against my stomach.
My hands reached down to touch him. He jerked and inhaled sharply as my fingers traced him through his pants. He reached up to my waist and grabbed my panties. He slipped them off of my hips and they fell to the ground. I stepped out of my panties and continued to kiss him.
I unzipped his pants and reached into my purse. He was rock hard and poking me in the stomach. This was a clumsy movement because we never stopped making out. I ripped open the condom package and slid it over his manhood. He moaned as I touched his bare skin.
William pushed me against a wall and pinned me to it. We were still kissing. He lifted me with ease and braced me onto the wall. My legs were balanced over his hips and he was poised at my lower lips. I couldn’t believe that he was going to take me like this. I had never done anything like this before and was having second thoughts for a second.
“Something wrong, love?” He asked me. “Do you want me to stop?”
It was in that moment that I made up my mind. This was going to happen, right here in this dirty alleyway. I was going to make love to this man in public. I felt so naughty and yet, it was amazing. I felt free. “Nothing’s wrong baby.” I whispered in his ear. “I want you now.”
My words spurred him on. He thrust into me like a starving man in a all-you-can-eat buffet. He was sucking on my neck and pounding me like a jackhammer. I started to bite my lip because I wanted to scream out in ecstasy. I was grunting with every thrust he pushed into me. It didn’t take long for me to want to come. I put my face into his shoulder to muffle the noises I was making as my body rode the waves of pleasure he was sending through my body. It seemed like my orgasm was never going to end. Wave after wave crashed over me. It felt like there was a hurricane happening in that alleyway. The force of it radiated from my body. He continued to thrust into me as I soaked the front of his pants with my juices.
