“You okay, Mia? You look a little pale,” Petal asked and Mia turned and walked toward the door.
“I’m fine, just remembered...I got to talk with someone,” she said and was out the door before anyone of us could ask her who.
“Probably that fighter,” Fiona said absently as she watched the moms help the women into their dresses.
“Xavier?” I asked.
“I think so. Ma was talking with him and snagged me going by, then the woman walks off. Yeah, like you would have to be stupid to not know what she was doing. Anyway, I smiled at him and was going to apologize for my mother when Mia hip checked me and pulled me away from him before I could get anything out of my mouth. When I looked over my shoulder, the man was laughing,” Fiona said and laughed herself. “Maybe Mia is starting to take after the mothers. Honest to God, I don’t know how we came out so normal with parents like ours.”
Britt, Angelique, Petal, and I looked at each other and burst out laughing and Maria glared at us.
“Laugh all you want, they have their hooks in you, and there is no place to run. And that is the mothers, I won’t scare you with the dads. Let’s just say, you never see them coming until it is too late and you are doing exactly what they wanted you to, and with a smile and you’re all happy and shit.” When we glared back at her, Maria chuckled, then pointed over her shoulder. “Look at your friends. They are smiling, laughing, enjoying their wedding day.”
“So, they should be, it is their wedding,” Petal said and Maria full out laughed and Fiona joined her. Maria leaned in.
“And whose idea was the wedding, sweetie?”
“Well shit.” Petal looked at me and I shrugged. Maria nailed it.
“I have no intention of getting caught up in the web of these families. I will stand on the sidelines and just enjoy the game,” Britt said and looked at Angelique. “Want to go get something to drink before the wedding starts?” Angelique nodded and as they walked off, we heard Angelique speak to Britt.
“I’m with you. I don’t think I could deal with any of these men. They are much too arrogant for my liking.”
“Don’t I know it,” Britt answered and they walked out of the bedroom.
Maria turned back to us and we all laughed.
“Do they really think they are going to get a choice?” Maria asked and then answered her own question. “Delusional women! But it will be fun to watch. Let’s go down, make sure everything is place. It will start soon.”
I stood and so did Petal and the four of us gave a wave to the brides-to-be and left. I totally planned on finding Falon. I’d only been away from him a couple hours and I missed him.
“Is this seat taken?” Lips touched my neck and I tilted my head to the side.
“No, my man friend can’t be found so his loss,” I giggled when Falon bit down on my neck, then walked around the edge and sat in the chair beside me.
“You think you are funny, but as soon as I can get you out of here, we are going to the house and I am going to sink my cock so deep that you will agree to anything,” he whispered and pulled a piece a paper out of his pocket and handed it to me.
“What is it?” I asked.
“A little something to show you that you mean the world to me and that I would do anything to protect you.” When he didn’t say anything I unfolded the paper and stared at it, then at him and back at the paper.
“What do you get from this?”
“Baby, I told you. I get to sink deep inside your pussy and I can’t wait because I have never gone without a condom and I want to experience your warm, wet heat wrapped tight around my dick.”
Well, damn. I wished the wedding would start and be over so we could leave. I fanned myself with the paper and Falon grinned. He was such an asshole. But he was mine.
“You know I question my sanity because I think STD testing is the sweetest thing you could give me, right?”
“Yep, but don’t worry, I’m sure the others question your sanity too.” I handed him back the paper to put away but not before I popped him with it and he laughed.
“Be serious, where were you at? I looked for you when I came down but the only men out here were Reilly, your uncle, and by the way when him and your dad are side by side it is freaky and a little scary that they look exactly like each other.”
“They are twins, Mel.”
“Jackass, even with identical twins there is something you can find that would make it possible to tell them apart, but there is nothing. Anyway, they were here, your uncle Sal, and Cain, which is another weird thing, calling the judge by his first name. Then the boys, Josh, Brant, and Rucker. I thought the men were already dressed, were they not?”
“Damn, you don’t miss shit, do you?” he chuckled when I sneered. “They were, but we went downstairs to the family room because Michael and Reese wanted to talk to us about Conrad calling Zoey this morning.”
“Well he is sorta her boss,” I said and lifted a brow.
“Keep it up, going to spank that ass. Michael said he called about a form that gets signed when someone turns in a kid they need to pull from a household or do a check on. Remember the ones that Zoey and the others found without signatures and the files they were missing from belonged to the kids that kept coming up dead?” When I nodded he continued, “Lt. Reynolds from the 48th called him and told him that she needed him to either pull or check on a kid whose mother showed up at a clinic with a broken leg, beat up face, and strung out. The clinic was in the 48th jurisdiction so they got the call.”
“Oh my God, the woman I beat the shit out of has a kid?” And Falon’s eyes softened.
“Do not feel bad. The woman chose to use drugs, she chose to involve herself in criminal activity, knowing she had a kid. You can’t take on guilt that should be hers.”
“You’re right, but don’t get used to me saying that,” I said and he smiled.
“Never.”
“So what does that mean with the stuff we are dealing with?”
“Conrad said that Lt. Reynolds was really helpful. That he almost forgot to get the form and she reminded him. He called because he was out and didn’t know where anymore were. Lt. Reynolds told him those forms would come in handy if a parent wanted to fight DSS about taking their kid. The forms have to be signed from either a cop or someone in a position such as a government run daycare, shit like that. For us, it means we are on the right track about it being someone in one of the police departments, that is why the names were missing off those certain forms. They didn’t want it traced back to them.”
“Good point, anyone going to follow up on that? Did Tony or Jet say?” I asked.
“Jet is going to see if they can see if the kids all fell under one precinct or not. I have a feeling that would be way too easy.”
“Rumor has it you are easy, cousin.” I looked up at the man who spoke and stood directly behind us.
“Kian, I’m as easy as they come. How do you think this one caught me,” Falon said and laughed as the two men shook hands. “Mel, have you met my cousin, Kian, from Chicago. Fi’s his younger sister.”
“Yeah,” I said and couldn’t help but laugh when Falon frowned.
“You guys have started something falling one by one, making babies. Shit, man. I met her because my ma spotted her and dragged me over to her. Introduced her and I and told Mel here that I was single, straight, and a fireman. Thank God Mel thought it was cute because it was damned embarrassing. Only consolation is it was better than Fiona. Dad grabbed her when she was walking by that FBI agent. Sorry, met so many damn people I can’t remember their names. Anyway, grabbed Fi, introduced the guy to her, told the poor agent that Fiona had problems keeping a man and probably needed one with a firm hand, then Dad introduced him to Mom, Aunt Milana, and Uncle Sal. Between them, they now know everything about the man,” Kian said and shook his head.
“Well, I wouldn’t worry too much. Maybe they will forget by the time you guys head back and Fi won’t have to worry about Thad
once she leaves either,” Falon said and Kian grinned and it lit up his face.
“Cuz, that is the part that is funny. You know how Fi is, well, the more she was rude to the poor guy, the bigger his smile became, he liked the shit, and then Fi throws out that he could be all happy because they lived in different states.”
“She’s right,” I said.
“Yeah, he said that he agreed they lived in different states for now, but that wouldn’t always be the case. Evidently when the shit he is working on is over, they are transferring him to the Chicago office.” We didn’t know Agent Briggs was getting relocated but I could only imagine Fi’s response. I’d known her just a matter of hours and I could tell she was a take no shit type.
Everyone around us started taking seats and Kian sat down with us. Falon grabbed my hand and we watched Fin and Tony take their places on the right of Judge Sanders who would be marrying each couple and then for Brook and Fin, and Zoey and Michael, he would witness the commitment contracts Maria had drawn up and the couples would say a few words to each other. Christ, I couldn’t imagine having to keep two men happy.
Michael and Reese took their places to the left and Bear stood alone in the middle. The mothers had hired a great decorator and the yard was dressed out into a beautiful place for a wedding or weddings to be held.
Reilly had insisted that they hire a caterer too. Using the excuse that the mothers should be able to enjoy the children’s weddings without having to worry if the guests had enough food. The moms had easily given in and would be enjoying the wedding. I watched the three women walk to the front, hug the grooms-to-be, and then take their seats. The mothers had even found a photographer on short notice.
I smiled and wondered if there was anything they couldn’t do. If there was, I hadn’t seen it.
“What are you smiling at, baby?” Falon leaned over and whispered.
“The moms, they are in their element.” Falon chuckled.
“Yeah they are,” he answered and let go of my hand to place his arm around me and pull me close. “Is this what you would want?” he asked and I looked up at him. Crap, was he thinking of us doing this. I looked around at all the family and friends gathered in the backyard and I didn’t think I could stand up in front of everyone, I thought it might be more attention than I could handle.
“No, simple, that is me,” I answered and Falon kissed the top of my head.
With everyone in their seats, it wasn’t long and the music started, the first person we saw was Rucker, he carried the pillow with all the rings on it set exactly on the pillow to match where they stood and each held in place with a ribbon of a different color so no mistakes would be made. Everything had been thought of.
I couldn’t help but smile when the wedding march started and Anthony Sr. walked out with Bob on his arm. The smile on his face said it all. He walked Bob up the aisle, hand her off to Bear, and then sat by his wife.
Falon squeezed me to him when his dad stepped out with Zoey to his left and Brooklyn on his right. His smile stretched across his face and I swear the twinkle in his eyes would have lit the darkest of rooms. When they reached the front, he handed the women off to their grooms, then patted each man on the back before taking his place beside Olivia.
The judge started the nuptials as soon as the group turned toward him. The I’s and do’s were said, then Brooklyn and Zoey turned to Fin and Michael and spoke from their hearts on what the commitment vows meant.
“Your parents aren’t upset that Fin nor Michael aren’t the spouses by law?” I asked in a whisper.
“No, Reese is the only one to carry on the Macaroy name and Tony is the only boy in his family. That’s why they are going to all change their names to the hyphened names. Plus, Dad said he had four other sons to go. Bry will marry Petal, but they are going to use the hyphened name, Reed is going to change his to O’Malley. You know his story, said he didn’t want to carry the name so he wasn’t going to burden Bry and Petal with it.”
“Damn.” It was all I could say.
When it was said and done, the couples sealed it with a kiss and cheers were yelled out. I looked at the mothers and there was one with dry eyes, hell, Reilly and Anthony Sr. didn’t have any either.
The couples were introduced and then the party started. Let’s just say—O’Malley style.
By the time we ate, watched the couples cut the cake and shove it in each other’s mouths, the dancing commenced. And Falon moved on a dance floor like he did making loving in a bed. At one point, when his placed his thigh between my legs while we moved, I thought I was going to have an orgasm from the friction between the material rubbing on my clit. His chuckle told me he knew.
“You ready to take this home?” he asked and I was. I body was achy from the fight and I wanted to curl up with Falon and let him take the pain away.
“Yes. Do you think we can get out of here without too much trouble since everyone is still going strong?”
“Sure do.” He grabbed my hand and led me through the people on the dance floor until we came to the table where his dad was sitting with Anthony Sr.
“We are out of here. I’m taking Mel home to have wild monkey sex, think anyone will have a problem with that?” My mouth fell open and I smacked his arm.
“Have you lost your ever loving mind?” I asked and Reilly and Anthony Sr. hit the table and started laughing.
“Have at it, son. Plan to do the same with your mother if I can clear these people out of here,” Reilly said and Anthony agreed.
Falon pulled me away and we were in the car headed to the house before I noticed my mouth was still wide opened.
“What the hell was that?”
“That, sweetheart, was my dad and Anthony Sr. after drinking Irish Whiskey. And what is wonderful, they won’t remember us saying a damn thing. So they sure won’t remember saying that to us.” Falon chuckled and pulled the car into the driveway.
“But that doesn’t help us forget he said it,” I said as Falon helped me out of the car and led me to the door. He opened it and we walked in and he activated the alarm.
“Nope, that is the only drawback in giving them the good stuff,” he said and stalked toward me. “Now, we are home, I am horny from dancing with you and decided that since you make me hard just by breathing, you should quit your job and be available to for sex at anytime.” He stopped in front of me and looked down.
“Umm... I’m not quitting my job,” I said and he smiled.
“So you are agreeing to be my sex slave though?”
“No, not that either!” The man could be frustrating.
“Well, how about, yes, I will marry you?”
“Did you drink Irish Whiskey?” I asked because he had to be joking.
“No, I swear.” He placed his hand over his heart and looked at me. I saw the seriousness in them.
“Falon, we’ve only been together a few weeks.”
“Mel, other than no sex, everything we’ve said and done since you walked into Fin’s gym, led us here.”
I just stared at him. I didn’t want to blow what we had together by rushing into anything.
“You know you want to, let’s not make this a fight. Just say ‘Yes, Falon, I will marry you and be your love slave’.” He grinned down at me. How in the hell did I ever fall in love with a man who was so full of shit? Well, at least it was going to be interesting, that was for sure.
I frowned, playing with him was fun as well, “I don’t think…”
“Baby, don’t think,” he whispered and when I felt his hands lift my dress and slip into my panties, then push between my folds without hesitation, I wanted to scream. He knew right where to go to make me do anything he wanted. My God he knows where to touch me, the bastard, as I arched a little to make him go where I wanted him. I could feel my juices already flowing, making my panties wet. I arched against him and groaned, “Yes.”
“That’s what I thought,” he said and then bent his head and sucked my nipple through my dress. I pul
led at his shirt until it is gone and tossed it on the floor next to us. Soon my dress and the rest of our clothes joined the shirt and we were naked and writhing on the floor together, each trying to get the upper hand. God, I loved him. Being his woman was something I never thought I would crave, but I did.
I rolled on top of him and kissed him hungrily, trying to convey my feelings for him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer so my breasts were pressed against his chest. I loved how the soft hair tickled my breasts. Hell, I loved everything about him, fuck, I was a goner.
Falon won the battle and kissed his way down my body, taking time to make sure he paid attention to each of my breasts. Bastard, I was going to die from pleasure before he finally moved to his destination.
He nestled in between my thighs, lifting my legs over his shoulders, and put his hands under my bottom and raised me to his waiting mouth. His tongue hit my clit piercing and I screamed, it made me so sensitive, that now I knew what Petal meant about things were so much more with a piercing. I should have gotten this a long time ago, but damn, somehow I knew it was more the man that made it feel this good. He proceeded to make me forget about every ache and pain I had from the fight. Falon licked and sucked on my clit until I screamed so loudly that I was sure the neighbors could hear. He growled and then kissed his way up my body and I smiled at him when he reached my lips. Sexy.
“I’m gonna fuck you so good you’ll never want to leave,” he growled at me.
“Too late, buddy, you are stuck with me,” I whispered happily against his mouth.
Falon grinned and then slid inside of me. He slowly made love to me until I thought I was going to die from pleasure. Everything we did together felt right. I needed to share with all the emotions that were flowing from me; the pace he set was too slow. I needed more to make him crazy as well. I tried to make him move quicker, but he laughed and kissed me.
“Not going to rush me, baby. No condoms, you wrapped around my cock, hell, I may never leave.”
Then Falon reached between us and stroked my clit piercing until I was close to coming, then the asshole backed off again. After several times, until I was scratching at his back, begging him for a release, did he comply.
