The Diary of a Side Chick 6 (SCD) Page 25

by Tamicka Higgins

  We both laughed.

“Girl I know what I'm doing!” he said.

“Yea ok. So where we going? I guess I'm hanging with the fellas tonight,” I said.

“Uhh yea you can. I'm bout to meet up with the chick from the mall though. I don’t know what fellas you talking bout.” He always had something smart to say.

“I’m a lil tipsy, but I’m good. Just make sure don't nobody snatch me or no shit like that,” I said.

Tyshawn slid his hand under the seat, grabbed his pocket rocket and set it on the dash.

  “We good.”

“Oh my god. What the hell is that for!?” I asked.

  “In case shit get hectic.”

  “Mm mm mm.”

  “What?”

“Nothing. Just don’t kill anyone.” I shook my head.

Exiting the highway, he pulled into a gas station so I could pee. While he's waiting, Cash sends him a text. A text, not a call, a text. Fishy right? But he wasn't gonna jump the gun, he just wanted to play out the rest of his night.

  “Ok. Let's go.”

Cruising the city streets, sitting high, music loud, Tyshawn was feeling good. Megan had told him where to find her and that's just what he was about to do. He definitely wasn't about to park his car on the road or in an unattended parking area, so he paid the valet to park it and make sure nothing happened to it.

“Wait bro, hold my purse so I can tighten my shoe.” He didn't complain, just held her purse and her hand while she balanced to tighten her shoe.

“You good now? You want me to carry you?”

“Shut up and give me my bag.” We laughed.

We met up with Carlie and her friend at some lounge, as they were walking up, he could see a ‘who is that' type of look cross her face.

“What's up?” I said. Wondering if there was a problem.

  “Nah, we good.”

Carlie was looking fine as ever. She had on some short-ass shorts showing off her sexy legs, heels and a crop top. She smelled good too. She put her arms around his neck and said in his ear: “Where's her other half?”

“I don't know man. I ain’t heard from her all day.”

“And she trusts you in Miami?” she asked.

“Not my problem anymore,” he said.

  “I bet.”

  “You drinking?” he asked her.

“No and neither are you. You're too young.”

“My ID says otherwise.” He smiled when he said it.

He ran his hand across the exposed part of her stomach as he walked off to hit the bar. I had hit it off smooth with Carlie’s friend, so he didn't have to worry about me having a good time.

From the bar he waved to us, asking if we wanted anything. Me and Carlie’s friend thumbed up, Carlie shot him a bird. While he waited for the drinks, he spotted someone he thought was Sasha. Pretty sure it was, but soon as he got ready to step toward her, the bartender called out to him. After he paid, he looked to where the girl had been, but she was gone. Whatever, he knew they would link up again sooner or later.

“Where we going after this?” Carlie asked him.

“I thought you were showing me around?” Tyshawn asked.

“I thought I was too, but you seem to be familiar.” Carlie’s voice sounded flat.

Tyshawn looked at her like: what you talking ‘bout Willis!

“I saw that girl put her hand in your pants at the bar,” said Carlie.

  “Jealous?” he asked, teasingly.

She got real close to his face, so close that their lips were touching,

She grabbed his crotch and said, “No, but I am stingy about my time.”

  Chapter Ten

The line was nearly wrapped around the corner! Shit was packed and Carlie didn't wanna go in, but she was the one who said it didn’t matter where they went.

“By the time we get in here it'll be time to go.” She said.

Tyshawn made one phone call and the side door to the club swung open.

“Shawty!” a big guy greeted him.

“Big Dawg! What's popping my Nigga!” said Tyshawn.

Tyshawn was good friends with the main bouncer. He ran packs to him from time to time when big shad needed extra cash. Great business and they always remained close. Big Shad held the door open for us girls, while Tyshawn stood back grinning. Wearing a smile that she clearly didn't want on her face, Carlie grabbed his belt and pulled him behind her.

Big Shad dapped him up and let him know he was there if shit went sour. Shit was live though. Tyshawn looked back to make sure I was cool to play the field by myself for a while, but shit, he didn't need an answer to that question because I had already dipped with Carlie’s friend and was waving at him through the crowd. He made a phone with his hand signaling for me to call him when the night was over.

  “Come dance with me.”

Carlie is a feisty chick. She knows what she wants and she ain't scared to go and get it.

Carlie was so turned on by his dominant but gentle gesture, she had to clear her damn throat before she could repeat what she had said, which now became irrelevant. All she wanted to do was jump this niggas bone! After about 3 songs she decided she wanted a drink. She had to pee first, so she let him handle the drinks while the three of us went to the bathroom. Tyshawn called the bartender over to their V.I.P section, of course they knew each other. The girl had been the same girl who took care of him the last time, time before that and the time before that. She already knew what he wanted and he let her choose something hot for us girls. We didn't give a damn, we just wanted to be drunk.

Tyshawn checked his phone. Still nothing from Cash; he did have a text from an unknown number, though: ‘where u at’

He didn’t know who it was, so he ignored it.

After about five minutes, though, the texts started coming in like clockwork. Saying how we had it coming, they gonna rob us, we won’t make it back home alive. He went to big Shad and asked him if he recognized the number. Big Shad checked his phone and sure enough, he knew it. He knew everybody in Miami. He also knew what the Nigga looked like.

“Right over there. Green jacket.” He pointed across the room.

“Oh word? And that’s shorty right there! That’s my sister’s friend.” Said Tyshawn.

"Yo, she bugging kid. She came here with us and now she tryna set us up? Fuck outta here.” Tyshawn was clearly pissed.

“Be cool til the let out kid. You don’t wanna be boxed in here. I got you,” said Big Shad

That shit right there set Tyshawn off! Soon as he saw us coming from the bathroom this Nigga jumped over the banister of the V.I.P and rushed us. He grabbed me by the arm and pushed me back into a stall, Carlie and her home girl tried to grab him off of me but they weren't quick enough. He had already locked the door and left them outside banging and asking him what was wrong. He flashed his phone in my face and demanded to know what the fuck my friend was talking doing with the niggas planning to rob him. At first, I was scared. He had never gotten rough with me, but then I realized, I’m his damn sister!

“Bro chill! I’m you sister! You think I would run with this bitch if I knew she was dirty!? You know me!”

We could still hear Carlie at the door wondering what the fuck was going on.

  “Now, what niggas?” I asked.

“I don't know em. Shad pointed em out. Ya girl is over there all booed up with em right now.” Tyshawn nodded to where they were.

For a minute he stood there, staring at her with so much rage in his eyes. I knew he wanted to knock the bitch’s head in. I did too.

“She got me fucked up T. You already know I’m not letting her slide.”

Something about the calmness in his voice when he said that scared the shit out of me. When he finally snatched the door open, he didn't even look at Carlie, his focus was straight ahead and he just wanted to get the fuck out the club. Carlie tried holding on to his arm as she poked her head into the bathroom to see if I was ok. After seeing I was, she ra
n after him to see what the hell had happened.

“What happened Tyshawn?” He kept walking. He was pushing and bumping people out of his way as he went. He didn't care, he just wanted to get out.

“Tyshawn! Will you stop and talk to me? Tell me what the fuck is going on!” said Carlie.

She was apologizing to people on his behalf as she followed him out the door. She wasn't stopping until he told her something. Once they got outside, she yanked his arm so hard it spun him around. She put both her hands on his cheeks and yelled directly in his face:

“CALM THE FUCK DOWN AND TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!”

Before he could even form his words, he saw what looked like the dude driving a car towards him. There were two niggas in the back, Sasha in the front, and all of them had guns drawn.

Tyshawn grabbed Carlie at the rang of the first shot and ran towards the back of the club. Everybody started screaming! A bullet pierced his leg before they made it to the back, and tires screeched, fleeing the scene.

“Oh my god! Your leg!” Carlie gasped.

  “No shit!” said Tyshawn.

Big Shad came running up the sidewalk, yelling for him. He poked his head out to let him know where he was.

“Shit! Where you hit? Anywhere else!? And what the fuck is going on!?” he asked.

Big shad picked Ty up in his arms like a rag doll, circling the building to take him to his car so they could get to the hospital. Carlie came running up, crying. But she almost wanted to jump for joy. She kept saying my friend looked familiar.

Before he knew it, big Shad had called in a hit on everybody in the car. Tyshawn stopped him.

“Shad! Hold that. I want they asses alive.”

  Chapter Eleven

The doctors had to put Tyshawn to sleep; there was no way he was letting anybody dig a lodged bullet out of his leg while he was awake. Nigga was a savage in the streets but a straight baby when it came to hospitals. He hadn't planned on staying overnight either. He just wanted his shit stitched up so he could take care of some shit. Of course, big Shad had to practically carry the nigga out, because the meds had him drowsy. Shad had his men back at the room, making sure nobody rolled up on them.

“How you feeling?” It was Carlie.

Ty was shocked as hell to see Carlie still there. He thought she might've gotten scared and ran off.

“I’m cool. You been here the whole time?” he asked her.

“Yea. Just laying here waiting on you to wake up,” she said.

  “How sweet,” he said, dryly.

He really wasn't in the mood to be around no females. Shit, one had snaked him, right up under his nose. Shit had him on edge. He was eager as hell to get at Sasha. He was never the type to put his hands on a female, but that bitch had it coming and, of course, I was ready for whatever.

“My car out there?” he asked Carlie.

“Yea. I think your friend went and got it while you were out. Why? What's up?” she asked.

  “Just making sure.”

"Relax babe.” She caressed his arm.

Cash was nowhere to be found. I told Tyshawn he been needed to kick her to the curb. A hard head makes a soft ass. He saw that now. He could’ve been dead tonight and no one had been able to reach her.

“So what's up, where they at? And how did my girl become apart of this?” Ty asked.

  “Your girl!?” Carlie snapped.

“Ma, you worried about the wrong shit right now. That’s just a term we use up north.”

Shad had filled him with everything he knew about the dude and I did the same for Sasha. Turns out, Sasha had started seeing the dude a while back. They actually started dating while he was in our area. Tyshawn almost got robbed back home and that was the dude behind it: Sasha’s boyfriend. Who would've thought? The whole time she was fucking with him, trying to get with my brother, she had only been plotting.

“I swear I didn't see this shit coming,” I said.

  “I know sis.”

“They time coming though.” I was dead serious.

“Believe me.” Ty was just as serious.

Back at the hotel, Tyshawn lay back on the bed and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and just as he got ready to sit up, Carlie had gotten on top of him and kissed him. deeply.

“I’m sorry about what happened to you.” She said. He could look in her eyes and tell she was being sincere.

“Don’t be, you ain’t have nothing to do wit it,” he told her.

"I know. But still.” She looked at him.

“Should I believe you?” he asked her. Still on his lap she ran her hands down his chest, kissed one side of his neck, then the other and his lips again.

“You should. Because I'm telling you the truth and you know it,” she said.

“We’ll see.” In the back of his mind, Tyshawn was wondering if he could trust any female besides me right about now.

  Chapter Twelve

Tyshawn stood in the bathroom of the suite staring at himself in the mirror, trying to really get a grip on this reality. Sasha had played a dirty game and she had played it very well. He couldn't help but smile and give her props. T

The bitch was hardcore. She had made a mistake though, and that was coming for him. Did she not know just who the fuck she was dealing with? The kind of power this Nigga possessed? She should've made sure he was dead, for real.

“You heard the call?” Carlie asked.

She walked up behind him, close enough so her large breasts pressed against his back and she slid her hands down inside his pants.

  “Yea, I heard.” he said.

She just wanted to feel what he was packing. She grabbed his dick in her hands, loving the large size of it, even though it wasn’t even hard. Once she’d copped her feel, she ran her hands under his wifebeater, up his back, down his sides and around his waist.

  “So what now?” she asked.

He turned to face her. Now chest to chest, he looked her dead in her eyes as if he were trying to read her soul. He hadn't noticed that her eyes changed colors before. Or how full her lips were. She kind of reminded him of Claudette from city high.

“Are you gonna answer me?” she asked.

He bit his bottom lip and cocked his head to the side. Could he trust her? He got a little closer, brushing his lips against hers, then along her cheek and up to her ear. He could feel her body getting weak as he left her ear and traced her neck with his lips. When he gripped her ass she damn near fainted in his arms.

“Shit.” she moaned. “Don't do that.”

“We go to work.” That was his answer.

I don’t think she knew exactly what he meant, but she stayed down anyway.

  “Yo, Ty!” Shad called out.

  “Yo!”

“My man’s here got the scoop. Them niggas thinking you knocked and they wanna hit your crib in a couple days. My thing is, are they still here? Or back where y’all came from?” Big Shad asked.

“Nine times outta ten they dipped out. Probably gonna be passing my spot to see if anybody comes through. So what up, you got eyes in the city?” said Ty.

"Shit you know it's nothing. I been waiting on you to say the word. You good here by yourself for a minute?” Big Shad asked him.

"Yea I'm good. I got my duff in the trunk, let me grab that,” Ty replied.

"Ayo Cruze, grab my man’s keys and tote that duff up here,” Big Shad said.

Cruze is one of Big Shads ‘workers’. Nigga gets it in! Like, he literally lives to do dirt. He the silent type, and you know what they say about them silent niggas.

"Ok G, you rest up. Tomorrow night I’ll have the word for you,” Said Big Shad.

“No doubt. I’ll set heads up back home too.”

“I’m heading back with them. I know how to get to Sasha.” I interrupted.

“Call me if anything, sis, and be safe.” Ty hugged me.

Tyshawn made himself a drink and headed back to the room. He sat on bed on the phone while Carlie took a shower.

  “Hello?” Megan called him.

“Were are you? Are you ok? I just had the craziest dream that scared me,” she said.

He knew it was only a matter of time before she’d called him. They had that connection and she would make sure he was straight, no matter how much they argued.

“Some wild crazy shit went down, Meg.”

  “What happened!?” she asked.

“The chick that was with us. She ended up tryna set me up out here with her dude.”

“I knew, I knew her from somewhere! That bitch has always been trifling. Stop bringing dirty bitches around you, Tyshawn!” she shouted.

"Yea. Well, they set me up. Tried to kill me. Caught a bullet to the leg,” he told her.

“WHAT! Bring your ass home! Now! If you don't I'm coming down there and don't think I won't!"

“Meg chill. You know me better than that. Niggas ain't gonna size me and I ain't gonna retaliate. You know that." Ty was lying, trying to calm her down.

“Then. Stop. Please don't do anything stupid and what the hell! Why don't you ever listen to me!? I told you Cash was full of shit, I don’t hear her in the background, that means she isn’t there. I've never liked her, todos sus amigos are trife! They either want what you have or befriend you to shine! No me gusta esa mierda!”

Whenever he got her upset she always mixed her English with her Spanish. Sometimes he understood and sometimes he didn't, but all the time, it turned him on.

“Where is your sister?” she asked.

“She went back home with Shad to look for Sasha.”

“So they left you alone?” she asked.

“Nah. One of my home girls here” he told her.

“So it's just y'all two?” she asked.

  “Yeah” he replied.

“You stress me out Ty. You really do.” She sighed.

“You still love me?” she asked him.

“Don't be dumb, of course I do,” he told her, “I’ll call you in a little while.”

“Ok, but when you coming home? And that girl better not be in the bed with you, Ty!”

“As soon as Big Shad let me know what's what, I'll be on my way back home,” he said.
