"Let me taste you," I whisper pushing him back and sliding off the desk.
I wrap my lips around him and take him all the way to the back of my throat. He moans and rests his hand on the top of my head as I start pumping and sucking. Just doing this to him has me wet with need. I love making him feel this way.
"Oh, Jes—"
"What the fuck!?" Liam's voice roars through the office.
Jack jumps, I jump, teeth are involved and next thing I know, Jack's five feet away from me, bent over and cursing as Liam stands in the doorway wide-eyed.
"Good God, Bang. You just about bit his fucking dick off!" he boasts. "I told you she was trouble, Jack!"
"Shut it, Liam," Jack manages to grit out.
Oh God, I bit him! Oh my god, the realization of what I just did to him finally dawns on me and my jaw drops.
Shit.
"Oh fuck, Jack…. Oh my God, I'm so so—"
"Stop. It's his damn fault," he growls, nodding towards Liam while still hunched over.
"Ha!" Liam barks. "That's not office shit, Jack. Take it back to your place. No one here wants to see that," he says shaking his head. "I just needed to grab this." He yanks his lunchbox off his desk. "See ya tomorrow. Unless she eats your head in your sleep." He looks at Jack then salutes me and slams the office door.
I chance a glance over to Jack who is still trying to compose himself.
"Is it bleeding?"
"What?! No! Jesus, it's…. No!" It takes a second for him to stand up straight but when he does he walks to the other side of the room. "It's fine." He hisses and adjusts himself back into his pants.
"I'm sorry," I say walking towards him and resting my head on his shoulder.
"I said it's fine, Jenny." He sighs and turns, very gently wrapping his arms around me.
"I'm really sorry," I say again hoping that it'll make his dick feel better. "I'll kiss—"
"No! No. Thanks, but… I'm good. Come on, let's head home."
Home.
I turn to correct him but I don't need to as it looks like he's caught the error in his words.
"Lead the way," I say holding out my hand for him, not wanting to make his slip a big deal.
He takes my hand without hesitation and locks up his office behind him. Hopefully I can make it through the next couple of days without killing the poor man. In the past twenty four hours I've almost squished him to death and tried biting off his dick. I'm not sure how much more he can take.
We grab a bite to eat on the way back to his house and I smile as we pull into the driveway. I could definitely get used to a view like his. The entire package, from him to the house, it's just perfect. Heading inside, Firefly greets us with insane energy and as Jack takes her out so she doesn't shit in the house, I check my messages. I've had a few missed calls from the guy I met at the park, but I'm not certain right now is the best time to call him back. I shoot him a text that I'll call him later instead, trying to understand that I really don't want to mess around with him.
Not anymore.
When Jack walks back into the room I shove my phone away before he can see who I'm texting.
"I'm gonna grab a drink, you want anything?" he asks heading into the wine cellar.
"No thanks." I smile.
I need to make it through these few days without hurting him anymore, and alcohol just makes me more clumsy.
Taking his drink, we head out to the patio to watch the firefly's start to light up the dimming night. I still can't believe I always thought they were pooping when they lit up. I feel like my grandmother did me a disservice telling me that. Or at least not telling me the truth when I was old enough to understand it.
Firefly is laying at my feet and as I reach down to pet her, Jack clears his throat and finally speaks. "So, Jenny."
I raise my eyebrows and cock my head. "Jack."
"When do you go home?"
"I fly out Sunday at five," I respond moving my eyes back to the trees and grass.
While we sit in silence my phone starts ringing from my pocket and without thinking I pull it out and answer, "Hello," smiling as Firefly starts playing with my flip flop.
"Jenny? This is Nick, from the park," the male voice comes through the line. The very delicious male that I met at the park last weekend.
Shit!
"Oh, hey, Nick. Uh... Hi." I smile. "I was going to call you later, did you not get my text?" I ask sweetly.
As soon as the words come out I hear Jack's glass hit the table and turn to see his eyes attempting to light my phone on fire.
"Yeah, I did, but me and some buddies are heading to the lake tomorrow. I was seeing if you wanted to join."
"Oh uh... tomorrow's not good, Ni—"
"Oh shit!" Jack yells, then slaps the phone clear out of my hands and out into the yard.
My jaw drops and my eyes widen. "What the hell was that?!"
"Uh... massive... big, BIG mosquito. Didn't want you to get bit. West Nile's still around if I'm not mistaken," he mumbles and gets up to grab my phone but by the time he returns it the call is no longer connected.
"Jack Reed, did you do that on purpose?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"Nope. Big bug." He takes his glass and sips his whiskey, not meeting my gaze.
We sit in silence for what seems like hours. Complete, comfortable silence. When I yawn from exhaustion he smiles.
"Come on, let's get you to bed." Holding his hand out he helps me up and doesn't let go until we're in the bedroom.
"You know, you can let go of me and I won't run away. I'm not a dog." I smile sweetly.
"I'm not entirely sure about that," he quips.
"Really?" I ask crossing my arms in front of me and leaning against the bedroom door. "Please elaborate."
"You're not a dog. I mean, you're counting down the minutes until you go back home, Jenny," he says then sighs and sits on the bed.
"Right" I drawl, hoping he gets to the point.
"I… I can't help but feel like you're excited to get away from me," he says watching me for a reaction.
Dammit.
"Look, Jack. This is all fun and games but we both went into this knowing I don't live here."
"Right, but I feel like you're looking forward to leaving," he says defeated.
"Not even, Jack. I love my job and I've got a few clients who depend on me with their lives and the lives they are growing inside them. Not only do I want to get back to work, but I'm also crazy excited for it. Sure, it'll suck not being around my friends, but it's the life I chose. I love my job." I smile and shrug trying not to feel like this is a break up, because we aren't even together!
This is insane.
"Have you ever thought of the long distance thing? Ya know… a relationship?" he asks pinning me with those brown eyes I love looking into.
Shit.
"Uh… I've thought about it, sure." Now's when I wish I had a drink so I could absentmindedly sip it, or fiddle with it, or something to calm my nerves. "They don't work, Jack," I say finally.
He narrows his eyes at me and shakes his head.
"Have you ever tried one, Jenny?"
"I've never even tried a real relationship, Jack. I don't do… relationships. A long distance one just seems like it would fail faster than a regular one."
"So you're not willing to try one with me?" he asks and my heart flutters.
Stop, dammit! I have old lady vaginas and new born good smelling babies to get home to!
I look at him for a moment, not wanting to answer because I don't want to hurt his feelings, but after five minutes of silence he pushes again.
"So?" The look on his face is so hopeful.
"No, Jack. Can't we just enjoy fucking till I have to go home?"
God, the way his face falls actually hurts my chest. I'm not supposed to feel this for men! I shouldn't care that I don't want what they want.
Well… I didn't want what they want.
God, why's this have to be so confusing?
/> CHAPTER NINE
YOU MY FRIEND, HAVE A VAGINA
JACK
One of the best feelings in the world is being able to touch Jenny's body and do things to it that I know only I can do, even if she is with another man. Speaking of, she took that damn phone call while sitting on my porch! This is the bad news Liam is always spouting off about, but I don't care, every inch of the hot mess that is Jenny has been permanently seared into me. She's not just an attractive woman anymore, she's not just a woman I look forward to having a night together with, she's become someone that I constantly think about. Prior to her showing back up here I was thinking about her too often, but now, now there's no way in hell I'll ever get her out of my head.
I finish my glass in a shot then stand.
"I'm going to hit the shower quickly." I smell my shirt that doesn't smell but I need away from her right this minute.
I'm not angry… yes I am. I'm pissed she's denying me this. A long distance relationship isn't ideal at all, but she's worth it. Every lonely night. Late night phone calls. She's worth it all because dammit, I'm falling for this woman! Jenny's such a harsh contrast than what I'm used to with women and it's been a refreshing, terrifying ride this far. I want this. Her. I want her and I know she wants me. She wouldn't do the things she does after sex because we've slept together multiple times, there's no need for her to tell me each time I'm the best she's ever had, and I believe her. Jenny isn't the type to lie to spare someone's feelings. She's a very sexual person but I could put money down that I'm the only man that's ever made her tremble as hard as she does when she reaches orgasm.
Sex with Jenny has become more than just sex, it's become a connection because yes we're going at it, fucking each other's brains out, but there's a connection there. When we get caught up in a kiss or when her blue eyes get lost staring into mine, we have something more than just sex going on.
So, that being said, no more sex.
I make sure to lock the door and take a hell of a lot longer than any man would that's waiting to get out there and pleasure a woman. I shave, floss twice, brush twice, pull stray unibrow hairs, trim my beard, trim the hair around my ears, cut my ear, bleed profusely, curse quietly so Jenny doesn't come in. Dammit, I never cut my own hair but I needed something to waist time.
Thankfully, she's sleeping when I walk back into the bedroom and I quietly slip into bed. She doesn't wake but I can't stop myself from pulling her to my chest and when I do she stirs and her hand instinctively goes to my dick. The woman just can't help herself.
I softly grab her wrist, trying to figure out how I'm going to deny her when I get hard just by her scent. Luckily, I don't have to deny her, she falls back asleep.
I'm woken by her hand stroking me and I let out a grumbling chuckle, ready to pin her to the mattress until I remember: NO MORE SEX.
"I'm late!" I blurt and fling myself from the bed, tripping over my boots and run crawl to bathroom like she's a tiger about to pounce. "Just need a shower!" I yell through the locked door.
"Jack, it's five," she tiredly calls out. "As in, in the morning. Five in the morning—"
"Early day today!" I lie and get into a chilled shower.
There are a ton of reasons why I should get back out there and give her what we both want, but the stubbornness in me is helping me hold my ground. So I rush her out the door by quarter to six and we're walking through Liam's by twenty after.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Liam stares at me with his eyes half shut and I watch Jenny rush to bathroom because I didn't even give her the chance to pee before we left.
"Liam," I blurt.
"Thank you, Jack," Ryley says scowling at Liam and I think she thought I was reprimanding him for his language, but that wasn't it, I'm going crazy, I need Liam advice.
Oh shit.
I've only ever needed Liam advice on something work related. I'm not sure I like these… things… feelings? Emotions? This bullshit running through me. Jenny Bang is the devil in disguise.
"Ry, it's six in the morning!" Liam bitches walking toward the kitchen and I follow him.
"We still have a son at six in the morning," Ryley snaps at him.
"You look beautiful this morning, Ryley." I kiss her cheek and head toward the kitchen again.
"Seriously, what're you guys doing here? Finally dropping the ho off? You getting off that crazy ho train?"
"Liam," I snap with a growl and my fist lands on his counter.
Jumping back from being startled, coffee splashes onto his chest and he screams, "Oh fuck!"
"Liam Gregory Porter!" Ryley's voice carries through the house.
I can hear Able giggling and I smirk at both his laugh and the fact Liam burned himself after saying that about Jenny.
"Fuck you, Reed," he quietly grumbles while wiping his chest.
"I thought it was an early day?" Jenny's sweet voice sounds from behind me while she pinches my ass and I jump.
"It is—"
"It is?" Liam boasts.
"Yep. Freedman. And Roy. Travers too," I start rambling our biggest client names and Liam's completely confused while Jenny's humming and wiggling her tight ass I want to sink my teeth into.
I'm not going to be able to deny this woman, but I'm determined!
"So let's go, Liam."
Liam's glaring at me with his eyebrows high and a coffee mug midway to his mouth.
Jenny smiles at me, that less than innocent smile as she walks out of the kitchen.
"Shit," I huff and lean on the counter.
"What in the hell, man?" Liam asks.
"That woman."
"I told you she's trouble."
"The only trouble she is is I asked her to be my girlfriend and she's skeptical of a long distance relationship."
I have never seen coffee come from the nose before. I know it was painful, especially judging by the way he dropped to his knees and put his arms in the air like he's praying to Jesus.
"You feeling the Holy Spirit, babe?" Ryley asks with a giggle and my held in laughter escapes.
"Let's go, Jack," Liam grumbles stumbling toward his room.
"What was that all about?" Ryley looks to me.
"Early morning prayer. Thank you, Jesus." I leave the kitchen chuckling and find Firefly who's even dragging this morning.
"Have a good day, Lumber-Jack," Jenny coos at me then stands on her tiptoes and kisses me.
I turn and am out the door quickly because she drives me insane!
Me and Liam never ride in together but because of my freak-out he's in the front of my truck staring at me expectantly.
"What?" I grumble.
"What!? What!? You're… you're freaking going nuts!"
"Oh… oh, now that we're not in earshot of your son, you can't curse?" I snicker at him.
"Jack… Jack…. Jack!" he screams.
"What!?" I slam on the brakes looking around, afraid I've hit something again.
"Jenny!" he screams.
"Liam!" I bark and floor it because I'm pissed. "I don't…. I didn't want to develop this shit. Ya know? I like her a lot and I know she likes me. She's… she's just avoiding me because of the LDR thing, but I—"
"LDR thing? What's that mean?" Liam quirks his eyebrow.
"Long distance relationship."
"There's acronyms for this bullshit?" he boasts and rubs his face. "Or did you make that up?"
"No I didn't make it up. Yesterday at work I was Google searching how to maintain a LDR—"
"Stop." He's barking out laughter slapping my dashboard. "Oh, fuck, please, please, just stop. I think you need to have this conversation with Ryley. My penis is still attached. You, my friend, have a vagina."
"Liam! Fuck you, man."
"Whoa." He reels back looking at me. "You really do fucking like her. Like… are you in love with her?"
"No!" I scream. "Maybe," I mumble.
"Jesus Christ. Bang? Blonde and pink hair? Boobs bigger than you head? Bang? Jenny Bang. Dr. Ban
g that got that name long before a doctorates?"
"Just forget it." I direct my attention out my window while sitting at a light and all goes silent.
He wasn't much help and I've been sitting at my desk since seven this morning thinking about her.
"I've got an idea," Liam says waltzing into my office and I quickly grab my computer mouse to act like I've been working. "This might help." He says turning on my monitor and I drop my head. "Pathetic," he says under his breath then sits across from me. "So about Bang."
"Jenny."
"Nope, don't fucking think about it, Jack. I've known her for fucking years and I don't care if you've had you dick in her or let her rip out your heart, she will always be Bang to me. Anyway, make her jealous. There's not much that can make that woman jealous, but, if you can then you know she really likes you."
"What am I sixteen again?" I rub my eyes because I woke up way too early.
"That's sometimes the mentality you need with these chicks. I'm just saying, there's two things that Bang can't walk away from, jealousy and challenges." He smirks in an evil way the makes me furrow my brows.
"Make her jealous how? Show more attention to Firefly?"
His face scrunches like I just asked him what two plus two was. "A dog, you fucking think she'll be jealous of a dog?"
"She loves that dog," I protest.
"Exactly, so she'll probably love the attention you're paying it. Anyway, think bigger. I talked to Ryley a bit ago and we're having a barbecue Saturday, for Jenny leaving and shit."
I didn't mean to frown but he caught it and he huffs, rubbing his face.
"Anyway. Shayla will be at the barbecue because it's also our last big thing before child deuce."
"Shayla?" I scoot to the edge of my seat. "Liam, she's obsessed with me! Her and Jenny shouldn't be around each other!"
"Jack. Jack." He grins. "That's why they should. If Bang is really all about you, she won't let another girl get to her man." Sitting back, the ass is so confident in himself, and I hate to say it, but I think he has a point.
"But that doesn't mean she'll go for the LDR."
"Can we please stop calling it that?" He cringes. "Listen, I know Bang." He looks away contemplatively.
The last time I saw this look on Liam's face, three hours later we were drunk and running butt ass naked into Lake Michigan in the middle of January.
