She smiled as she took another bite.

“Are you sure you are not just biased?” she asked. “Don’t think I haven’t noticed the number of packages you’ve got from Google. And I mean snail mail not even normal email like the rest of us.”

He laughed and took another bite.

“Well, I did sign an endorsement deal with Google a couple of years ago, but still I have to say that I see the improvements they have been making over the years. I mean, keeping up in Silicon Valley is not exactly something easy, you know.”

She took another bite of her food and reached for her glass.

  “Just play the music already.”

“Okay. What do you feel like?” he asked. “Old school rock? Punk rock? Soft rock? Maybe you have a band in mind?”

She shook her head and took a sip of her wine.

  “I don’t know. Dealer’s choice.”

  He nodded.

“Okay, Google. Play Creed,” he said and smiled at her as the intro guitar solo to “Torn” began playing.

“Great song,” Natasha said, and Matthew nodded.

  “Totally.”

“You know we make a pretty pitiful lot as far as the world is concerned,” she said, and he shook his head.

  “And why is that?”

“Well, the average person would have chosen some soft music, maybe classical music for an occasion like this. But we are just fine with some rock in the background.” She laughed and shook her head. “But far be it for someone like me to enjoy Chopin or something like that.”

  He forced out a laugh.

“This coming from someone who watched some kids playing “Time to Say Goodbye” and almost shed a tear.”

She bit her lip and took a long deep breath.

“Well, let me put it like this. I appreciate good music…whatever genre it is. I am just not all for dressing up and going to the opera. I would much rather watch Westside Story to be quite honest.”

  He smiled and nodded.

“You don’t have to explain that to me. I do get it.” He reached for his glass and took a sip of his wine. “I had some potential investors ask to have a business meeting at the opera and I have to admit, I loved it. But it was such a long thing…and somewhere down the line, I forgot the storyline or maybe I was not really paying any attention…it was a bore. The meeting, not the music.”

She smiled and took a sip of her wine just as another song came on. One of her all-time favorite songs from Creed. She bit her lip for a second before she smiled, gently running her finger on the base of the glass, her dimpled cheeks showing. She was silent for a long time before he finally spoke again.

“Everything alright?” he asked, and she nodded.

“I just…” Her voice trailed off. “I haven’t listened to this song since the funeral. It was one of my favorite songs. But I didn’t…I haven’t listened to it in a while.”

“I can change it if you want,” he said in a soft voice, and she shook his head.

“No. There is no reason why I cannot enjoy a good song just because it brings back memories…I mean, I will always have stuff that brings back memories anyway. So, I may as well just suck it up.’

He looked into her eyes and nodded.

  “I guess so?”

She looked at him and shrugged.

  “Are you asking or saying?”

  “Depends. Which one suits you?”

She reached for her wine and took a sip. She took another bite of her food and then another sip. And before they knew it, they had listened to the whole song in silence as they ate. But when the song ended, he started it again, and she looked at him, a little confused.

“Okay, Google. Stop.” He was looking right into her eyes now. “Okay, Google. Play ‘One Last Breath’ on repeat.”

“What is happening?” she asked as he stood up.

“You said it. This is a song is a great jam and you like it, so we are going to dance,” he said as he stretched his hand out to her.

She looked up at him for a long moment before she shook her head.

“‘One Last Breath’ is not exactly a romantic song,” she said, and he shrugged.

“We can make it a romantic song. Come on,” he pressed, and she placed a hand in his. He was smiling as he helped her up.

He pulled her into his arms and they began to slowly sway to the rhythm of the music, and as they danced, he was pulling her closer and closer, and by the time they were listening to the song for the fourth time, she had her arms around his neck and he had his around her waist. He pressed his forehead against hers and sighed.

“I think this is what I have been missing,” he said, and she pulled away to look at him.

  “What is?” she asked.

“This,” he said. “A genuine bond with a woman so perfect and sophisticated as you are.”

She smiled, her eyes closed and her forehead still pressed against his.

“Sophisticated? A woman who chooses Westside Story over Chopin? Really?”

“I think we all reserve our own rights to what the word means. And I choose to believe that you are sophisticated just by loving Westside Story.”

He pulled away, and she opened her eyes to look into her eyes.

“You know,” she started. “I’m really flattered to be here and everything and I love just how much you make me feel better about myself. But I keep on wondering if there is something more that I am not seeing.”

“What do you mean?” he asked, and she shrugged.

“You are a freaking millionaire who travels the world…I mean, you must have met a whole lot of women. A whole lot of perfectly bodied women.”

  He shrugged.

  “I have. I won’t lie.”

“So, then you must understand how I feel about you and all this,” she said, and he shook his head.

  “I don’t understand.”

“You are sweet, Matthew, but I just don’t know…” she started as he lowered his head and kissed her before she could finish what she was saying. It was almost as if he knew exactly what she was about to say.

By the time he pulled back, her heart was racing and her cheeks were flushed, even though she didn’t know it yet.

“I am not just with you because there is no one else,” he said. “I am with you because for the first time in a long time I have met someone who is not after me because I am Matt the Nomad. Someone who genuinely enjoys my company.”

He took a long deep breath and held her face in his hands.

“You have no idea just what you do to me,” he said. “The things I think of doing to you every single time I look at you.”

He began backing them up against one wall of the kitchen.

“I don’t want to make you feel like I am pushing you, so I think I am just going to go outside and cool down because that dress is doing you justice and honestly, not doing me any favors,” he said as she leaned against the wall. He pulled away from her and looked at her, her hands in his. “And this is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do including explaining the Mannequin Challenge to a bunch of fifty-something-year-olds.”

He raised her hands to his lips and closed his eyes as he kissed her hands.

“I don’t want you to stop,” she said in a whisper. “Not tonight.”

He looked into her eyes and took a long deep breath.

“Natasha, I don’t want you to feel pressured…” he started, and she took a step forward and kissed him softly.

“I want you, Matthew,” she said in a whisper. “And I must admit that part of me knew just how this night was going to end up when I offered to make dinner. I think it is about time I moved on from Kyle and…and…” Her voice trailed off.

She did not have the right words to tell him that he had made her realize that she still had the rest of her life to live. And that it was perfectly fine to have feelings for someone else. After all, it is not like Kyle would have wanted her to remain alone and miserable all her life.

You don’t have to say anything else,” he said in a soft voice. “I don’t need anything more to convince me.”

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her softly. At first, he just brushed his lips on hers and then pulled away to look at her. It was like he wanted to see if she was going to push him off or punch him in the face, but instead, he took her hand and slowly led her out to the living room.

“God, you’re beautiful,” he said in a low voice as he pulled her back into his arms to kiss her again. He was working his kisses slowly from her mouth to her chin and then lower to her neck. He pushed her hair back and slowly ran his tongue down the side of her neck to her shoulder before he pulled back and slowly began pulling her dress up. When he got to her waist, she bit her lip rather than raise her arms up above her head to allow him to pull the dress off. She knew he could see the hesitation in her eyes.

“Is something wrong?” he asked, and she shook her head.

“No...but could we turn off the lights?” she asked, and he shook his head.

“You have nothing to hide from me, Natasha,” he said in a soft voice. “I already told you, you are perfection in every sense of the word.”

She smiled and raised her arms over her head, allowing him to pull the dress off. She could feel herself blushing as he looked down at her body, covered by only her bra and panties. He pushed her down on the couch and gently ran his hand down her torso, brushing against her breasts whose nipples hardened almost immediately. He trailed his kisses down her chest and further down to pull her panties down.

She raised her head to look down at him, but before she could, he had already buried his head in between her legs and began eating out her already moist cunt. He put his hand under her knee and put her leg on his shoulder as he went on running his tongue along her slit and flicking it on her clit. Her moans were getting louder and louder as he went on, and by that time, she was no longer just moist. She was wet. Dripping right into his mouth and he was drinking it all up almost like his life depended on it. She could feel her body getting so close to her orgasm when he suddenly pulled back, and she moaned her displeasure.

He got up and took off his own clothes before joining her back on the couch.

She put her hand behind his neck and pulled him down to kiss her as he slipped a hand under her to undo her bra clasp. She gasped silently when he pulled it off from under her, exposing her bare breasts to him.

“If only you could see what I do,” he said in a whisper as he filled his hand with her breast.

She spread her legs wider and gasped into his mouth when she felt his cock rub against her. Her heart beat just a little faster when she felt him position himself at her entrance. He pulled away from her and looked down at her when he sensed the tension in her body.

“It’s been really long,” she said in a whisper, and he nodded.

“I know. I’ll go slow,” he said before he kissed her softly. “I promise,” he added as he began working his girth into her.

She winced a little and then let out a moan when he pulled out and pushed himself back in, getting deeper inside her. He pulled back out and gently kissed her before he buried himself inside her making her gasp loudly.

“What? Did I hurt you?” he asked, and she wrapped her leg around his waist.

“No…not at all,” she said before he began kissing her again as he slowly moved himself in and out of her. But the wetness in her and the way she was holding on to him was more than enough to make him move harder and faster. And as she lay there under him, she did not even know why she was so scared in the first place. The person who had said that sex was like riding a bike was absolutely right. It had been four years since Kyle died, but she was not having any problem getting right back on the horse. She even surprised him when she asked for him to go harder and deeper inside her, and it was clear that he did not need any second bidding because he was suddenly fucking her hard and deep. She was clawing at his back and he was nibbling her neck as his thrusts grew stronger. Deeper. And so much more intense as the seconds passed by. Their bodies were drenched and she was no longer moaning but crying out in ecstasy as he worked her body giving her orgasm after orgasm. He was making her scream without even realizing just what he was doing to her.

“Oh, fuck!” she cried out when she felt the tightness in her pussy squeezing against his shaft. She was about to climax probably for the fourth time in a span of twenty minutes. “Please, don’t stop!” she begged as he went on fucking her almost as if he depended on that simple action to survive.

“Oh God, Natasha,” he moaned as he began slamming against her pelvis, harder and harder. The sounds of their bodies slamming against each other and their loud moans drowning out the music in the background. “I’m so close….so fucking close…” he moaned, but it was too late to warn her. He was already exploding inside her at the same time she felt her own body lose all control.

They let out a loud cry in unison just as his limp cock slipped out of her.

“I don’t know why I took so long to do that,” she said in an exhausted whisper. “I should have done this a whole lot sooner.”

Matthew forced out a laugh and planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

“Yeah, I was wondering the same thing too.”

“Do you realize this is the second time I have chosen you over food?” he asked as she rested her head on his shoulder. “Which is probably why I am famished.”

“I can’t blame you,” Natasha said. “That was quite the workout.”

“We should probably fuel up because I think I will be ready to go again any time now,” he said as he got up and took her hand in his. “You’re coming?”

“In more ways than one,” she wanted to say but instead she found herself smiling at him.

  “Of course I am.”

  Chapter 9

It was quite safe to say that for the next few days, Matthew and Natasha neither thought of their real lives or what the future had in store for them As far as they were concerned, all they wanted to do was live in the moment and it was beautiful. The personal trainer, the cooking lessons, the private dinners and late breakfasts that were ever so perfect…there was no way either of them were looking forward to going back home or to work.

It was the tenth day of her visit to Italy when Natasha’s eyes fluttered open on a Tuesday afternoon. She had somehow got him to her own body clock…her Boston body clock. Matthew had even decided to let the staff have a few days off because every morning after the personal trainer left, they were like savages. They could hardly keep their hands off each other, and they were simply all over the villa. Not that they minded. Natasha had not even realized that she had not thought about Kyle the way she always did every single day. It had become the norm. And even though she hated doing it, it was the only thing that made sense about her life anymore. The only thing she had left in her life that reminded her of Kyle as unhealthy as it was. Thinking about him in the morning and going to bed thinking about him and looking at his picture was all she had left. But somehow, for the first time in a long time, she had not thought about him. Or about what she missed about him. All she could think of was just how much she had missed this. Not being alone. Waking up next to someone. Enjoying someone else’s company. And yes, it might have felt like they were moving a little fast, but she did not care anymore. All she cared about was that for the first time in a long time, she was looking in the mirror and seeing what she had not seen in a long time. She was seeing a woman, a beautiful woman and not the shell she had been seeing for the last few years. She was beginning to remember what it felt like to live rather than exist which was what she had been doing lately.

She could feel Matthew next to her, his body engulfing hers as he held her closely. She took a long deep breath when she felt him kissing the back of her head.

“You’re awake,” she said in a soft voice.

  “Yeah, I am.”

“Oh, wow,” she said, smiling. “In more ways than one,” she added wh
en she felt his hard cock pressing against her.

“I could say that it is because I just woke up, but to be honest I have been waiting on you to wake up so I can do a whole lot to you,” he said in a whisper as he pressed his pelvis to her bare ass. She gasped silently and bit her lip. “So, just give me the word.”

He gently pushed her hair off her neck and kissed her softly.

“Just give me the word and I will have you.” He gently ran his hand down her body. “In any way you want.”

She turned around and lay on her side, looking into his eyes. Her hand was on his cheek, gently stroking it. She leaned forward and kissed him softly at first and then she began kissing him deeper and with more intent. He was caressing her softly, slowly savoring her curves and mounds as he did.

She gently pulled back and looked into his eyes.

“I want you,” she said as he smiled.

“Just the words I wanted to hear,” he whispered as he rolled over and got on top of her. He touched her chin gently and kissed her softly.

“No, not like this,” she said in a soft voice. “I want you. I want you in my mouth.”

She could see the shock in his eyes as he looked at her. She smiled at him and kissed him softly before she rolled him over and gently got on top of him. She looked down at him and interlaced her fingers with his. She lowered her head and brushed her lips against his mouth before she went on to trail her kisses down his chest. She knelt in between his legs and he raised his head to look down at her. She could see the puzzled look on his face as he looked at her, but she was not looking to back out now. She licked her lips seductively and then went on to slowly kiss his tummy and work her way down to his already hard cock.

She held his hard cock in her hand and he gasped silently as he began moving her hand up and down, stroking his shaft slowly. He was moaning as he felt her stroking him, ever so gently. It was almost like she was teasing him and all he could do was just lie there and take it.

As Natasha stoked his girth, she realized that this was the one thing she was still not sure about. She had never really been an oral prowess…at least, she didn’t think she was as good as Kyle was. After all, he did have to tell her that she was good at it. And Matthew being the man he was, she was a little unsure if she still had it. But this was the time to prove herself right…or wrong.
