We made plans to have dinner the following night. He asked to come pick me up for our date, and although I initial refused, I finally had to cave into him when he sent me a picture of Fred Flintstone’s car and said I deserved a ride in that. It made me laugh, and I needed a good laugh right about then.
***
I felt like an old pro at going on first dates. In the last couple months I had certainly had my fair share of them. Unfortunately, first dates never seemed to correlate into second or third dates for me. Often there just was no chemistry between me and the guy. The guys who I had ended up keeping around had all started out as friends without the traditional dating start.
Rob and I had a great date. He was funny and made me laugh. He was very handsome, his surfer boy looks certainly could get the ladies; I was sure of it. Unfortunately, there just was no chemistry between the two of us. Or at least, I didn’t feel the chemistry. Rob certainly felt fine about the two of us. He spent much of the evening flirtatiously setting his hand on different parts of my body. I couldn’t help wondering if my fixation on Marcus was really distracting me from enjoying this nice guy I was on a date with.
When he arrived at my door and walked me out to his car, his hand was on my lower back. When he pulled my chair out for me at the restaurant, he let his hand sit on my shoulder after he pushed my chair in. Then on the drive back to my house, he let out a bellowing laugh at one of my jokes and just happened to let his hand land on my thigh as he finished laughing.
I didn’t really mind. He was cute and really funny; I was probably going to take him to bed just to give him a test drive. Sometimes you just never knew about a guy until you had him naked in bed.
All in all, it was a good date, though. We got along great and made each other laugh. It was better than most of my other dates. I could see myself actually being friends with this guy. It would be hard to tell him no if he asked me on a second date, though. I’d probably just have to say yes at first and then blow him off after he was gone unless he was good in the bedroom; that would change my entire view of the guy.
When we pulled up outside my house, Rob jumped up out of his sports car and ran over to open my door. His car was hot, and I was really glad he didn’t have a old junk car like he had joked about in the picture he sent earlier. The black Chevy Camaro was a delicious piece of machinery.
His hand quickly went to my lower back as he guided me to my front door. I didn’t mind him touching me. It was an expression of his desire for me.
“I had a great night,” I said as I glanced over to the neighbor’s house.
Out of the corner of my eye, I could swear I just saw the light in Marcus’s back room turn off and the shade on the window moving. I couldn’t help imagining that he was standing at his window watching me.
“Me too, I’m really glad Willow thought to hook us up. It’s really hard to find decent women out in the country. Most are either too young, too old, or married.” Rob laughed.
I didn’t know for sure, but I thought Marcus was watching me from his window, and I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I could feel myself getting nervous, and although I wasn’t originally planning on kissing Rob good night, I decided it would be worth it if Marcus were watching.
I’m not sure why I thought me kissing some other guy would be so awesome, but I just didn’t want Marcus to win this battle. I didn’t know if he was watching for sure or not. But if he was, I was going to make sure he knew I didn’t care at all about him disappearing. I was perfectly able to get my own date and didn’t need to worry about his arrogance at all.
“Yeah, I’m glad too,” I said as I leaned against my front door.
I gave Rob the look of seduction; it was a slight flutter of my eyelashes with a little biting of my lower lip. He couldn’t refuse me. Within seconds, he had moved in for a kiss. I did really like having a guy like Rob around, one that was easily controlled with my normal flirting ways.
Normally, I wouldn’t get super devoted to a good night kiss. I usually liked them to be quick and passionate. Just enough to test out our chemistry, but not so much that the guy ended up getting excited and thinking that I was going to bring him inside.
This time, I was going to have to go all out. If I was going to make Marcus see that I didn’t need him, I was going to have to really kiss Rob.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and let my hands run through his blond hair. It was soft, and I couldn’t help enjoying this moment a little bit. Rob was an excellent kisser. His lips moved in perfect harmony with mine, and I could feel him readjusting his body and trying to stay just a couple inches away from me. Likely so I couldn’t tell just how hard he was with excitement.
Slowly I let my hands go down to his back and then move back up. He was a very fit guy and built with plenty of muscles. Not nearly as many as Marcus, but certainly still in very good shape.
As we continued to kiss, I couldn’t help imagining Marcus watching me and getting jealous. It served him right for being such an ass to me. I didn’t know for sure if he was watching, but I had a sneaking suspicious that he was. There was just a feeling that I had, and I wanted to make sure Marcus knew I didn’t need him.
I was an independent woman; I didn’t need to wait around for Marcus to call. I wanted him to call so I could get to know him better. But since he didn’t bother to do that, I figured I would just get to know Rob better.
“Best first date ever!” Rob exclaimed as we finally stopped kissing.
I just smiled and tried to look over at Marcus’s house to see if I saw any movement. But it looked pretty quiet over there.
“It was very nice. You make sure and call me sometime,” I said as I opened my front door. “Unless you’d like to come in for a nightcap,” I offered.
Rob didn’t hesitate at all and quickly followed me into the house. I pulled him up the stairs to my bedroom and threw him onto the bed. Tonight I was going to be in charge, and I loved every minute of it.
I teased and played with Rob for a few minutes before wrapping the condom around him and pulling him on top of me. He was so excited to be having sex with me that his thrusts only lasted a few minutes before he came. It wasn’t a miraculous evening of sex at all, more like a quickie that left me wanting more and had Rob longing to spend the night with me.
“Let me taste you,” he growled as he slid down and started to please me.
It was the least he could do for cumming so damn fast. Rob was an expert with his fingers and moved them diligently inside me as his tongue tasted me. With my eyes closed, I found the sweet spot and rocked my body against him in perfect timing until the orgasm released. It was a sweet orgasm, nothing too radioactive, but I definitely had a feeling that Rob would be interested in coming around again soon.
I didn’t feel like having Rob spend the night. It wasn’t anything against him; I just wanted to take a shower and sleep in without worrying about what his plans were the next day. I sweetly suggested he should get going home before Willow showed up in the morning, and he agreed.
We said our goodbyes, and Rob made his way back to his car. I sat down on the stairs just inside my doorway as I thought about our date. He really was a nice guy. If I had met him before Marcus, I would have been very excited. I did think Rob would be good to keep around, but my mind was still wrapped up in Marcus.
The problem was, I had met Marcus. The sexual fireworks that were between us were so much more than I could have ever imagined. I certainly couldn’t move on with someone else unless I found that sort of connection again.
I was about to slip out of my clothes and go upstairs to shower when there was a knock at my door.
Chapter 9
“Hey Rob, did you forget something?” I said as I opened the door.
It wasn’t Rob; instead, I was face to face with Marcus. My blood sped up, and my face flushed before I could even think straight. Why was he at my house at this crazy hour? If I hadn’t already decided Marcus was a little different, this moment s
ure cemented that thought in my head.
“So you went on a date?”
“Yep.”
“Alright. So he looked like a douchebag.”
“Well, you don’t know him.” I could feel myself getting angrier as we spoke. “What sort of guy knocks on his neighbor’s door to put down her date? That’s really weird, and if you don’t know someone, you really shouldn’t be making comments on who they are or what they are like.”
“I doubt you know him either.”
My pulse got faster as I could feel the anger building up inside of me. Who was he to come and talk to me about my date? He had totally ignored me for the past two weeks. It was his fault I even went on a date in the first place.
“Really? Really? You’re going to throw up an attitude when you disappeared for two weeks without so much as a phone call.”
Marcus narrowed his eyes onto me, and I felt them soften up just a touch. He pressed into my house and shut the door behind him. What the heck was this guy doing? He just welcomed himself into my home. But what was I doing? I let him come in. There was a strong energy between Marcus and I, though; it was so strong that I couldn’t resist him.
“I’m sorry. I was out of town on work.”
“Hmmm, the last time I checked, the entire country had phone service, and you even carry around a little thing in your pocket called a cellular phone.”
I was getting annoyed, and I could feel it. But for some reason, Marcus just smiled at me. It was like he was antagonizing me to get angrier. He didn’t seem put off by my agitation at all; in fact, he was getting softer and calmer the more I raised my voice.
“Yes, but when I work, I can’t have my phone with me.”
“Oh, my God. That’s a great excuse. Do all the women you bang and then leave get to hear this same pile of bullshit?”
Marcus had a full on smile now and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the anger level that I had reached. I wasn’t quite sure why I was angry, though. I really didn’t know him at all, and it wasn’t like me to get so attached to someone so quickly.
“I’m serious. No phone for two weeks. Plus, I didn’t have your number anyways, so it wouldn’t have helped me to have my phone.”
His calm demeanor should have helped to calm me down also, but it didn’t. Instead, I continued to get louder and louder as I forced him to see just how crazy a woman can be when she is jaded by a man.
I didn’t normally get so attached to a man. Hell, that was exactly why I preferred having a couple men around at one time instead of just concentrating my efforts on one man. But this particular guy had gotten under my skin with his nonchalant attitude. Even I made an effort to keep in contact with my boyfriends, and I sometimes had up to five of them at a time. If I could manage that, then Marcus could manage at least a phone call.
“Oh, so you didn’t have a phone for two weeks? How was it up there?”
“What? Up where?” he said with a puzzled look on his face.
“Up in Antarctica. I mean unless you were in the African desert for your work. Because those are the only two places I can think of that you can’t find cell service for two friggin weeks. You know Marcus you are unbelievable. If you didn’t want to keep in touch with me, why wouldn’t you just tell me I wasn’t your type? It’s fine; I mean I’m not everyone’s type, and that’s perfectly acceptable, but at least don’t be a jerk about it.”
“You are my type,” Marcus said calmly with a mischievous smile.
“Oh, my God! Seriously, how can I be your type if you disappear for two weeks? Don’t call me and then ignore me when you do get home.”
“Trust me; I didn’t ignore you.”
“I don’t even know what is going on here!”
I couldn’t take it anymore. He wasn’t making any sense. He says I’m his type, and he didn’t ignore me, but I certainly felt ignored. And where on earth could he work that he couldn’t talk to someone for two weeks? This guy must really think I’m stupid.
The problem I was having was he didn’t appear to be lying. I have been around plenty of people who lied to me, and there is just something about the way they look at you or don’t look at you, which makes you feel like you can’t trust them. But standing in front of Marcus and looking at how he answered my questions, he didn’t seem to be lying.
I just stood there and stared at him for a minute as I tried to figure out what the heck was going on. Marcus was clearly not going to engage in the argument I was trying to have. He continued to be calm and acted like he was telling me exactly what had happened.
“So what’s up with this guy you were kissing?” Marcus said with a smile.
“Nothing. We just went on a date.”
“Why?”
“Because adults go on dates when they are single. I like going on dates. I like having men in my life. In fact, I’m happy if I have multiple men in my life. I know, that sounds crazy, but I like my life like that.”
“Okay, I’d like to take you on a date.”
I just shook my head no. What was going on? How did we get from him ignoring me to now he was standing in my house asking me on a date?
“No.”
Marcus looked surprised at my answer. He crossed his arms and leaned back against the door. He seemed to be pondering what to do next.
“Yes,” he replied.
I laughed. This was like a game to him. He ignored me for two weeks, and now that he saw me kissing another guy, he was suddenly interested in me. I didn’t want to play this game anymore.
“No. I think you should leave.”
I grabbed for the door to open it, but he wouldn’t move.
“I think I should stay.”
He stayed exactly where he was with his arms crossed and a smile on his face. He seriously didn’t think that he should leave. The way he was looking at me was getting me excited. I flashed to him kissing me, and I knew I was in trouble if he didn’t go soon. I was certainly going to give into my primal desire for this guy.
“Listen here, Marcus. I had fun with you. I enjoyed our night together. I wanted to see you again, but you disappeared. I don’t have time for this kind of stuff. I have a big art exhibit next week, and I’m over this crap. Please leave.”
“That’s great. Yes, I’ll be your date to the art exhibit.” Marcus smiled and uncrossed his arms.
“What are you talking about?”
“I would love to be your arm candy for your show. What should I wear? Is it black tie? Or more casual?”
I didn’t know what to do. He was bat shit crazy. He actually thought I was going to go on a date with him. Why on early would I agree to go on a date with a guy that had been a total ass to me? I had more self-respect than that.
“I’m not going on a date with you!” I yelled out of exasperation.
“Damn you look sexy as fuck when you’re mad.”
“What?” I asked as I tried to register that he was actually flirting with me while I was angry. “No I don’t.”
“Oh yes, you do,” Marcus said as he moved toward me.
I stepped back one small step after another before I landed right up against the stairs. I looked up toward the top of the stairs and instantly remembered when Marcus had carried me naked up to my bedroom.
I moved away from the stairs. Marcus smiled as he seemed to be remembering the exact same thing as I was. I avoided eye contact with him and moved toward the front door.
“Come on, it’s late. Just go home, and we can talk more tomorrow,” I said as I opened the door.
Marcus grabbed the door and slammed it shut.
He then grabbed me and slammed me against the door quickly but gently. His body forcing me against him.
“I think I would like to stay,” he said with a smile. “If it’s alright with you, of course.”
My body whirled with desire for him. I didn’t want to be so attracted to him. The problem was my body was aching to feel him. I bit my lip as the desire started to build. I looked down to try and avoid
eye contact, but his hand gently lifted my chin up and our eyes locked.
His lips came in fast and hard against mine, and I tried to push him away. I was still angry with him. I didn’t want to have sex with him …
… but I couldn’t stop myself. The passion and desire that filled my body needed to be released. I could be mad at him tomorrow. Tonight, I was going to fuck him.
I pressed hard against him, and he moved all the way back to the stairs. When we reached the stairs, I pushed him right back onto his ass.
As he sat on the stairs, I climbed on top of him and roughly kissed him. Our lips moved with one another, and our hands grabbed and tore at each other’s clothes. Before I knew it, my nightdress was hiked up to my waist, and my panties were on the ground.
Marcus grabbed me and stood up, pressing my body against the wall and holding me there. He unzipped his pants and quickly guided his cock inside of me. As he thrust into me, my body shook the wall and the pictures that went up the stairway.
Our lips stayed locked, and I could feel the anger leaving my body with each of his thrusts. Harder and harder, he banged my body up against the wall. I should have said no, but I liked it. I enjoyed feeling his primal thrusts and wanted more and more of it. I wanted to feel him inside me for hours on end.
My arms stayed wrapped around him as I held on tightly.
“Fuck me, oh God, yes.” I heard myself say as I closed my eyes in pleasure.
“Cum for me baby. Cum hard.”
His voice was like a commander telling me what had to be done. I listened.
My body started to tense up, and I could feel the rush of excitement filling up every fiber of me. I tried to press against him; I wanted to slow his thrust because the intensity was so much for me. But his thrusts kept coming, and my whole body let loose with excitement.
