“You OK?” Heather touched his cheek when they stepped off the train. “I thought I lost you there for a while.”

He shook his head to force the images away. “Just memories from a long time ago.”

“You had a rough life, huh?”

  He shrugged. “Maybe.”

“We don’t have to talk about it.” Once they were on the street again, she grabbed his hand. “It’s not far from here.”

They walked towards her apartment, Dominic trying to shake the visions of walking with Noelle. A few times, they had met away from the venue and taken a walk under the stars. Those months were precious to him. She didn’t harp on the negatives, just went with it… until the end of the tour.

He couldn’t stop the guilt that was budding. It made no sense, but he felt like going home with Heather was wrong. Even though Noelle said there was nothing between them anymore. What else could ignoring him mean? He needed her badly that night and she left him high and dry. How could she just abandon me?

“You OK?” Heather saw a conflicted expression on his face.

Dominic closed his eyes for a few seconds. “Yeah. Just haven’t done this in a while.”

“With you being a big rock star, that makes sense.” She worried he was having second thoughts. “If you’d rather do something else, or just go home, I understand.”

He shook his head. “No. This is cool. My head’s just kinda cluttered lately. I’m sorry.”

“Hey, I get it.” She smiled as they approached her building. “You probably have half a million things to do this weekend.”

With a sigh, he replied, “I do. It’s Tommy’s birthday Saturday, and we’ll be in Boston Sunday and Monday. My life is kinda confusing sometimes.” He groaned. “Damn it!”

  “What?”

“I was supposed to pick up Tommy’s gift this morning. I forgot.”

She rubbed her thumb over the back of his hand. “There’s still tomorrow.”

  “Yeah, true.”

They walked up the stairs in silence. Dominic looked around. Even on the outside, it was nicer than his place. Once he saw inside, he realized how small his apartment really was. The kitchen and living room were huge.

“This must be nothing compared to your home.” Heather put her bag and keys on the kitchen counter. “I can’t imagine how huge it is.”

He took a deep breath and quietly uttered, “You’d be surprised.”

“Huh?” She had wandered down the hall to her bedroom.

“Nothing,” he called after her and sat on the black, soft leather couch. “Wow.” He hadn’t even gotten new furniture in 15 years. Except for the kitchen appliances, it was exactly as it was when Claire left. “Nice place!” he shouted, hoping she could hear him.

She came back without her shoes, also having changed into shorts. “Thanks. I make decent money at the club.” With hands on her hips, she watched him for a minute, then asked, “How do you take your coffee?”

  “Black with sugar.”

Heather hopped; glad he agreed to come over and went right to the kitchen. After checking the coffee canister and several cabinets, she sighed. “It seems I’m outta coffee. How about tea?”

“Whatever is fine.” He wasn’t too keen on coffee at night anyway. He couldn’t think of anything else. “Do you got any herbal tea?”

“Yep, I can’t stand black tea. What’s your favorite?”

He pursed his lips and thought for a moment. “You got peppermint?” It might remind him of Claire, but that was better than thinking of Noelle.

“I sure do. That’s my favorite.”

It was her favorite, too. He closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind once again. All that did was make Noelle’s sexy body come to mind. He wondered what she was doing.

  Chapter Fourteen

Even to her own surprise, Noelle was out with Mitchell that night. After the concert, she had been low; lower than ever before. She promised herself she wouldn’t call Dominic again. He didn’t call her back. She had forgotten she did not leave him a voicemail.

“You need a refill?” Mitchell asked, pointing to her empty glass.

She smiled, quite drunk, and nodded. “Yeah, need to get so smashed, I forget.”

He put a hand through her hair, wishing she wasn’t hung up on Dominic. “He doesn’t deserve you.” His voice was low enough she didn’t hear. He stood and waved their server over. She had their drinks quickly.

“So… You wanna fuck?” Noelle was slurring badly already. She hoped Mitchell could help her get over Dominic. Her heart broke when he didn’t call back. “I need to get laid!” she shouted.

Mitchell’s eyes widened. Many had heard her. “Don’t worry, baby. I’ll take care of you tonight.” He winked at the young men at the next table.

“Good.” She sipped at her new Long Island Iced Tea. My head’s spinning, or is it the room spinning? “I gotta take a piss.” She stood and stumbled, falling onto Mitchell.

He laughed. “Maybe we should go.”

  “Pee first.”

He walked her to the ladies’ room and waited for her outside. Women smiled at him as they passed. He never had trouble picking women up. However, he wanted Noelle. It seemed she finally wanted him too.

“OK, let’s go fuck.” She careened into him as she stepped out of the bathroom.

Catching her, Mitchell bit his lip. She was so willing. He couldn’t wait. He tugged her out to the street and hailed a cab. “Take us to the nearest motel.” He paused. “A decent one.” He sat back and was shocked when Noelle tackled him.

She straddled his lap and pressed her lips to his. “Fuck me here.”

“No. No. Not here.” He couldn’t do that to her. She was special. A groupie in a cab, maybe, but not Noelle. “Soon, baby. We’ll have a big bed to ourselves soon.”

She slumped against his body. “Promise?”

“Yeah.” Mitchell ran his fingers through her hair. “Anything you want.”

He kissed the top of her head. It was the first time she came on to him. Even when they had kissed about a year ago, he had been the aggressor. She shoved him away after kissing him back. He could feel she enjoyed it, though. Was she using him, or had she decided he was enough for her?

Noelle sighed. Mitchell’s fingers were so soothing. “Like that.” She ground her panties against his crotch. “Gonna fuck me hard?”

“If you want.” He gasped as she rubbed his erection through their clothes. “Fuck,” he whispered into her hair. Maybe I’ll just let her ride me for a bit. His eyes rolled back. Then he realized what was going through his mind. If he treated her like that, she would never forgive him.

For the rest of the trip, Noelle didn’t say anything. She had started to confuse Mitchell with Dominic. Her mind was fuzzy, and her awareness was almost nonexistent. She felt the body beneath her, but was not sure how she got on top of him.

“Come on. We’re here.” Mitchell paid the driver and helped Noelle out of the car. She stumbled as she walked towards the building and he rushed to catch her. He grabbed her around the waist just before she fell on her face. “God, you’re drunk.” He didn’t realize she was so plastered.

She laughed when he pulled her body against his. His stiff cock pressed into her ass. “You gonna use that thing on me finally?”

His entire body shuddered. “Hell yes.” He got them a room and carried her up to the second floor over his shoulder. After closing the door behind them, he laid her on the bed. “You still awake?”

Noelle looked around, wishing the room would stop spinning. “Yeah.” Then she focused on Mitchell standing at the foot of the bed. The bulge in his pants strained to rip them open. She crawled to him and grabbed his waistband. “Time to fuck.”

With a grin, he watched her open his pants and free his erection. She hesitated before touching it. He wondered if she really wanted him, or was so drunk she was confused. Then she sucked half his length into her mouth.

  “Oh, fuck yes.” He moaned
loudly while her lips moved up and down his cock. “Yeah, baby.” His hand moved to her head, fingers running through her hair. She sucked harder. “Just like that.” He gasped. The head of his cock bumped the back of her throat. He had the urge to thrust into her mouth fully, but resisted. “Noelle. God, Noelle.” He fisted her hair, the pleasure building already.

She had her eyes closed; not wanting to see it was Mitchell’s cock down her throat. Since she couldn’t have Dominic, he would have to do. His loud moans started to turn her on, though. Her mouth moved faster, getting into it even more.

“Stop.” He lifted her head, letting his dick slip out of her mouth. “I don’t wanna… cum like this.” He panted, his orgasm abating slightly. He pulled his shirt off and tossed it on the floor. “Do I need a condom?”

Sitting on her heels, she stared at him standing next to the bed, completely naked. His thick cock stood out, still wet with her saliva. Is this really what I want? She wasn’t so sure anymore. His smile made her falter. He was so sweet sometimes.

“If you don’t want to, it’s OK.” He watched her for a few seconds. When she began to get undressed, he did a fist pump. “Can’t wait to feel you.”

She closed her eyes as she removed her panties. The bit of lucidity faded. Instead of lying down in a sexy pose, she fell back, her body crumpling.

“You OK?” Mitchell climbed onto the bed and cradled her cheek in a hand. She looked up at him with glassy, unfocused eyes. “You into this?”

She nodded, which made her dizzy. Her eyes closed, but she couldn’t move anything else. Lips on her inner thigh were a surprise. They trailed up, then down again, brushing the back of her knee as well. Then he went on to her other leg. She wanted to react, but she couldn’t.

Breathing in the scent of her arousal, Mitchell grinned. She wanted him. He ran a finger along the seam at the top of her thigh. She shivered, and he smiled. He toyed with the moisture at her opening and heard a gasp. Sliding a finger in, he closed his eyes. He had been waiting for this day too long. After adding another, he leaned down and teased her clit with his tongue. Her pussy gripped his fingers.

“Wish you were gripping my dick already.”

He couldn’t be selfish, though. It wasn’t his style. Even with groupies, he made sure they came before he penetrated them. His dick was throbbing and pre-cum dripped onto the blanket beneath them. He was so horny; he didn’t notice Noelle had stopped moving.

As soon as he knew her canal was slick enough, he moved up her body and kissed her lips. “You didn’t answer me. Do I need a condom?” His hips were between her thighs, the tip of his cock poised at her entrance, hoping she was good with bareback. “I wanna really feel you. Can I do you without one?”

She lay there, unresponsive. He kissed her lips again. Nothing. With a groan, he realized she passed out. He debated fucking her anyway. His balls were aching. Her mouth had felt so good. He pushed just the tip in, and his eyes rolled back. So tight… Fuck! Frustrated, but unwilling to take advantage of her, he pulled out and got off the bed.

“Why couldn’t you’ve waited until I was fucking you already?”

His eyes raked over her naked body. She was so beautiful. He fisted his cock and stroked it slowly. He had jerked off to her image hundreds of times. This time, he could do it while he looked at her. He knelt between her legs and started jerking his erection harder. It would have to be good enough until she woke up and consented.

Within maybe a minute, his mouth dropped. It never happened so fast. “Fuck, Noelle…” He cried out her name, shooting semen onto her belly and breasts. With a final shudder, he almost collapsed on top of her, but put his hands out to stop his fall. “Next time I’m cumming inside you.” He grinned, and then kissed her lips again.

After cleaning them both up, Mitchell lifted Noelle and laid her under the covers on the other queen bed. He snuggled up behind her and pulled her into his arms. “It’s gonna work out for the best.” He kissed her cheek. “I love you, Noelle.” At least he thought he did. He fell in love with many women.

Elsewhere, Dominic and Heather were still fully dressed, drinking tea on her couch. “How about we watch a movie? I’m not remotely ready for bed.” She thought someone like him expected sex right away, so he would most likely stay over.

“Um, O-K.” Dominic was becoming a bit nervous. She turned him on, but he could never move quickly. He was hoping they could talk some more. Although, he didn’t know what to say other than, “What kinda movies you like?”

She walked to the entertainment center and scanned the DVDs on the side. “I’m versatile. Romantic comedies, foreign films, drama, musicals, documentaries…” She glanced at him and laughed. He had a look of horror on his face. “I’m kidding.” She pulled out Thor. “I like action and comedy, too.”

Dominic sighed with relief. The last thing he needed was another chick with shitty taste in movies. “You scared me there.”

“I know.” She chuckled. “I was trying to.” The impish smile on her lips disappeared when he grinned as well.

He read the title and felt even better. “That’s one of my favorites.” He shifted and got more comfortable, the tension tapered off. “Good choice.”

She put the DVD in and settled down next to him, their thighs touching. Her hand rested on his knee. “I like this one. Thor’s hot.”

Resisting the urge to jump, Dominic gritted his teeth. He did not like her taking the lead. It wasn’t that he was super-dominant, but he normally dated women who did not make the first move or any moves. Groupies were eager, but only because of who he was. They’d fuck him in the ass if he asked them to. He hated that in a woman.

“So…” Heather slid her hand up his thigh.

Dominic stopped her progress quickly. “Slow down.” He turned her head to look at him. “We got plenty of time for that. I wanna know you first.”

She smiled, pleasantly surprised. “OK.” One glance at the front of his pants told her, he was not sporting a hard-on. “Have you ever had sex on a first date?”

Choking on his tea, Dominic sputtered, “Wh—what?”

“You’re a rock star. You don’t have to pretend you don’t fuck girls in every city. I wasn’t expecting you to pretend to be a gentleman.”

He coughed a few times, trying to make the tea in his lungs come up. When he had recovered, he looked at her wide-eyed. “Pretending?”

“Yeah.” Heather gave him a stern look. “Just be yourself.”

After a deep breath, he put his mug down. “This is me. I don’t pretend, even for groupies. I’m known as the quiet, serious one. Google me if you have to. I’m not faking. This is who I am. I don’t rush things with girls I like.”

Heather blushed. He likes me? Cool. She smiled. “I believe you.”

He put an arm around her shoulders and laid her head on his chest. “This is enough, OK?”

When the movie ended, Heather looked up. His gentlemanly ways turned her on. “So, now that it’s over…” She kissed his lips. The urge to feel his body against her grew which each brief touch of his lips.

Dominic let things flow for a change. Her lips were soft and made him forget his heartache for a while. Then she straddled his hips. He grasped her arms and tried to push her back, but she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Her kisses became aggressive. She couldn’t wait much longer. The heat building between her legs begged for his touch. “I want you,” she whispered as she ran her tongue around his ear. “Fuck me.” She ground her hips into him.

His dick was hardening and he could do nothing to stop it. She rubbed it so well. He stopped fighting her, but still could not allow it go too far. Then she reached for his fly. He grabbed her hand. “No. I can’t.”

“Why? You want me.” Her hand gripped his hard cock through his jeans. “I feel it.”

“I do, but… But I can’t do this. Not yet. I’m sorry.” He lifted her and set her down next to him. Then he got to his feet. “I should go.”

She stared at him with her mouth open for a few seconds. No one had ever turned her down. “You’re just leaving with a fucking hard-on like that?”

He met her eyes and saw hurt. “I’m sorry. It’s not you. If I were different, you’d be on your back already, but I can’t do that. Groupies I can just fuck or whatever. When I like someone, it needs to be different.”

She relaxed. He wasn’t rejecting her. It was actually kind of sweet. “So, then I’ll see you again?”

“Yeah. How about Saturday? Tommy’s party?”

  “It’s a date.”

  Chapter Fifteen

Tommy liked playing host, but that night was different. It was his birthday, so he hired a pair of strippers to do it for him. They walked around scantily dressed, making sure everyone was having a good time. He, on the other hand, got to enjoy the party. Even more so because Dean had not come. With the odd behavior he had been displaying, their friendship was faltering.

The apartment was full of famous rockers, actors and girls, lots of them. He knew most personally, but some had just shown up. Tommy was famous for having wild orgies on his birthday. Many had flown in just for the party.

“So, where are we gonna do it tonight?” Brenda, one of the strippers, slunk up behind him and ran her hands over his hard chest. “Kitchen table or living room floor?”

With a smile, Tommy answered, “I’ll surprise you.” He liked Brenda. She knew to leave the minute he came if they were alone, and she wasn’t clingy.

He walked around the room and greeted all the newcomers. Then he sat next to Shane Martin, the lead singer from Silverblade. It was the first time he had shown up at anything Tommy invited him to in months.

“How’s it going?” Tommy gave him a wide smile.

Shane shrugged. “I guess better.” He sighed. “Still can’t find a bassist I like.”
