“You saw the show?” Noelle was surprised.
Tia came back with a pad and pen. “Yes! I was in the pit, but couldn’t get all the way up front. Both your bands were great.”
Dominic wrote her a note: To Tia, The girl who made my first time painless. Love, Dominic Spinelli. He handed the pad to Noelle who punched his arm. “What?”
“Really?” She showed him the message he wrote. “You had to put it that way?”
He shrugged. “That’s what they want.”
She shook her head. Although she understood it meant nothing to him, she knew it meant a lot to the girl he wrote it for. She thought for a minute, wanting to compliment his words. Then she wrote, “Dear Tia, Thanks for making my man join me. Love, Noelle Young.” She laid it on a counter nearby and hoped onto one of the tables.
“Come on, Dom. Please,” Noelle pleaded, while Tia pinned her hair up. “Come hold my hand. I like sharing this with you.” She soon settled onto the pillow and relaxed.
For a minute or two, Dominic watched Tia work on Noelle. It didn’t seem so bad. No one would know anyway. He took off his hat and lay down on the free table. “I can put my own hair up.” He put out his hand and took the hair tie and bobby pins. Not wanting whatever they were going to use getting in his hair, he made sure all of it was out of the way. Then he lay down and reached out to Noelle. “Only for you.”
“I know,” she mumbled and gripped his fingers.
After cleaning up, Dominic stared at the spa workers. He observed the two women set up bottles of who knows what and took a step back. “Uh, not sure I need this. I’ll just watch.” The facial had not been as bad as he expected, but a pedicure?
“With your feet in boots so often, you need one.” Noelle rolled her eyes when he made a funny face. “Man up.” She tried to keep a straight face, but couldn’t.
He glanced at her just as she burst into hysterics. “What?”
She gasped between fits of laughter. “Wait…” Bending over, she struggled to control herself. She couldn’t get the image of him getting his toes painted out of her head. “Damn…” Finally able to draw a decent breath, she uttered, “You’d look so cute with pink toenails.”
“I won’t paint your nails, sir,” Leilani promised.
Noelle stood and took her shoes and socks off. “Dominic, do this with me. Please?”
“God, how do you get to me so easily?” he grumbled kicking his boots off.
When they had also gotten manicures, it was over. Dominic left each woman who worked on them a large tip before they walked back into the lobby. Hours had passed by then. He draped an arm over Noelle’s shoulders and steered her to the hotel’s rear exit. They stepped onto the boardwalk, the sun a shock.
“I’m hungry,” Dominic announced. “Let’s go find a café or something.”
Noelle pulled sunglasses out of her purse and donned them to ease the glare. “Great idea. They walked until they saw a place with outdoor seating. “I want to watch the waves.”
There was a great view of the ocean to the left. Dominic went inside to see the hostess. “I need two outside. Can we just chose any table?”
“Sure.” She grabbed two menus and silverware sets. Then she followed him. After getting them settled, she smiled. “Someone will be with you in minutes to take your drink order.”
Dominic adjusted his hat and checked the beverage options. When he had made a choice, he glanced up at Noelle who was staring at the ocean. He did the same. It was calming. Not that he was uptight.
“Where would you like to look at beach houses?” He turned back to the menu, checking out appetizers first. “I mean like East Coast, West Coast, North, South?”
Noelle shifted her attention and grinned at him. “I can help you choose?”
“Of course.” His eyebrows rose. “It’ll be our place, so you need to have a say in it.”
She stiffened. “Our place?” That sounded a lot like commitment.
“Hey…” He reached for her hand. “I’m not asking you to move in with me. Just share a vacation spot. I know this relationship was scary for you at first.”
She took a deep breath and admitted, “It was, but...” Closing her eyes, she forced the nervous feeling away. “I know you’re not him. I want to let the fear go.”
He knew the whole story of her and Stephen. How he cheated on her more after they moved in together, and how she caught him fucking some chick days before their wedding. He wasn’t sure if he could handle living with someone, either. Although, waking up to her did not bring back painful memories. It made him feel secure.
“Baby steps, OK?” He kissed her hand. “So far, I think you’re doing great.” Squeals made his head turn. Several young girls headed their way from the boardwalk.
“Oh my God!” one screamed. “Noelle Young? Is that Dominic Spinelli hiding under that hat?”
Dominic turned away. “This may’ve been a bad idea.” He had been recognized a lot more since their relationship was broadcast worldwide. Suddenly regretting kissing her in front of thousands of fans, he closed his eyes. “I’m sorry. This is all my fault.”
Noelle ignored him and turned to the women. “Do you want an autograph?” Excited nods had her searching for a pen in her purse. When one was thrust in front of her, along with an envelope, she inked her name. Then she handed it to Dominic. “You, too.”
He sighed and did the same. Then he took off his sunglasses and waved to the fans. “Nice to meet you. If you don’t mind, we’re about to have lunch.” He was relieved when they left, but everyone sitting outside was staring. “Maybe we should go hide in the room.” He still didn’t like the attention, even after years of it.
“No way.” Noelle glared at him. “This place is beautiful.”
By the time they had their entrees, they had been hassled by almost constant interruptions. If it wasn’t Dominic’s fans, it was Noelle’s. When two groups of giggling girls sat next to them, Dominic couldn’t take it anymore. He felt like they were watching his every move. Tossing his napkin on the table, he stood up and went inside.
“Can you move us inside?” he asked the hostess. “Somewhere out of the way, and maybe not so crowded.” He looked around, but didn’t see anything like that.
She had noticed the commotion that perpetually surrounded him and his date. “I’ll find something for you.” After another look at him, she tried to figure out who he was. Then he took his sunglasses off, and it hit her. “You’re Dominic Spinelli?” She had seen him on TMZ the night before, arm and arm with… “Wow, and Noelle Young.” Keeping control, she smiled. “I know just where to move you to.”
Dominic was glad she didn’t get all giddy. “Thanks. Please don’t tell anyone who we are. It’s bad enough already.”
“I won’t.” She gave him a small smile. “My little brother is a big fan, though. He wanted to go to the concert last night, but Mom said he was too young.”
“Really? How old is he?”
She looked up at him. “Eleven, but he’s your biggest fan.”
“Maybe we could make his day.” Dominic loved making young fans’ dreams come true. “Do you have a marker and paper?”
She hurried to get the items. “You’re going to give him an autograph?”
“Much better. What’s his name?”
Nervous, she replied, “Ben.”
He quickly wrote, Ben, wanna hang out with me? Dominic Spinelli. He held up the paper. “Does he have a phone?”
“Yes.”
Dominic grinned. “Take a picture of me holding this, and send it to him.” He took off his hat and waited. After she had done it, they waited. A reply came back fast. He leaned over to see the text.
OMG, serious?
He laughed softly. “Tell him yes, I am.”
They planned the meet as she seated them in a corner booth. Noelle knew Dominic had a big heart, but had no idea how much he cared about young fans. She wondered if he wanted more children. She knew he was not young. Neither was
she. The nine years between them made her wonder, if he was willing to wait.
“So 7 o’clock it is.” Dominic nodded. “I wish I had my guitar.”
The hostess was beaming. “Me too, but he’s going to be on cloud nine. Thank you.”
Dominic waved a hand. “It’s my pleasure.” They stayed at the café until Ben arrived. Dominic greeted him with a warm fatherly hug and a pat on the back. “Ben I want you to meet my girlfriend, Noelle.” They shook hands. “Sorry you couldn’t see us last night. How about next time we’re in town, I invite you and your family…” He looked up at their mother. “To a private show or something. How does that sound?”
Ben jumped for joy. “Sounds killer.”
They spend about 30 minutes talking, taking pictures and discussing Ben’s favorite songs. Dominic told him about the new album and the upcoming tour. Noelle just watched, surprised how at ease he was with the young man. After about an hour, Ben’s mom decided it was time to go.
Noelle and Dominic soon walked outside and began their journey to check out the boardwalk nightlife. The sun had set and the lights were on. Both had shed their sunglasses in order to see. They were able to enjoy the scenery without too many interruptions.
By the time they had made it back to their room, they were both tired. “I’m getting old,” Dominic mumbled as he undressed in the bedroom.
“Why’d you say that?” Noelle was untying her sneakers.
He exhaled loudly. “I’m exhausted.”
“We had a long day,” she reminded him. “And you didn’t get much sleep. We’re staying until Monday, right?”
“Yep.” He tossed his dirty clothes in corner. “Then back to my place?”
She smiled. “Yes. Why don’t we sleep in tomorrow?”
“Sounds good.” He headed to the bathroom. “I’m gonna take a shower. Hope I won’t be alone long.” He turned and winked at her, then disappeared into the room.
When Noelle heard the water turn on, she quickly shed the rest of her clothes. Then she padded soundlessly into the bathroom. She watched Dominic through the shower door for a while. He was washing his hair.
“I see you out there,” he told her.
She smiled and opened the door. “I was admiring the view.” She stepped inside with him. “And what a view it is.” She loved watching the water run down his body.
“You’re a beautiful sight yourself.” He shook his head, water flying everywhere. When she ducked, he laughed and pulled her under the spray. “I like you all wet, too.” He pressed his body to hers, wishing he had more energy. “Can I wash your hair again?”
She leaned her head on his chest. “Sure. If you want.” When he was done with her hair, she reached down and stroked his cock until it began to thicken. “I feel something I want.”
Dominic groaned, and then grabbed her hand. “Not now.” He hated himself for saying it immediately, but he was drained beyond belief. “Let’s get some sleep first.”
“I’ve never known a man who could turn down sex before you.” She caressed his cheek with her free hand. “I won’t have to wait too long, will I?”
He grinned, then yawned. “Sorry. You won’t. Once I get some sleep, I’ll be good.”
They finished washing and crawled into bed. Dominic urged Noelle onto her side and spooned her from behind, his arms wrapping around her. He loved holding her so close. Not in a million years did he ever expect that he would find the love of his life, twice, but he had. She was what he had been missing for years.
“I love you,” he whispered in her ear.
She grasped his forearm in both her hands. “Love you too. ’Night.” She smiled and closed her eyes. After Stephen, she had not expected to find love again. However, she was very glad she had.
Chapter Thirty Nine
Their last day at the hotel, Dominic woke up startled. He sat up and looked around frantically, panting. When he found Noelle still asleep beside him, he closed his eyes, relieved. She had turned away from him in the night. The dream had felt so real. He cuddled up against her back and held her close. If he lost her too, he wouldn’t survive it. The fear slowly faded, but the image of her dead eyes haunted him.
He kissed her temple. “I love you. Don’t ever leave me. Please.”
It was the first nightmare he had where Noelle was the one who died. He had the accident one many times before, except now, when he turned to the right, Noelle was sitting in the car next to him. With several deep breaths, he let it all go. It wasn’t a memory, just something that terrified him.
She squirmed against him, her ass pressing into his morning erection. Gritting his teeth, he held in the moan at the tip of his tongue. Waking her up had not been his plan. However the more she moved, the stiffer his cock got and the more he wanted her. Desire was preferable to fear.
His hand slid down her body, slowly gliding over her belly to her pubic hair. He toyed with it, thinking about how she refused to shave it off again. By the time he grazed her clit, Noelle was stirring. Soft sounds passed her lips, her eyes still shut. He rubbed it a little harder and she moaned.
Noelle gasped, not understanding why she felt pleasure while she dreamt of their beach house. The home faded and was replaced by a bedroom in the middle of a field. Dominic lay on top of her, his fingers inside her somehow.
“Dominic…”
He smiled and thrust his fingers deeper. “Wake up, sweetheart. I want you bad.” His lips brushed the top of her ear. “Tell me you want me.”
“Dominic,” she called out again.
She was suddenly aware she was dreaming. Dominic’s voice echoed in her head. His erection pressed into her ass cheek. She reached for him, but caught only air. Then his breath washed over her ear and her eyes opened.
“Please wake up,” Dominic begged. When he saw her eyelids flutter, he grinned. “Were you dreaming about me?”
With a moan, she replied, “Yes.”
“Want me to make it come true?” He curled his fingers within her and pinched a nipple.
Noelle’s body tensed and quivered at the same time, pleasure flooding her core. “Oh God, yes! Dom-in-ic!”
He withdrew his fingers and pressed the head of his cock into her. Holding her close he thrust in deep. “Finally.” He gasped as he pulled back and drove in again. Then he pulled out. “I wanna kiss you.” He urged her onto her back and moved over her.
She looked up at him. “Better than a dream.” Love filling her heart, she caressed his cheek with the back of her hand. “Always is, with you.” When he possessed her again, her eyes rolled back for a few seconds. Then she grabbed a handful of his hair.
When she pulled his face down, he took advantage and brushed her lips with his. Slow strokes and soft kisses. That was not what he wanted, but what they needed for a while. Suddenly, her legs wrapped around him, and she grabbed his ass.
“Harder,” she pleaded.
Confused, he hesitated. Then her fingers dug into his skin, and he complied. Hips moving fast, he groaned and clung to her, lips against her neck. Her back arched, and he felt her about to orgasm again. Quickly, he pressed his lips to hers, and his pace intensified. She screamed into his mouth, her pussy throbbing around his dick. He shuddered with pleasure.
She clutched his side and fisted his hair while her entire body rode the wave. No man had ever made her feel like Dominic could. Fighting to look at him, she caught glimpses. A look of ecstasy was what she found.
“Damn, Noelle,” he whispered, then nuzzled her neck. “Feels so good.” He continued to thrust quickly while she writhed under him. “Love you.”
Noelle gasped as an aftershock rocked her. She yanked Dominic’s hair unconsciously. “Goddamn!”
“Ow.” He winced as his head went back. She had a good grip. He had to slow down, so he could pry her fingers open.
She met his eyes. “Sorry.”
“It’s OK.” He kissed her lips several times. She had stiffened, and it concerned him. “You all right?”
&n
bsp; Nodding, she bit her lip. She wanted to make that morning special. After taking a deep calming breath, she softly said, “Roll us over.”
He gave her a confused look. “Huh?”
“Roll us, please.”
Unsure, he tried to read her expression. She was most definitely nervous. “You sure?”
“Yes.” She held on tight as the room spun. When she was on top of him, she closed her eyes, hands gripping his shoulders and her lips almost touching his. “I love you.”
He ran his hands down her back and over her ass. “Love you too. If you can’t handle it, it’s OK. Really.” He ground up into her, slowly. “We can try again some other day.”
“No, now.”
She planted her knees on either side of him and moved forward a bit, then back. It felt nothing like being with Stephen, but the fear was still there. She rocked her hips a bit faster. A hand in her hair made her look up. Dominic’s smiled fueled her. Her pace picked up, and his mouth dropped open, his pleasure obvious.
He grunted as he struggled to hold back. No way was he planning to be quick while she was on top. His eyes shut while the feeling faded. Then he gazed up. She smirked and pushed against his chest, rising to her knees. He stared at her, in awe.
With more confidence, she slid her hands down his body, until they lay on his flat abdomen. Their eyes locked, she lifted and dropped over him, again and again, gradually picking up intensity. A few memories surfaced, making her doubt herself and her pace waned.
Seeing the pain in her eyes, Dominic lifted her hands and held them to his chest. “I’ll always be faithful to you. I swear.” A tear rolled down her cheek, and he quickly swiped it away. “I promise. Even if we’re apart for months.”
Overcome with emotion, Noelle fell forward and hugged him tightly. “I know.” She trusted his love and commitment. “Me too.”
Holding her as well, he drove up into her over and over again, wanting them to cum together. He gasped and listened to her moan. His body shuddered as he worked harder to satisfy them both, his breathing ragged.
