  “Let me please.”

Shocked, his hips instantly stilled. He whispered, “You don’t have to.”

“Please.” When his grip loosened, she got to her knees again. “I need to give you this.”

He sighed and smiled, watching her get comfortable. Then he gripped her thighs when she tightened around his shaft as she lifted up. “Fuck.” She had never done that before. After coming down, she did it again. “Noelle… God, Noelle…” His voice trailed off as his eyes rolled back. She squeezed him with each stroke as she rode him faster and faster.

The expression on his face encouraged her. It felt just as amazing for her. The head of his cock rubbed her sweet spot deep within with every pass. He gripped her harder and started gasping loudly. So close. Tilting her hips just a bit, she gritted her teeth, wanting to wait for him to explode. Then he let out a hoarse cry, and she allowed the feeling to wash over her.

Dominic clung to Noelle as she collapsed onto him, thrashing, crying out and trembling all over. His cock pulsated as semen filled her. The simultaneous orgasm was beyond his expectations. He couldn’t let her go. They both panted and whimpered, trying to gain control of their bodies.

“You OK?” he asked when he could talk.

She nodded, still trying to catch her breath.

He stroked her hair. “That was… something else.”

“Yeah,” she mumbled into his neck.

With a wide grin, he held her until she shifted her hips. “I’d like every morning to start out like that.”

Lifting her head, she mimicked his smile. “Me too.” Placing a gentle kiss on his lips, she reveled in the love emanating from him. “Maybe some day.”

The room phone rang. Dominic stretched to reach it. He had to drag Noelle with him to pick it up. It was their requested wake-up call. “Sorry, but it seems we have to get a move on.” He pouted. “And I was just getting started.”

“Sounds like you’ll have to make it up to me at your place.”

He kissed her hard. “Yep. So glad you’re coming home with me.” Although it was temporary, it was a start. “Let me know when I can come out to Seattle to see you.”

“I will.” She slowly climbed off him, groaning when his cock dislodged from her pussy. “I don’t think I can stand to be away from you for long.” She walked right to the bathroom and closed the door.

Dominic took a deep breath, then got to his feet. He looked around the room. After three days, they had unpacked most of their stuff. He started the task of packing everything back up. When Noelle came out in a towel, she joined him, and they made quick work of it.

After eating warmed-up leftovers, they checked out and packed the rental car. The drive up to New Jersey was quiet for the most part. Noelle fell asleep while Dominic drove. Then she took over the second half of the trip. Neither of them wanted their time together to end. However, Dominic had purchased her ticket home already. She compromised with her bandmates and planned 10 days at Dominic’s place.

“Hey, where do I get off?” Noelle shook Dominic. They were on I-295 and she couldn’t remember if the exit was 28 or 29. “Dominic… Wake up. I think we’re close.”

Groggily, he replied, “Huh?” He sat up straighter and looked around. Then he realized where they were. “Next exit.”

“Glad you got up. I thought I was going to wind up in like Philly or something.” She laughed. “Is it hard for you to sleep in a car since—” She pursed her lips, wishing she could take it back. “Sorry.” She grabbed his hand and squeezed. “You don’t have to answer.”

After breathing deeply, he looked at her. “It used to be.” He caressed her hand. “Until I told you, I had nightmares sometimes.”

“Glad I helped.” Her heart swelled, and her eyes watered.

He leaned back and closed his eyes again. Wish there was a way I could make you stay. He hoped they could look at beach houses before she went back, but that meant they’d have to decide where to look. Minutes later, they were on his block.

Just as Dominic opened the apartment door, his phone went off. He checked the screen. “It’s Tommy.” He accepted the call and put the phone to his ear. “Hey, Tom. What’s up?”

Shaking his head, Tommy sat on his couch dumbfounded. “We tested Dean again.” He still couldn’t believe it. “He fucking passed somehow.”‘

“Wait.” Dominic walked inside and tossed his things on the couch. “What do you mean passed? As in not even pot in his system?”

Tommy shrugged. “None that came back positive, but he’s gotta be on something else. Dude, he’s been acting all kindsa crazy. Can you fool those tests?”

“Yeah, but usually it’s all clean.” Dominic was just as shocked. “Did he piss in front of you guys again?” He nodded at Noelle and waved at the living room. “Go ahead, and get comfortable.”

Hearing, Tommy said, “Noelle’s with you?”

“Yeah, we just got back to my place.” He smiled as Noelle sat on the couch. “She’s gonna stay for a few more days.”

“Good.” Tommy was happy for his friend. “You need her around more. I’ll let you go. Have fun.”

  “Later.”

Noelle tried not to listen in, but she had caught the gist of the conversation. Dean was becoming a problem again. That was not good. She was not going to let them think about him, though.

“Come sit.” She patted the place beside her.

Dominic tried to shake thoughts of Dean away. The results made no sense. Unless he bribed the lab tech, or had someone else take the test for him. That meant he would have to do the tests from, then on.

“Please?” Noelle’s voiced raised a bit.

He turned to her. “Sorry. Dean’s just a trainwreck waiting to happen.”

“You can worry about him tomorrow.”

“Yeah.” He sat next to her and threw an arm over her shoulder. “Maybe I should get a place in Seattle.”

Her mouth dropped. Where did that come from? She tried to think of something to say to that, but nothing came to her mind except, “Why?”

“So we’ll be closer.” He pulled her to him. “Missing you is gonna suck.”

She wished she could tell him it was a great idea, but the reality was it wouldn’t work. “What about your parents? And your band? And…”

He put his fingers over her lips. “I get it.” He sighed. “It’d be hard. Maybe my parents would like to take a trip. I could hire someone to come with us.”

“As long as it’s just a visit.” She leaned her head on his chest, facing reality. “You can’t move them out there. It’ll be too confusing.” They stayed silent for a while, until Noelle thought of something. “I could move out this way. Just go back to record and stuff.”

Closing his eyes, Dominic hugged her. “Maybe, but it would be a big deal.” He wanted to offer her to move in with him, but that place held too many memories. “I think I’m going to buy a house and move out of here finally.”

“You sure?” She was worried he wasn’t ready.

He nodded and leaned his chin on her head. “I have to let them go.” Memories washed over him. “So we can move on together.”

She patted his thigh. “We already are. Baby steps, Dominic. Take baby steps.” She ran a hand up his back. “How about we start by looking at beach houses?”

With a smile, he pulled back and lifted her chin. “Good idea.” He took her hand and pulled her to the bedroom. His tablet lay on the nightstand. Sitting on the bed, he picked it up. “So, up here or somewhere warmer?”

“Not too far.” Noelle sat next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder. “You need to be close to your parents.” She did not want him sacrificing his responsibilities for her. “How about we start by Tommy? You said he lived near Atlantic City. Right?”

Dominic nodded. “Yeah. It’s nice down there.” He searched for homes for sale near Tommy address. There was a long list.

Noelle checked out the prices. “Wow. That’s crazy.”

  “Wh
at is?”

She pointed at the screen. “Three million dollars? For a house?”

“Yeah, it’s beachfront property.” He realized she could not afford that. “Don’t look at the prices. Just help me choose what’s right for us.”

“Well, we don’t need six bedrooms.” She looked down the list. “Maybe two?”

He lifted her hand to his lips. “You’re looking at prices again. Keep in mind that we both have family and friends we might wanna invite over.”

“True.” She sighed and forced herself to ignore the price tags. “That one’s nice.”

Dominic liked it as well. He clicked on it. It was less than a mile from Tommy. He flipped through the pictures provided. It had five bedrooms, three bathrooms, wraparound covered porches on both floors and a huge kitchen. The two million dollar cost was easily handled.

“Nice.” He went back to the main page again. “We can go look at it tomorrow. If you don’t like it, Tommy knows a realtor. We’ll keep looking until we find the perfect place.” He turned and met Noelle’s eyes. “OK?”

She smiled. “OK. Just don’t tell me how much you pay. Deal?”

“Deal.” He kissed her lips softly.

  Sneak Peek: Reckless

  by Bella Jeanisse

  Chapter One

It was a Sunday in mid-January, two months before our 18th birthdays. Chad and I were both born in March. We lay on his bed about a foot apart, as we often did. It was something intimate yet innocent, for the most part. We spent a lot of time in his room doing homework, playing video games or even just talking, as we were that day.

When I was eight, I moved into the house next door. It was the greatest thing that ever happened to me to that point. For about 10 years, Chad and I had been best friends. I couldn’t imagine my life without him in it. I seemed to be the only one able to handle his intense personality. He was highly impulsive and impatient.

Most thought it odd that I had a male best friend. However, I couldn’t relate to most girls I met. I had a handful of female friends. Well, most were really acquaintances. Drama and gossip drove me up a wall, so I kept them at arm’s length.

Chad had been quiet for a few minutes. I glanced over at him and he was deep in thought. He might have been thinking of the college applications he had sent in. There were no answers yet, but it was still early. I knew he was hesitant to leave me behind, so I tried to apply to schools near the ones he chose.

With his grades, SAT score and potential, I wanted him to think big. He applied to all the Ivy League universities. He was not keen on it, though. His parents’ paychecks were stretched thin as it was. Southwest New Jersey University had already offered him a full scholarship for his advanced technical skills, which they planned to put to use.

I did not have a preference of schools, although I had thought about applying to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Without a car, it would be complicated. My parents were not well-to-do. Our local school also had an extensive music department. That was truly my first choice, and I already knew some people who were attending.

“Crystal, I got an idea.” Chad picked up my hand. It looked so tiny in his. “You should join Reckless. We need you.”

I laughed, glad he wasn’t thinking about school. “Join your band? You’re kidding.” His blue eyes were serious, though.

“I’m not. You’re so much better than Phil. And you know all our songs, too.”

That was true. He and I played them all the time. We also did a lot of Gasoline’s music as well. Gasoline was our favorite band. They came from our southwest New Jersey town.

With a shrug, I answered, “They’d never let me play.” His bandmates often looked at me like a groupie.

“You just have to prove it to them.”

I turned my body to face him and smiled. His look of desire made me bite my lip. My body reacted to him being so close. It was somewhat frightening. I was deeply attracted to him. Between his long blond, curly hair, strong manly features, the well-defined six foot four body and the slight aggressiveness, I found him irresistible.

Before I started something, I pushed the thought away. “You really think I can do it?”

His fingers traced my jaw. “Of course I do. You’re beautiful and talented, the perfect combination.” A finger slowly slid down my neck then into my cleavage. “And showing these babies off wouldn’t hurt. When you gonna let me—”

I grabbed his hand and put it on his hip. “I don’t know, Chad. Stop pushing.” The thought of him touching my body turned me on so much, it felt wrong.

“I’m not pushing, just asking.” He leaned forward and kissed my lips. It was not our first kiss. “You turn me on so much.” He put a hand in my hair as he kissed me stronger. “Let me be your first. Please, baby girl. I’ll be as gentle as possible.”

With shaking hands, I pushed his chest. “I’m scared, and I’m not ready.” I had held off on sexual intercourse because of many reasons. Fear of pain being one of them.

I had also held off on going further with Chad. We kissed often. Sometimes almost getting carried away. More than once, he had asked to fondle me. I always refused, although my body yearned for it. His hormones seemed to rage out of control anytime I was near. I hoped it wasn’t a recipe for disaster. Maybe there was something to what they said about men and women being just friends; it was impossible.

He hugged me tightly. “I’m sorry.”

I could feel how hard his cock was against my thigh. My mind reeled with confusion. I wished I were ready to lose my virginity. He would probably be the best lover. He cared
so much. He’d make sure I was OK. The thought of losing his friendship put the brakes on that idea quickly.

“Baby.” He was running his fingers through my hair. “Are you mad?”

I took a deep breath and put a hand on his waist. “No. Chad, you know I care about you, but… I just can’t lose you.”

  “You won’t, I—”

Suddenly, I blurted out, “What about Dana?” It bothered me that he came onto me even when having a girlfriend. Although I knew he held back with them, it was confusing. “Does she mean anything to you?”

“Not as much as you do.” He took my face in his hands. “If you agreed to be with me, I’d never need anyone else.” He brushed his lips over mine.

I closed my eyes, understanding a little bit. He loved me, but he was lonely. He needed to have a life, too. I was between boyfriends, so I understood the loneliness. The last one dumped me because I refused sex.

“Chad! We’re here!” we heard from outside.

“Fuck, man!” Chad groaned and reached into his pants. “They’re gonna tease the hell outta me for this.”

I got off the bed and turned away from him. “I’m sorry.”

“Hey, it’s not your fault.” He put his hands on my shoulders. “I gotta learn how to control my dick.”

We walked downstairs and through the house to the garage quietly. I could hear Daniel Brandt messing around with his drums. Chad’s mom, Valerie, let them go in through the house when it was cold out. She didn’t usually mind the noise from practices. However, she wasn’t thrilled Chad spent his free time on music instead of working on his planned major in college, computer science. I knew he could handle both. He was the smartest person I knew.

I sat on a folding chair as Chad pulled his guitar out of its case. Watching them set up, I realized how diverse the group was. Andy Pierce, the singer, and Daniel were friends of Will, Chad’s older brother. Both of them were already 20 years old and in college. Phil Ferris, the rhythm guitarist, and Jay Morris, the bassist, went to high school with us. Phil was a sophomore and Jay was a junior.
