She twisted enough to reach for something within the folds of the tablecloth behind her. Facing him again, she tapped an envelope against his chest and blew out an indignant stream of breath. “I got another piece of your mail in my mailbox.”
With his free hand he plucked the bill away and took a brief moment to contemplate the situation. “You know, there’s really only one thing to do about this mix-up with our last names and addresses.”
Her lashes fell half-mast as his captured fingers drew lazy patterns on the inside of her thigh. “And what’s that?”
“Marry me, and make my fantasy come true.”
An ecstatic smile curved her mouth, and her eyes glowed with delight. “Now there’s a fantasy I’d be more than happy to fulfill.”
