Waiting for Rain Page 12

by Susan Mac Nicol

My cock rammed itself against my trousers, begging to be set free. I’d done it in a shower before, but nothing like this and definitely not with someone like Rain Engel. If you’ll pardon the obvious pun, this was a wet dream come true. Growing impatient with my lack of action, he bounded over to me, slid the loose tie off my neck, and unbuttoned my shirt with urgent fingers. I stood there, letting him undress me. I grew harder and hornier with every touch of his fingers against my skin, every lick of his lips as he concentrated on getting my clothes off my very heated, willing, and eager body. Finally, I was buck naked, standing in all my glory with a hard-on that just begged for relief. Rain kicked my clothes into the corner of the bathroom and eyed me up and down. He nodded. “Very nice indeed,” he growled. “Do you want to undress me or should I just get naked?”

“Just get bloody naked,” I said huskily. “I’m getting cold standing here in the altogether.”

He took off his clothes with alacrity, and soon he was standing naked before me, his cock very ready indeed. Ready and definitely bigger in the light of the bathroom than I remembered. I could still feel the fullness of him in me from the haystack episode, and I swallowed. He reached down and stroked himself, the first drop of precome glistening at the tip of his penis. My breath grew deeper, and he smiled lazily. “Soon. But first, I want to get that dirty body of yours all wet and glistening.”

He moved over to the wet room, fiddled with the knobs, and soon jets of water were streaming from openings both above and on the side of the shower, a hedonist’s fantasy. It cascaded down in transparent sheets from the showerhead and jets from the side. Taking my hand, he got into the shower, pulling me in behind him.

The hot water was a real turn-on, as was the man standing in front of me. I cupped his face in my hands, tasting his mouth, feeling the water run down my face and into his mouth, which was warm and very hungry. He gripped my slippery hips, pulling me toward him as we kissed. Our cocks ground together, sharp thrills of sheer pleasure coursing through my groin as his hard, silky heat met mine. I groaned, and his tongue got even busier in my mouth.

“God, Toby, what you do to me,” he whispered huskily when we came up for air. “You are so bloody sexy. I want to wear you.”

I laughed breathlessly. “Ditto, Rain. I have never had as many hard-ons in my life as I’ve had since meeting you. You’re the gay man’s Viagra.”

He chuckled, sliding his hands down my backside, parting my butt cheeks, and teasing my crease. I hissed at the sensation, feeling his fingers slowly caress my hole teasingly. I reached down, stroking myself, slow strokes from root to tip, feeling the sensation multiply in my groin as Rain slid a finger gently inside me. Water ran down my body, and the slick wetness of Rain felt so good as he clasped me tightly and fingered my arse.

I finally found my voice. “Rain, I want to feel you inside me. Get that condom and lube and crank him up.”

He chuckled. “Jesus, Toby, take the romance out of it, why don’t you.” He reached for the condom packet, ripped it and fitted it over himself, then reached for the same pineapple lube we’d used at the haystack and squeezed it onto his fingers. I loved the sight of him wet and sultry, his hair plastered to his head, black as night against a pale face, his blue eyes focused on the task in hand.

“Turn around and face the wall,” he commanded. I did what I was told, placing my hands against the cool tiles, leaning slightly forward. He pressed himself against my back, kissed my shoulder, then ran his tongue up my neck. His cock pressed in between my butt cheeks, sliding slowly up and down, and I shivered at thinking where it was about to go. He placed his hands over mine on the tiles, fitting himself to me like a glove as he licked the wetness off my neck and rubbed himself against me.

Then one hand moved down to my arse, and slowly, deliberately, he slid a finger inside me. I closed my eyes and let the water run down into my mouth as he teased me gently with one finger then two, loosening me and causing ripples of pleasure to circulate like bubbles of a whirlpool on the sensitive skin of my hole. His teeth nipped at the skin at the nape of my neck, then he licked the bite languorously. His fingers scissored in my arse, driving me crazy. He chuckled, wet lips against my heated skin, and I was truly surprised that steam didn’t rise from my body like a Grecian bath. I moaned loudly as his fingers pushed deeper inside me.

“God, Rain, please…,” I whispered. “I need you inside me.”

“I love it when you beg,” he whispered as he withdrew his fingers. I groaned in frustration, as I wasn’t sure that was what I wanted either. If there had been a way to have both his fingers and his cock inside me at the same time, I’d be all for it. He moved, pulling my hips slightly toward him, and I gasped as he slid into me, no holds barred, simply plunged in deep and firm. I pushed back to take him deeper, spreading my legs and pressing my hands against the wall to balance me.

“Jesus, this just gets better,” he gasped as we moved together in rhythm. I’d fucked in a shower before, but this was different. Rain behind me, his hands gripping my hips and caressing my stomach as he thrust himself in and out of me, the hiss of his breath on my bare shoulders and back—it was a cornucopia of feeling and emotion that I’d never experienced with such intensity before. He reached around, grasping my cock as he continued his lusty movements. He stroked me, quick, hard strokes, and I moaned. I took one of my hands off the wall and covered his with mine, helping him.

He groaned loudly behind me. “Hell, I’m so close, but I want you to come first.”

“I doubt that will be a problem,” I said in a strangled voice. “I’m almost there. Just keep up what you’re doing. God, you feel so good inside me, Rain. Move over just a little bit, just there….” My voice trailed off as he hit that sweet spot of my prostate, and I lost my breath as he did it again and again. I could feel his grin against the bare, wet skin of my back as he nipped gently. My mind shut down, entering a different space, and for a minute there was nothing else but the feel of the man behind me and the sweet taste of water as it cascaded over my head and into my mouth.

If anyone ever invented a virtual-reality environment that could slow down time, this shower just had to be one of them. It seemed like time did stop for a while, as I relished every movement, every touch, every flutter of Rain’s lips and eyelashes against my skin. His hands were skillful and knew how to bring me to the edge and draw me back. Finally, I could go no longer. I gave a loud moan as my cock decided it had had enough, and my thighs tensed and my inner muscles tightened as I came. Our hands were covered with my come, spurting out in hot, sticky streams onto my stomach and the shower walls, only to be washed away by the strong pressure of the water still raining down. My knees buckled, and Rain’s strong arms held me up. He kept up his thrusts, and I pushed back against him. I locked my hands behind his head and pulled him forward, searching for his mouth. His lips latched on to mine as he groaned loudly at the feel of my tongue in his mouth.

“Oh God, you taste so good,” he managed to get out in between frantic kisses. His hips were bucking frantically against my backside, and I could tell he was close to orgasm. It only took one last thrust of my tongue deeply into his mouth and a sultry, wanton groan from my throat and he swore loudly, his body shuddering as he climaxed. He gripped me so tight on the hips I was sure I’d have bruises. His ragged breath warmed my ear, and finally we sank into each other, both exhausted but totally satiated. The water continued to drench our naked bodies, and we simply stood there, still connected, and let it do its magic.

“Toby, that was hot.” He nuzzled my neck. “You are so hot. What the hell did I do to deserve a sex bomb like you?”

I laughed softly as I disengaged us and turned around to see him fiddling with the filled condom.

“I have no idea. Maybe good karma?” I licked his lips, enjoying drinking the water off him. I picked up the shower gel, poured it into my hand, and started soaping him down. I swear he preened like a cockatoo as I lathered soap over him. He did the same
with my body, and soon there were two soap-sudsy men once again getting hard in a shower. It was a match made in heaven, and I didn’t want it to end anytime soon.

THE NEXT six weeks, we spent as much time together at Rain’s cottage as we could possibly manage. We’d gotten into a routine, flirting and teasing each other during the day, using the garden hut occasionally, and threatening Lucas and Tammy with death if they spied on us. I found myself spending lunchtimes, ones that I’d normally have worked through, grabbing a quick sandwich and a cup of coffee with Rain and Lucas in the Canterbury Bar. I’d sit in between Rain’s legs as we ate our lunches on the floor, listening to him and Lucas insult each other and tell stories about their past exploits. They were incredibly good friends, and Rain was lucky to have him.

I occasionally caught glimpses into Rain’s past. He was very fond of his family, now all living back in South Africa, and I’d heard him on the phone to his parents and older brother a few times. But when he spoke to his brother, Nick, for some reason his accent deepened, and I’d never heard anything sexier. He used it in bed sometimes just to turn me on. I had no idea what it was about it that drove me wild, but I loved hearing it.

Whenever Tommy was mentioned in conversation, I bit my tongue, as he seemed to me to be a narcissistic twat. The relationship between the two had seemed very weighted in Tommy’s favor. I gathered Lucas felt the same, based on conversations we’d had when Rain wasn’t around. I marveled at the fact the Rain I knew had put up with it, but I guessed he’d been a man in love.

Tradesmen in the bar would come and go, fitting the lighting and the plumbing, and my job was to make sure they all came on time and left only when the job was finished. Rain and Lucas were good at helping. I confess that half the time I left the management of the other artisans with their “creative temperament” to them.

Rain had already pissed off one of the electricians by telling him loftily he didn’t think he knew what the bloody hell he was doing. The man had thrown a complete hissy fit, and I’d had to soothe his ruffled feathers. I’d glared at Rain, who’d simply shrugged uncaringly.

“The man’s a complete tosser, Toby,” he’d said with a scowl. “He doesn’t know his wires from shit.” I’d glared at him, and he’d gazed at me guilelessly. At least he hadn’t said anything else to the guy since then, so I counted my blessings on that one.

Simon had left for Cadiz four weeks ago, after promising me he’d be back soon to see how things were going. It had been a real wrench for me to say good-bye to him. I’d hugged him, feeling as if one of the pivotal stalwarts of my life was lost to me. He’d hugged me tightly just before the taxi picked him up, his voice choked.

“This isn’t good-bye, Toby. Just au revoir, my boy. I’m too fond of you to just leave you like that. I’ll always be there for you. And you have Rain now. He’s a good man.” He’d sounded wistful, and I’d felt my throat choke up. I had to tell him I knew.

  “Simon, I’m sorry.”

He’d looked at me. “Sorry for what, Toby?”

I’d swallowed. “Sorry that maybe I didn’t see how you felt about me—”

He’d reached over and kissed my lips—nothing sexual, just a man who cared for me deeply. I was glad whatever physical attraction that had been there was no longer.

“Hush, Toby. It’s not your fault. Over the last year I noticed my feelings getting more intense. I tried to hide it, to push it down inside, take women out in an effort to forget I cared so much for you.” He smiled sadly. “That’s the beauty of being a bisexual man, I suppose. And I’m thirteen years older than you, and you deserve someone your own age. I wanted to say something when we were alone in your room that night. Then that bloody Alan had to interrupt us, and I lost my opportunity. Perhaps it was for the best.” He kissed my cheek. “You care for Rain a lot, don’t you, Toby? Don’t leave it too long to tell him. Not like I did with you. Be happy, my Toby.”

He’d kissed me again then, slightly harder than before, and turned and walked away. I’d watched him go, my chest tight, the tears pricking in my eyes. Later that evening I’d been quiet, and Rain had wisely let me grieve for the departure of my friend and mentor. He was slowly learning the art of both patience and empathy. Of course, it hadn’t lasted too long before he was unzipping me to take my cock in his mouth, but I counted myself fortunate he’d restrained himself as far as he had. And I wasn’t going to complain about having his incredible mouth on me.

One evening, in the quietness of the hotel office, Tammy and I sat talking. She’d gotten into the habit of staying longer at work to avoid Neil. I was waiting for Rain to pick me up to go back to his place. He was out with a client somewhere, giving them a quote for a study.

“You were right all along, Toby. I’m going to tell Neil on Saturday that I don’t want to see him anymore,” she said quietly as we drank our coffee. “Lucas said he’d be there with me if I wanted him to, but I thought that would be a bit off. So Rachel said she’d be there with me, because Neil won’t try anything if there are two of us.” Rachel was her best girlfriend.

I nodded. “I guess you wouldn’t want me there adding fuel to the fire,” I joked. “But you know I would if you wanted me to, right?”

She nodded. “I know.” We sipped our drinks in companionable silence.

I looked at her over the rim of my cup. “So things with you and Lucas are going okay? You two have hit it off pretty well.”

Tammy smiled, her face transforming into that of someone on their way to falling in love. I knew what that looked like. I saw it in the mirror every morning and night.

“Yes, we’re doing fine. I just hope Neil doesn’t make things difficult for him.”

I snorted. “I’d like to see him try. Lucas is a big bloke, and Neil won’t stand a chance.”

She giggled. “Yes, Lucas is big.”

I raised an inquiring eyebrow. “How big is he, then?” Her face blushed beet red.

“Toby, stop that! God, you have a one-track mind. We’re not like you and Rain, who go at it like bloody rabbits.”

She sounded a little jealous, and I chuckled. “Can I help it I have an insatiable boyfriend who loves my body? And my mouth and my big—”

Tammy reached over and placed a finger on my lips. “I get the picture. Keep the rest to yourself.”

“There was a time, young lady, when you wanted to know all the sordid details. But now you have your own fantasy, I guess mine aren’t as interesting anymore….”

I ducked as she threw a book at me. It narrowly missed my head. I laughed.

Tammy laid a warm hand on mine. “Anyway, how are things between you and Rain? You two have really become a couple in the last few months. I’m so pleased for you, Toby.”

I sighed. “Yeah. But sometimes I’m not quite sure where we’re going with it all. Sometimes I feel just like his fuck buddy. Then other times he surprises me and does something really thoughtful. I have no idea what the man’s feeling. He’s a man of action—he thinks by screwing me senseless he’s communicating his feelings. It would be nice to hear him say something romantic once in a while.” My tone was wistful.

“Rain isn’t one for emotions, Toby. But you’re wearing him down slowly.” She glanced at me. “You’re in love with him, aren’t you? It’s all over your face.”

I nodded. “I think so. God help me, as the man’s as frustrating as hell. He blows hot and cold. But when he’s blows hot, my God. He’s incredible.”

  We grinned at each other.

“Simon called yesterday. Did you speak to him?” Tammy picked at a pink Post-it stuck to the desk with the words “Meat carvery—check menu” written on them. I wasn’t sure what that was all about. It wasn’t one of mine.

“Yes, we had a chat. He seems to have found someone out there—a chap called Luis? He hasn’t said much about him, but I get the idea he quite likes him. I’m glad. He deserves to find a nice bloke. He’s coming back soon for a visit. I’m looking forward to seeing him.”

There was a loud knock on the door. I looked up to see the smiling face of my boyfriend.

“Hey, you two. I knew I’d find you here. You’re like a couple of old women, sitting comparing your stories in front of a fire. Except in your case it’s a couple of PC monitors.”

I scowled at being called an old woman and stood up. He moved over to me, giving me a quick peck on the lips before turning to Tammy and doing the same. He seemed extremely hyped up.

“Are you ready to go?” He motioned eagerly to the doorway, hopping from one foot to another. “After you, Toby. Beauty before brains and all that.”

I looked at him in suspicion. “What’s up with you? You’re like one of those bloody meerkats we were watching on the Discovery Channel the other night.” Rain had introduced me to these little animals from his birthplace, along with a running commentary that had more than once made me want to stuff one down his gullet. Rain could be a real smug know-it-all.

“You’ll have to wait until we get to my place,” he said with a sly smile. “I think you’ll enjoy what I have set up there. I was working on it yesterday when you were at work all bloody day and night.”

“Sounds interesting,” Tammy murmured. “I’d get off if I were you, Toby. He may turn into a pumpkin or something at midnight.” She giggled.

I smiled, leaning down to kiss her good-bye. “See you in the morning, then.” I turned to the man still bobbing excitedly before me. “Let’s get off before you self-combust with excitement.”

He grinned slyly. “No, that would be what a haystack does.” His face brightened. “Did you know they can catch alight from the fermentation inside at their core and set themselves on fire? Thank God it didn’t happen the night we—”

I leaned in, kissing him fiercely. I had no intention of letting the wide-eyed Tammy know what we’d gotten up to in the farmer’s field. “Shut the hell up and let’s go.”
