by White, Jane S.

“Let me talk to her,” he whispered, a bit of humility laced in his voice. Lydia, who could easily hear them, stayed quiet, not knowing what to do. She tried to quiet her sobs, but they were too loud to ignore. Sebastian whipped his head toward the stall Lydia was hiding inside of and stepped forward, about to break open the door if he needed to.

“Leave her alone,” Victoria commanded, walking in front of the stall, trying to block his entrance. Sebastian stared her down, his emotions getting the best of him. His magic seeped out, slowly wrapping itself around the helpless human until she was susceptible to his whims. Obediently, she walked away, making her way back to the photography studio.

Lydia was horrified as she heard her friend walk away. Why was Victoria abandoning her? Feeling vulnerable, Lydia closed her eyes, thinking that maybe when she opened them, this would all be some kind of horrible nightmare.

“Lydia?” Sebastian’s husky voice came through the door as he knocked gently. Lydia sat there, not saying a word. She didn’t know what to do. What did he expect, that she would take him back with open arms? He had used her for his own sick pleasures. She may never forgive him.

“I know you are upset. And you have every reason to be, but please I have to talk to you.” He sounded sincere as he said the words. He was dying to see her face once more, to hold her against his body, to feel her soft lips on his. He shuddered to think that he may never have any of those things again. He had to fix this, one way or another. He had already fallen for this human and now he had to have her, not just for her purity, but for his own sanity.

“Please. Do I need to beg?” He whispered again. Lydia thought for a moment but then made her way out of the stall slowly, looking up at him, her eyes full of tears. He frowned, looking down at her, gently wiping the tears away.

Slowly he took her hand and pulled her over to a couch in the lobby. Wetting a small paper, he gently began to clean her face. Lydia didn’t know why she was letting him interact with her in this manner, after what he did, but at the same time, she couldn’t pull herself away.

“There, now you look beautiful again.” He smiled down at her, before kissing her forehead. Lydia was too numb to do anything other than just sit there. She didn’t know how she should react. Soon, he sat down beside her, his hand creeping its way to hers. Lydia’s heart started to race as the old emotions she had for him, began to reemerge. What was it about this man that made her want to be with him so badly?

She frowned and sighed looking at him. “Sebastian… I don’t know… what you did…”

“It’s a complicated story… but I swear, I only have eyes for you.” Lydia actually laughed at his statement.

“Right. You a saint too?” She said snidely, finally finding the courage and voice she needed to lash out at him. “You were engaged to someone else and dating me at the same time… tell me how that is faithful?” She spat out, getting up and looking down at him, her unique eyes burning with a hatred she didn’t know she had.

Sebastian however, couldn’t stand this treatment from Lydia of all people. He got up and in a flash he grabbed her, his hands resting on her cheeks, pulling her into a passionate kiss. His lips pressed into hers roughly, his thumbs gently caressing her cheeks. She couldn’t believe what was happening and was in a state of shock as he continued to kiss her, trying to reignite the fire he had seen her burn with, whenever she was by his side.

As Lydia stood there, Sebastian’s lips pressed against hers, she realizes something. This kiss was sincere and as he kissed her further, there was no denying the emotion in his actions. Whether he was completely honest or not, he had feelings for her, deep feelings.

Despite her better judgments, Lydia’s walls crumbled under his insistent kiss, until she was kissing him back, her hands barely grabbing onto his arms as if she would pull away at any moment.

Eventually, he pulled away, feeling her run out of breath. He looked down at her, trying to determine what she would say next, but her eyes told him nothing other than his own emotions. His hands were still on her cheeks, keeping her close. Sighing, she looked up at him. “I want answers,” she said, neither forgiving him nor reprimanding him.

“Absolutely,” he whispered, leaning down, kissing her forehead again. This time, however, she recoiled, making him realize that his chance with her wasn’t as sure fire as he thought it was.

As all this happened, Ivy had watched from the door. If this human female thought she could steal her prince away, she had another thing coming. They would both pay for crossing her. Ivy smirked as her mind thought of countless different ways she could make the little girl squirm underfoot, like a mouse trapped by a cat. Soon Lydia would be in her clutches. She would regret ever meddling in the affairs of demons.

With this thought, Ivy walked down the hall, her hips swaying with her every step, her heels clicking on the marble floor with a distinct click, click, like the ticking of a clock, counting down the hour of reckoning.

  Chapter 5

Lydia soon found herself in Sebastian’s car once more. She sat down, trying not to look at him as he drove quickly in some unknown direction. She, however, did not pay attention, trying to keep her mind clear, in case he tried to pull anything else with her. All she wanted were honest, straight-forward answers.

“I’ll explain everything… but we need to get some privacy… the walls have eyes you know.” He said, pushing the speed limit. Lydia did not answer. She just sat there, picking at the seat with her small fingers, trying to keep her emotions in line. Even now, she could feel her body react to being so close to Sebastian. She couldn’t believe she was yearning for him, even now, after everything he did.

But to her relief, they soon reached their destination. Sebastian helped her out of the car, offering her a hand. She ignored it. Instead, she got out of her own accord, bypassing him as she looked up at the hotel in front of them. “Where are we?” She asked, narrowing her eyes at him. If this was another one of his tricks she wouldn’t be at all happy.

“This is a hotel my family owns.”

“It’s called Perdition…” Lydia whispered, trying to figure out why someone would want to name their hotel after eternal punishment.

“Yeah… my mom isn’t very apt at naming things.” He said, trying to cover up his tracks. Lydia looked at him suspiciously, but before she could say anything, he grabbed her hand and brought her inside. Without an issue, he grabbed some keys from behind the counter and made his way up to the penthouse suite.

He unlocked the door, inviting her inside. Lydia was a little overwhelmed. Surely, only a billionaire would be able to afford this luxury. As she looked at Sebastian, she wondered just how rich his family was and how they came to acquire all this money.

“Sit down please,” Sebastian said, pointing to one of the comfy looking sofas, decorating the room. Lydia hesitated for a moment, before walking over to it and sitting down. He looked at her and took a deep breath.

“Her name is Ivy. Yes, technically she is my fiancée, but it wasn’t my choice. I swear. My family is very rich and has a lot of connections, especially with her family. They want to solidify the bonds between our families by getting us to marry. So they arranged our marriage.”

“This is the 21st century, I am pretty sure arranged marriages don’t exist anymore, well at least not in the States.” Lydia clarified, looking at him suspiciously. There was something about his words that made her feel like he was lying to her.

“I’m telling the truth. Like I said before… I don’t like her.” His eyes were sincere as he reached forward and took her hand, before pulling her into his lap. Lydia’s eyes grew for a moment, thinking of the situation they were in. She was all alone in a hotel room with him. She bit her lip as her mind reeled back to all their naughty moments. She wanted to remain strong and stay away from him, but at the same time, she knew she wouldn’t be able to keep away from him forever.

As he leaned down and kissed her, closing the gap between their lips, he
r walls came down and she was left defenseless against his assault. Soon he had her laying down on the couch as his own body pressed against hers, making her moan out softly as her cheeks turned red in the heat of the moment.

Her mind went blank and her body took control as her arms wrapped around his neck, bringing him even closer. She wanted to be with him. There was a yearning she couldn’t satisfy with anyone else as she looked up into his dark mysterious eyes. There were so many things that she didn’t know about him, but in this moment, she didn’t care about them. She just wanted him. Now.

As if possessed by some unknown force, she suddenly took control, rolling them over, until she was on top, straddling him. She leaned down, a devilish grin on her face, her eyes darkening, the green sliver in her eyes seeming to glow as she kissed Sebastian’s neck.

In a sudden, desperate need for him, she started to tear away his clothes. Sebastian was shocked. He had never expected, Lydia, the almost angelic human he had come to know, to behave like this. Had his powers tainted her? Nonetheless, he wasn’t about to complain.

Lydia grinned, before lustily taking off her own clothes, teasing him with her body. Soon she was leaning forward, her chest in his face. She looked down at him, slowly pulling his hair until his face was buried in it. Sebastian grinned, reaching up and unlatching her bra, letting it fall off. He tossed it away, before reaching up and grabbing her large breast in his mouth, sucking on it hard.

She moaned out in pleasure, shivering as she grabbed his member and rubbed it hard, taking full command of the situation. This was not like her, and yet she loved the feeling of exhilaration that coursed through her as she controlled the powerful man beneath her. She wanted to see him squirm with lust for her. Grinning once more, she started to jerk him off, faster and harder, until it was too much for Sebastian to handle.

He grabbed her and carried her over to the bed, tossing her onto it playfully. He enjoyed her little show of dominance, but he was the one in control here. He pounced on her, pinning her down, harshly thrusting his way into her, making her scream out. “That’s it, scream for me,” he whispered in her ear, as he continued to pound into her, harder and harder until the whole bed began to shake with his efforts.

His member rushed in and out of her, making her quiver with pleasure as she succumbed to her desires. She arched her back, screaming out his name, loud enough for the whole hotel to hear, making Sebastian smile with pride. She belonged to him once more.

  Chapter 6

Lydia couldn’t believe she had given Sebastian another chance, but there was no denying the inexplicable amount of pleasure he could give her. It was as if one look from his dark eyes could push her toward a frenzy of emotions. Yet, she almost felt ashamed of her now dark habits.

For this reason, they kept their romance a secret. They would sneak their way into Perdition and spend the night together in bliss, without anyone knowing. Lydia did not want to admit she was committing these dark acts of desire, where she moaned out his name long into the night with her thighs around him.

So they snuck around, with their love a secret from the world. On the outside Lydia still looked like the saint she always was, but once she got into the hotel room with Sebastian she would peel off that layer, letting her naughty side shine. They thought they were masters of the world, fooling everyone, but as Sebastian said, the walls have eyes, even at his family hotel.

In the shadows, dark beings crept, unlocking their secrets, taking them in, committing them all to memory so as to expose them in the near future. Of course, these beings would have their fun first. With this, Ivy grinned, sinking deeper into the shadows of the candlelit hotel room, until she disappeared. The last thing she heard was Lydia begging for more.

  ***

A few days later, Lydia was at her apartment, alone. She was watching some TV, enjoying a lazy day at home when there was a knock on the door. She tilted her head, not expecting anyone, but opened the door nevertheless. To her surprise, the beautiful woman who had kissed Sebastian was standing there. How did she know where Lydia lived?

Uninvited, Ivy walked inside, swaying her hip and clicking her heels, until she was in the middle of the room. Lydia was left holding the door, a little thunderstruck at the woman’s crassness. “Pitiful home.” She mocked, looking around at Lydia’s brightly decorated place.

Her words broke Lydia from her trance and brought her back into the present. She looked up at the tall woman, before walking up to her, trying to look unafraid, even though she was well over a head shorter. “Get out,” Lydia said, her voice wavering more than she wanted it to.

Ivy just smirked, stepping closer before she leaned down until her face was close to Lydia’s. “Make me.” She taunted. Lydia looked at her, narrowing her eyes. Who did this woman think she was? Reaching into her pocket, Lydia was about to pull out her phone and call the police. “No, no, don’t go calling for help.” Ivy wagged a finger in Lydia’s face as she clicked her tongue in disappointment.

Lydia tried to pull away as Ivy’s hand wrapped around her wrist, but it was useless as her grip was vice-like and her eyes were now malicious. Lydia shivered a bit, thinking she was in trouble. “Get out!” She yelled loudly, hoping someone, maybe even her neighbor would hear her.

“Shh… don’t be so loud.” Ivy placed one thin finger against her red lips, a deadly grin painted on her face. Before Lydia could react, the woman leaned forward, kissing her deeply. Lydia was helpless as the demon’s magic seeped into her own body, making her submit to the will of the powerful succubus.

As the kiss intensified Lydia felt herself kissing back as if she were enjoying herself. She wanted to pull and run away, but she was powerless to deny the beautiful woman. Instead, Ivy suddenly slammed her into the nearby wall, making Lydia groan in pain. Ivy smirked and leaned down, kissing the human’s neck, her sharp teeth about to sink into its tender flesh.

Lydia shook with a mixture of fear and pleasure. She wanted to scream out and call for help, but at the same time, Ivy’s powers made her yearn for the woman. She wanted to stay in her embrace for the rest of her days, to please the woman, to make her happy. Ivy smiled, sensing her powers come to culmination as Lydia’s body became weaker, now possessed with a dying need to serve the demon.

Satisfied, Ivy sunk her teeth into her flesh, thin lines of crimson running down her skin, using it as a lustful canvas. Ivy’s hand reached up grabbing her breast, kneading it with her fingers as her other hand ran along her side, her long nails ripping apart her flesh with ease until her side was also covered in red.

Lydia felt herself weaken as the demon’s tongue reached out, lapping the blood from the wound, teasing her. Lydia gasped, as her energy was drained from her body, making her close her eyes. She felt like she was moments away from death as everything slowed down. Her thoughts were foggy and unclear. Her body became numb. Everything around her was losing its color and focus, slowly melding together into the oblivion that is death.

Ivy grinned in success, knowing the feeble human would soon be no more. Then Sebastian would have no choice, but to be with her. He should have known better than to cross someone like her. She would leave this girl here, to choke on her own blood, to die all alone with no one to mourn her. Ivy smirked, before letting Lydia’s limp body fall to the ground, gathered into a small, pathetic heap.

  Chapter 7

“Get away from her!” An angry demand emerged from the doorway. Ivy looked up, a little surprised to see an angel standing there, looking furious. She chuckled, seeing him stare at the dying human.

“Aww… is this human precious to you?” She asked, a taunting attitude in her voice as she smirked, moving closer, unafraid of the angel. She puckered her lips and winked, mocking him even more. “I call it the kiss of death.”

Aaron promptly lost his reserve and lunged forward, tackling her to the ground. Ivy was quick, her nails digging into his skin, drawing his blood. Aaron however, in his rage, couldn’t feel the pain of her venom trying
to destroy him from the inside out. All he could think about was destroying the demon who had hurt Lydia.

In a frenzy, his power intensified as he saw Lydia struggling for breath. He had to be quick about this or Lydia wouldn’t make it. He was about to punch Ivy in the face, but as he looked down, the demon was no longer there. Instead, she was behind him, grinning with glee as she picked him up, tossing him into a nearby wall, the picture frames falling to the floor with a loud crash.

Aaron groaned, but got up, his eyes turning bright with heavenly fire as he ran towards her, charging. Breaking through the wall, they ended up in the bedroom. Focusing all of his energy, his wings emerged, filling the room with a brilliant light. They expanded to their full length, looking intimidating to the demon who now cowered from the powerful energy. She had never seen an angel possess this much power.

Before Aaron could deal the fatal blow, his wings now like blades he could command with a twist of his body, Ivy was gone, fading once more into the closest shadow of the room, retreating to the Underworld.

Aaron stopped, seeing her escape and cursed under his breath. He should have ended her when he had the chance. Now she had the opportunity to come back at any moment, to get him or Lydia at any time that proved convenient to her.

But he didn’t have much time to think about this as he remembered Lydia. Quickly, he ran back into the living room, his wings still dancing with untold holy energy. As he looked at Lydia, her light skin even paler than usual and her neck and side still bleeding, he feared the worst. With tears in his bright blue eyes, he moved toward her, kneeling as he held his breath.

He couldn’t lose her. To lose her would mean losing his purpose in life. He couldn’t exist without her. Filled with untold emotions, he slowly leaned down, pressing his head into her chest, praying for a miracle. All was silent for a moment, making Aaron shudder at the thought that he had failed.
