Holy fuck. He never forgot to wrap a rubber.
“Err-”
“I’m on the pill. Thank you for asking.”
“Hallelujah!” he cried out, because there was no way on earth he was stopping now. “And I’m clean. Now, if we’re done chatting, I’d like to fuck my girlfriend’s brains out.”
He was finally seated to the hilt, and he needed to move – now, before he came like an unpracticed teenager.
Piper lifted her head, frowning.
“Girlfriend?”
“Are we really having the talk right now?”
She looked like she wanted to, so he pulled out all the way, and thrust back inside her sheath, hard, making her moan out loud.
“Nope. No, I’m good without the talk.”
Ben was elated, amused, as they moved together – she pushed her hips up to meet his, and roamed her hands over him, squeezing his ass, removing his top, and raking her nails against his skin. He’d never had this; the sex, accompanied with laughter, smiles, and so much more.
He would have loved to say he fucked her like a porn star, but it didn’t last. They’d both waited to do this for too long; his rhythm got out of control, hard and fast, even though he tried to will himself to keep it nice and slow, and she didn’t help, begging him, encouraging the frenzy.
He felt her clench, ready to come, and he unleashed his basest instincts, pounding wildly, groaning, biting down on her nipple. They were two beasts taking what they needed from each other, until the inevitable end.
“Fuck.”
If he’d known it could be half as good, he would have hunted her down till the end of Earth.
Then, out of the blue, he chuckled, confessing, “I was going to offer to take the couch.”
Piper giggle, and replied, “I call you Scrooge McFuck.”
That one made him laugh out loud, for some reason.
“What now?”
The laughter had died on her lips, because she was his little worrywart. Ben traced her lips with the tip of his finger, thinking about the ring he had in his suitcase... as well as the divorce agreement. That one made him wince, imagining the conversation they’d have about it.
He’d use the ring, and soon. But now wasn’t the time. She wasn’t ready – half frightened, thinking about her daughter.
“Now, I’ll spend time with you. I’ll make you laugh, and we’ll chill together, with Maya. I’ll learn what makes you tick. Now, we’re going to be the best of friends,” he told her, reciting the requirements she’d given him what felt like a lifetime ago.
And then, when they’d done all this, he’d have a question to ask her.
