They both had removed their coats, boots and other winter garments before Jackie pulled Jill into a tight embrace. “Please Baby, don’t let Joni taint the most awesome night of passion we’ve had. I love you and making love with you is so amazing…no matter where we are.”
The sentiment from Jackie warmed her heart as she nuzzled tighter into the embrace, but she was still humiliated that Joni not only heard the echoes of her climax but acknowledge it by the admonishing tone in words spouted on the other side of the door then later the other side of the wall. “I love you too,” she said in her neutral almost placating tone. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to look her in the eye without turning red.”
Jackie grinned at the seriousness of Jill’s expression when she pulled out of their embrace, “Come on…it smells delicious and I’m starved. Besides, Joni is as stoic as they come and you can bet she won’t say a word.”
Jill wasn’t convinced but reluctantly returned Jackie’s grin, “It does smell good.”
“Okay then…let’s grab some grub and then head out to your place.”
Moments later, Jill sat nervously at the table and the reassuring pat on her thigh from Jackie’s hand did nothing to quell her anxiety. Not even the whispered word ‘relax’ from Jackie’s lips to her ear helped. It was awkward as hell and she wanted to be anywhere else but at Joni Evans’ breakfast table. She was on edge, like tinder ready to blaze up and when Jason who was sitting directly across from her rattled the newspaper he was reading caused her to nearly jump from her seat.
“So Jackie tells me you two might be heading off to the Poconos for a quick getaway.” Joni’s voice sounded like a large bell bonging inside her brain and the look on Jill’s face must have given Jackie pause because when she turned to face her girlfriend and mouth something, it didn’t register.
“Jill?” Joni looked at Jill and then back at her sister with questioning eyes.
“I’m sorry okay!” Jill blurted out suddenly.
Jason slowly lowered his paper and regarded the somewhat pale woman across from him and when their eyes met, she quickly diverted them.
“What are you sorry for dear?” Joni asked eyeing the woman visibly squirming in her seat.
Jill tried to hide the snort about to escape her throat…Is Joni really talking to me like I’m a teenager? We are nearly the same age and that is another thing that is bothering me. Clearly she has an issue with someone a decade older having sex with her sister, in her house, with her right in the next room…UGH! The reasoning in her head wasn’t going well and with three sets of eyes on her, one of which was pleading, she had to say something…anything before she ran from the room like a frightened child.
Jill giggled nervously while she fidgeted with the bacon on her plate. “Um…what I meant to say is, I apologize for being inconsiderate last night.” Her words began to trail off when she watched her girlfriend’s face fall, eyes shut tight and head slowly begin to shake.
Joni looked about as uncomfortable as she felt and Jason just pulled his newspaper back up to block his face. “Let’s um….just forget about last night.” Joni half giggled, “I was reminded this was Jackie’s home too, she pays rent and well, has the same liberties as I do. So I think it is me that should be apologizing.”
“This is your house; you do not need to apologize. What we did last night was completely disrespectful. In the future, I’ll just try to resist Jackie or be quieter.”
Jackie dropped her face into her hands in embarrassment. “Oh God.” She mumbled shaking her head.
Jill thought Jackie’s embarrassment was amusing since she was the brave one last night pushing for more sex. Seemed she didn’t care for her sister and her girlfriend discussing it openly. Then the smirk on her face grew when Joni smacked her sister on the arm and said, “You’re right, it is fun to watch the stoic squirm.”
Jill could barely contain her laughter. She thought maybe this embarrassing situation would speak to this thick-headed blonde next to her and she would say ‘yes’ to the question the next time it’s asked. With a large smile on her face, she regarded the woman now sitting across from her, “I spoke to Theresa this morning and she is okay with me leaving her in charge… so to answer your question, yes we can go away for a few days.”
Jackie’s head snapped up, “Really?”
“Yup, and oh, she’s okay with me taking the rest of this week off, but that is if it’s still okay for Molly to shack up here for a bit.”
“Of course, we absolutely adore Molly. Would be happy to look after her while you two enjoy some time away. It certainly is well deserved and long overdue,” Joni said eyeing her sister. “You guys have fun and don’t worry about a thing.”
“Thank you.” Jill grinned across the table at Joni and Jason with Molly smack dab in the center enjoying the attention and the toast being offered.
“Awesome,” Jackie kissed her girlfriend on the cheek before stuffing a wad of bacon in her mouth.
“Are you able to take the time?” Jill smiled as she chewed on a piece of toast.
“Absolutely, when do you want to leave?”
“I’ll head to my place after breakfast to pack up some things and I’ll be back for you in a couple of hours.”
“Wait, and drive the Mercedes to the Poconos, that’s crazy.” Jackie was silent for a moment while she stared across the table at the man behind the newspaper. “It would be really nice to have a vehicle with four wheel drive, you know just in case. Would be safer.”
Jill’s jaw dropped while she slowly turned her head and regarded the blonde to her right. “We can take my car, it will be fine.” Jill’s eyes flicked back and forth between Joni and Jackie who seemed to be communicating without words.
Jackie’s smile widened when Jason lowered his newspaper, “Um, probably would be safer.”
“Thanks dude, you’re gonna be a great brother-in-law.” Then she stuffed a piece of bacon into her mouth before jumping from the table. “Give me ten minutes to pack and then we’ll head to your place.” Jackie yelled as she thundered through the house toward her bedroom.
Jill watched as she disappeared into the hallway, the slowly turned her head to meet the questioning gazes of Jason and Joni. With a grin and a shaky hand she stabbed her fork into the plate of fried potatoes and eggs. It was evident that Jackie did not have any boundaries. “Um…thank you. We’ll be careful.” She couldn’t believe the words coming from her mouth, she truly did feel like a teenager. Shaking her head slightly, she stuffed a fork full of food into her mouth.
“Holy shit…Jill,” Jackie yelled out as she closed the door to their hotel suite. “You will never guess who is staying down the hall?”
Jill looked up from her Galaxy momentarily while she waited for a text back from her manager Theresa. “Well, don’t keep me in suspense.”
“You’re not gonna even wager a guess?” Jackie quirked an eyebrow as she dropped ice into glasses, ready to make the evening’s first cocktail.
“No, I don’t have it in me.” This time she didn’t look up from her phone screen while she pecked away at the tiny keyboard.
Jackie sighed loud enough, hoping Jill would hear and put down that stupid phone before she said something about being ignored.
“I know Love…I’m almost done with this text, just giving Theresa some last minute things to handle while I’m away these next few days.” Jill smiled as she pressed send then tossed her phone across the room and onto the bed.
Jill was so excited to have these few days alone with her girlfriend; she thought it would be a great way to test the waters of the whole living together thing. She hoped that after how amazing this trip was going to be, surely Jackie would want to take the next step and share a roof with her. She popped out of her seat and closed the distance where Jackie was standing with two cocktails in her hands. “So who is staying down the hall?” Jill asked as she pulled a drink from the blonde’s hand.
Jackie’s mouth curved up into coy smirk suddenly no
t caring about the people down the hall, she had other things on her mind and by that glint in Jill’s eyes, she wasn’t the only one with the one track mind.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself Dear…there’s plenty of time for that.” Jill winked, turned on her heel and padded toward the small seating area in front of a large picture window which overlooked an amazing view of a winter wonderland filled with snow covered trees and rolling hills of white as far as the eye could see. She sat on the sofa and threw her feet on the oversized ottoman, “Come on, let’s enjoy our drinks with this beautiful view,” she said as she patted the cushion.
Jackie didn’t pout too much when she plopped onto the sofa next to her girlfriend. “Okay, I guess I can let it simmer for now,” she said with a mock frown.
Jill regarded the blonde with a side glance before she leaned her head into the crook of Jackie’s arm. “Don’t worry my dear, later when I ravage you it will be as amazing as this view.”
The sun had set a few hours ago and the snow was falling steadily and she wished she hadn’t chucked her phone across the room so she could put a romantic music playlist on softly. But the sweet sound of Jackie’s breathing would be the only comforting sound she would need, “So Dear, you never did tell me who was staying down the hall.” Jill sipped at her cherry vodka and ginger ale drink.
“Um…maybe I shouldn’t tell you, I don’t want to ruin this right now,” Jackie snuggled closer as she pressed her face into Jill’s hair. “Mmmm, you smell so good.”
“Come on Darling…I’m curious to know who is down the hall that had you so amazed.”
Jackie shook her head before she swallowed the rest of her drink and as she stood from the sofa to make another, she smiled down at Jill’s questioning eyes. “Suzanne and Meredith.”
Jill sat up on the end of the sofa and slightly turned towards her girlfriend’s amused expression. “You’re kidding.”
Shaking her head as she swallowed the large mouthful of vodka enhanced liquid, “Nope…not kidding. I bumped into Suzanne at the ice machine.”
Jill was amazed, of all the places in the world those two would have to be here at the same time they were. “Did she recognize you?”
Jackie stopped mid pour on Jill’s vodka and turned her head to regard her woman now kneeling on the sofa. “Babe…are you serious? Of course, she recognized me.”
“I know…I mean did she say anything?”
Jackie inwardly winced, she really didn’t want to go into details about the conversation they had, the one that made her want to punch Suzanne in the mouth to wipe off the cocky smirk she was wearing. “Um, she just asked how I was…and you. She had to fill me in on her and Meredith’s plans to move in together… oh, and get this…they are moving into the place I picked out last year.” She closed her eyes when she heard the words come out of her mouth, she didn’t want to divulge that part of the conversation because she knew it would lead to the ‘move in with me’ nag and she wasn’t in the mood. But she was starting to feel a buzz and her tongue was always a bit loose when it was soaked with alcohol.
“Really…that must have stung,” Jill said as she observed the expression on Jackie’s face.
Jackie smirked at the concern in Jill’s eyes as she handed her another drink, “It didn’t sting, it just pissed me off. Not because I’m all heartbroken over her, because I’m so not, but it was just the way she threw it in my face…like she was doing something that I was holding her back from. I don’t know, like I was in the way.”
Jill watched as her girlfriend’s face twisted up into an expression she’d never seen before. “Hey…” Jill inched closer and placed her hand on Jackie’s leg. “Don’t let her get in your head. You are an amazing, beautiful, sexy, and successful woman.” The pained look on Jackie’s face was deepening and now Jill wanted to punch that southern bitch in the mouth. “You know what…maybe I should go have a chat with her, what room is she in?”
The corners of Jackie’s mouth curved up into a smile. She loved that the woman beside her was so protective. “I don’t think that would help…plus I don’t really know, I didn’t wait around to find out. Maybe they’re next door and we can keep them up when I make you scream.”
“Now there is a thought, but I wouldn’t want it reciprocated…if you know what I mean.”
Jackie shuddered as she thought about Suzanne and Meredith screaming in the room next to them, “Yeah, I see what you mean.”
Jill smiled and said nonchalantly, “You should have told her that we were already living together and rubbed that in her face.”
There were several minutes of uncomfortable silence and Jill started to mentally kick herself. It sounded much better in her head, but now when it hung out in the atmosphere like a giant matzo ball, she rethought her snappy little zing for Suzanne because she certainly didn’t want Jackie to think she was going to start harping on the subject again…although she wanted to.
Jackie swirled the remnants of her cocktail, “I’m sure she would have had some snide remark about it and I really wasn’t in the mood to get caught up in her stupid mind games.”
Jill was silent for a few moments as she sipped at her second ‘way too strong’ cocktail, contemplating the statement that has been rolling around in her head all evening. If she began the conversation, it could potentially ruin the rest of their time there and she really didn’t want to argue about it. She could just make a simple declaration and leave it at that, no need to discuss it further.
“You know,” Jill paused to gulp down the rest of the cocktail before standing. She needed to fetch her phone. She was going to make the statement and end it with ‘no pressure…this is not a question or a request, it’s just an open-ended statement’ before she played her romantic playlist with their song at the ready. “You could always move in on a trial basis, see how it goes. Maybe it will be amazing and then we can rub it in her face because our place is much posher than that condo over on the East side.”
“Jill…”
“No pressure Babe, I just wanted to put it out there…whenever you’re ready, the door will be open.” Then she pressed play and the Boz Scaggs’ song began to play. “Dance with me?”
Jackie smiled at the brunette swaying so sexy and seductively. She placed her glass on the end table and rose to her feet. “I would be honored to dance with such a beautiful woman.”
“Do you remember when we first danced to this song?” Jill felt her cheeks redden as she looked away timidly from Jackie’s intense stare.
“Yes, I do. I wasn’t sure you did, though. You were pretty drunk that night.”
“Oh, I remember. I also remember wanting to kiss you so bad.”
“Oh Really?”
“Yeah…I knew you wanted to kiss me too.”
“You’re delusional,” Jackie said while trying to suppress a grin.
“Am I? I saw that look in your eyes. The way you looked into my eyes, that sweet smile…oh and the way you kept licking your lips.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” A mischievous smile spread across Jackie’s face.
“Deny it all you want, I know you wanted me…I know you loved me.”
“You did, did you? Maybe you should team up with my ‘see all’ and ‘know all’ sister,” Jackie waggled her eyebrows at the not amused look on her girlfriend’s face. “All kidding aside, I certainly was smitten…I have never felt this way about anyone and…” A deep passionate kiss to Jackie’s lips stopped her mid-sentence.
“You were saying,” Jill smirked at Jackie’s flabbergasted guise.
Jackie cleared her throat, “Well since you’ve put it that way, maybe we should spice up this little party.”
Jill’s grin faded as she watched Jackie’s blue eyes darken with desire, “We don’t have to worry about anyone in the next room beating on the walls tonight.”
“Exactly…oh and um…I brought a friend to celebrate this momentous occasion.”
“Friend…what friend? Don’t
tell me Casey or Joni is down the hall.”
Jackie laughed out loud, she had forgotten Jill was new at the whole lesbian thing. “A friend for you.” Her voice was low and gravelly as she pressed her pelvis into Jill’s.
“Oh.” Jill’s eyes grew wide. This would not be her first introduction to toys, but the mere thought of Jackie wielding a dildo gave her a little trepidation.
“I want to fuck you all over this room.”
Jill swallowed hard, there was that look in Jackie’s eyes again. The look she saw just last night when Jackie gave her ‘what for’ against the wall and she nervously smiled. “Um…okay.”
“Go put something sexy on, I have a surprise for you,” Jackie growled in her ear before she spun on her heel and took off for the bathroom.
Jackie stood in the center of the bathroom dressed in the ‘surprise’ she had for Jill. She looked at herself in the mirror unsure if this was the best time to spring her inner fantasy on her girlfriend, especially since they’ve never discussed it. She was afraid Jill would take one look at her and say ‘no fucking way’. But their trysts have been skating the line of what she desired and last night’s sexual escapade definitely blurred the line…however, they have yet to cross it and Jackie now realized maybe there should have been a discussion.
She thought about changing out of her get-up, but as she looked herself over and imagined what she wanted to do to Jill, her mouth watered. “Well, I guess there is only one way to find out if she’s game…” Jackie smiled as she fashioned the ‘friend’ to her RodeOH harness.
Nervous, but strangely excited Jill rushed toward her suitcase. She didn’t bother to unpack it since they were only staying a few days but now wished she had as she frantically searched through the bag looking for her red lace panties and matching bra. The only thing she could find was the bra, so she quickly stripped out of her clothes and fashioned the silk and lace push-up bra. Standing there naked from the waist down as she pulled everything out of the bag tossing the articles of clothing to the floor and murmuring to herself about the location of the panties. She knew she packed them, they had to be there. But then she heard the bathroom door open and she froze. “Don’t come out yet, I’m not ready. I can’t find my bottoms.”
