"Lily! God, I'm going crazy! Can I leave? I have to get out of here. I feel like you're keeping me prisoner. I want to go home, Lily." She starts to cry. Oh god, maybe I don't need all this drama.

I roll my eyes. "I'm sorry I've been busy. Richie is coming to pick you up in an hour for the first half of your trial employment. Are you still interested?"

  "Yes! Please."

"You have to get blood work done, a physical, a pap, basic stuff," I say quickly, hoping she doesn't question me.

  "What? A pap?"

  "Yeah, it's standard."

  "That's standard for a job?"

"We want to make sure you're healthy, Joanna. Do you want to do it or not?" I'm trying to keep my attitude in check but her tone is a little too bitchy for me today.

"Yeah, okay. When will I start?"

"When I get the results back. When's the last time you used?"

  "Used what?" she asks confused.

"Anything! Drugs, Joanna!" I roll my eyes. Worst drug dealer ever.

"Oh! Um, I smoked pot last weekend."

  "What else? Pills? Anything?"

  "No, that's all."

"Okay, you'll have to give a urine sample."

"It's not going to be clean, Lily. It was only five days ago."

"Don't worry about it. After the clinic you're going to come into the office and I'll show you around a little. After I get your results, I'll talk about the position."

"Okay. Thank you!" She's either a really good actress or she may be actually grateful. We'll see I guess.

"Mrs. Luxe?" Ian buzzes my phone almost ten minutes later.

I pick it up and do my best to sound professional instead of ramped by the lust that's been building a fire in my belly for him. "Yes, Ian?"

"What color panties you wearing?" he quietly asks.

  "None."

He lets out a loud laugh that I can hear over the phone and down the hall. Tash perks up because she caught it too. She glances back at me but I'm trying to look annoyed and not turned on by his deep laugh. I roll my eyes and start tapping my pen on my desk.

  "Lunch?" he asks.

  "Yes," I respond.

"I'll meet you downstairs. Ten minutes?"

"Yes. Thank you." I hang up.

As Ian walks by my office door I call his name, "Oh, Ian?"

He stops and ducks his head into the office.

"Are you going to lunch because I was going to take Joanna to lunch." I don't want Tash to figure out we went together. I know she's already suspicious because of the laugh.

  "Well, I was."

Tash looks back at us. "We'll be okay, Lily." She smiles at me.

  "You sure?"

"Great. Tash has it covered. Tash and Tegan came up with the layout of this entire room." He points around the room. "They are excellent brainstormers together."

I smile and Tash is bashfully grinning. Ian's gone when I look back at the door and I turn to my computer. "I thought you said he did it?" I ask her while typing.

"He paid for everything and he picked the colors and theme."

I smile, and I'm not sure how he knew I loved Wizard of Oz. I don't even think Richie knows that.

When I continue to work, Tash looks at me. "Really, Lily, I have this covered if you want to go to lunch."

"You sure? I haven't eaten since, god, I don't remember," I say putting my hand to my stomach.

"Oh god! Go! Yes, I have it covered and I have your number if not."

"I won't be long." I stand and decide it's my turn to hug her first. "I love our office."

  "Me too." She giggles.

She's not fucking Ian. We're becoming friends.

Ian stood by the lobby door and when he saw her, he walked out of the building. While she followed behind him, she wiped her lip gloss off on a tissue so when they were alone, she could kiss him. He unlocked the car, opened her door, then got in himself. Lilith approached the car and got in. Before even closing the door she leaned over pressing her grateful lips to his.

"You are the best fiancé ever," she whispered after kissing him.

"What about husband? Think I'll be the best husband?"

"I know you'll be the best husband." She kissed him again.

"So are you really hungry or you want to run home?" He grinned.

She was starving but she was hungrier for him. "Let's stop home." She smiled. "You know tonight's Daft Punk, right?"

  "I remember." He nodded.

  "I invited Tash."

He glanced over at her. "Really?" The surprise on his face was unsettling.

  "Yeah, I shouldn't have?"

"No, I just thought you didn't like her. I think it's great, baby. I'm glad you're getting along."

"Ian, I made her my personal assistant."

"I thought that was so you could keep an eye on her." He smirked.

"Do I need to keep an eye on her?"

  "No way." He laughed.

"I want to talk about that," she said and looked out the window.

  "What?"

  "You, you and Karen—"

"There is no me and Karen anymore, baby." He grabbed her hand.

"I don't want there to be a you and anybody." She hesitantly looked at him and he glanced at her.

"There isn't," he responded after a pause.

There wasn't another girl but he didn't think she'd give him that ultimatum, especially given her circumstances.

"I mean ever. It was only Karen. You said you only wanted her."

"Yeah, I know." He grabbed the wheel. "It's over." With a smile, he looked over at her. She looked back out the window and he touched her shoulder. "And you?"

"Me?" She raised her eyebrows because she already told him she was going to see Justin.

  "What about Shaun?"

"I won't see him anymore. It's only you and…Justin," she mumbled his name and looked back out the window.

  "Why Borg?"

"Ian," she huffed. "We talked about this. I don't want to fight. I want to go home and show you how in love I am with you and how happy you make me."

"No fights." He looked out his side window.

They were silent until they crossed the threshold of the condo and the door closed. She jumped on him, kissing him, her fingers in his hair, softening his pomade and not with a care she was messing up his specifically styled hairdo.

"Fuck me," she moaned into his mouth.

"You look so fuckin' hot today." He pressed her to the wall, rolling her skirt up. "These fucking boots." He slid his hands down her legs and to the bottom of her heels. "Stand up."

"Ian." She laughed nervously, not sure he could hold her.

"I won't let you fall. Stand."

Lilith shakily stood, sliding her back up the wall. He stared up at her eager clit that was reaching out for him.

"Squat, baby," he breathed, wanting to taste her.

She squatted so her pelvis was level with his face and he moved his mouth between her thighs. A gasp squeaked from her as her palms slapped the wall.

"Ian," she breathed after a few minutes. "I'm going to fall. Put me down. Ian." She was panting from both fear and almost reaching orgasm. "Ian," she moaned. "Ian," she said louder. "Ian," she was even louder. "Ian!" she screamed his name as her orgasm ripped through her. With his mouth still pressed to her he hummed and smiled. "Oh fuck," she moaned after a minute of silent unravel that vibrated to her core.

He carefully put her down on shaky legs and she grabbed him for support. He spun her to face the wall and pushed her against it.

"Arms up," he told her, sliding her hands up the wall.

Dropping to his knees, he grabbed her ass and softly kissed. She knew what to expect and she was eager for his tongue.

"So wet, baby," he breathed then pulled his tongue from her clit to her ass.

Lilith let out a moan as her nails slid across the wall. His tongue ran a path from her pussy to her ass until he thought she was wet enough, gently pushing his finger inside. She pressed back o
nto it.

"You want it?" he whispered in her ear.

"Yes." She caught his eye over her shoulder. He let out a low growl, biting her shoulder while carefully pushing a finger inside her.

He probed with his finger until she was orgasming. The orgasm was so much different than she was used to and it made her whimper from ecstasy as the confusing sensation had her knees bowing, but he caught her around the waist. Not only did his sexy fiancée put a smile on his face, but his accomplishment of making her orgasm anally made him proud of himself. He kissed her cheek then walked down the hall, leaving her to collect herself.

"Ian!" she called out not sure what he was doing.

"What?" He was at the sink washing her from his face.

"Aren't you going to fuck me?" She stood next to him.

"We don't have time, baby. I didn't get you off enough?" He looked at her.

"You didn't get off!" she blurted.

"I don't matter." He wiped his face on the kitchen towel and she yanked it from him, pushing him to the counter.

"Yes. You do." She dropped to her knees.

"Lily, baby, we don't have time."

  "Shut up," she hissed.

He stared down at her and it was a different view looking down at the black hair. Almost like it wasn't Lilith. It was both arousing and causing him to feel guilty. He swiped her hair to the side so he could see her face. She knew exactly what to do to have him orgasming in minutes.

The ride back they were both relaxed and enjoying the silence driving hand in hand. When he pulled into the parking garage, she pulled her lipstick from her purse

"Wait," he said leaning over after putting the car in park. She kissed him, teasing his tongue and he groaned. "You're gonna get me hard again."

She giggled and pulled away. "Will you do me a favor?" The look in her eyes would have had him saying yes to anything.

  IAN's stay in sovereignty

I'm staring at her with a smitten smile; she's fucking beautiful. This hair looks good on her. It's going to take a minute to get used to it, but god she's beautiful.

  "Anything, baby."

"Will you pack my bag for Canada tonight? I'm leaving early in the morning and I'll be home late tonight."

"Yeah." I smile; that's easy enough. It hasn't hit me yet that I'm not going to see her all weekend. "What do you need?"

"I don't know. Warm clothes. It's probably colder there. Nice clothes, uh, clothes for maybe a night out. I don't need a lot, it's just the one night. Oh! Matching shoes, don't forget matching shoes."

I let out a laugh. She has so much trust in me if she'll let me pick out what she'll wear all weekend.

"Yes, Mrs. Luxe." I lean over and kiss her once more. "I'm gonna head up. You apply your lipstick."

"Baby," she says in a smaller tone. "One more thing. Can you look after Richie and Joanna this weekend?" She's looking at me like I might say no.

"Don't worry about a thing. Nothing. I got this, all this. All this." I gesture to her body and she smirks. "I love you." I kiss her temple and get out.

I couldn't be fucking happier right now. I haven't been this happy in a long time and since getting rid of Karen, I realize how happy I am. Of course I'm not completely rid of her. I have to go to the hospital this weekend and see her. I haven't seen her in a few days and I'm a little hesitant. Her sister left me a crying voicemail telling me how bad she looks and that she's scared for her. She was begging me to do something. To get her out of the hospital. They all think if Karen gets out of the hospital she's coming back to me, to my place, but she's not. Lily made it clear there is no more Karen. No any girl, and that's fine, I don't want any other women. It was just Karen, but after everything that happened, I know I need to get rid of her or she's only going to bring me down. I still love her and I've said it before, if this didn't happen I'd still be with her, but it happened and I know I can't keep that in my life.

I cannot tell you how many times my mother has called and left me messages telling me I better stop seeing Karen before she goes crazy and tries to kill me. My mom has even said I should take Lily on a date, maybe I'll like her. My mom's the last person that can know the truth, and not because she's a bigmouth, but because when she's happy about something, she has a hard time keeping it to herself.

As I walk into the building, I realize I'm whistling and immediately stop and silently patronize myself.

In the elevator I chuckle as I think back to when I first met Lily. She gave amazing blow jobs then too but she was so inexperienced. Now she's walking around in five-inch leather boots to her knees, corsets, short skirts, black hair, red lips, a great lay…

  Fuck. I'm gonna lose her.

"Mr. Jacks, your dad called," Veronica said as Ian hurried through the lobby.

"Thanks." He waved a hand at her, rushing into his office.

"Mr. J!" Tash blurted when she saw him walk by. "Mr. J." She followed him into his office when he didn't stop to acknowledge her. "Tanya wants to take a date tomorrow night but it's Mr. Grace." Her eyebrows raised.

"No. Not a fuckin' chance," Ian said, declining the aggressive customer.

Tash's brows furrowed when she noticed Ian's forehead was beaded with sweat.

"She's not listening to me and keeps saying she'll contact him herself."

Ian looked up and Tash saw the fury in his eyes causing her to slowly back up to the door.

"Get her on the phone," he calmly said.

The nagging feeling Lilith was going to leave him for Justin Borg or someone else wouldn't subside and it was stirring up stress in a pot of rage.

"So you're fucking Justin now too?" Ashley asked over the phone after Lilith told her Justin and Tash would be going to the concert with them.

"Justin has become my Karen." She grinned and Ashley let out a laugh.

"Good for you, babe. I miss you, Lilith. We haven't spent nearly enough time together the past two weekends."

"You have me for an entire weekend, and I can't wait." A text beeped in her ear. "Hold on a minute."

IAN: I could use a talk

Lilith's heart dropped and she got out of the car.

"Ashley, I have to go. Come to my apartment around six."

"Everything okay? You guys are always freaking me out."

"Yeah, it's fine. I can't wait to see you." Lilith kissed into the phone then hung up.

As she ran toward the building in her heels, she drew the attention of male gawkers.

Ian never texted he needed to talk and it scared the hell out of her.

"Mrs. Luxe." Veronica stopped her. "I have an unhappy client that wants a call immediately."

  "Whose client?"

  "Aubrey's."

"Get Tash the information." Lilith hurried to Ian's office and walked in to an older woman standing at his desk. The woman looked over her shoulder, taking Lilith in. "I'll come back." Lilith smiled politely.

Ian watched her walk out then looked back at Evelyn Swartz, Karen's mother. Her unexpectedly showing up a minute after he texted Lilith wasn't helping his frying nerves.

"You have to get her out of there, Ian. If anything happens to her, I'll never forgive you."

"I don't know what you want me to do, Evelyn!" he snapped. "I'm not the one keeping her there. She's sick!"

  "She needs you!"

"I'm done with your daughter," he said coldly. "We are finished. I have the seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars she requested and I'm done. I'll cut you the check right now. Use that to get her out." Ian yanked a checkbook from his desk and began writing.

"What are you talking about? Seven hundred and fifty dollars?"

"Your daughter wants a severance of seven hundred and fi—"

  "Severance from what!" she gasped.

He looked up at her with a darkness clouding his vision and grit out, "Me."

"You have got to be kidding me!" She put her hand to her chest. "And you're going to pay her? You're sick." She backed away from his desk. "You're all sick."
/>
Ian watched her display of dramatics and grimaced, being reminded of Karen. He ripped the check from the book and stood, holding it out to her.

"I love your daughter, Mrs. Swartz, but she's not my problem anymore. I never wanted this to happen. None of it. I never wanted you guys to try and pawn her off on me like you've slowly been doing for three years. She's not a fucking cat you can pawn off on people because you can't take care of it anymore. She's your daughter. Get her the fucking help she needs and use this money."

With her hand still to her chest, she stared appalled by his language. "Take your money and shove it, Ian. You're just as sick as she is. You two deserve each other. I'm done." She pushed a tissue to her face like she were going to cry. "Done with the both of you." She waved her hand at him and stormed out of his office.

Ian slowly crumpled the check as his frustration began to skyrocket. He let out a growl, throwing the crushed paper to the floor before falling back into his chair.

"Mr. J?" Tash warily buzzed into his office.

  "What!"

"I have Tanya on the phone. You want me to call her back?" she softly asked.

"Put her through. And, Tash, I'm sorry," he apologized and took a deep breath.

After the transfer, Tash looked at Lilith and whispered, "I think Tanya knows she's in trouble. You think he'll fire her?"

"I hope not." Lilith stood. "Contact Bob Grace and find out what happened with Aubrey. If you have to, tell him you're me."

"Okay!" Tash giggled, excited to play Mrs. Luxe.

Lilith walked into Ian's office and closed the door, locking it. Though he was speaking calmly, he was using threatening words. There was no remorse for the tears he had Tanya in. Tanya didn't fight fair and started the game of belittling the company. He watched Lilith stalk his office while he told Tanya how worthless she would become if she double-crossed the company.

Lilith slid off her sweater and leaned over his desk, staring him in the eyes. Ian tried to maintain eye contact but he couldn't help lingering on her breasts.

"I wasn't really gonna do it, Mr. J," Tanya finally cried out.

"It's for your safety, Tanya," he compassionately told her.
