The man smiled and two deep dimples grooved his cheeks. That smile along with the fact that he didn’t tower over her as much as the others was going to make him memorable. Once she learned his name, of course.
He bowed to her. “Yes, princess. I painted it as a gift to you.”
“It’s stunning. Thank you. What’s your name?”
“I’m Yoni Ecro. I own one of the local art galleries and am the brother of Derik.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Yoni.” She glanced at the painting. “Your painting moves me.” Once more, she got a glimpse of his impressive dimples.
Luken stroked her shoulder. “Thanks, Yoni. It’s a wonderful gift and will be hung in our home by tomorrow. Please hand it to Zallion and ask him to see it gets to my home.”
“Yes, prince.” Yoni bowed and then turned to find Zallion. She thought the man was one of Luken’s personal guards. The tinkling of a bell sounded before she could ask.
Queen Darcelle sweetly announced, “It’s time for the claiming dinner.”
Place cards on the tables quietly announced where everyone was to sit. At their table, King Sedrice sat at the head of it with Queen Darcelle to his left. Luken was to the king’s right, and she was seated next to him. Thavon took the seat next to her and winked at her as he sat. Kalen sat in the chair across from her and their cousin, Kagan, sat next to Kalen. The frosty, green-eyed King Redeven took his seat at the end of the table.
Food was quickly served. She was sure it was good, but her mind was still whirling at being here, so she didn’t get to enjoy it.
People at the other tables were chatting quietly and a few small conversations were going on at theirs. She covertly watched Kalen talk to Kagan. Kagan’s and his father’s frosty, sea-green eyes were almost identical in color and so serious and solemn that it hurt to look at the handsome men. A glance at her smiling mate made her glad she was his and not Kagan’s. Maybe one day a better female than her could make Kagan smile. Keneese hoped so. She also hoped for Kalen and Thavon to find mates soon. More females were needed here, badly.
By the time dessert was served she’d answered a few questions about Earth and found out that King Redeven’s mate had died when Kagan was very young. That explained their seriousness. No feminine touch hardened many a male.
Luken’s hand slipped to her knee and slowly journeyed to the junction of her legs. She shifted and tried to warn him to stop, but he just chuckled at something Kalen said and continued to stroke her.
Molten lava started circulating through her veins. In retaliation, she slid her hand under the table and up his leg. She didn’t stop until she had his solid erection in hand. He stiffened when she started massaging the crown. Looking up as innocently as possible, she smiled at him and then licked her lips.
The sky blue in his pretty eyes started swirling along with the dark, thundercloud blue-gray color. He quickly stood and pulled her to her feet. “Sorry for the sudden departure, but it’s time for me to take my princess home and breed her.”
Chuckles and cheers were all she heard as Luken guided her from the room. The group of singing guards surrounded them the second they left the dining room. Luken picked her up the second they left the palace and kissed her the whole way to his home.
At Luken’s door, the men wished them well and many babies before bowing and leaving.
As his mouth descended on hers, he shut the door and then headed for the bedroom. That’s just where she wanted to be.
In a frenzied motion, they took off their clothes. With a wild pulse beating a strong rhythm throughout the pleasure nubbin between her legs, Keneese sank to her knees and sucked the tip of his dripping cockhead into her mouth. A moan vibrated up from her chest the second she tasted his sweet essence.
When Luken shivered and groaned, she looked up his long, muscular frame and luxuriated in the passion swirling in his eyes. Another drop of pre-cum hit her tongue. She swallowed its delicious flavor and began sucking him harder as her hands gently encouraged his balls to give up some more of his dessert-flavored creamy seed.
A few sucking caresses later his growl drew her attention back to his handsome face. Their eyes locked, a lust-filled charge passed between them and he trembled as he filled her mouth with his sweet goodness.
Luken’s release satisfied her taste buds and his loving gaze satisfied her soul.
He gave her a predatory smile and then led her to the bed and spread her out beneath him. “It’s time to satisfy you, princess.” A sexy growl came from him when he slid his large hand between her spread thighs and found her center slippery. “You’re ready for me.”
His lips took hers in a passionate kiss as he started working his huge cock into her eager pussy. A groan of pleasure passed her lips as she let him lead her to paradise. A place she knew they’d go several times that night.
Chapter Six
Keneese had spent the last three days making love and learning about her new home planet. Now it was time to see some of it. Other than on the painting Yoni had given them, which was now hanging on their living room wall.
She smoothed her hands down the front of her multi-colored skirt. It was bright and soft. The royal gunmetal-silver-colored top she wore was well fitted and felt silky smooth. A closet full of clothes had been delivered over the last couple of days. When she’d asked Luken how they’d known her size, he’d said that when he’d scanned her it had captured her body frame. Those measurements were entered in a machine and clothes were made. What an awesome planet.
A chiming sound came from the front of the house. Luken took her hand and guided her to it. He opened the carved wooden door to his brother, Thavon, and Tor. They greeted each other in their normally rough manner. If their bones weren’t so strong, all of the males on this planet would be dead. She was glad the men contained themselves when they gripped her hands, growled, and touched their foreheads to hers.
As they walked to Luken’s hovercraft, she once again felt short. The short female Tor had brought back was most likely like an ant. Keneese hoped the woman was doing fine. Soon she’d have to go see the petite female and try to get to know her.
All of the men’s black hair gleamed in the rays of the two suns. She caught glimpses of their secondary color. Thavon and Tor both had varying shades of red that only showed up when the rays hit them just right. Luken’s were blue tones. Since he had blue bands around his cock that must mean that the other two men had red bands around theirs, and that they turned a reddish color when they were angry or excited.
The tall VisOrrentian males were definitely interesting. Something else she found interesting was that she wasn’t sexually interested in the other males, even though they were handsome. Luken was the only one who lit her fire of desire like nobody’s business. Tor headed for the driver’s side of the vehicle. She looked up at her prince questioningly.
Luken smiled and tilted his head toward his friend. “Tor’s an excellent driver. He’s going to drive us around so I can point things out to you and safely answer your questions.”
“Oh, that’s nice of him.” She liked the idea of being able to learn about VisOrrenta from her prince.
Thavon laughed. “Tor is usually not so nice. For a princess, he’s willing to play the escort as he helps guard you.”
Tor grunted. “Are we ready to go?”
“Yes. Go by Slanon’s fruit trees first,” Luken said in a tone that sounded very princely.
“Yes, your highness.”
Thavon, who was sitting in the front, swiveled around. “These two aren’t always so proper. Tor grew up with us so he’s more of a friend.”
“No need to be proper on my account. A good friend is more important than an employee. They are way more loyal and fun to be around as well.” Keneese was glad her prince seemed to be somewhat down to Ear…VisOrrenta.
“Well spoken,” Thavon said. “It’s too bad Kalen wasn’t able to come along. He’d like you.”
“Thank you, Thavon.” Rows of beautif
ul blue caught her attention. “The trees here are so pretty and vibrant.”
“I see Slanon. Let’s stop by and talk to him.” Luken turned to her. “Slanon is one of Tor’s brothers. He produces of lot of the food we eat and trade. You met him at the claiming.”
The vehicle slowed and eased to the ground. That was something else that was going to take time getting used to. As they climbed out of the hovercraft, Slanon smiled and walked over to them. All of the males greeted each other in their custom and then turned to smile at her.
Luken rested his hand on her lower back. “Slanon, you remember my mate, Princess Keneese.”
He bowed to her and then straightened. “It’s nice to see you again, princess. I’m glad you are here on VisOrrenta.”
It made her happy to see that she only had to look up half a foot to meet Slanon’s blue gaze. He was a good foot shorter than his brother Tor.
She glanced around at the trees and then looked at Slanon. “I’m happy to see you again. Your trees are beautiful and healthy-looking.”
A slight reddish flush tinged the man’s cheeks. “Thank you, princess. I work hard to try and make them the best they can be. I’ve been working on a feeding solution that is making the fruit sweeter than before.” He moved over to one of the trees that had a heavy load of fruit weighing it down and quickly cut four pieces of fruit from the tree. He handed them all a piece. Keneese sniffed hers and her mouth watered at the sweet scent.
Tor bit into his and grinned at Slanon. After swallowing, he slapped his brother on the back. “You’ve once again proven yourself to be a genius. This is the sweetest picplom I’ve ever had.”
Keneese quickly decided that “picplom” was the name of the fruit. Luken urged her to take a bite. She sank her teeth into the bright-blue spotted fruit and closed her eyes as an explosion of sweet flavor caressed her taste buds. She opened her eyes to see Thavon and Luken nodding.
“You’ve excelled once again, Slanon,” Luken praised.
“Yep, this is by far the best picplom I’ve ever tasted,” Thavon agreed.
Once she was down to the seed, Slanon held out his hand. “I’ll take that.” He retrieved the others seeds as well. “Now I have seeds to grow for testing growth and flavor of the second generation of trees.”
Tor grunted. “Always working. You need to go meet the other human female. Her name is Alicka.”
Slanon shrugged. “I’ll try.” He glanced around. “No promises, though. You know how busy I can be.”
Tor grunted again. “All I ask is that you try to make time for her.”
A perplexed look crossed Slanon’s face. “I’ll see what I can do.”
Luken nodded at Slanon. “We’ll let you get back to business.”
Keneese was led back to the hovercraft and in a short amount of time, they were airborne again and slowly heading in a new direction.
Through the clear roof of the vehicle, she could see both suns. One was bright white and the other was medium bright blue.
Luken patted her hand. “We believe that the rays from the two different-colored suns is what makes our plants so prosperous.”
The combination made a soft, unique light. She looked into Luken’s eyes. Everything here was unique and beautiful. “This is a lovely planet.” His sudden smile blasted through her heart in a rainbow of color.
“I’m glad you think so. I want you to be happy here, my little princess.”
They went over a hill and she saw a field of colorful plants that looked to be between three and seven feet tall. “What are those plants?”
“Herbs. Some of them are ones we send to Earth. Others are just for our use. This is one of Derik’s fields. He’s one of our biggest producers.” The herb fields went on for miles.
Keneese enjoyed being out in the suns light and smelling all the fresh air. The guys occasionally pointed out something. Like a mountain that a battle had been won at, or a statue that stood for a mighty warrior. These guys were much like human males, only larger.
When they encountered some new plants, she looked over at Luken.
“Those are vegetables of our planet. They are healthy, but not my favorite,” he confessed.
Thavon laughed at that. “He doesn’t like them at all. As a child he was always trying to get me or Kalen to eat his vegetables.”
“Did you do it?” She had to know.
“Only if he’d give me his dessert. Which wasn’t often.” Thavon eyes were shining with humor.
She looked closely at the plants. They weren’t as colorful as the fruits and herbs. They didn’t get as tall either. These plants were no taller than four feet. In the slow moving vehicle, she could see that the vegetables were tan, yellow, green, or red. They were in different shapes and sizes, but all of them had square patches of color on white flesh. The vegetables might not be Luken’s favorite, but they’d helped him grow into a powerful man. She’d make sure their children ate their vegetables so they could grow up just like Luken.
Their children. She touched her abdomen as she realized that she could be already carrying their child. It was unlikely, but possible. The thought of carrying his child was a welcome one. She’d longed for a child for several years. He placed his hand on top of hers and brushed a light kiss on her cheek.
A strange odor entered through the open window. “What’s that smell?”
This time all three men chuckled and Luken answered, “Our cattle. They are called herstrock. You’ll get to see them in just a minute.”
A smelly breath later, Keneese thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. Luken and Thavon laughed. Tor pulled the vehicle over. Once it was firmly on the ground, Luken helped her out and led her over to a metal fence. “They are rather ugly.” She couldn’t stop staring at the barrel-chested animals.
“That’s true, but they taste good and each one has plenty of meat on it,” Tor countered with a humorous tone.
Doubt filled her. How could this creature taste good? Had she already eaten some of their meat? Unable to peel her gaze away from them, she stared, slightly openmouthed. Their bodies were covered in thick, shaggy fur. That part wasn’t too hard on the eyes. Their four skinny, furless legs just didn’t match their bodies at all. Several of the herstrocks stared at them curiously. Most of them ignored them and kept eating the blue-green grass. One took a step in their direction and made a grunting sound. All six of its beady, dark eyes blinked. The things had four nose holes and a large mouth. Once again, she wondered how they could taste good. They were so strange.
“Herstrocks provide seventy percent of the meat for our planet. You’ve eaten some herstrock meat already. Because of our size, we eat a lot of food,” Luken informed.
Even though her prince was giving her planet information, her body reacted to his sexy tone. His hand moved to her shoulder and he leaned down and kissed her shoulder. The herstrock looking at them snorted.
It dawned on her that Luken had said she’d eaten some of the beast’s meat. It must have been good because she hadn’t eaten anything bad since she’d been here. Best to focus on anything other than the effect Luken had on her. Tossing a prince to the ground and riding him was probably against the law. Earth had been riddled with dumb laws. She’d have to look into VisOrrenta’s laws.
Thavon rubbed his stomach. “Speaking of eating, let’s go get some lunch.”
“Macklon’s isn’t far,” Tor suggested.
“Oh, yeah. I haven’t been there in a long time.” Excitement flavored Thavon’s words. “They cook some of the best steaks around.”
Luken took her hand and headed for the vehicle. “I think you’ll like the food at Macklon’s. He can even make some of the vegetables palatable.”
Chapter Seven
They pulled into the parking lot of the stone restaurant a few minutes later, thanks to Tor driving faster. Apparently, hungry VisOrrentians didn’t sightsee. The tan and brown buildings she’d seen, much like the restaurant, were a nice break from all of the colorful p
lants. When they entered, everyone stopped eating and stood and bowed toward them. At Luken and Thavon’s nod and wave of a hand, the people sat back down and went back to what they’d been doing.
The interior of Macklon’s was in varying hues of tan and blue. The tables were sturdy and made from blue and brown wood. Because of the height of the people here, all of the furniture was big and tall.
Right after they sat down, a man rushed over and bowed to them. His purple eyes lit up when he saw her and with his hand over his heart, he bowed deeply toward her.
The excited man straightened and clapped his hands twice. “Oh, by the moons. Is this lovely female the new princess?”
Luken chuckled. “Yes, she is. Now calm yourself before you die and she never gets to try your cooking.”
The man took two deep breaths and then nodded. “I can’t let that happen.”
Luken grinned at her and then looked back at the man. “Princess Keneese, I’d like you to meet Macklon. His culinary skills have sweetened the bitterest of tongues.”
Macklon flushed a golden tone and bowed at her. “It’s an honor to meet and serve you, your highness.”
She liked the flustered man immediately. “It’s very nice to meet you, Macklon. Your restaurant is impressive.” She grinned when he smiled from ear to ear and clapped his hands again.
“Let me cook you a special meal.” Macklon’s gaze bounced from hers to Luken.
“Of course, I trust you completely.”
After asking if she had any allergies, the enthusiastic chef headed for the kitchen. A moment later a waiter appeared at their table with drinks, seasoned bread, fruit, and dried meats. While they snacked on the food, several people came over and bowed to them. Each congratulated them and most wished them many children.
Thavon eyed the last piece of meat. Luken grinned at his brother and put it on her plate. She smiled and cut it in half then put a piece on each brother’s plate.
