As Exton transformed back into his original form, Alana ran down Main Street to help him.
“You are better than I expected, Malefison,” Maleficent beamed.
“My name is Exton, Maleficent,” Exton said sarcastically.
“Here!” Alana said, as she handed him a purple sphere-shaped crystal and his magic wand.
“What’s this?” Exton asked.
“I fused both of our magic crystals together, so that we could use the wand to its full potential.”
They both grabbed each other’s hand with the wand in the middle. They pointed it at Maleficent as they began to chant a spell in unison:
“WE BANISH YOU TO THE DARKEST REALM, TO BRING BACK TO WHAT HAS FELL, WE BOTH KNOW THAT YOU WILL DWELL, WE RING THE BELL TO SEND YOU BACK TO YOUR CELL!”
Maleficent let out one last bloodcurdling scream, as the dark purple energy flew high into the sky, bursting into brilliant fireworks the size of the entire park. As the sparks fell lower and lower, the park began to rebuild itself.
As for the Maleficent dragon, it was rebuilt and replaced on Tom Sawyer’s Island for the next showing of Fantasmic.
“Wow!” Exton exclaimed.
“That was absolutely amazing,” Alana agreed.
“Yeah, it really was.”
Exton grabbed Alana’s hand as they walked towards the train station. As they embarked the train to exit the park, the lights on the castle dimmed, as did the rest of the park. That was Disneyland’s way of giving Exton and Alana a kiss goodnight.
A few minutes later, Exton teleported Alana and himself to his destroyed school.
“We have to fix this,” Exton said.
“Okay, but we’re gonna have to do it together.”
Exton and Alana held hands as a light blue energy formed between them.
“Ready?”
“Yeah, you?”
“Yeah, let’s do this,” Exton said.
They blasted blue energy into the sky, and watched it burst into the size of the school. As it fell down onto the rubble of the school, it faded to a bright yellow. When sparks fell onto thousands of pieces of debris, they began to levitate. They hovered in their rightful positions, until the rest of the pieces of the school returned to their places, and then they were all re-connected.
The only thing left were the pillars in front of the school. They began to levitate much like the others. When they were finally finished, they appeared to have a thorn pattern up the entire pillar.
“Exton!” Alana said sarcastically, when she saw the concrete thorns attached to the pillars.
“What? I wanted to add a little something,” Exton said, as they both laughed.
“Wait! Everyone’s going to remember that I destroyed the school! What are we going to do? I can’t go back to school!” Exton began to panic.
“Exton, calm down. We can just erase their memories.”
“Oh, yeah,” Exton chuckled.
“Ready?”
“Wait. You never told me how you got your powers,” Exton said, looking befuddled.
“Let’s save that for another story, shall we?” Alana said.
Exton smiled.
“Now, we have some memories to erase.” They both laughed.
Exton and Alana made everyone forget what happened that day. They, however, would never forget this experience. They both agreed that whatever challenges faced them, they would be there for each other, FOREVER.
