Rage (Alien Breed 1 - English Edition) Page 10

I nodded. I had to make it!

I had taken a leave of absence and ran through the streets as fast as I could to make it to the airport in time. When I left the colony, I saw someone walking in the distance. That must be Happy. I accelerated my pace until I felt a pain in my sides. Cursing internally, I tried to ignore the pain. I could not be late. The pilot would not wait for me. When I finally reached the small airport, I saw Happy talking to the pilot.

I hurried as best I could and was completely out of breath when I finally arrived.

“Doctor Colby”, the pilot greeted. “So you want to fly with me?”

I nodded because I was too out of breath to speak.

  “All right, get in, Doc.”

Relieved, I let Happy help me into the big transport glider. We sat down on a padded bench and Happy showed me how to put on the belt and safety bar. Then I felt the machine begin to vibrate and we lifted off the ground. Happy squeezed my hand.

“We’ll be back tomorrow and get Rage out of there”, he said.

I nodded. Hopefully he was right.

“How long are we going to be flying?” I asked the pilot.

“About three hours and forty minutes”, he replied.

Nervously I glanced at my watch. We had been on the way for a little more than two hours. So it would take us another hour and a half. Below us extended a wide plain with isolated groups of trees and a few small lakes. A river to our left, to our right the largest mountain range of this planet stretched far into the distance. The highest mountain had a height of over ten thousand meters. Snow was lying on its summit.

A strange noise sounded, then we heard a beep. I looked at Happy in horror.

“Is there something wrong?” he asked the pilot.

“We have a problem with the right engine. I’m just trying ... Shit! I have no idea what is going on here, but ... Fuck! Get ready for a hard landing. I’m trying to slow the drop, but we’re going down. Shit!”

Happy took my hand and squeezed it tightly. I stared at him anxiously. This could not be happening. This wasn’t happening to me, not now that I had met the love of my life. Sorrowfully I thought of Rage. I would probably never see him again. Oh, Rage!

“Doc? Doc, wake up”, I heard an urgent voice as if through a fog. “Doc!”

I wanted to move, and everything hurt. What was going on? I tried to open my eyes. Everything around me was blurry and there was fog in the air. No! Not a fog. Smoke. I felt the smoke interfering with my breathing.

“Doc! Over here. I am over here”, I heard a voice next to me and turned my head. Happy sat next to me and an iron bar was piercing his right shoulder.

“Oh my God!” I shouted and looked around frantically. Where were we? What had happened?

Then I remembered the flight, the captain’s words. The crash. Oh my God! I looked over to the pilot’s seat and gagged. The pilot was missing his head. The urge to vomit was almost overwhelming.

“Don’t look, Doc. You have to help me. We have to get out of here before the fire spreads. Help me with the safety, I can’t reach it because of the bar in my shoulder.”

Pull yourself together, I urged myself. You can puke when you’re out of here!

I nodded and unlocked my bar and seat belt first, then kneeled down to Happy and tried to open his bar. It was bent by the impact and difficult to open, so I had to try several times until I finally succeeded. Then I loosened Happy’s belt.

“Wait!” I said when I saw that Happy wanted to stand up. “Don’t pull out the bar until I say so!”

Hastily I looked for the first aid kit. When I found it in a net on the wall, I breathed a sigh of relief. I took out the case, returned to Happy and quickly pulled out a thick wound pad and a hand-held cauterizer.

“Okay!” I said, and Happy stood up, the pole slipping out of his back. Immediately the wound began to bleed violently. I pressed the pad on it and prepared the cauterizer with one hand.

When the blue light on the device, which looked something like an old-fashioned flashlight, indicated that it was ready, I removed the pad from the wound and pressed the cauterizer on it. It hissed, but Happy didn’t even blink.

“Okay”, he said. “Let’s get the hell out of here. We have to leave!”

We left the wreck and headed for a group of trees.

  “Wait here”, said Happy.

  “Why?”

“I am going to run back one more time and bring everything we need with us. We have to make our way to East Colony, which is even denser than West Colony.”

  “Okay!”

Trembling, I stayed behind by the trees and saw Happy running back to the wreck and disappearing inside. Anxious minutes of waiting passed, and slowly it became dusk. I tried not to think too hard about the dangers that could be lurking here in the wilderness. Not only the Jinggs. Wild animals could also become a danger to us. After a seeming eternity Happy returned. With him, the pilot’s automatic handgun, two long knives, some energy bars and a water bottle.

“It’s going to get dark soon”, I said anxiously.

“I know, Happy replied grimly. We should get out of here quickly. That fire could attract the Jinggs. Come on!”

"How’s your shoulder?” I asked, worried.

“It’ll heal", he replied briefly. "Come on now!"

  Rage

The later it got, the more frustrated I became. Hours had gone by and my watch indicated that it was midnight. Why hadn't Jessie come? Didn’t they tell her that I was here? Or maybe they didn’t let her see me? Anger was brewing inside me. Not only was I angry and frustrated, I was also bored to death. There was nothing but a narrow platform, a sink and a toilet in this damn cell. There were nine more cells, but they were all empty. I was the only inmate.

“Fuck,” I said and hit the metal bars that separated my unadorned cell from the hallway. It was just like old times, missing only the damn chains.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and paused. I noticed the smell of several Alien Breeds. Sturdy was one of them, and he was also the first one I saw. He looked worried.

“What is it?” I asked as the men stopped in front of my cell.

“Rage”, Sturdy said, and took a deep breath. “Stay calm now, okay? We need your help, but you have to stay calm. Can you do that?”

“Damn it! What’s the matter, Sturdy?” I asked. “Talk to me. I’ll stay calm if you stop torturing me!”

“Jessie wanted to talk to the governor to release you, but he had flown to East Colony. He won’t be back until Thursday or Friday. That’s why Jessie and Happy took a transport glider to the East Colony. But they didn’t arrive there. They ...”

“What?” I screamed, and my pulse accelerated rapidly. “What are you trying to say? Where is she?”

“The glider crashed. The wreck was found. It was completely burnt down.”

I shook my head in disbelief. That was impossible! Jessie couldn’t be dead. No!

“Wait!” Sturdy said forcefully. “I’m not finished yet. Only the remains of the pilot were found. The bars of Jessie’s and Happy’s seats were open. It is possible that they left the wreck to make their way to East Colony. Because it is dark, the recon glider has found no trace of them, but you may be able to find them. Hunter is our best hunting man, but he’s on Earth to find the President’s daughter. You are the second best hunter. And you know Jesse’s smell better than anyone.”

“I have to get out of here!” I said, and Sturdy grinned and pulled the guard’s chip card out of his pocket.

“We started a little revolution to get you out of here and steal a glider. Star will fly the thing. She’s got the best technical understanding out of all of us.”

Sturdy opened the cell door by pulling the card through the scanner on the side and the door slipped open. I hugged him briefly, then we made our way outside. We passed two gagged and bound guards.

  “What about the other soldiers?”

“We have the guards under control and the others are a
sleep and know of nothing”, Sturdy replied with a grin.

  Jessie

“What was that?” I asked anxiously.

“Just some bird”, Happy said and squeezed my hand.

I was so glad that at least he could see in this darkness. I was stumbling beside him blindly. He had warned me about roots, rocks and holes so that I would not hurt myself, but it was still an ordeal. I estimated that we had been wandering around for a good four hours. Without Happy I would have been running in circles, but the Alien Breeds had an internal compass, and Happy knew exactly where to go.

“Shit!” Happy said abruptly and stopped.

“What is it?” I asked nervously.

“A canyon”, he replied grimly. “We won’t be able to cross it.”

“What are we going to do?”

“If I only knew”, he said in frustration. “I don’t know the terrain. Maybe there’s a passage somewhere, maybe not. But it is so dense here. It is so much further to the West Colony. We would be on the road for days.”

  “Damn!”

“You can say that again”, Happy agreed grimly. “We should wait here until morning. Then we will see.”

“Okay”, I said, relieved to not have to walk any further. I was already completely exhausted, but didn’t want to complain.

“Come on, this way. You lie down here. I’ll keep watch. Get some sleep.”

  “What about you?” I asked.

“I can manage without sleep for a while.”

I no longer had the strength to argue and fell into the grass with relief. It was a bit rough and prickly here and there, but it was more comfortable than I had expected. I was probably just too tired to care how uncomfortable it really was. Tomorrow, I was sure everything would hurt. I fell asleep thinking about Rage.

  Rage

I was running. Sturdy, Speed, Pain and Darkness were at my side. I had been able to follow Happy and Jessie’s trail without problems. I was glad that the woman I loved had survived the crash and that Happy was with her to protect her. I had had plenty of time to reflect in that cell and was sure I loved Jessie. I couldn’t wait to tell her.

“We’re getting closer”, I said. “They have lost momentum. Jesse’s steps are getting shorter. She’s tired.”

“She’s a tough little person”, Speed said approvingly. “The fact that she made it this far after the crash is a miracle.”

“Yes, she is tough”, I replied proudly. “My mate is strong!”

“Then it’s serious, huh?” Sturdy asked.

“Yes, I am certain. She is my mate!”

“I am happy for you”, Sturdy said. “I hope to be invited to the wedding.”

“Thank you. Of course you will. But first we have to find my mate and bring her home safely.”

I tried not to let my concern show.

  “We’ll find her”, Darkness said.

  I nodded.

“They’re nearby”, Speed said about half an hour later.

“Yes, they’re not far now”, I replied with relief. I estimated that they were about two miles away. If they had made it this far, nothing would happen to them now. At least I hoped so. No! I couldn’t think negatively now! They were fine. And they were close. Since we were rested and had no weak woman with us to slow us down, we made much faster progress than the two of them.

The closer we got, the faster my heart was beating, but not with exertion, but with excitement. My inner beast was restless. I wanted to embrace my mate.

“There they just ahead”, Sturdy said.

I ran faster. I didn’t care that I left the others behind. Only Speed was able to keep up. Happy stood up when he noticed us. He had been sitting against a rock. Jessie was rolled up a few meters away in the grass. My chest became tight when I saw my delicate mate. She seemed exhausted. Even in the darkness I could see her unnatural paleness.

“Rage”, Happy said happily and somewhat surprised.

“How did you get here? And how are you ...”

“That’s a long story. A little mutiny”, I said, and Happy grinned.

“She did well”, Happy said with a glance at my sleeping mate.

I got on my knees next to her and lifted her onto my lap. She grumbled in her sleep, then she blinked.

“No, Happy. Leave me alone. Rage ...” she murmured.

“It’s me, Jessie”, I said roughly, and her eyes flew wide open.

“Rage!” she shouted, and threw herself at me, sobbing. I was a little unsure of what to do with her. I wanted to calm her down, but how? I wrapped my arms tightly around her trembling body and stroked her back.

“Shhhhh”, I said. “I’m here, Jessie. I’m here now.”

  Jessie

When I recognized Rage, a storm broke out of me. I had thought I would die, never see him again, then this march through the darkness, and the fear of the Jinggs and wild animals. Tiredness and shock finally caused me to collapse. Rage held me tightly in his arms and I breathed in his familiar scent. It had a calming effect on me. He stroked my back gently and whispered soothing words as he rocked me in his arms. I knew that Happy had also risked his life to protect me, but strangely enough only Rage was able to make me feel truly safe.

“Star is on her way to us”, I heard Sturdy’s voice.

  “Good”, Rage replied.

When the glider landed a short distance away from us, Rage stood up with me in his arms. I hardly noticed anything except Rage’s closeness, which was all I needed. I knew there were other Alien Breeds with him, but I didn’t have the strength to look up to see how many and who. I didn’t even think about how Rage had managed to get out of the cell or how they got their hands on the glider. All that mattered was that Rage was here with me. That he had come to take me home.

“Is she okay?” I heard Star’s worried voice.

“She is exhausted, but miraculously unhurt”, Rage replied calmly.

“That’s good to hear” Star said, obviously relieved. “I’ll get you home quickly and safely so you can take care of her.”

Rage sat down with me in his arms and strapped us in. I barely picked up that we took off. Rage was playing with my curls, and every now and then he growled quietly. At some point I slipped into sleep.

When I woke up, Rage carried me through the darkness. I recognized the road. Soon we would arrive at his house. Then we were there, and he unlocked the door, carried me in, and locked the door behind us. He carried me into his bedroom and laid me down on his bed. He began to undress me, then he put the blanket over me and stepped back.

“I better sleep on the couch”, he said roughly.

I sat up and stared at him.

“No!” I protested. “Please stay with me, Rage! I need you! Please! Sleep with me!”

“Jessie”, he whispered hoarsely. “I almost lost you. I am not emotionally stable right now. I ... I wouldn’t be gentle with you now. I would ...”

“Rage, I don’t want you to be gentle! I need you! I have ...” I sobbed. “„... I also thought I’d never see you again ... Rage! I need you. I need you. Now. Hard. And deep inside me. I need to feel you. Please!”

Without taking his eyes off me, Rage hastily got undressed. He was excited. His cock was hard and ready for me. And I was more than ready for him. I pushed the blanket aside and raised my hands above my head.

“Tie me up!” I said quietly.

Rage knelt down on the bed beside me, and fixated my hands with the bandage, which was still attached to the headboard. Then he placed himself between my thighs and looked down at me with a burning gaze. One of his hands found its way to my pussy, and his fingers parted my soft flesh, found its way to my hole, where I longed for him so much.

“Damn, Jessie”, he moaned. “You’re so wet. Just for me?”

“Just for you!” I replied. “I told you I needed you!”

“You have no idea how much I need you!”

“Show me!” I demanded, and he let his fingers slide out of me to slide into me with a s
ingle quick thrust. I sobbed and turned into him. “Rage! Yes!”

“Jessie. Jessie. I have to fuck you hard. I can’t ...”

  “Do it!” I gasped.

He growled and withdrew from me just to push deep into me again. Over and over again he pushed into me. Hard. And deep. I was tossing and moaning beneath him. Hard didn’t seem hard enough to me, and deep wasn’t deep enough. I wanted to claw my fingers into his firm flesh, but I was tied up, helplessly at the mercy of his lust. His cat eyes fixated me, burned themselves into my soul. He growled again and bared his teeth. These teeth he had struck into my shoulder. He had marked me. Forever I would wear his mark. I belonged to him. I would never have thought that one day I would give myself to a man so completely. There was nothing I would not give to this man. I trusted him like no other.

“I want to see you come”, I heard Rage’s hoarse voice. He slipped a hand between us and played with my clit. I had already been close, and the circling pressure on my clitoris was what pushed me over the edge of the cliff. I screamed and my pussy contracted rhythmically around Rage’s cock. He growled, and grasped my clit to rub it between his fingers, prolonging my orgasm. It was almost unbearably intense, and I trembled uncontrollably as the waves of ecstasy ran through my body, until I thought I was going to faint with pleasure. Then I heard him call my name, and he came inside me.

Breathing heavily, he rolled away from me and pulled me on top of him. We were still connected. My head was lying on his shoulder. Rage stroked my hair, my back, my ass, everywhere his big hands could reach me.

“I love you, Jessie”, he whispered, and my heart almost stopped.

  “Really?” I asked quietly.

“Yes, Jessie. I love you. I want us to get married. You are my mate.”
