Boom! I looked out the door to see that the control panel on the prison cell had been busted. Sparks flew from it. Axon stood there with a sledge hammer in his hand. Then he grabbed the loose wires from the control panel and rewired it. The door opened and I ran out.

"Prince Jarith. Are you all right? Are you hurt? Can you shift?" he asked quickly.

"I am not hurt. We do not have time. Are there forces loyal to my cause?" I asked him.

  "Yes, more than half."

"Good. Have them quickly leave the city and meet at Diamond Point. Do you remember where that is?" I asked him as we ran quickly to the nearest window and opened it. We both shifted.

"Yes, I remember very well," Axon said.

"Good, I will meet you there. I have one, quick thing to take care of. Go!" I said. We both flew out the window, he to my warriors, and I to my lover, Marissa.

After I rescued her and took her to Diamond Point, I finally allowed myself to breathe, and to grieve. My father was dead. I walked with Marissa toward the tree line and saw that almost two thousand warriors had gathered. I left Marissa’s side and flew up to a boulder overlooking the warriors.

"Warriors! A mutiny is upon us! My treacherous brother, Traydon, has murdered your king! He is mad! Will we let him get away with this and take the throne?!"

  "No!" they shouted in unison.

"Will you fight with me?! Will you fight for what is right?!"

  "Yes!"

"I am mad as hell! My father has been murdered! Your king has been murdered by his own son! Traydon must pay, and all those who serve him must pay! Tomorrow, we fight!"

There was an uproar of cheers and anger. The warriors were just as pissed off as I was. I put my fist in the air and the warriors punched the air with me in solidarity. We were going to destroy my brother.

I flew down to Lieutenant Axon, who was at Marissa side. "Axon, tell me everything. Can we take the castle back?"

"You know better than anyone that the castle is impenetrable. And over hundreds of years, no one has ever been able to take it; your brother and his warriors are safe in there."

I looked at Marissa and saw her fiddling with the bracelet on her wrist. I recognized it immediately. "Marissa, did my brother give you that bracelet?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. I have tried to take it off every day. You must know that I do not want anything that he has given me," she pleaded with me.

I looked at Axon; we both smiled. "It is a tracking device. Maybe we do not need to attack the castle. Let's draw him out here, where it will be an equal fight. No fortress to hide behind. He will come for her," I said to Axon.

"He might not know that we have the forces with us. He might think that it is you and the female only, running for your lives. We may be able to surprise attack. We will use her as bait," Axon said.

"What?! You will use me as what?!" Marissa shouted.

I moved to her and took her hands in my hands. It will only be for a short while, and I will be very close by; nothing will happen to you. I assure you that. It might be our only chance to defeat Traydon."

She was very quiet for a long time and looked at me with fear in her eyes. Then she stood straighter, breathing in confidence and courage. "I will do it,” she said.

"Tell the warriors our plan. Prepare for ambush," I said to Axon. He nodded and saluted me with a smile and went into action.

I picked her up into my arms and took off into flight. I knew this area well because Axon and I used to use it as a training ground for flying. We would practice diving between the tall cliffs. It was a dangerous place, but good training. Because we knew it well, it was a good place for battle. Now, I knew another place, a secret ledge high above the green, diamond field and forest of trees. I flew straight there with Marissa in my arms now. It was a very long and wide ledge.

“This is beautiful,” she said as I set her down and she looked around.

“Yes, it is on of my favorite places. It’s a beautiful view, and it is very private.”

  I moved away from her.

“Where are you going?” she asked.

“Just stay there,” I said as I moved from her and then shifted back to normal form.

“That was amazing,” she said as she watched.

“Is it? It is normal for us,” I said as I moved toward her and held her in my arms. She was so petite, and she looked up at me and stood on tiptoes to reach me.

“I am sorry about your father. You must be devastated,” she said.

“I am. The grief is strong. But the hate for my brother is even stronger. I can’t allow myself to grieve now. I have to stay clear to defeat my brother. Only when I have reclaimed the throne will I give myself time to grieve my father. For now, I will seek vengeance for my father.”

“I understand. This has all been so much for me. I am a strong woman. I am tough. I am smart and can lead a business, but this is so different. It is a lot to take in. Being held captive and fearing a wedding to your brother.”

“He wanted to marry you?” I said in shock.

“Yes. I thought you knew. He wanted to claim me as a wife. He said it was the king’s wish for good relations with Earth to have a human female wife. He was going to force me to marry him.”

“I am glad that I escaped before that happened. Did he touch you?”

“No. He did not,” she said. I eyed her suspiciously, not knowing if she would tell me the truth or not.

“He did not,” she said again.

I kissed her as the rage of thinking about him touching her filled me. I could not deal with that. It was the same jealousy I had felt when I watched her with the human male through her window on Earth. How I longed to be the one under her at that moment.

“I want you to straddle me the way you did that human male on Earth.”

Her eyes grew wide and then she laughed, “That’s what you’re thinking about?”

“Yes. What do you say, Marissa? Grant me this wish before battle?”

“I can try, but you are so large, Jarith. I am not sure if I can,” she said. Once again, I forgot about the delicacy and the smallness of the human females. I did not want to hurt her. I had already put her through so much. She kissed me and then said, “Lay down, my dragon prince.”

I smiled and lay down on the grassy ledge. She kissed my lips as she hovered over me on all fours in her dress. “I never thought I would hear a Drackon say he wanted to be treated like a human male,” she laughed.

“Only in this instance,” I said laughing. She kissed my bare chest. I was glad that I shifted back to normal Drackon so that she could enjoy my body without the hard scales and wings. It would be easier for her, and safer. She licked down my chest and stomach and I pushed my deters off down to my ankles. She moaned and put my hard cock in her hand.

“You’re so hard already,” she said.

“It’s you, Marissa. You turn me on more than any female I have ever known.”

“Good. Cause this is mine,” she said grabbing my cock firmer in her hand. I laughed at her playfulness. She was a strong human female and I liked it. Then she lowered her head. I sucked in a sharp breath of air as she licked the tip of my cock. She swirled her tongue on top of it. Then she pushed her mouth closed and down my hard staff.

“Oh yes, Marissa, that feels so good,” I moaned. She moved her lips up and down my cock. It was a nice surprise. I had not asked for it, but she was giving me this wonderful gift. She licked and sucked with skill and I thought I was on the brink. I pulled her up and said, “You have to stop or I’m going to explode. I want to be inside of you. Get on top of me.”

“Yes, my prince,” she said seductively. She stood up beside me and untied her dress. It fell to the ground. Her body was perfect. Her skin was smooth and tight. Her long, brown hair fell over her breasts, hiding them from me in an enticing way. Then she smiled and said, “Are you ready for me to ride you, dragon?”

I laughed and said, “Don’t I look ready?” as I looked down at my hard cock stand
ing straight up.

“Yes, you do,” she said. She placed her feet on either side of my hips and then lowered her body over mine. She placed the tip of my cock inside of her and slowly lowered herself just a bit.

“Yes. I’ve wanted to see this for so long,” I moaned out the words. Ever since I saw her doing this in the window, I wanted her to do it to me. It was a fantasy coming true.

She stopped and looked at me and said, “I didn’t know you thought of me so often.”

The smile faded from my face, as I knew that my promiscuous ways had left me unable to truly tell a female how I felt because I had never felt in love before. “I am sorry for that. You should know that I am always thinking of you, always.”

She smiled and then began to move lower on my cock. She sucked in air as she moved down. I grabbed her waist, helping her and holding her up. Then she moved lower and lower until she was sitting flush on my hips. I moaned as she took all of me in.

“You feel so good, Marissa. Looking at you right now is so fucking hot.”

“Yes, you are so deep inside of me. It feels really good,” she whispered. Then she moved up and down on top of me. She bounced and her tits jiggled as she did so. It was almost too much to handle for me. Then she screamed out in ecstasy, “I’m coming Jarith.”

I felt her warmth, and only seconds later, I was joining her in release.

  Chapter 9

  MARISSA VOLANDER

In this moment, I knew that I loved Jarith. How did I know? Because I was in a torn dress sitting in the middle of a field at noon by myself, acting as bait.

Who would do such a thing, if they were not in love? I had set myself up as bait for Traydon and his army to come and get me. To steal me away from Jarith. I was very nervous and my stomach hurt. How did I go from being the CEO of a very powerful corporation on Earth to playing the damsel in distress in a field? I never saw this in my future. This was the complete opposite of what I saw for myself. Everything I had worked for.

I looked back toward the tree line. The warriors, with swords and shields, were in dragon form. They hid in the branches of the trees using the leaves as cover. I looked at Jarith. He put his hand over his heart as he looked at me. Then a warrior flew down from the sky and talked directly to Jarith. Jarith looked at me and held up his hand in the signal that he had showed me. He put his hand flat on top of his head. This was to signal for me to get ready because there was a weredragon flying down upon my head at any second.

My eyes grew wide; it was happening. I looked up into the sky and saw one weredragon coming into view from the distance. I could only assume it was Traydon coming for me. I had no idea that the bracelet I wore was a tracking device, but it would make sense. Everything that the Drackon had looked like antiques but hid an advanced, technological system. Looking up at the sky, Traydon was now closer. He saw that I was looking at him and to make it seem real, I stood up and screamed. Then I ran across the field, but did not get far at all.

  Whoosh! Traydon picked me up.

"Let me go! Let me go!" I shouted as I wiggled underneath his grasp.

"You thought you could run from me, wife? Where is my brother? It will be him against my entire army! He does not have a chance! Jarith! I have your human! Come out!" he shouted.

Jarith appeared, flying straight up in the trees. He flew fast and hard toward us. I felt Traydon's hands tighten on me.

"Come and get her!" Traydon shouted as he bolted in the other direction.

As he made a sharp turn in the direction that he had come from, I saw a black shadow in the sky. It was his army, and they were headed straight for us. I began to panic and get very scared that perhaps Jarith would lose this battle. What if we all died? The army grew closer toward the field and then I heard, "Now! Charge!"

It was Jarith shouting the order as he trailed behind Traydon, chasing us. Traydon looked over his shoulder to see the massive army fly up from the trees, creating such a menacing sight. Traydon screamed in shock. His hands let go of me out of fright, or out of cowardice for his own skin.

"Aaaagh!" I screamed as I spiraled toward the ground. The green field was rushing up toward me at such a speed. I was going to hit it at any second.

Then I felt a strong hands grab my waist. I was no longer falling. I was flying. I looked up into my rescuers face. It was Jarith. I sighed in relief. He flew fast and hard toward the cliffs. There were thousands of weredragons flying around us. The crashing of bodies as they smashed together in the air was frightening. Swords swished in the air. It was a chaotic battle. Jarith flew to the ledge of the cliff where we had made love.

"Stay here, Marissa. Hide. You will be safe here. I will come back for you," he said to me. I grabbed his face and kissed him hard and fast. He kissed me back, and within a second, he was back in the air flying. I knew exactly where he was going; he was going to chase his brother.

Now that I was on solid ground, I was able to get the full scope of the battle. It was a frightening an awesome sight. Thousands of weredragons were battling each other. Wounded warriors fell from the air straight toward the ground. Swords hit against each other as weredragons fought in the air and on the ground. The ambush seemed to have worked and caught Traydon's warriors off guard. From where I stood, it looked like Axon had the upper hand with his warriors. The dead were piling up. It was horrific. But what did I expect from a male-dominant, warrior race? This is how they did things: through battle.

Then I caught sight of Jarith away from the battle chasing another weredragon. It had to be his brother. My heart sank as I saw two of Traydon's warriors flying to his aid. It would be three against one; of course Traydon would not be fighting fair.

  Chapter 10

  KING JARITH RYKOR

I thought I would die on the inside when I saw my brother drop Marissa. What a coward! He was willing to sacrifice her in order to get away. Why would I expect anything less? But my speed and my diving skills allowed me to catch her before she hit the ground. Only when she was in a safe place was I able to concentrate on the battle, on cutting the head off the snake, and that had was my brother.

I caught sight of him away from the battle; of course that is where he would be. I gave chase. I was going to get that bastard. He was swerving from side to side as though that was going to do anything. He knew that I was more skilled in battle than he was. Then I saw two of his warriors flying toward him, to protect him.

I was not afraid. I had single-handedly taken down five weredragons in combat before. The rage that I found inside toward my brother for killing our father and for dropping Marissa from the sky was enough to give me the power to take down one hundred weredragons if I needed to in order to get to him.

Bam! I hit one of his warriors straight in the belly charging him, pushing him back at a perfect angle where he would slam straight into the other warrior. I used my sword to slash at both of their wings, and in seconds they were spiraling toward the grass. Traydon looked over his shoulder in fear.

"I am coming for you, brother!" I shouted at him. He took off, flapping his wings faster and moved straight up towards the sky and into the sun. He was trying to use the sun to block my vision. This would not work on me; I flew towards the sun for fun. In fact, it would give me an advantage. Instead of chasing him directly, I flew vertical, straight up into the atmosphere. I saw Traydon look back over his shoulder looking for me. I was well above him, hovering high, looking down at him. He spun around in every direction looking for me, but he was only looking horizontally. This is why he was no good at battle. This is how I was going to defeat him. I positioned myself directly above him and then dove straight down as fast as a falcon.

Boom! I hit him hard and he didn't even know I was coming. His wings folded under him and I used my weight to speed him toward the ground and straight into a rock face. He hit it hard; it was the end of him. I flew up and waited for him to recover. He did not. I picked up his limp body and carried it back toward the battle.

  As I approache
d, I saw Axon and our warriors gathering the defeated warriors of Traydon in surrender. As I approached, flying high with the body of my brother, our warriors cheered in victory. We had won. We had taken back the throne. We had achieved justice and vengeance for my father. He had been right: there could not be two kings to co-rule together. The desire for power was too great and one king would turn against the other, just as my brother had showed with his actions.

"Are you all right?" I asked Marissa as I landed on the ledge where I had left her. She ran to me and threw her arms around me.

"I am fine. Are you hurt?" she asked.

"No. I am not hurt. We have victory," I said to her.

"I am so happy. I was scared I was never going to see you again," she said to me.

"You never have to worry about that," I said as I grabbed her into my arms and wrapped her around me. Then we flew off, back to claim the castle.
