I could feel her sigh and shrug, even though I had no idea if she’d done it. I guessed it was natural in a human’s case to react that way. Yeah right, natural. I’ve been observing hundreds of thousands of them, and all but a very small percentage aren’t worth more than trash along the road. But why did I feel this way? Did it actually matter? They would be dealt with in due time. It was still possible that I could purge humanity, or at least most of it.
