Marine of Her Heart Page 6

“Touch your clit,” he told her quietly. “We’re almost there, darling. Just push yourself over that edge,” he said in a tight voice, pumping his finger in and out of her ass. His other hand was gripping her hip tightly, his fingers digging in as he jerkily thrust into her.

Genny moved her hand under her body and began to rub her clit. Her motions were uncertain, shaky almost. She found that right rhythm, though, and soon she was pushing harder and harder back against him until she screamed once more. She gave in to the utter and pure bliss of the orgasm that they created together.

“Son of a bitch!” he yelled out as he jerked against her, his cock hitting her deep as he shuddered against her. He let out a groan as he rolled them to their sides on the bed, his finger pulling from her ass slowly. After a moment, he wrapped his arms around her to hold her tight against his chest.

Genny was panting. With her eyes closed, she had her hands over his that were wrapped around her stomach and she simply held onto him. “That.” She paused to take another breath. “Amazing.” She couldn’t even form complete sentences. The man had fried all of her synapses, and she was happier than a clown because of it.

All she got in reply was a grunt and a squeeze to her middle.

  Chapter Seven

Massey, Texas. Home. She was finally back home. It had been a long journey, exhausting, yet rewarding and exhilarating at the same time. Victor had shown her many things about her own body she’d never known, like how much she could take when they made love and played together sexually. He never pushed her further than she could take.

Now all she had to do was ensure that, maybe, they could keep going for a while longer. Or, maybe if she was really lucky, forever.

“So,” his voice interrupted her musings. “Where do you want to go?” he asked her through the helmet mics.

“Would it be too bold of me to ask you to take me home with you?” Genny had a lot of time to think, and even more time getting to know him. She knew what she wanted. “I don’t think that I’m ready to face Rhys or Gwennie yet, so maybe you can take me home with you after we call them and let them know that I’m going to be sticking around, with you?” Yeah, Rhys might get his dick in a knot because it might upset Gwen, but honestly, Genny didn’t want to leave Victor. Not now, and hopefully he wouldn’t ask her to leave ever.

He was silent for a moment before he nodded. “I’d like that,” he said quietly. He turned them up a street and sped up a bit more as they went. Dropping a hand, he put it on her thigh and rubbed slowly. His fingers created a gentle friction on her leg that had her shifting on the seat behind him. After a time, they were leaving the town proper and heading out toward the smaller farms, which eventually would lead to the bigger ranches. Where he ended up turning was a bit of a surprise. She’d heard a rumor that the Milners had moved to be closer to their one child and were renting the place out.

She looked at the ranch and grinned. “I remember this place. The Milners are a wonderful couple. My dad’s ranch is on the south side of this one. They border. There were many days and nights that Ali and I would play with Sandy, the Milners’ only child. She’s married now, with I think three or four kids?”

  Her hand tightened in his.

“Five kids at last count,” he told her. “The Milners are planning on selling soon. The rent that they get from leasing out parts of their ranch is one thing and was helping, but, as Dina put it, they aren’t getting any younger and she wants to travel a bit while the grandkids are in school. Dave’s okay with the plan.” He fell silent as he looked at the place. “I put in an offer on it about three days before I went to pick you up. No clue if they’ve accepted or countered.”

That surprised Genny a great deal. “Wait, you want to be a rancher? The four a.m. mornings, the calves being born at all hours of night? Rustlers trying to get the cattle? Wow.” He was built for ranching, though, she had to give him that. The man was as solid as they came and he had the will-do attitude that ranching took. She looked over the solid ranch house and smiled. “Looks like you have friends living with you too. You sure they are going to be okay with you bringing me here?” There was a bit of hesitation in her voice, worry that she might be causing him trouble.

“They’re fine with it,” he said quietly. He led her up to the door and inside where the other two men were waiting. “Gen, this is Simon “Spider” Markham and Anthony “Crank” Romero. Guys, this is Gennifer Baker. She’s going to be hiding out with us for a few days.”

Simon nodded at her while Anthony grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. “You can come hide out in my room,” he told her. “I promise that you will have round the clock personal protection.”

She felt Victor tense at her side, and his hand tightened on her hip. Anthony was teasing, poking the bear so to speak, but it could go horribly wrong given how possessive she’d learned Vic was.

Genny wrapped an arm around Victor’s waist and leaned into him. “As appealing as that offer is, I think that I will stick with Victor. He keeps me very, very warm and seriously protected, so I don’t need to bunk with you.” She hugged Vic just a bit closer and smiled up at him. There was only one Marine for her, and he was holding her.

“Well, if you change your mind,” he said with a grin. “My door is always unlocked.”

Simon reached over and smacked Anthony on the back of his head. “Ignore him, ma’am. We’re pretty sure he’s taken some serious brain damage over the years. If you need anything, let me know. I won’t try to get Vic’s blood pressure up to the boiling point. Because that would be stupid and incredibly suicidal.” He said the last part directly at Anthony.

“It’s fine. I’m sure that Victor is very well aware of what my stance on what I want in life is.” She looked up to the man in question and asked, “You do, don’t you? Know where my heart rests?” She needed him, trusted him, and wanted to be in his life. That she gave herself over to him so easily was a huge tell in how she felt for him.

“Of course I do,” he said softly. He threw a glower at his friends. “I’ll show you upstairs so you can grab a shower, Gen. Then we’ll call your sister so she and Rhys will hopefully relax.”

“That sounds good. We also need to make sure that they know that I’m good here and don’t come rushing to try to take me away from you. That would just seriously peeve me off if she tried to do that.” Genny gave him another hug and smiled up at him. “How about you come and scrub my back?”

“Deal. At least my shower won’t try to kill me,” he muttered. Hugging her closer for a moment, he let her go and pointed to the stairs. “Up and to the left, end of the hall.” He bent to grab up their bags.

“See you there, big guy.” She looked to his friends and waved. “Good to meet you guys. We will talk more later, but only if you promise not to try to poke at my guy again, Crank.” She pointed out to the man in question.

“Who, me?” he asked with a smirk. “If you let me wash your back, I’ll think about it.”

Poor Crank never saw the punch coming. Vic just laid him out and moved toward her, ushering her up the stairs.

“You so deserved that,” Simon said behind her.

“Yeah, I kinda did,” Anthony said with a groan. “Fuck me, he hits like a wrecking ball.”

Once they were in Victor’s bedroom, Genny looked to him and then around. “I see that you’ve done a bit around the room. I can’t see that Mrs. Milner would have wanted dark blue on the walls. She seemed to me to be a yellow all the way kind of lady. I like it, though, a lot.” She was nervous because of the phone call she knew that they needed to make, very nervous to talk to her big sister and admit that she had fucked up—again.

Vic dug out his cell, sat in the armchair in the room, and crooked a finger. He didn’t say anything. He looked like he was ready to wait for however long it took her to get the nerve up to make the call. Though, why it appeared he was dialing… He was dialing! “Rhys, it’s Vic,” he said into the phone. “We’re
back in Massey.”

“Crap,” Genny muttered, but moved to him. She settled onto his lap and lay her head on his shoulder. Letting out a sigh, she listened to Victor’s side of the conversation and then took a deep breath. “Okay, let them know I’m staying with you. Please?”

He brushed a kiss to her forehead. “She’s fine, exhausted, but fine. She’s staying with me at the Milners. It’s not safe for her to come there, Rhys, you know that. If Peretti figures out who she is, which he will eventually, he’ll figure out she has a sister. Where do you think the first places he’s going to look are?” Vic squeezed her leg and let out a growl. “Your sister would like to hear from your own lips I’m not holding you hostage,” he muttered to her, passing over his cell.

Genny took the phone and snuggled up closer to Victor, the feeling of his arms wrapping around her making her feel safer and more relaxed. “Hey, Gwennie,” she said with a smile. “Yeah, I’m with Vic.” She listened for another moment and blushed. “Now that, big sister, is none of your damn business. I’m happy. I’m safe. Those are the only two things that you should concern yourself with. I love you, Gwennie, and I’m happier than I can tell you with you sending Victor to get me, but please don’t try to play Mom again. You and I both know that woman is a viperous hag and it simply doesn’t suit you. You are far nicer than that.” She listened and rubbed her cheek against Vic’s shoulder. “Look. Gwen, Vic is right. He will eventually figure out who I am and the last thing I want to do is bring trouble to your door. I’m safer here. I figure with the two roomies that he has and then Victor, there is no better place for me right now.”

“Tell her to come by for dinner,” Victor said softly to her. “She can see that you’re fine, and Rhys can beat the snot out of Crank when he goes and makes some idiotic comment. The guy needs a little more head damage, I think.”

Genny grinned and relayed that information to Gwen. “Sunday. Yes, we will have a cookout here. I’m sure that Vic knows how to cook.” She looked to the man in question and asked, “You do know how to grill, right?”

He shot her a glare. “Of course I know how to cook,” he grumbled. “Just tell her to get her ass here by five for cocktails and whatever. Dinner will be served at six, on the nose. If they aren’t here, they don’t eat, period.”

“Sounds good.” She told that to Gwen and added, “Oh, and I wouldn’t be terribly sad if you stopped in town and got a couple of the pies that Mrs. Willis sells. Any kind. You know anything that woman makes is like heaven in a slice of pie.”

Vic stayed quiet for the rest of her conversation with Gwen. He held her close and let her catch up with her sister. There was no shifting or impatient sounds, or anything to indicate he was bored. It was a wonderful thing, sitting wrapped up by his scent as she talked freely with her sister.

Once she was finished talking to Gwen, Genny hung up the phone and gave it back to Victor. “Thank you.” She wrapped her arm around his waist once more and just held onto him. “This is nice. Just being able to sit here with you. To not have any pulls on our time, to just relax.” They needed to shower, she knew that, but for now, it was pleasant to simply be with him.

“You don’t have to keep thanking me, Genny,” he said softly. “I think I’ve mentioned that a time or ten before. Relax for a few minutes, sweetheart. We’ll go shower in a bit, and then maybe catch a nap. It’s nice to be somewhere we both know we’re safe finally, ‘cause I’m fucking exhausted.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” She was close to a man that she adored, she was safe, and she was home. “The men that are here, do they know of the danger that might follow me, or do you need to go and talk to them so that they are aware and wary of anything that might be out of the normal?” She didn’t want to put anyone in danger, but she couldn’t think of a better place to be than with three former Marines.

“Rhys already briefed them both about Peretti and his goon squad. They both know what will be heading our way soon enough. Now we just have to wait. That’s the worst part, unfortunately. We can’t be lax about your protection either. You go nowhere without one of us. I don’t care if it’s just out to wander in the yard, we take no chances. Peretti could arrive tomorrow or three months from now. It will be tough, especially the longer this drags out, but I’m not taking any chances with your life, Gen.”

“Good, I’m glad that they know what might or might not be coming this way. Rhys will also know to ensure that the people of the town are watching for any outsiders as well. That’s one of the benefits of living in such a small place, everyone knows everyone. It’s also one of the downsides. Everyone knows everyone,” she teased with a laugh.

“Tell me about it,” he muttered. “I’ve been offered up no less than fourteen women under the age of fifty for dates. That was just the first day we were here. Apparently, I’m a catch, whatever the hell they meant by that. They don’t stop either. It’s like being single is a sin or something around here.”

“Oh yeah. That it is.” Genny went silent for a few moments and then she said, “When they find out that I’m living out here with the three of you, the proverbial shit will hit the fan. Don’t be surprised if people don’t offer to stay with us just to ensure that ungodly things aren’t happening.” Bad thing about a small town, small minds more often than not.

“Which is why we’re not telling a soul you’re here. We don’t need someone mentioning your name in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s all it would take to point Peretti in the right direction,” he said. He tipped her chin up to look at her, a smile curling his lips. “It’s likely a good thing they won’t actually know what ungodly things we really do get up to out here in the middle of nowhere.”

“This is a very good thing. The last thing that I want to do is have him be led right to our door. I just hope that you are able to keep me a secret. I haven’t been in town for a little while, so if anyone saw me, the grapevine will be buzzing.” She touched her hair and grinned. “Then again, I don’t think that anyone would really recognize me if they saw me.”

“Highly doubtful, sweetheart. Between the hair, the style, and the clothing, they won’t know what to make of you. I don’t think they’ll clue in that it’s Gennifer Baker that came roaring into town on the back of my bike.”

“This is very true. Then again, I have always been a wild child. Haven’t you heard that about me? Of course, with you, I can simply be me. Gennifer Baker. I think that I lost her somewhere along the way and you are helping me to find her. For now, however…” She got up out of his lap and held out her hand. “How about you come shower with me?”

He nodded and got to his feet, shrugging out of his jacket before he tugged his shirt off over his head. He sat down briefly to loosen and pull off his boots. When he got to his feet again, he pushed his jeans off and padded toward her, naked as could be.

Genny sighed when she watched him. She really should have gotten naked too, but then it would have defeated the purpose of him stripping her. “So are you going to help me get naked there, big guy? I would really like it if you did. Just saying.”

He gripped the bottom of her shirt and lifted it over her head, tossing it to the side. Next, he crouched at her feet to work the boots off, along with her socks. Her jeans and underwear were next, her bra last to be tossed aside. He picked her up in his arms and carried her toward an open door off the bedroom, which turned out to be a bathroom, one that had obviously been recently renovated.

With her arms around his neck, Genny leaned in and was brushing kisses to Victor’s neck, nibbling with her teeth. “I could get very used to this, Victor, you carrying me and taking care of me.” Her words were whispered against his ear, happiness and joy filling her tone.

“I’ll carry you anywhere you ever want,” he said softly. “My personal preference is when you’re naked and the goal is the bed. The shower works as well, though.” He gave her a squeeze. Setting her on her feet, he went to the large shower stall and got the water going.

&n
bsp; Genny stepped in closer to him and hugged him from behind. “I prefer being naked with you as well. Bed, shower, door, wall, floor, anywhere and everywhere, I’m so ready for you.” Her hands slipped down his stomach and she fisted his cock, her front to his back and loving the way that it felt. “Especially when you get nice and hard.” She pressed a kiss to the center of his back. “And you fill me so full that I can barely move. Those are the best of times.”

“Gennifer,” he growled. “If you’re going to keep that up, you should grab a condom, sweetheart. Especially if you’re starting this game with me. You know how I do like to finish what you start.” He turned his head enough to shoot her a look filled with heat.

“I think that I should as well because I do love finishing our games together.” She stroked him again. “You do know just how good you feel in my hands, right?” She was playing with fire and knew it, but God, he felt so good. She loved the feeling of the hot, hard skin of his cock in her hands, and she wanted to feel it inside of her as well. “I want to taste you, Vic. I want to get on my knees and suck you until you come. Are you game?”

A shudder rippled through him as he let out a hiss of breath. “Damn, Gen,” he groaned out. “You know I’ll never refuse whatever you want to do. Though I prefer being buried in your sweet little pussy when I come, I won’t deny you what you want either.”

“Then we compromise.” She continued to stroke him. “I will suck you until you are ready to come, you lift me up and bury your cock into my pussy, and we both come together?” She knew by that time, she would be so wet that he would easily slide into her cunny.

“Then grab the condom and get your ass in this shower,” he told her. “Because it’s not going to take all that damn long to get to that point. Not with how primed you’ve already got me, sweetheart.”

“Good.” She pulled back from him and fished a condom from his bag. When she came back, she had it between her teeth and winked at him. “Take it?” Her hands once more went to his cock.
