About the Author
GERARD WHELAN was born in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, where he now lives. He is the author of several books for children and is a multiple award-winner. His first novel, The Guns of Easter, won a Bisto Merit Award and the Eilís Dillon Memorial Award for first-time writers; Dream Invader was the overall winner of the Bisto Book of the Year Award.
