“Mistake. You didn’t think I was mistake when you were fucking me, telling me you loved me. That big thick dick of yours…did you tell your puppy dog when the last time was we were together? Huh?”

  I gritted my teeth.

I glanced down at Violet. “You should just stay inside then, Violet. Let me talk to her for a minute, then I’ll call the police.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” Violet said. “I’m not going to get shoved away. Hidden. I’m not some toy.”

“Oh, but you are,” Stacey said. “A shiny, new, virginal toy. And when he’s done with you, he’ll throw you away. And then I’ll come back and take good care-”

“That’s enough!” I snapped. “Get out.”

I backed up and put a hand to Violet’s belly, easing her back too.

Stacey stepped forward, putting a foot inside my apartment.

“Cash,” she said. “That’s what I’ve always wanted and what I want now. Right now.”

“I’ll give you everything I have to go away,” Violet blurted out.

“No,” I said. “We’re not playing that game. Not anymore. I filed papers. Sign them or don’t. I don’t care.”

  “I’ll bury you,” Stacey yelled.

  “Try me,” I said.

Stacey then looked at Violet. “Yeah. Just hide behind him. You whore. Fucking someone else’s husband. Even after you found out he was married. That makes you a Grade-A slut. A big fucking slut. You know that, right?”

“Stacey,” I growled through my teeth.

But she wasn’t listening. She wasn’t going to listen.

So I side-stepped away from Violet and let her stand there.

Violet glanced at me, then at Stacey.

“I know I’m a slut,” Stacey said. “But at least I get paid for it.” Stacey rubbed the pointer and middle fingers of her hands to her thumbs and made her lips extra pouty. She was trying to be tough.

That’s when I realized she wasn’t just here for money.

She wanted one last ride. One last crazy adventure.

“You know what,” I said, “why don’t you come in, Stacey?”

  “What?” Violet asked.

  “Yeah, what?” Stacey asked.

“Come inside. And we’ll figure this out.”

“I’m not a third fucking wheel,” Stacey said. “And I’m not kissing her cunt.”

“I wouldn’t suggest it,” I said. “I promise you…it’ll just be two people figuring things out.” I looked at Violet. “Right?”

  “Uh…right…” Violet said.

“Whatever,” Stacey said. “I better leave with some cash. And I want to talk about those papers. Since when are you so fucking broke, huh? Are you fucking with me?”

“Hey, hey, hey,” I said. “Anything legal can be discussed with lawyers. This is personal now. Right here, right now.”

“What are you doing?” Violet asked me. “I don’t want that crazy bitch in here.”

“Crazy bitch?” Stacey said. She laughed. “You don’t know fucking crazy. You got that?”

  Violet shuddered and stepped back.

  I shook my head.

I wanted Violet strong. Proud. True. I didn’t want her to worry about anything in life. She was beautiful and capable of taking care of herself. Even in the middle of my mess of a life.

Shutting the door, I locked it and crossed my arm. I put a foot up against the door and curled my lip.

“Are we ready for this?” I asked.

  “Ready for what?” Stacey asked.

  “Time to work shit out.”

“Fine,” Stacey said. “This is what I want from you…”

“No, not me,” I said. “You’ve caused too much shit in her life.”

  I pointed to Violet.

  “Me?” Violet asked.

“I’ve watched you shed tears over this mess. I missed out on months of taking care of you and loving you. That means months of you being confused, worried, and worse yet, ending up in a relationship with that fucking pecker. So now we settle this.”

“Settle this,” Stacey said. “What the…”

“What are you doing?” Violet asked.

I felt the tension in the room rising.

“You got to meet the wife,” I said, grinning. “Now it’s time to fight her.”

  Fight the Wife

  (Violet)

I look at Mason and saw that look in his eyes. That wild, bad boy look that had sucked me in. That crazy look, proving to me that he would forever live with a sharp edge inches from me, already threatening to cut me. The risk was maybe greater than the reward, but the reward itself was Mason.

Plus…I had never gotten into a fight with someone ever in my life. And this woman—this bitch—had been messing with my life for months. Of course, the logical thing would be to come up with some reasoning. Let her and Mason get legally divorced and just be done with it.

But Mason wasn’t going to let that happen.

“Okay, let’s do it,” Stacey said. “I could use a good fight to get things going. And when I kick this little cunt’s ass, then I get to make my demands in this whole divorce.”

“Don’t call me that,” I said. “Ever again.”

My heart was bouncing. Fluttering and slamming at the same time. My mouth was bone dry. I felt like I was going to pass out, but not before crying and pissing myself. Seriously. My whole fight or flight thing was a mess.

My brain told me to run.

But then I thought about my father. He never let anything stand in his way. And cancer was trying to take him from me. That fucking disease. I looked at Mason and thought about all he went through. Being passed from family to family while growing up, never getting a stable, loving environment. He had to fight to become the man he was, even if he was a little too wild.

Then I looked at Stacey. The manipulative bitch.

She had her lips pouty again and her fists up. She had rings on her fingers, and they were going to hurt like hell if she hit me.

  If she hit me.

  Don’t let her hit me.

“Cat got your tongue?” Stacey asked. “Cunt.”

I shoved away the flight response and chose fight.

I had no idea how to fight, though. I could only go on instinct.

I ran forward, and Stacey jumped out of the way. A second later, she had a handful of my hair and she pulled without remorse. I felt like my head was on fire as I toppled back into her grasp. I turned my head as she swung, landing a hit on my cheek. It was an explosion of hot pain.

She repeated the motion over and over.

“You like that, bitch? You like it rough? You husband-fucker. Whore!”

I was frozen for a second, knowing if I didn’t do something she was going to really hurt me.

I bent my knees enough to jump up.

I slammed my head into her mouth. She let go of my hair and fell back, tripping over the coffee table, toppling down to the floor.

Looking at Mason, I touched my cheek as the fiery pain smarted.

  He nodded to me.

I turned as Stacey was getting back to her feet. She looked at me with blood on her mouth. I hurried forward and swung my foot, kicking her in the stomach. She let out a cry. I swung my foot again, but she grabbed me, pulling, taking away my balance. I fell down on my ass, and Stacey moved fast. She was suddenly on me, clawing and scratching and grabbing at my hair. I put my head to hers and tried to do the same. Next thing I knew, we were tangled up, rolling on the floor. Going from the coffee table to the couch. Rolling again until we almost crashed into Mason.

Stacey growled and yelled, screaming bitch, whore, slut, and any other word that came to her filthy mouth.

I finally rolled on top of her and pushed away. I got away and hurried toward the window for a quick breather.

Stacey stood up and looked a hot mess. Her shirt was stretched down, drooping, showing her bra, her hair messy, her makeup smeared across her face, and on her mouth.r />
  “Fuck you,” Stacey spat.

“We’re not done here,” I said.

Then I went on the charge.

Something broke inside me. All the emotion and stuff finally built up for good. This woman wasn’t going to come to this apartment and mess with my man anymore.

I hurried after Stacey and she started to run away.

She scurried behind the couch and around it. I was chasing her through the apartment, listening to her plead to just calm down and stop. When I saw a small opening, I took it. I dove over the couch and grabbed her. I managed to stay on my feet, and I turned, throwing her toward Mason. He quickly got out of the way as she hit the door with her hands and spun around. I was right there, my hand already swinging. I smacked her so hard across the mouth that my hand felt like I had touched a hot burner on the stove.

Stacey jumped and cried out, grabbing for her face.

I repeated the same move over and over. I didn’t care that she had her hands up to protect herself. She slowly started to sink down to her ass. I bent over and stayed right there, letting it all out on her.

Finally, Mason threw his arms around me and pulled me away. As he did, I kicked my feet, letting out an animalistic cry.

“Hey, hey, hey,” he whispered. “It’s over. You did it. You did fucking great.”

“Get my bag, right now,” I ordered.

Stacey sat on the floor at the door, crying. She was actually crying. I didn’t care.

Mason brought me my bag. I reached inside and grabbed whatever cash I could find. I then crouched down and grabbed one of Stacey’s hands. I put the cash into her hand.

“If I ever see you again, nothing will be able to hold me back. Stay the fuck away from Mason. Sign the fucking papers. And then just disappear forever. Understand me… cunt?”

  Stacey nodded.

  I stood and backed up.

She scrambled to her feet and opened the door.

“Thanks for stopping by,” Mason said. “My lawyers will be checking in on those papers real soon. Real fucking soon.”

  Stacey left the apartment.

I jumped forward and engaged both locks on the door.

Finally, I lowered my head and sighed.

The adrenaline was still pumping, and I felt like crying.

Mason stepped up behind me and put his hands to my shoulders.

“You did amazing, babe. You stuck up for yourself. Finally. I knew you were strong enough…”

I spun around and had one last swing in me.

My fist connected with Mason’s jaw, and I felt like I punched a brick wall.

I caught him off-guard though, which was good.

But I wasn’t done with him yet.

  My next move?

  I jumped into his arms…

His tongue made circles around my nipple as he fucked me, pounding that perfect cock of his in and out of me. I put my head back and thrust my chest up at him, wanting more. His teeth came together against my nipple, tugging at me until I cried out.

His kisses then started to trail down my body.

I looked down when I felt his cock slide out of me, leaving me shivering and whimpering.

  “Mason…”

He kissed above my belly button and then looked up at me. “Easy there, fighter. Don’t put me in tears and throw cash at me, okay?”

  I grinned.

  I fucking felt so empowered.

I hated Mason for doing what he did. Putting me into a fight with his soon-to-be ex-wife. But I understood it. Maybe I was the crazy one. Because no matter what he did, I understood it.

Mason continued his climb down my body.

I first felt his hot breath against my eager center, followed by the flicker of his tongue.

I groaned and thrust my hips at him.

  “Fuck, yes,” I whispered.

Mason’s huge hands slid up my hips and grabbed my ribs. He pulled me down, bringing me tighter against his mouth. He then started to kiss, suck, lick, anything he wanted to do to my pussy. His tongue was amazing, sliding down and up like the edge of a razor. When he stopped at my clit and turned his head, I grabbed for his hands, digging my nails into him.

He sucked against my clit, hard, opening his mouth even more to get my tender folds, too. And he stayed right there, hitting the right spot at the right time. Every muscle in both legs tightened as I felt myself on the edge of orgasm. My body bucked at him, my butt grinding against the bed as I could no longer control myself.

  “Mason,” I whimpered. “Mason…”

Then it all came crashing down on me.

His tongue flicked up, hitting my clit one more time, and I lost it. I put my head back, shut my eyes, and I felt the swirl and rush of pleasure pour from deep within my core. My body throbbed as I thrust at him. His tongue and mouth were right there, taking me over and over. I heard the sound of his tongue lapping up my wetness, making me shiver with a wicked heat.

Mason then kissed up my body, pulling away right after my belly button. He stood up at the edge of the bed and grabbed at my hips. He pulled me to the edge of the bed, bent his knees, and pressed the thick head of his cock against my opening.

I barely managed to exhale a single breath before he plunged back into me.

  I was instantly climaxing again.

And he wasn’t forgiving to me at all. He just started to fuck me.

I grabbed at his arms and held tight.

I looked at him as he looked down at me.

Then he smirked just enough to flash those cute and sexy dimples of his.

And then Mason just did what he knew how to do best.

Fuck me…love me…make me feel alive.

  Half of Something

  (Mason)

I knocked on what used to be my office door.

When I opened it, I expected to find Hunter sitting at the desk. After all, he was the one who’d sent me a text to come see him. I had been in the shop working on some stuff alongside the guys. It was where I felt comfortable and relaxed. On the payroll, getting an hourly wage, at least for the moment until my plan went through.

What I didn’t expect to see was Violet sitting across from Hunter.

I had the sudden sinking gut feeling that I was being set up for an intervention or something.

I slowly shut the door. “What’s this?”

“Paperwork came,” Hunter said. “Everything is all squared away with your ex.”

  “And Violet…?”

“You didn’t tell me what your plan was,” she said.

“And you thought it was your job to do that?” I asked Hunter. “Are you fucking kidding me, man?”

“No,” Hunter said. He stood up. “I didn’t say a word. I just figured it was time to get all this shit settled for good. You don’t belong on the hourly payroll, Mason. You and I know that. You can’t live life by a set schedule. You live wild and free. Which is why I have more paperwork for you.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?” I asked.

Hunter stepped out from behind the desk. “I’m just making this known now. In front of both of you. Mason is a goddamn asshole. Sometimes he’s not much more than the piece of dog shit that gets stuck in your shoe. But there are times when he’s really something else. If it wasn’t for Mason, I wouldn’t be here right now. I know that. He pulled me into this business and I’ll never be able to say thank you enough.”

“You own the business now,” I said. “Nothing else matters.”

“But it does,” Hunter said. “Your shop is opening as soon as possible, Mason. You take RN Custom Rides back to where it belongs and I do my thing here. And together…” Hunter whistled.

“You own everything, Hunter,” I said. “Remember?”

“I’m confused here,” Violet said. “What is actually happening?”

Hunter handed me a bunch of paperwork. “The top stuff is for the land. It’s yours again. You can pay me back whenever you want. Okay? The bottom stuff…”
Hunter patted my shoulder. “Congrats, brother. You are officially divorced. Single and ready to mingle.”

Hunter looked back at Violet and gave a nod.

She stood up, half smiling. “Seriously?”

“I’ll leave you two to talk,” Hunter said. “No more keeping things from each other, okay?”

  Hunter left the office.

I held the paperwork and slowly looked down at it. I wasn’t so concerned about the land stuff as I was about the divorce stuff. I walked to a table against the wall and started to flip through the papers.

  Holy shit.

  She signed everything.

And I even got a restraining order filed and approved.

If Stacey even thought about coming near me - or Violet - she would be arrested and thrown into jail.

I put my hands to the papers and let out a long sigh.

  “Mason?”

I looked up. There was a picture of a motorcycle in pieces framed out. In the reflection of that I saw Violet.

“Okay… I have to tell you what I did.”

I moved away and let her see the paperwork.

“Stacey was always about money,” I said. “From the second I met her. After I woke up and realized I married her, I took off. She took all my shit already, like I told you. I didn’t care. When she would poke her head around, I’ll be upfront with you… we’d get into bed for a weekend and then she’d take my cash and disappear. For me, it was sort of ideal. Nothing like that crazy surprise. I met you and things happened the way they did. I had so much to lose, Violet, I couldn’t figure out how to make it happen. It made me fucking sick to my stomach to think she would get half of something. The shop. My money. Everything I had. I’d have rather stayed married to her than go through a fight in court.”

“But she signed the papers,” Violet said.

“Let me explain what I did,” I said. “I gave Hunter the business. So that was off the table. That’s good. But then one night when I got shit-faced, I gave him some cash and he bought the land next to this building. Well, I bought the land, with the intention of opening another shop. I wanted to commit to you, babe. I didn’t want Stacey in our lives. And the marriage thing… I fucking hate that word right now. But it needed to end. And I knew what she wanted. She wanted cash. See, for Stacey, she doesn’t think long term. She tries to survive hour to hour. Day to day. So I needed to have an amount that would make her jump. She’s a junkie for cash. So that’s what I did…”
