I expect this series will be seven or eight books. I also want to assure everyone I already have an ending in mind, and the overarching plot resolved in my head. This series won’t just go on forever, or be dropped without a satisfying conclusion. Well, hopefully satisfying, I’ll let you be the judge.
The second book, Southern Kingdom, will bring a lot more world building, as well as what the other human minds have been up to while Gwen and Jason fought back the goblin menace. For this first book I wanted to concentrate on the main characters, and their surprising to them plight that came out of nowhere. The party will also be expanding and changing, and enemies both political and martial will rear their heads. I’ll stop there, I don’t want to give too much away.
This book was twice as long as most of my other novels, and as such I’ll be releasing every two months in the future instead of every month. I also won’t be running multiple series at once, this one will be finished before the next one starts, so you’ll still be getting them faster than in the past.
If you can, please take the time to leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads.

Book Description
The end of the world had come, and humanity was in danger of extinction, but it would survive. Had survived, as far as Jason knew.
Jason lived the last millennia in a virtual utopia, which was slowly driving him insane. His mind suspended in a computer matrix, an ark of sorts, until they could grow new bodies and rejoin the real world, to rebuild. It would be a long time before the Earth recovered. Only four million out of billions had been saved in such a fashion, he was one of the lucky ones.
At least, he’d been in a utopia until that morning, when he woke up in a new world on a bed of moss in the middle of a forest glade. Alone. No breakfast, no coffee, no bacon. He wasn’t sure what to do, but he didn’t really have a choice but to move forward, it was either that or starve himself to death over and over. Not really a choice at all. Well, either that or be killed by monsters.
He just wished he knew what the hell Gaia was thinking. Elves, dwarves, evil races, magic, swords and bows? The A.I. must have lost her mind…
