DEDICATION
As I wrote this book, memories of my friend were continually with me.
Robert Wood caught the revelation of quantum as given to me in September of 2007, and he was the first to encourage me to explore and write about this understanding from a biblical perspective.
Over endless lunches and multiple cups of coffee, we pondered the glory of the quantum world. The mystery we speculated upon most was the Tower of Babel. Even now, I can hear Robert telling me what he thought was the purpose of the tower. As Robert and I hashed and re-hashed our thoughts, his engineer’s curiosity would often create bright new toys for my imagination to play with. Many of those concepts are expanded in this book.
Sandy - thank you for allowing “Ro-bert” to be my sounding board, and Ro-bert thank you for being my out-of-the-box friend and guide. We miss you, yet we rejoice that you are with the One you love the best.
Brother, this one is for you!
Prologue
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field, which the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Has God indeed said you shall not eat of every tree of the garden …?” So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this…I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain, you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you.” Then to Adam He said, “because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying ‘You shall not eat of it!’ … Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil, you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. From the sweat of your brow you shall eat bread till you return to the ground”… And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Genesis 3:1-20
Positioned above all other created beings Helel ben Shakar had grown prideful. In arrogance, he instituted a plan that he believed he would become an integral part of the Godhead. Not only was his plan unattainable, had it succeeded it would have forever destroyed all creation! The resulting antiphon created by Helel’s refusal to accept the impossibility of his desire, transformed universal harmonies into disjointed sounds of chaos and randomness.
El Elyon the Creator began reinstating order to his creation by denying Helel the right to the Holy Mountains. Ejected from the Holy Temple, no longer allowed to serve as priest, nor given access to any governing throne he once occupied Helel vanished into the darkness birthed by his illogical behavior.
After removing Helel and his allies from the highest heaven and restoring shalom to the Shamayim El Elyon turned his attention to the other dimensions of existence. Restoring peace to the terrestrial universe would require a change to the element of time. Thus, the Creator appointed a season of time that would serve as a matrix for a higher more mysterious approach to everlasting shalom.
To implement his stratagem the Most High God visited the planet he renamed Earth. After removing the darkness created by Helel, El Elyon created a new species. The first of the new species El Elyon named Adam. Decreeing that a King-Priesthood form of government should exist for Earth, El Elyon crowned Adam the Melek.
Included in El Elyon’s plan of restructure was the rearrangement of stars and planets. The new arrangement required a change in Earth’s rotation, which in turn created a different synchronization with the sun and the other planets. The new alignment of the celestial bodies within the cosmos delighted the Celestials to such an extent they had a celebration to rejoice over the rebirth and redesign of the terrestrial universe.
As the Creator redesigned Earth, he remained unusually silent. For the first time ever he did not discuss his plans prior to employing them, not with the archangels nor with the Elohim Council. Until the time of the recreation of Earth, Celestial councils as well as archangels participated in the process of decrees. Greatly surprised and mystified the Celestials stood back and watched as El Elyon reshaped the terrestrial universe. Deliberating among themselves, they had to wonder about the design of the restored universe and to complicate matters they could only guess to what purpose Adam might serve.
Adam became a conundrum, a riddle they most urgently desired to solve. Even though endowed with familiar traits, Adam was inferior and created with restrictions not imposed on any other creature. How Adam could be appointed Melek, was indeed a mystery.
One of the members of the Council discovered unusual frequencies in the new terrestrial matter. Another realized the frequencies repeated in the stars, but with a different pitch in sound. Yet, no one understood why and when one of the archangels detected the new alignment of the cosmos held a cryptic message, the Celestials comprehended the stars contained a key to El Elyon’s mysterious plan.
As the Celestial continued to search for the meaning of the mystery, El Elyon entered Earth to commune daily with Adam. That new aspect of the Most High’s undertakings added another puzzling nuance, for not since Helel’s creation had the Supreme Deity personally instructed a created being. As Adam grew in understanding, the Celestials took turns observing hoping to discover why the Creator was so personally involved with the obviously inferior creature.
Adam walked the earth with El Elyon naming the animals, plants, and even elements. As instructed, Adam assigned names and the Cele
stials listened. When Adam’s assignment was complete, the Celestials overheard the Creator give Adam a strange perplexing command. Adam was to occupy the earth and to fill it with others like himself, when Adam asked how, the Celestials too waited for the answer. What the Creator required was an impossibility, how was Adam to accomplish the task of multiplication, not even superior Celestials could do that.
El Elyon smiled and put Adam to sleep. When Adam awoke, he had a suitable mate, Eve.
Cloaked in realms of darkness Helel too witnessed all the Creator had recreated. Determined to recapture at least part of what he had lost through rebellion Helel began to seek a portal to gain entrance into Adam’s world. He desired to add to Adam’s world the one element he himself had mastered: ra. Ra produced disorder, imbalance and discord or in plain terms: evil.
El Elyon allowing for the possibility of ra within the province of Adam and Eve placed the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil within the Garden of Eden. The tree’s fruit was designed to produce the knowing of ra and would alter the DNA of humanity, and yet El Elyon deemed it necessary, otherwise freedom of choice would cease to exist.
Adam and Eve lived in harmonic balance. The daily visits from their Creator, supplied them with three vital benefits. The frequencies within their souls renewed daily, their spirits received wisdom, and the essence of the Creator’s presence produced immortality in their physical bodies. Warned not to partake of the Tree of Knowledge, nevertheless within time, both Adam and Eve ate from the tree.
Partaking of the fruit created a new frequency in Earth. The new frequency gave entrance to ra, and ra became a deadly retrovirus, corrupting Adam’s DNA as well as all other terrestrial DNA. The sound of disobedience proliferated by the invisible sounds of Adam’s thoughts (his soul), forever changed him and simultaneously his sperm. Man, created to be immortal, given the image and likeness of his Creator would now die a physical death and his body would return to the soil. The DNA of his sperm altered all future generations and from that point forward all who followed Adam were bound to mortality.
Seemingly, Helel’s plan had succeeded. Determined to see El Elyon’s omnipotent sovereignty transgressed and abandoned, Helel adopted deception as his mantra. However, Helel was unable to predict the future. He did not apprehend the exacting cost he would be required to pay for his schemes. He, as well as all his followers, by continuing to be the instigators of rebellion soon found themselves engaged in a Seed War.
Having solved part of the puzzle concerning man, the fallen Celestials knew they had to change the frequencies within DNA and set the patterns of man’s thought-life to match with their plans. The souls of humanity were malleable through sound. The fallen angels understood if a man’s thoughts recurred in a frequent pattern, the frequencies within the man would change from right standing into the profane.
The sounds of Adam’s disobedience filled Earth and a curse resulted. The curse was not revocable but in order to cover the sound of the curse a new sound was needed. In order to bring restitution to humanity the Creator immediately revealed the promise written in the stars.
El Elyon revealed to Adam the coded message he had placed within the cosmos. The message guaranteed a Promised Seed. When the Celestials heard the message, the Supreme Celestial Council immediately understood the import of the message and organized a special order of angels. The new angelic order’s primary objective mandated the establishment of human government based upon the Kingdom of Heaven under angelic supervision. A new angelic order would minister to the sons and daughters of the terrestrial realm. The angels would enforce the laws of Heaven and continually remind man a Promised Seed would come.
The clear directive from the Council, “Teach the ways of Adonai (the Lord), as you train mankind in the laws of the Kingdom. Provide an understanding to the foundational principles of righteousness and justice. Give hope to men and show them how to obtain shalom from the Most High. When you make known to the throne of God the prayers and petitions of the righteous, you will receive strength, for at the throne, the light of Adonai will renew the frequencies of his voice within you and his glory will rest upon you. You will be encouraged as you hear El Elyon’s answers to the petitions and see his response to the prayers you have presented. Only he can enable you, and only he can provide the needed wisdom to complete your assignments in the Earth. Seek no wisdom but his.”
The new order of angels, given the name the Malakhim, entered Earth, and as they did, the Adversary from his domain of darkness sent his own forces to administer chaos.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house. Acts 2:2
What the blue blazes? His concentration broken, Joshua trying not to be angry tossed his iPad on the worktable, sighed and whispered his frustration, “I thought everybody knew this paper is due right away.” Looking at the door, he continued voicing his frustration not caring there was no one to hear his ire, “The dynamics and dimensions of quarks within energy isn’t a walk in the park, so who’s…?”
Rising from his workstation, he stepped into the hall and looked both ways. Whatever the sound was, it seemed to be coming from Kirsten’s lab. Moving further into the corridor, still unable to detect the exact location of the sound, he decided to let Kirsten in on the problem. Hurriedly walking the additional few feet to her lab, he opened her door and called out, “Kirsten!”
There was no answer. “Kirsten,” he repeated the summons and again, no answer. Continuing to call her name, he made his way through her lab and into the adjacent office, “Kirsten, are you in here?”
Silence responded. Where could she be? Standing in the doorway, searching for clues to her whereabouts, his eyes fell upon her desk clock. It wasn’t yet two, she should be in her office doing paperwork and making phone calls. She never violates her routine, so where is she? Maybe she’s downstairs in the clinic with an emergency. Text her you dumbbell. Chiding himself, he reached for his cell and came up empty. Once again, he spoke aloud his irritation, “Dang, I left it on my desk.”
Slapping the empty shirt pocket in frustration, Joshua retraced his steps returning to his lab. Midway he heard the mysterious sound again. It was not only following him but the volume was intensifying! Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Standing still, he cocked his head and listened. The sound was coming from somewhere overhead. Looking up at the ceiling, he noted directly overhead was an air conditioning vent. Giving heed to the natural assumption the sound indicated a problem with the air conditioning system he shrugged his shoulders and carried on toward his lab.
As he neared his lab, he heard his cell vibrating against the workstation. Even though he moved as quickly as possible, he still failed to reach his desk before the phone grew silent and still. Turning it over, he smiled, the message on its face indicated he had missed a call from his missing sister.
Hitting the call back tab with his thumb, he put the phone to his ear and was surprised when she answered on the first ring. And more surprised when she began shooting her words in machine gun rapidity, “Hey, I was just leaving you a message. I’m on the road to the Woodlands mall. I probably won’t be back by dinner. I need you to fix something for ya’ll to eat. Sorry, I forgot to tell you before I left. I need to go, traffic’s heavy.”
As the words slowed, Joshua grabbed his chance to speak, “Okay, what’s up, something’s wrong!”
“Nothing, I’ve got shopping to do. Remember Justin is coming in tomorrow. And besides, I’ve got to drive to the airport to pick him up before we leave for the lake, and I have to pack, and cook, and close up the clinic, and I need supplies.” After sighing deeply Kirsten continued, “And I need to visit with Mom before I head back tonight; really gotta go.”
Taking note of her impatience to end the call, he asked again tersely, “Look everything you just listed is closer in Bryan-College Station except Mom. Is there a problem?”
“No, why would you think that? I put out
meat for hamburgers. You’ll take care of dinner for the four of you, right?”
Ignoring her question, he took a different tactic, “When are you coming home?”
“I don’t know precisely. Sorry if this is a problem for you.” Guilt tinged her voice and the tenseness mounted, “Don’t wait for me. I may be late. I need to go. I’m driving and shouldn’t be on the phone.”
Realizing he was not going to unearth the underlying cause of her irritation, Joshua started to end the call but then remembered the noise, “Wait! Do you know if there is something wrong with the air conditioning? I keep hearing a sound and it seems to be coming from the vents.”
“Is it a sound or a noise?”
Perplexed, Joshua closed his eyes and shook his head, “That’s a weird question. What’s the difference?”
“I don’t know!” Kirsten sighed, “The words just came out. I don’t know of a problem, and I really need to go.”
“Okay go, but call me when you start back this way so I know when to expect you.” Ending the call, he plopped in his chair and ran his fingers through his reddish-blonde hair as he repeated her question aloud, “Was it a sound, or was it a noise? What on earth does that mean?”
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Joshua jumped up and looked around. “It’s a sound!”
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Thinking he felt the hair on top of his head move in the wake of the sound, he reached above his head and batted at the air. Naturally, nothing was there, yet the sound was so close overhead he was surprised he had not touched its source.
Unexpectedly the cell, which he still held, began to vibrate again. Stunned by the startling sensation, he jumped to his feet and while laughing at his reaction and the strangeness of the situation he turned the phone over in his hand and read the text on its face, need to talk.
