Her nipples were tight peaks as the steam caressed her overheated flesh, yet she was incapable of doing anything as she grew wetter with each animalistic noise that issued from him, clenching the lines of his stomach, his ass down to his thick thighs. He was made for a female’s eyes. Every line, every dip, including the one that angled from his hip, directed her to that long, thick cock.

His bicep bunched with each hard pull against his flesh as he moved faster until finally throwing his head back on a harsh roar. She was completely mesmerized as his cock jetted streams of hot come against the wall; she’d never seen anything like it. Suddenly, he stilled. She hadn’t realized she’d been holding her breath until his head snapped in her direction and she was captured in the emerald gaze of the most ruggedly gorgeous male she’d ever seen. Warrior God.

He stalked from the water, growling a demand. “Who. Are. You?”

And then it was as if he were an animal scenting the air; his massive, muscled chest expanded. “Healer?” His tone changed from angry to that of a primal male as his hand moved back to his already re-hardening cock. “Have you come for payment?” Those emerald eyes flashed with so much blatant heat she nearly dropped to her knees.

But the sexual implication of what he’d said hit her like an anvil. If he touched her, it was over.

She teleported, but instead of going to Tetartos, she reformed back in his bathing room with a curse. He narrowed his eyes at her. His massive cock was getting heavier with every second that passed, and her traitorous eyes wouldn’t stop staring at it.

The God growled, “What game is this?” He moved so fast she didn’t see him. His arms caged her against the wall; he towered over her. She could feel his warmth, and the compulsion to touch was almost uncontrollable.

Someone hammered at the door before it was thrown open and his massive back was in front of her, shielding her. “Get out, Dagur.”

She only heard the other male say, “It’s urgent,” before she found the will to move. She broke apart and reformed in the room where she’d healed the cats. It was empty of all but the two infuriating beasts.

She stared them down, her voice shaking. “You owe me. Take me home now, or I call Gefn and Pothos to get me.” It was the last thing she wanted to do. If Pothos or the others found out her secret, it was all over. They would be the ones telling her that there was no outrunning fate.

She heard bellowing in the hallway. And was closing her eyes, getting ready to call for P when she was porting again. If the beasts took her back to Hroarr, she would have their fur for rugs.

When she touched down in her bathroom, she grabbed a towel, and one beast purred for her like they hadn’t just nearly destroyed her life. “Don’t think I will forget this,” she snapped, pointing at them, and then they were gone.

There was no sleep in her future. She’d have to be on constant guard against matchmaking cats and now potentially marauding warrior Gods.

Her skin ached with need, and she was shaking with how close she’d come to the mating frenzy. That male was a force far beyond the males she was used to dealing with. There was no give, no compromise in him. He was not someone to be mated to. She groaned and collapsed in the chair by her bed, aching with desire she’d never be able to fulfill on her own. His scent was in her lungs, and she couldn’t take a breath without having him inside her.

And now he knew who she was.

  Chapter 30

  Pothos’ Home, Tetartos Realm

Gefn moaned as she woke with her male’s mouth between her legs. Morning light slid through the balcony door as her back arched when Pothos ruthlessly sucked her clit. It wasn’t long before she was gasping and mewling for release. It’s time to give your male his breakfast, whispered into her mind. She writhed against his mouth until she cried out, coming against his relentless tongue. Her eyes were hooded as she watched him climb up her body with a wicked smile.

She was still catching her breath when he leaned down to kiss her.

Drake’s voice in their minds broke his kiss and brought a string of curse words to his lips. “Everyone in. We have more fucking Tria issues.”

She put a hand to her lips to still the laughter. “I know it’s not funny… We can be fast,” she offered.

He scowled and then groaned, “Not that fast.”

He was upright and looking pained when they both felt something. The air charged, signaling that a strong portal was opening into Earth, to that mystical lake. She shot up and started to dress beside him, knowing it had to be her brothers.

Drake’s voice was no less pleased when he added, “P, go see what your fucking in-laws want. Hades and I will both meet you there in case they have news about the darkness.” Pothos had already warned his father and Drake that Gefn left instructions for her brothers to open a portal if she was needed. Even if she and Pothos had been in Thule, his Guardian family would have felt the disturbance of a portal and informed them telepathically. It was the best way she could think to communicate with her family.

So this could just be them checking on her, but in her gut it felt like something more ominous as she listened to Pothos answer Drake. “We’re on it.”

P was cursing the confines of his fucking jeans and the fact that he was forced to meet his female’s brothers with a hard-on when the door opened to their bedroom, displaying their furry entourage. The cats either now had opposable thumbs or had developed an ability with telekinesis.

“They could always do that,” his Goddess answered offhandedly as she slid on her boots.

He shook his head and hoped to hell he wasn’t about to get bad news, but the feeling in the pit of his gut told him this wasn’t going to be good.

Within moments he, his Goddess, and the cats were at the lake.

Dagur and Hroarr both stepped through at the same time. Hroarr gazed around with ruthless intent, and P tensed, wondering what had set him off. Power emanated from him in relentless, furious waves.

Gefn tensed and was already anxiously demanding, “What is it?”

His father, Sacha, Drake and Era all appeared at their side, alert to the dangerous tension in the air. It was nearly electric.

Dagur bit out, “You have a serious problem in this world.”

Those words filled P with dread, and his female gripped his hand tighter.

Gefn snapped, “What did you find?”

“Something exists in this world that is calling the darkness here.”

“How long do we have?” nearly all demanded at once.

Dagur was shaking his head and ground out, “A year at most, if you are blessed with luck. And that is if we cut off what is calling it here.”

Curses rang out from his father. “The Tria.”

“You know the cause?” Hroarr demanded.

“Yes,” P said as Gefn shook her head in shock.

Everything inside him pulled tight with the need to protect her, all of them.

His female started sharing the details of the Tria with her brothers as Drake bit out to Hades and P, “We need to get them into a more secure prison.”

P growled, “If we release three Gods, we can put them in the sleeping units.”

Son of a bitch, this was his worst nightmare. Apollo’s unit was broken, so they were going to put the bastard in Hades’ old unit. That meant they still needed three more. “Have we made any progress on creating more of the units?”

Smoke filtered into the sky from Drake’s lips. “No. They were made with Creator power.”

“We might be able to fit two of the Tria in one of the couple units,” P bit out, thinking of the two larger units holding Aphrodite and Ladon or Athena and Niall.

“They must be separated. Have we learned nothing from what they are putting us through from their prison now? They are too powerful to be contained together,” his father dismissed. Hades’ furious power mixed with that of Hroarr’s.

Hroarr’s voice cleaved the air. “You will need more than you have to survive this.” The
male was shaking his head. “We can provide the prisons that will help your world, but I demand something in return.”

  Gefn growled, “Hroarr!”

Hades narrowed his eyes while flexing his wings. “What do you want?”

The warrior God’s arrogant lips curled. “Your healer.”

The air had no sooner charged than Sirena was hit with a wave of panicked emotion. She used air currents to dry her hair and threw on clothes, knowing a portal was opening. Hroarr was coming. Would he seek her out? Demand answers as to why and how she had trespassed in his bathing room?

And then everything happened at once. Era informed Sirena that she and Drake were meeting the Thulians at the lake, and seconds later the entire manor rocked with the force of another explosion.

Sirena quickly answered Gregoire’s urgent, bellowed summons and ported to Alyssa. He was beside her on the bed, his arms wrapped around his female, who was wincing in pain, her pale green eyes flashing with it. Gregoire was roaring for Sirena to do something and snarled at his mate’s mother and father as they charged into the room. The sheer force of the power that rushed over the area was beautiful and wild. She put her hands to Alyssa’s raised stomach at the same time the small female cried out.

The baby was coming whether they were ready or not.

She focused fully on her task as she infused her voice with enough power to soothe them all. “You’re about to meet your baby girl.”
