“They called my name!”
“Somebody's trying to kill you Trent. Do you think they're going to say, 'Trent Harris come to the front so we can kill your ass?' Damn! Aren't you supposed to be a genius?”
“Okay Callie! I wasn't thinking. Okay, damn!”
She turned to him with her eyes flashing. “Maybe if you took your head out of your Wonder Woman's ass you could think straight!”
“You mad?” he asked smiling.
She turned to the window. “Go watch your damn Indonesian villager’s kids or whatever the hell it was.”
Trent watched her. “Are you mad because you care about me?”
“It's not a game Trent. It's your life. You can't be playing around,” she said still staring out the window.
“You think I want to die Callie? All I've been through in my life and now I've found all this and you think I want it to end?”
He reached for her hand. “Callie?” She turned to him.
“You think that after I've found you Callie that I want to die?” He watched her with dark eyes
She touched his face. “I don't want anything to happen to you baby.”
Trent lowered his head touching his lips to hers. When she didn't resist he pulled her closer and allowed his tongue to trace her lips. The next thing he knew they were horizontal on the seat devouring each other’s mouths. The rap on the hood shocked them both back into a sitting position and they both ran a hand across their mouths as the door opened.
Trent stepped out and reached back to help Callie out. They walked to her car in silence with him holding her hand. She opened the door and turned to him.
“Trent...”
He cut her off. “Callie, don't say that you regret what happened in the car.”
She smiled up at him. “I was going to say that you kiss very well.”
Dark eyes caught hers. “I'd like to kiss you again.
“When you're no longer twisted, you can kiss me as much as you want,” she whispered before touching her lips to his. “Goodnight Trent.”
He licked his lips then smiled at her. “I'm definitely working on that. Goodnight Callie.”
Trent watched as she drove off. His phone buzzed and he looked down and saw he had missed several calls from Isis. He called her back.
“Hey Isis.”
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yeah, I'm cool.”
“Always security threats when you're around,” she teased.
Trent laughed. “Yeah.”
“Maybe we can reschedule our movie,” she asked.
“I've started my Secure Programmer project so I'm going to be really tied up with that for a while. I don't want to get behind.”
“I understand. Just give me a call when you're free.”
“Cool.”
“I'll talk to you later Trent. Goodnight.”
“Goodnight Isis.”
Trent blew out a breath. “Jordan if this is normal, then there really is something wrong with me.”
He walked slowly to his car. He needed to talk to someone stable with a level head who gave sound advice. Sean. Definitely Sean. Out of the three, yeah...Sean.
When Trent got home, Sean was in his office and he knocked on the door. Sean looked up and smiled.
“Trent? What's going on?” he asked.
“Can I talk to you for a minute?” Trent asked.
Sean motioned toward a chair. “Of course, sit down.”
“Is this about your last visit with our mother?” Sean asked.
“Nah, that was cool. We talked and stuff.”
Sean nodded. “I had some concerns with you going by yourself, but I'm glad to hear everything was fine.”
“She said she's coming home soon,” Trent said.
“A week before the wedding, I hope she's ready,” Sean told him.
Trent shrugged. “She seems better.”
“What did you need to talk about?” Sean asked.
“Women...”
Sean lifted a brow. “Okay.”
“So there's this one girl and she was the 'one' that I told you about before.” Sean nodded. “But there's another girl.”
“Okay.”
“I want to be with both of them, but they both said I can't.”
“Smart girls,” Sean commented.
Trent sat back in the chair. “I'm not even dating either one, but when I'm with one I feel like I'm cheating on the other.”
“So are you asking for my advice?” Sean asked.
Trent looked at him. “Yeah, I don't know what to do.”
“Well from what you've told me your 'one' can't possibly be that since there is another 'one'.”
He looked at Trent. “What does this new one have that has made you turn your head?”
“I can be just...Trent with her. Like I can do or say something stupid and she'll just look at me and say that was stupid and then everything would be cool.”
“Who are you trying to be with the other girl?” Sean asked.
Trent shrugged. “I don't know if I'm really trying to be somebody else, but I feel like I can't mess up with her.”
“Which one has your heart?” Sean questioned.
Trent laughed. “My heart is all over the place.”
“My advice Trent is to let it all fall into place.” Sean told him. “When it's real to you, you'll know.”
“How did you know Lily was the one for you?” he asked.
Sean smiled. “I was attracted to Lily from the beginning. She's a very beautiful and desirable woman.”
Trent nodded wholeheartedly.
“But what sealed the deal was that she not only touched my heart, she stroked my mind.”
Trent lifted a brow confused
“Lily excites my mind. She makes me think on another level.” He shrugged. “I like that.”
“So...when you're with Lily you want... to think?” he said slowly.
Sean laughed. “You sound like Jordan now.”
Trent smiled thinking about his other brother.
“You can have sex with any woman Trent, but when you're done can she still hold your attention? Do you still want to be in her presence? Do you find the thought of not being with her unthinkable? Does she make you feel something you've never felt in your entire life?”
Trent listened intently.
“That's when you know she's special. Special enough to hold on to; and special enough to give up everyone else for,” Sean finished.
Trent nodded slowly. “Is that when you're in love?” he asked.
“To use your words, 'for real'.” Sean told him.
Trent laughed. “Thanks Sean.”
“You have a lot on your mind Trent this new project, a new apartment and this threat. Stay focused.”
Trent nodded and stood. He started for the door.
“Oh, and Trent?”
Trent turned back.
“Callie is a beautiful girl. She seems very...special.”
Trent smiled. “Yeah, she is.” He rubbed his lips. “More than I ever thought.”

Ray looked at his watch that read four in the morning. He was finally on his way back home after analyzing for himself the package left for Trent at the movie theater. Of all the nights, he thought. The car pulled up in front of his house and he let himself inside. He found Isabelle asleep on his sofa. She was curled in her red dress and her heels were on the floor in front of her. She probably hadn't moved from this spot.
Ray smiled. He'd had no doubts that he could trust Isabelle in his home. She wasn't the type who would sneak through his things or try to find items purposely left by other women. Isabelle was class personified and he found it sexy as hell. Walking over he lifted her easily into his arms and began to carry her upstairs.
Isabelle awakened and felt as though she was floating. She quickly realized he was carrying her and tightened her hold on Ray as she looked into his face.
“Where are you taking me?” she w
hispered.
“To bed.” He continued up the stairs.
“To bed?” she questioned.
He nodded. “To bed to sleep.”
“We're going to sleep in your bed?”
Ray reached the landing and walked to one of the rooms. “Yes. I've kept you waiting all night and we're both tired.” Inside the beautifully furnished room, he carried her to the bed and sat her down gently.
Staring down at her he said, “I'm sorry Isabelle. I had no idea it would take this long.”
“It's fine. I tried to stay awake.”
He smiled. “I know you did and that makes me feel even worse.”
She reached and touched his face. “You look tired.”
He took her hand. “I am and so are you. Stay and lie down with me. When we wake up I'll make you some breakfast.”
She smiled. “I'd like that. Please nothing fancy, I'm having lunch with my father later today.”
Ray nodded before joining her on the bed.
“I get to keep my dress on?” she asked.
“Only if you want.”
She turned to him. “I think I'll take it off.”
Ray took a breath. “Okay.”
He watched as she stood and slowly removed the garment placing it on a chair in the room. She turned back to him in a red bra and thong that he'd purchased for her. She watched him as she climbed back onto the bed.
“I think that's better,” she said facing him on the bed.
“Uh, huh.” Ray nodded taking her in from head to toe.
Isabelle touched his shirt. “Are you sleeping in your clothes?” she asked.
“I think that's best.”
She smiled. “Why?”
“Because even gods have their limits. Please go to sleep Isabelle.”
Isabelle lifted slightly and placed her lips against his. “Goodnight Ray.”
Ray closed his eyes and laid back. “Goodnight Isabelle.”
She turned over and curled up with her bare ass pointed directly towards him. Ray licked his lips and shook his head studying the firm, round cheeks. He closed his eyes and began meditating with his hands at his sides, until he felt those same cheeks against his hand after Isabelle moved back in the bed. His response was immediate and he jumped off the bed. Isabelle quickly turned over.
“What's wrong?” she asked.
“Going to the bathroom,” he gritted out before walking to the attached bath.
Isabelle watched him go and when the door closed she placed her hands behind her head; laid back against the pillows; crossed her long legs and smiled.
Chapter 21
Sage awakened to music playing and shook her head. Diamond loved music and Jordan liked to wake up early in the morning and play all kinds for her. The artist of choice this morning was apparently Ne-yo. Sage grabbed her robed and went to find them.
Diamond was sitting on the oversized sofa happily watching her Daddy perform One In A Million. Sage watched as he sang to Diamond.
“Diamond girl
Only one in the world
Just one of a kind
She mine.”
As the song replayed Sage came in and played his video girl. She danced around him and shook her ass like a true video vixen. Jordan grabbed her around the waist and sang the next verse to her.
“You're not a regular girl
You don't give a damn about the loot
Talking about I can't do it for you
But you can do it for yourself
Even though that ain't so
Baby cause my dough don't know how to end
But that independent thing I'm with it
All we do is win baby.”
They took bumping and grinding to a whole new level. Sage turned her back to him; dropped it and popped it back up. Jordan guided her hips against his groin as they continued to gyrate to the beat. He sang in her ear.
“Girl you're so one in a million
You are
Baby you're the best I ever had
Best I ever had
And I'm certain that
There ain't nothing better
No there ain't nothing better than this.”
He kissed her neck. “I know there's nothing better than this.”
She turned in his arms. “I know.” She kissed him until Diamond started her imitations.
Sage looked at Jordan. “I'm going to make her stop doing that.”
Jordan smiled. “You taught her.”
Sage's eyes narrowed. “I'll just stop kissing you in front of her.”
Jordan laughed. “Yeah, and you should probably not shake your ass like that either.”
Sage smirked as she walked away. “Don't worry about this ass.”
Jordan called after her. “You know that's my ass!”
Diamond and Jordan joined Sage in the kitchen. Jordan placed Diamond in her chair then walked up behind Sage placing his hand on her butt squeezing firmly.
“Yeah, that's mine.”
Sage smiled. “Move Jordan before I put something in your food.” She moved away and he followed.
“Say it's mine.”
“Jordan, I don't have time to play with you. I'm making breakfast,” she said moving away again.
He tilted his head at her. “Do I have to make you say it?”
“Did you hear me? I'm making breakfast,” she told him laughing.
“Did you hear me? You'd better say it or Diamond will be imitating some other sounds you make.”
Sage gasped and Jordan came toward her. She took off to the other side of the kitchen.
“Jordan stop playing,” she said still laughing.
He shook his head. “No playing now pretty girl.” He came for her again and caught her easily lifting her onto the kitchen island then began kissing her neck.
“Jordan...”
“Close your ears Diamond because Mommy's about to scream.” He pulled her closer with his hands going underneath her short robe.
“Okay Jordan...” Sage acquiesced.
He touched her entrance and she arched into his hand. “Too late, I told Diamond I was making you scream and I never lie to her.” He entered her folds with his hand and her breath caught. “We’ll keep it clean in front of her though.” Jordan kissed her sucking on her lips.
He stroked her woman's jewel then asked against her lips, “Do you remember the first time I touched you like this?”
She nodded slowly. “In...the tent. On... the beach,” she whispered.
He gave her more and she moaned softly before biting her lip.
“Do you remember how you screamed my name when you exploded in my hand?”
Sage nodded again. “I remember...”
“Do you remember when I made you mine completely?” he asked kissing the tops of her breasts exposed by her robe.
“Yessss...Jordan...” She held his head to her breast as he continued working his magic below underneath her robe.
Jordan could feel she was getting closer to her pinnacle from her essence soaking his hand. He captured her lips savoring their sweetness and taking her breath away with his kiss.
“You know you're mine, don't you?” he whispered against her lips.
“Umm...hmm...”
He shook his head. “If you want to finish, you need to say it.” He gave her even more as her legs parted further.
Sage threw her head back. “What do you want me to say?” she asked breathlessly.
“You know.”
She looked into dark eyes. “This is yours Jordan.”
He smiled. “Hold on baby.” Jordan brought her to a screaming completion before smiling down at her.
Sage stared at him in wonder. “I can't believe you did that!”
Jordan removed his hand and licked his fingers winking at her. “Mmmmmmm....”
Diamond heard her favorite phrase and started mimicking him.
Sage fixed her robe. “See when your daughter is a freak, it's all your fault.”
Jordan frowned. “My sweet baby is going to be a virgin all her life.”
“That doesn't make any sense,” Sage told him.
“Why not?”
“What if I would have stayed a virgin Jordan?”
Jordan looked at her. “I'm not your daddy.”
Sage looked back at him. “Can I make breakfast now?”
Jordan nodded and went to Diamond. “You're not going to let some dude touch you are you baby?”
She smiled at her daddy and grabbed his face kissing him. He turned to Sage.
“If somebody tries to touch her, I'll just kill him,” he said simply.
Sage shook her head and continued making breakfast. “Was everything okay with Trent last night?” she asked.
Jordan took a seat. “He's fine. He'd better learn how to follow damn directions.”
“And you're sure that you guys have everything under control.”
“Yes baby, it's under control.”
She turned to him with a spatula in her hand. “Because that's mine and I want to make sure nothing happens to it.”
“Yeah, it's all yours,” he said smiling.
She turned back to the stove. “And make sure you're little school tramp knows that.”
Jordan lowered his head. He'd wondered when this conversation was going to come up.
“I've never been with her Sage. I told you that.”
Sage turned back. “I know. Make sure it stays that way.” She smiled and turned back to the stove.
“And if she tries to mess up Lily's wedding, I'm beating her ass.”
Jordan nodded. “Okay.”
********
Isabelle took the seat across from her father at the upscale restaurant he had chosen.
“Hello Daddy.”
“Isabelle,” he greeted her. “I've invited Isis as well.”
Isabelle smiled. “You didn't want to eat alone with me Daddy?”
“I was hoping that maybe your sister could help me talk some sense into you.”
Isabelle looked at him. “Sense about what?”
Her father looked perturbed. “About you being involved with that Ray Parker.”
“I don't see how it's anyone's business of who I may or may not be involved with,” Isabelle told him picking up her menu.
“When are you going to get yourself together Isabelle?” he snapped.
She looked at him and raised a brow. “I could ask you the same Daddy.”
Isis joined them at the table happily giving her daddy a kiss on his cheek.
