“This Samantha Wyatt or Jolene or whoever the hell she is, I had a one-night stand with a girl who called herself Sammy. Do you think they are the same person?”
“Were you ever in Roanoke, Virginia?” I question.
He stares off in the distance. “I have an aunt in Boones Mill. The last time I visited her was during spring break in 2009 and that’s when I had the one nighter.”
“Then there is a possibility. The Sammy I know had a kid in December of that same year.”
His color drains more from his face. “So if they are the same person, then I might have a kid too.”
“Yep. She sent me a picture of him after he was born. She claimed he was Ryker’s until he demanded a paternity test. So, unfortunately, you might be the father along with how many other men she slept with during time.”
“Fuck, Angel! If I have a son, I need to know.”
“All we can do is wait, Chase. Once we find her and the kids, hopefully you can get some answers.”
My phone rings in my hand and it is Ryker. “Please tell me you have them.” I pray.
“Baby girl, we have them and I need you to get to the hospital. They aren’t hurt, but I wanted to get them checked out. We couldn’t get them to wake up, so we had to call an ambulance. I’m following it right now. Get your mom to drive you here.”
I don’t even say good bye and just hang up. My mom is on her feet waiting to hear what was said.
“Momma, I need you to drive me to the hospital. I’m guessing the kids were drugged and Ryker called an ambulance to take them to the hospital.”
“Alright, let’s go.” She says calmer than I feel right now.
It doesn’t take us long to get to Northside Hospital-Forsyth Emergency Room. When I enter the waiting room, it’s full of my leather clad family. I rush my dad and he points to the opening of the hall and I meet him there.
“They’re right across from the nurses’ station. The EMTs said that they should be fine. They think she used some sort of chloroform on them.”
I walk in the room to Ryker bent over the bed giving Rory a kiss on her forehead. Tate is in another bed in the same room. Ryker hears me approaching and turns to face me.
“How are they? What did the doctor say? When are they going to wake up?” I rush to say.
He pulls me to him. “They’ll be fine. They are testing to see what she used. They believe it’ll wear off shortly.”
“Thank God.” I plop in the chair next to Tate and take his hand. “Where is she at?” I look over my shoulder at him.
He rubs the back of his neck. “She was taken care of, baby girl. We couldn’t help it. She was holding a gun to Tate’s head when we barged in and Spook took the shot when he could. I’m sorry you won’t get to make her pay. We need to talk about her son.”
“What is there to talk about?”
“He was there. He’s somewhere in this hospital. He’s bruised and banged up.”
“I need you to go get Chase and bring him in here for a second.” He looks at me dumfounded. “It’ll all be explained in a second.”
He goes to the waiting room and returns shortly with Chase.
“Chase, you know about what we talked about earlier.” He nods. “He’s here in this hospital. I’m sure CPS is probably with him and you can request a paternity test while he’s here to get your answers.”
He swallows thickly. “Angel, what am I going to do if he’s mine?”
“You’re going to raise him just like I’ve raised mine. It’ll most likely be a little harder for you because Ryker thinks he was abused by her.”
“Angel, I live at the clubhouse. I don’t have a home of my own. They won’t let him come with me to stay at an MC clubhouse.”
“Chase, let’s take it one step at a time. You forget you have the whole club at your back. If he is yours, we’ll figure it out.”
“Thanks, Angel.” He comes over and gives me a hug, and if I’m not mistaken Ryker is growling.
Chase heads out of the room in search of answers. Ryker stares at me waiting for an explanation and I tell him everything that was discussed. By the time I’m done, the tension from his shoulders has released.
“Fuck, baby girl. I can’t imaging what Chase is going through, but what really pisses me off is that she treated her own kid that way.”
“Ry, this is Sammy we’re talking about and did you get an explanation about her change in appearance before it all went down.”
“Yeah, I got to hear most of the story. Apparently, she received a nice sized inheritance when her dad died, so when I finally broke it off, she moved to Richmond, Virginia so she could have the plastic surgery done. She even wore brown-colored contacts. I’m guessing that once she was healed, she moved here to exact her revenge or whatever her end plan was. The first night that I saw you at the bar, she talked to me and I dismissed her for you. I believe that is when it set her off because she went missing. Then the final straw was when I went to the club to meet with your dad. She overheard me asking him if I had his permission to marry you. For the last month, she plotted how to hurt us. Getting the kids was her sure fired way of hurting us, but she didn’t have enough time to finish what she had planned.”
“Jesus. I don’t normally wish death on anyone, but honestly I’m glad this is over. I feel bad for her son.”
“Everything will work out, baby girl.” He kisses me softly and we’re interrupted by my beautiful boy.
“Gross, Dad.” Tate’s voice cracks. We both glance at our son as Rory starts to come to. “Can you like do that when I’m not around?”
“Bud, I’ll try, but I can’t promise anything. I like kissing your momma.” He squeezes my shoulders. “How are you feeling?”
“My mouth taste nasty and my head hurts a little, but I’m okay. Rory, are you okay over there?”
Rory stretches on her bed and whispers. “I’m good. Where is Jake?”
“He’s in his own room, baby.” Ryker responds.
“Can Tate and I go see him? His momma was really mean to him and made him cry a lot. He needs his friends.”
“I’ll see if we can visit him after the doctor says you two are okay.” I tell them and they both nod their heads and lay back.
Epilogue
Three months later
RYKER
The past few months have been slightly unbearable. Dani and I found out we’re having another set of twins. Chase was indeed Jacob’s father and they moved into the basement of our house. Chase and Trigger stay in the rooms downstairs, while Tate and Jacob share a room like Rory and Lyla. It’s getting a little cramped, but Chase has plans to move into his new place with Jacob by the end of the month.
Today is Sunday, which is a down day since the bar is closed. We’re hosting a spontaneous pool party. Dani is eighteen weeks pregnant, but by her count she’s over it. She isn’t quite waddling, but her strides are a little widened. She’s walking around the pool in a purple bikini trying to get all the kids to get out so they can get lotioned up again and eat. Poor thing isn’t getting very far.
I stand from my lounge chair and yell, “Out of the pool kids or I’ll close it down for the rest of the summer.” That gets their attention and all four of them including Trigger get out of the pool.
Trigger comes closer to me and shakes his hair out getting me wet. “God, Dad. We were enjoying the waves.” He whines.
“Yeah, Dad. Don’t you just like to chill on the raft and take in the sun of this most beautiful day?” I stare at my son. If he didn’t look just like me, I would think he was Trigger’s with the way he acts just like him sometimes.
“Bud, did you not hear your mother talking to you?” I ask him sternly. He shakes his head no. “Well, she has been trying to get ya’ll out of the pool for the past fifteen minutes.”
He lowers his head, “Sorry, Dad. I didn’t hear her. If I had I would’ve listened.”
“I know son, but sometimes it’s not a good idea to act like Trigger. It’ll pr
obably end up getting you in trouble.” I smirk at the frown on Trigger’s face.
“Gotcha, I won’t play follow the leader with him anymore. I’ll be the leader from now on and I think I need to take Trigger to Aunt Queenie so she can put him in timeout.” He grabs Trigger’s hand and tugs. “Come on Trigger. Aunt Queenie told me the next time you acted up that she wanted to handle you.”
“Oh come on, Tate.” He slowly follows Tate and continuously complaining, but I’m unable to hear him anymore.
Dani walks up beside me and tucks her body to my side with her arm around my waist. “Did you get Trigger in trouble again?”
“No, baby girl. He gets himself in trouble.”
She turns to face me getting on her tip toes to whisper in my ear. “You think we can disappear for a few minutes. I have something to show you that needs your attention.”
I don’t say a word to her and take her hand maneuvering her through the crowd of people. I nod at my Pops who smiles and we continue into the house.
Once we make it to our bedroom, Dani struts over towards the bed taking off her bathing suit with every step. By the time she gets to the foot of the bed, she is completely naked and is bending over the bed with her ass in the air.
“Ryker, I have this spot that needs some special attention. Can you help me out?”
I swallow and walk up behind her letting my swimming trunks fall to my ankles. I cup her ass and rub. “Where is this spot?”
She wiggles her ass. “Can you move your hand a little lower?” I move it an inch or two. “A little lower, wetness marks the spot, Ry.” She moans as I find her wetness and spread her pussy lips with my fingers.
“Is this where you need special attention, baby girl?”
She lowers her head to the bed making her ass stick up higher and moans. “Yessss…”
I edge my cock closer to her entrance while I rub her clit. “What else do you need?”
“More.”
I grasp my cock and position it at her entrance and push in a little. “Is this enough?
“Ryker, please…more.” She whimpers.
I lose the control I had when she pushes out and half of my length is swallowed by her pussy. I push in the rest of the way in and still. Shit, she still strangles my cock with her pussy and this pregnancy has her wetter than ever before.
I grab the hair at the nape neck and tug her head back. I lean forward and whisper in her ear. “Is this good enough for you?” I tug on her ear lobe.
“I need it harder, Ryker.” She moans.
I pull almost all the way out and ram back into her harder setting a vicious pace. Within a few minutes, Dani screams and I cover her mouth with my hand. “Baby girl, we have a house full of people, you need to be quiet.” She nods her head.
I keep up the pace until I feel my balls tighten and after two more strokes, I come hard. I close my eyes seeing white dots. I fall to the bed avoiding Dani and landing on my back. She snuggles up close to me.
“Ryker, I think our glitches have finally dissipated.” She kisses my jaw.
“Yeah, baby girl, but those glitches made us who we are today and I know that I’ll be marrying a beautiful, caring and loyal woman after you’ve giving me the joy of watching you give birth to my babies once again.”
“Yep and I get to marry the love of my life. I love you, Ryker, glitches and all.
“I love you too, baby girl, glitches and all.”
