C’mon, she’s a Sparkle… you knew it was going to be something artsy-craftsy.
At first she was pretty upset. But once she got a handle on the nuisance properties of glitter, she got on board fast.
Octavia and I now battle on the Junior Super Circuit against other beginner supervillains and superheroes. Some of the battles can get a little unstructured.
But it’s fun and that’s the point. With Dr. Deplorable out of the way, the superbattles are no longer winner takes all, but winner picks up the root beers after the battle.
My parents are back to semiretirement and trying to cope with their new affection skills.
Octavia’s parents are as obnoxiously positive as ever.
Mr. Awesome has returned to opening shopping malls and grocery stores.
And Dr. Deplorable? Well, he’s gone. The Smear wasn’t too clear about what happens when your soul gets stained. Let’s just say world domination is the last thing on his mind.
Meanwhile, the Smear is hard at work writing his memoirs.
He stays in touch. He still takes time to show me some pointers. He’s always reminding me what’s really important.
