Like a stallion, fucking Quentin outlasted them. He really did have amazing stamina. God help her.

The semen strewn in liquid puddles all over her flushing tits oozed down her body. Quentin kept battering her with his cock and it sent her over again. Another earth-shattering orgasm crashed into her and she screamed. Her cunt squeezed his thrusting erection like it was her lifeline, but the death-grip only intensified her fall into reckless abandon.

The toy buzzed in harsh waves like a drove of angry hornets. The fierce vibrations showered her with sparks that made her scream more. When it passed, she flopped forward onto the other man’s lap, riding out the post-orgasmic ripples that pulsed through her in thrilling shockwaves. The man that she had sucked off didn’t touch her. It didn’t bother her too much, though it would have been nice to have her hair played with while Quentin hammered into her from behind.

The semen staining her overheated breasts started to coagulate into thick globs of goo. She had to smile that it smeared on the stranger’s jeans as well as all over her skin. Well hey, if he was all about dishing his sperm out, he should be man enough to take it, too, a messy little souvenir of their filthy, anonymous game together.

They weren’t fooling her at all. She just knew it had to be either René or Justin, though it didn’t smell like them. There was something familiar about this person’s essence. The smell of their skin made her perfectly happy in a deep, fateful kind of way. She felt hot and connected to this person because of that familiar scent that greeted her nose, though she didn’t know why and couldn’t quite place it.

Charlie ran through her head and she shoved his memory to the back of her mind. Goddamn him for breaking into her thoughts during a hot and heavy sack session. This was about her sexual adventure as a woman, not about pining after the jackass.

Quentin finally came. His manic final plunges summoned one last climax from her. This one was inferior in its intensity, but lord, it felt overpowering anyway because of her exhaustion. Her broken cries died on the other man’s skin. Her cheek rested against his hairy thigh while her tits smashed against his pant legs, squishing the messy cum between them.

The toy was shut off, but Quentin took his time about composing himself and catching his breath, or maybe he just wanted to teach her patience and bend her to his will. That was all fine and great, as long as he let her have a nap after her shower. One couldn’t expect to be fucked with such voracity and not be granted a recuperative nap afterward.

She practically flailed when he ejected from her body. He gave her hair a tug, indicating that she should stand. Something in the caveman gesture thrilled her and caused her to obey. In the past she had objected to such treatment outside the bedroom, but there had been more than one occasion when she’d found herself tempted by it. In bed, it aroused the hell out of her.

Quentin led her into another room. This time, she was guided by the hand up some stairs instead of down them. When they reached their destination, he took the blindfold off her and she saw that they were in René’s bedroom.

She turned her iPod off and then took the ear pieces out and set it all on the nightstand. Biting her lip, she smothered a heated groan when Quentin slid the butt plug out of her.

“You did very well, ginger.” He kissed her forehead. “I’m proud of you.”

“Thank you, Sir. Did the other guy look happy?”

He grinned. “Oh yes, you made him very happy. You may shower now.”

“Thanks. I was going to take a nap afterward, if you don’t mind.”

“That would be fine. Enjoy yourself.” He headed toward the door, stopping when she called his name.

  “So who was it?”

He flaunted a mischievous smile. “I’ll never tell.”

“That’s not fair. I’ll go crazy if I never know.”

“Someday I will tell you, but today is not that day.”

She shook her head with a frustrated little smile. “God, Quentin, you’re such a tease.”

  He chuckled and walked out.

Charlie tapped his fingers on the armrest. He’d heard that hot fucking bastard leave with the woman, but he hadn’t come back. He’d better, or there would be hell to pay.

The anonymous woman’s mouth had been to-die-for. Her soft, steamy suckling was second only to the unreal entrapment whenever Quentin put his mouth on his penis. That might have been because nobody sucked cock like his best friend, or it could have been due to the fact that the redheaded little minx had her claws in Quentin and Charlie hated it more than he cared to admit to.

Footsteps he knew damned well were Quentin’s drew closer. “About time.”

“So impatient,” Quen said. “Your dick is a mess.”

“Oh, and what are you gonna do about it?”

“Not a thing. You already came as did I. I have no need for you now.”

Charlie scowled as Quentin untied him. “Fucking bastard.”

He ripped the blindfold off and then stood to pull his jeans up and close his fly.

  “Did you enjoy your treat?”

“I’m not your fucking pet, and yeah, she sucks cock good. How serious are you about her?”

  “Why do you ask?”

  “You know why.”

“So you would not marry me, but you don’t want anyone else to. How selfless of you.”

“Marriage? You crazy fuck. How long have you known her?”

“It was merely a statement. You don’t want me to end up happy.”

“Of course I do, just not with anyone else.”

“And yet you won’t commit to me.”

Charlie rolled his eyes. “Ugh! Here we go again. We’ve been over this. I don’t want to be tied down unless it’s with both a man and a woman I care deeply about. Some people can pick one or the other, but I need both. I’m greedy like that.”

  “You proposed to Kendall.”

“Yeah, with the understanding that she had to spread her legs for you and my brothers, the same as she would with me.”

Quentin smirked. “Is that really how you proposed to her?”

“Oh, shut up. Yours to me wasn’t much better.” Charlie headed toward the front door.

“What if Kendall was to come back into your life and want a second chance with you? Would you give it to her?”

The very idea made his heart beat a little faster. He shifted on his feet to face Quentin. “Only after some serious fucking groveling on her part. I see her again she’s getting a spanking and a hard fucking for what she put me through. I won’t marry her unless she’s willing to accept them...and you.”

He felt softness tug on his heart at the way Quentin looked at him.

“I found out a long time ago that I can’t be without either one of you. So don’t you go marrying some random broad on me or I’ll have to kill you.”

The comment made Quentin smirk. “It sounds like you’re giving me an order. When you do that, Charlie, it tells me that you want me to hold you down and remind you which of us is the more dominant of the two.”

  “Keep posturing, prairie chicken.”

Quentin got his attention when he turned to leave again. “You didn’t ask about my stipulation for marrying a man. He would have to acknowledge my superiority and show me the ultimate respect by bottoming for me. He would have to submissively spread his tight ass cheeks and lie there while I fuck my dick deep inside him. He would dominate our woman with me, but when he was alone with me, he would remember his place...beneath me and completely open to me as I thrust my big, hard cock deep inside of him.”

The explicit words put Charlie on guard, but despite the brazen challenge to his authority, there was no denying the barrage of heat bolts that shot through him because of it.

“Fuck her ass,” he spat. “That’ll take the sting off your ego.”

Quentin’s expression cooled significantly. “Is that what you think this is about?”

“Don’t you start with me.” Charlie left in
a huff.

He knew Quentin would never back down. The controlling motherfucker had an assertive nature that went on for days, whereas there were traitorous moments when Charlie briefly contemplated just giving in to the man’s demands.

The fear of feeling whipped and emasculated afterward by letting another man top him always snapped him out of that innocent curiosity. They could just be a no-ass-sex couple. It wouldn’t bother him so much if Quentin would just drop the issue. But the man kept throwing it up in his face, pushing him to commit.

Fuck him. Commitment would happen when and if he ever got both of the loves of his life back. None of this halfway crap, though there were times when he figured maybe he would just marry Quentin and they could share random women together from time to time whenever the need for pussy struck.

Ah, but that precious little plan always crumbled when they got right back to the “Your ass, no, your ass” issue.

Quentin was even more muscular than he was and that irritated him about as much as it made him crazy for naked time with the man. Charlie had an impressive, athletic build. Quentin had the burly physique of a deity from Olympus. Not quite steroid level, but definitely testicle-shrinking to any other man when he walked into a room. Charlie didn’t feel the need to overthrow the buff mutant bastard...except when the man went all alpha-male “Give me that ass” on him. He had to admit their power struggle amused him sometimes, even though it frustrated the hell out of him.

Quentin could go fuck himself. Charlie wasn’t backing down for anybody. He was his own man, free, unbridled and subject to no one, and he sure as hell wasn’t compromising for any reason. He hadn’t for Kendall and he wouldn’t for Quentin, either.

A stinging pang of regret tried to hurt him inside and convince him that he was at least partially to blame for the end of those relationships, but he shut that motherfucker the hell up. It was all Kendall’s fault, just like his current turmoil with Quentin was the other man’s fault. He wouldn’t bend a knee to the aggressive fucker.

But then again, something honest and buried deep in his subconscious had a sneaking suspicion that maybe that was part of the reason why he’d lost his beloved Kendall in the first place—because he hadn’t been willing to compromise on what he wanted with her.

There was a chance that same detrimental pattern of selfishness would be the downfall of his tumultuous relationship with Quentin. Pride would ruin him. That thought was a wedge in his self-satisfaction that stood between him and the inner peace he’d had during his relationship with Quentin in his youth, and also later on when he’d been dating Kendall and discovered that loving a woman could be just as sweet and all-consuming as falling for another man.

Charlie felt smug that Quentin was frustrated and Kendall was probably pining after him somewhere in her futile attempt to replace him. Like she could. It was so satisfying to know that they were horny, frustrated, and hurting without him and that he was doing just fine. He didn’t need anyone.

He scowled, feeling crabby against the chasm of desolation and loneliness that manifested as a dull ache in his chest. Deep down, he knew he wasn’t fine.

  Chapter Fifteen

Kendall stood near the window in René’s bedroom, watching the rain fall. She’d been with them a week after Rene had talked her into staying. She still had one more week left before making her decision about whether to stay or go. She’d tried showing him pictures of New York and pointing out all there was to do there. She most definitely showed him photos of Central Park so he’d see that there were natural elements to the city. His response was always the same. He said it would be a nice place to visit.

She sighed, enjoying the soft, soothing chorus of rainfall.

Then there was Quentin. She had to admit she was falling in love with him, had really already been taken with him from their correspondence online. It would be difficult to say good-bye to him after all the time they’d spent together in both the real and virtual world, even if René did end up consenting to go to Manhattan with her.

She couldn’t forget about Charlie, either. It surprised her that she hadn’t run into him in the small town during her stay here. It both relieved and depressed her. This was really her only chance to get to see him. God, she wanted to, but she didn’t want him to see her. If she could just glimpse him walking down the street without him spotting her, maybe it would be enough. If he was happy now without her, it would both satisfy and kill her. Just one last look and maybe it would be enough to last her a lifetime, even if she never saw him again.

She’d been living a half-life without him. Having to lose two more men she cared deeply about would damage her beyond repair. Her heart couldn’t take this crap anymore.

Footsteps announced an intruder, but she knew by their sound that the footfalls belonged to Quentin, her Dom. Her Sir. How the hell could she lose him?

But to stay in McKenna Downs would mean giving up on a dream that could only truly be fulfilled in a massive city of opportunity like New York. She had to go. Freakin’ René would just have to come to his senses and go with her. It was the only way they could be together. Why couldn’t he just see that?

She glanced over her shoulder at Quentin and gave him a meek smile. Although glad to see him, the curvature of her lips didn’t sink into her heart this time. There was just too much on her mind and too much pain in her heart.

“Are you all right?” he asked.

She felt vaguely comforted when his heavy hand came to rest on her shoulder. “I’ll be okay. I’m just so confused.”

“About your upcoming decision, or your feelings for three men?”

Damn, nothing got past him. She hadn’t told him she loved him, and she certainly hadn’t hinted in the slightest that she still had feelings for Charlie.

  “Both.”

“The men of McKenna Downs are stubborn,” Quentin informed her.

  “I noticed.”

“René will not move to New York with you.”

Glumness dampened her spirit like the shower outside saturated the earth. “That’s what I’m afraid of.”

“My place is here as well. René deserves to know that you’re still in love with Charlie.”

Her heart scampered like mad in her chest.

Stop it, Sherlock! Quit reading me.

  “How did you know?”

  “I’m observant.”

“I’ll say. Does Charlie have a girlfriend?”

He sat down in a chair by the window, seeming amused by the question for some reason. “No. Charlie does not have a girlfriend.”

His answer relieved her, but consolation fled when it occurred to her that the reason he probably didn’t have a girlfriend right now was because he was still playing.

“If you’re serious about René, you must tell him the truth.”

“How can I, when I love him so much? I don’t want to hurt him. I just want to be with him.”

“He deserves to know. Besides, who is to say an arrangement can’t be worked out?”

  “Like what?”

“Did it never occur to you that René might be willing to share you with me permanently?”

She turned sideways to face him. “What?”

“That is the tradition in McKenna Downs. I have been friends with the Huntingtons for many years. Things are different here, and we want our friends and brothers to be happy, even if it means sharing a woman with them, or a wife.”

Kendall gaped at him. “Oh my god. Charlie wanted that with me a long time ago. It would be really hot, but I don’t understand why you and René wouldn’t be jealous of each other.”

“I just told you, that is the way in McKenna Downs, and our loyalty to a close friend or a brother runs deep. There is no room for jealousy here. You either believe René when he says that he loves you, and also me when I tell you that I love you, or you don’t.”

“You love me?” she whispered in awe.

Quentin gave her a single, reassuring nod. “I do, very much.”
>
Her eyes misted. This was wonderful, and making it that much harder to walk away from them. “I love you, too.”

They embraced and held each other for a long, tender moment before she stepped back and gazed out the window again. The windowpane had water drops on it in places, and other parts had streams of runoff water that trickled down the window in odd patterns.

“If Charlie and René could find a way to get along and you discovered that Charlie still had feelings for you, would you stay?” he asked.

She thought about it for a second without looking at him. “If I could have all three of the men I love without tearing their friendship or brotherhood apart, then yes, I would stay.”

Justin sat on the hood of his car in the dark outside the club after closing time, texting Jasmine. He looked up when he heard footsteps, heart stuttering at the sight of Aiden approaching.

“What happened with Kendall? It’s not like you not to rabbit on about your comical pursuit of women,” Aiden sassed.

“For your information, I dumped Kendall. We had a heart-to-heart and both agreed to just stay friends.”

“Was this after you fucked her?”

“No. I didn’t sleep with her.”

“But you fooled around with her or at least shifted her.”

Justin’s head jerked in confusion. “What?”

“You kissed her, pawed at her.”

“No. I never touched her. She’s like a sister to me.”

“Ah, a sister now, is it?”

“Yeah, I’m attracted to her, but what you said the other night really freaked me out.”

  “What’s that?”

“About not settling. I don’t want to be one of the men. I want to be somebody’s one-and-only man.” Justin watched his thumb tracing the outline of his cell phone. “I don’t even know what happened. Kendall is beautiful, but I’ve always preferred brunettes. I think Jasmine is more my type, anyway.”
