And the damn timer on the clock dinged again.

“I have to take care of this,” he whispered sadly as he pulled away.

“Do you have enough of your order done where you can wait a bit before putting in the next tray?” I asked hesitantly.

“All I have left is to make a few dozen more muffins,” he answered with a smile. “The batter is all made and they get cooked for six minutes. So yes, I have several hours before the baker gets here. I always allow myself more than enough time because if I make extra that means more money for us. Plus, I like to have extra time in case something goes wrong.”

“So responsible of you. For that you should be rewarded,” I purred as I went to my knees and lifted his apron. “And for the wonderful food you fed me.”

“That was nothing,” he moaned as I unfastened his pants and pulled his thick cock out. “You should come to dinner tonight. I’m making lamb.”

“I would love to but I think it’s best I stay to the shadows until I know you all better,” I whispered as I stroked him. “I’ve trusted the wrong people before and when they found out what I truly was and what I could do for them, it didn’t go well for me.”

“You take all the time you need,” he said gently as he cupped my cheek. “My brothers and I will show you that we’re worthy of your trust.” He gave me a wink as I took him into my mouth. “We don’t lock the back door. I’ll leave a dish of leftovers on the table for you.”

I smiled and nodded. The idea of a real lamb dish made me moan in pleasure. I sucked him hard and fast, Dromio staring down at me and biting his lip. He was restraining himself not to thrust down my throat and I appreciated that.

“I can’t take anymore,” he growled and pulled away from me. I yelped as he lifted me into his arms and carried me over to the table. He must have been working on the bread there too because the table was covered with flour. “Say I can have you, Taji?”

“Yes, take me,” I begged as I spread my legs wide for him as he laid me down like a buffet. He searched around frantically and found some cooking oil before moving back between my legs. I moaned as his slick fingers fondled my hole before pushing inside of me. Dromio quickly but thoroughly stretched me out and minutes later was carefully pushing inside of me.

Dromio was very gentle and tender with me whereas Callum had been full of passion and fire. Ansel was all about using his strength that had taken us both for a ride. Each brother was unique in their own style but equally enjoyable.

“Amazing,” he gasped when we were both done. He was leaning over me but propped up on his elbows so he didn’t smash me. “You are simply amazing, Taji.” He ran his finger over my lips and down to my nipples. “But you won’t stay, will you?”

“The night with you? No,” I whispered. “I’m not moving on from this area for a while though. If things work out how I hope they might, I would never leave.”

“So I’ll see you again?” I smiled brightly at him and nodded. “I’d like to do that again too if you’re not too sore?”

“Will you let me show you how it can be when you give up control and let someone magical lead?” I asked softly. He nodded and pulled out of me with a moan. I got to my feet and wrapped my arms around him, kissing him madly as I took us both to the floor. “Do me a favor?”

“Of course,” he agreed with a smile. I grabbed his hard cock and lowered myself onto it.

“Tell Brix if he wants to meet me tomorrow night that the others need to stayinside and sleep. I won’t show myself to them if I think they will all gang up on me. Only one-onone.”

“Why tell me this now?” he asked, his gaze holding confusion.

“Because you won’t still be conscious when we’re done,” I purred and started moving my hips. Dromio’s eyes went wide as I rode him as no human could. I stroked myself, smiling when he licked his lips. When it was time I shot all over his mouth and neck, my lover moaning at the taste of me. Then he filled my ass, crying out in bliss and going limp when he was spent.

I giggled when I recovered, the wide smile on Dromio’s sleeping face saying it all. I stood and cleaned myself up quickly with a towel and the water in the basin. Then I repeated what I saw him do with the muffins and put them in the stove. It took me a moment to set the wind-up timer, but I figured it out.

I was cleaning the counter while I waited for the muffins to bake when I saw his instructions on how to make the muffins. I could replicate this recipe. I knew I couldn’t handle kneading dough or adding the stuff to make it rise, but muffins were just measuring out, mixing, and baking. I could do that.

When the muffins in the oven were done, I took them out to cool and used the other pan to make more. As I waited for one interval to bake I cleaned the kitchen more or made more batter. By the time dawn rolled around I had several dozen more muffins than Dromio had said he needed and the kitchen was spotless. I had put coffee on the stove, not sure how strong they liked it, and was just about to leave when I turned and saw three large men in the doorway.

  “You’re here?” Callum whispered.

“Yes,” I purred as I walked over to him and kissed him deeply. “There’s coffee on the stove and I made more muffins than your brother said he needed so he could sellthe extras but you’d still have breakfast.” Then I turned to Ansel. “Hello, handsome.” He growled and kissed me breathless while massaging my ass. When he let me go I stepped right in front of Brix. “I heard you wanted to meet me?”

“Yes, very much so,” he panted as I ran my hands up his chest.

“Then everyone else stays in bed tonight while you come sit outside,” I said evenly as I glanced back at the others. “I don’t like feeling as if there’s a posse waiting for me. Only one at a time until I trust you better.”

“That’s fair,” Ansel agreed and Callum nodded. I smiled at them before turning back to Brix.

“I’ll see you tonight then?” He nodded as well, as if too shocked to speak. I darted out the door and towards the stream, moving faster than I knew they could have kept up with. When I was out of sight of the house, I circled back to the barn and slipped inside. I shifted once I was back in my stall, smiling at the good I’d done.

  Chapter 4

After the sun fell I went down the stream to bathe. Callum had given me a good workout and not as many chances to rest today. That was okay though because we got two fields done and they were in as good of shape as the one we’d done the day before. By the time I walked towards the house, the moon was shining and the house was dark.

I smiled when I saw Brix on the porch and walked over to him, climbing the creaky porch steps. “Good evening, Brix.”

“You came,” he whispered with a shy smile. He was holding a steaming bowl of food and I nodded to it. “Dromio said he promised to save you some lamb and was going to leave it on the table for you. But I thought I should make sure it was warm and with one of his rolls.”

“That was very kind of you,” I said as I took the bowl from him and slid my leg over his lap to straddle him. “I feel special that you would take such consideration for me.”

“I simply kept it warm for you. Dromio’s the one who made it all.” He cleared his throat as I stabbed a piece of meat and ate it. I moaned at how good it was, tender enough to practically fall apart in my mouth. Then I stabbed one of the potatoes and ate it right up as well. The thick gravy sauce was wondrous.

“I can’t tell you the last time I had a meal this great and with such handsome company,” I purred before taking another bite. Every time I made a pleased noise I felt Brix get a little harder in his pants… Under my ass. He handed me the mug of ale and I took just a sip to wet my throat. He gave me a questioning look. “I haven’t had ale in a long time. I wouldn’t want to get drunk and pass out on you. I only had a little last night with Dromio as well.”

“You look a little tired. Maybe you need to just pass out tonight and get some good rest. You’ve been doing a lot to help us around here and I worry we might be taking advanta
geof that kindness.”

“You really worry about me?” I whispered, not sure if anyone had cared so much about my well-being since my parents.

“We all discussed it over dinner. It’s hard to know though for sure if you’re getting rest or not since we don’t know where you go during the day.”

“I want to tell you all,” I hedged, taking another bite of the roll to decide what I wanted to say. “I just need a little more time.”

“I wasn’t trying to push you,” he said quickly and then relaxed when I smiled. “You’ve done so much for us, Taji. Dromio was able to sell all those extra muffins and the baker was quite pleased with him. We need that income until we get this place up and running.”

“It was fun actually,” I giggled and then sipped more ale. “I haven’t baked anything since I was a boy.”

“That can’t have been that many years ago.” He eyed me over and I understood that look. My appearance was about twenty-one years old.

“Would it make you uncomfortable to know my real age? I’m much older than I look,” I warned.

“Callum told me you were magic so I guessed it’s not what you appear.”

“I’m over three hundred years old.” His eyes went wide as his jaw dropped slightly. “Still want to know me?”

“Of course,” he sputtered as I kept eating. “Age is just a number, Taji. It’s not like you lookthat age. I think you are beautiful.”

“Would you not want me if I was older looking?”

“Only if I was too,” he joked and gave me a wink. I could live with that answer. Humans had such strange ideas of what beauty and morality were to them. I finished the food in silence, taking another drink of ale before Brix set everything down next to him on the porch. “Would you like to go for a walk?”

“We could do that,” I agreed. I wasn’t sure what the plan was but if he wanted to get more comfortable with me I was fine with it. “Or I could give you relief and ease your worries right now?”

He blushed as he moved me off his lap before he stood. “I’m quite vocal and I didn’t want to announce to everyone what we were doing. Besides, I’d like to spend some time talking with you first if that’s okay. You intrigue me.”

“All right then.” I smiled at him as he took my hand. We walked down to the stream, talking about the land and their plans on how to turn the farm around.

“Eventually I’d like to put in a shop. Ansel said as soon as we have money to start buying materials he would make sure it gets done. I was known for the swords I made back in the village I used to live in.”

“I assume working with fire would make you very hot.” I cleared my throat and leered at his large, muscular frame. “You’d probably work shirtless and be sweaty. I like watching you work like that.”

He stumbled a step and I realized my mistake. “When have you seen me work, Taji?”

“I never go that far during the day,” I answered honestly but vaguely. “I see and hear lots of things.”

“Oh.” There was a quiet moment before his next question. “Why do you only come out at night then?”

“It’s complicated,” I sighed and let go of his hand. I sat on the bank of the stream, staring out at the running water. “I’ve trusted the wrong people before so it’s hard for me to know who is worthy of telling the truth to. Please be patient with me.”

“Okay, baby,” he whispered as he wrapped an arm around me after sitting as well. I snuggled into the embrace and he kissed my hair. “Can I ask what happens after tonight?”

“What do you mean?” I glanced up at him and saw worry on his face. “What troubles you?”

“Does Callum meet you tomorrow again? Will we rotate spending time with you, work out a schedule or something? This is all so strange to me, Taji.”

“You don’t have to be with me,” I snapped and pulled away from him. Why did people have to complicate things?

“That’s not what I’m saying,” he pleaded as he pulled me back against him, moving me so I was on his lap. “I’m just trying to figure out what you expect. What’s easiest for you? Are there others?”

“No, there are no others than you and your brothers,” I assured him. “I like spending time with each of you. You’re all different but with such big hearts. I like that Callum and Ansel were so happy after our time together. I’ve not seen Dromio since but I hope he was happy as well.”

“He was smiling like a loon all day,” he chuckled, shaking his head. Then he bit his lip and looked unsure again before speaking. “What if any of us want more than just seeing you every fourth night?”

“I don’t know,” I answered, narrowing my eyes at him. “I guess that depends on you and your brothers.”

“I don’t understand,” he whispered, staring intently at my lips.

“I haven’t thought this all out, Brix. There’s no master plan here,” I replied, letting my frustration show in my tone. “I’d have to see how comfortable I become around all of you. Can you share me or will there be jealousy? For now, I’m offering my body to you for tonight. I can’t promise there will be a schedule or even a repeat.”

“Why wouldn’t there be a repeat?” He looked almost stricken at the idea. I got the feeling I wasn’t the only one here that had been hurt by the people who were supposed to care for us.

“Nothing in life is certain, Brix,” I said gently as I cupped his cheek. “We might not be compatible sexually. You might find you don’t like me as a person. Who knows? I’m not planning on leaving the area if that’s what you’re worried about. But I can’t guarantee that this will work. I offer you tonight. Do you want relief from your worries and to feel my body around yours?”

“Yes,” he moaned as he pulled me closer.

“Then stop talking about what might be and analyzing this to death and kiss me.” It worked because his lips were on mine. I started to divest him of his clothes, never breaking the kiss. It was my turn to be surprised when he pulled out a small bottle of oil from his pants. Glad he’d planned ahead because I’d forgotten the bottle Callum had brought before.

I cried out in pleasure as two slicked-up fingers pushed into my hole. I rode them as I stared into his eyes.

“I could get lost in your expressive eyes for a thousand nights, Taji,” he whispered before kissing me again. I held on as he stretched me and tortured my body in the best ways. Brix was different than his brothers. He needed. Oh, he was everywhere all at once he was so full of need and want. I swear the man had four hands and not just two.

When I was stretched he pulled his fingers free and rolled us so I was lying on the ground. His eyes met mine and I saw the desperation. “Please, Taji?”

I nodded at the request, having already said my body was his. It was sweet of him to ask again to make sure I hadn’t changed my mind. He plunged inside of me, giving a strangled groan of want as he did.

“Heaven. You feel like fucking heaven,” he rambled and cried out as he thrust into meharder and faster as he went. “Heaven filled with chocolate and cake. That’s what you feel like. I could eat you up as I take you.” He leaned over and kissed along my neck as if proving that last part. It would almost have been funny if he wasn’t bringing me such immense pleasure.

I was even having a hard time focusing on what he was saying. He plunged into my body over and over again, more times than I could count. I screamed his name, squirming under him as he took me with such force and need I moved along the grass. When he reached between us and stroked my dick, it was all over for me. I came so hard my back arched up with the force of it.

Brix’s climax was so forceful as well that I didn’t just feel him fill me up, I felt the bursting of it coming out of his cock. His whole body shook from it as mine did. I don’t know if it was his need I’d been feeling, wrapped up in or what, but it hadn’t been that long since I’d had sex last. It had just been last night with Dromio.

So why had I become this tight ball of need that released when I came? I wasn’t sure but
my head was swimming when it was over.

“Is that worth a repeat?” He gasped, a wide grin on his face. I blinked up at him a few times before he rolled us over, sprawling me over his body.

“Yes,” I giggled as I traced his nipple with my finger and relearned how to breathe. “Give me a moment to recover and I’ll show you why your brothers passed out.”

“As appealing at that sounds,” he said gently as he kissed my shoulder,“I was wondering if you’d be willing to take me?” I lifted my head enough to meet his gaze and he shrugged. “I like the feeling of someone inside of me as much as I like being inside of another man.”

“I can understand that.” I layback down. There wasn’t a damn thing wrong with wanting the best of both worlds. “I’m not very good at being on top. I’ve only done a few times but I’d love to feel you wrapped around my cock.”

“I need a few more minutes,” he mumbled as he wrapped his thick arms around me. “You seem to have worn me out, Taji.”

“I know the feeling.” I kissed his chest, feeling like a nap myself. “We’re in no rush. I won’t turn into a pumpkin at midnight.”

“I know that,” he chuckled. “I saw you this morning in the kitchen and there were a lot of things I could have called you to describe the way you looked. But pumpkinwasn’t one of them. Though that might be a cute pet name.”

“Try it and I’ll never touch you again,” I threatened. We shared a laugh and snuggled into each other. After a quick nap, I stretched Brix out and took him. He passed out when we were done and I found myself exhausted. Maybe I had been pushing a little too hard lately. Then again, it was probably just the workout Callum had given me.

Either way, my limbs were tired and heavy feeling as I walked back to the barn. The moment I was in my stall I shifted back and fell asleep.

  Chapter 5

“Well why didn’t he say who gets to see him tonight?” Ansel bellowed from outside of the barn. I woke with a start, surprised I hadn’t awoken with dawn like normal.
