The Alpha Warlocks' Desire: An Alpha Warlocks of Kala West Story #2 (A BWWM and BBW Paranormal Erotic Ménage Romance) Page 7

Claire realized that she never heard the book she tossed hit the ground.

She turned and saw the banes of her existence standing in the shop’s entrance. Axel and Jett were there. Right. In. Front of her. Double shit in a magic bubble.

Jett held the discarded book in his hand, and Axel stood beside him.

She never realized how tall they were until they overshadowed the entryway. Two larger-than-life warlocks ready to conquer their little magic shop.

Their clothes were torn, soaked, and full of sand as if they’d been in an elemental war.

What happened after she left? She only saw one punch. They smelled of magic, which meant they fought each other using it. Were they okay? Were they injured?

No. Nope. She so wasn’t going there. Why should she care if they fought like alpha wolves? What they did to each other didn’t concern her.

It never did, and it never would. She was honest enough to admit to herself the thought of that hurt.

“I’m sorry,” Claire said. “We’re closed.”

Axel rushed over to the counter. “We didn’t come to buy magic charms, Claire.”

“You are not walking in this store like that!” she shouted. She was not going on a cleaning spree just because these crazy warlocks couldn’t control themselves.

Axel huffed, but his eyes glowed deep with his element. A robust wind encircled both warlocks until they were dry and sand-free.

If she wasn’t mad at them, she would’ve complimented their ability. Thank the goddess, she was mad at them.

“What did you come here for?” she spat out. Her voice was bitter, even to her. Good. Maybe they’d hear it and leave.

“You,” Jett growled. “We came for you. Our witch.”

She laughed. What else could she do? “You don’t want me, remember? Made that perfectly clear. More than once, if I recall, since you ran away from me the first time we met. So like I said, the store is closed.”

“You’re not getting rid of us,” Axel said, making his way around the counter.

Claire backed up. With each move he made towards her, she moved further away. “What game are you two playing, because it isn’t funny?” She felt the first tear fall. Damn it. Now she was crying. They did not get to see her cry.

Jett jumped over the counter before she could move away. She was trapped between both of them behind the small space between the glass display case and the bookshelf. There was nowhere to move or run to, and she couldn’t magic herself to the other side of the counter. In order to do so, she’d have to stop being an emotional wreck in time to focus.

Jett reached out to her and caught the second tear before it slid down her cheek. He rubbed it between his finger and thumb, and then he locked eyes with her. Jett didn’t blink as he brought his fingers to his lips and sucked on them.

The suckling was gentle, and one of the sexiest things Claire had ever seen a man do with his mouth.

She felt her insides jerk with longing for him to do that to other parts of her body. Need filled her and overshadowed the sadness until all she could focus on were Jett’s lips.

“Do you feel that?” Axel whispered up against her ear.

When did he get that close to her? “Feel what?” she asked. She barely recognized her voice, deep and low with lust.

“Your essence,” Axel said. “Your magic screams how horny you are for us.”

Axel kissed her neck, and she leaned back into him. Oh, that felt good. It felt right.

Jett ran his fingers slightly up her blouse until he met with her flesh underneath.

“Oh, goddess,” Claire cried out. “Help me.” Then she remembered. “No.” She yanked Jett’s hand away and moved out of Axel’s grasp. She hopped on the counter, ready to bolt over to the other side. “You didn’t want me. You don’t get to just come in here and act like that didn’t happen. You rejected me!”

Jett closed his eyes as if she’d slapped him. “I’m sorry. So sorry, Claire. I never meant to hurt you.”

“Well, you did, and you know what? Matt took two years of my life doing the same thing. I’ll kill a warlock first before I ever let another one of you do that to me again. I may not be a size two, but I have feelings damn it.”

Jett flinched again but didn’t speak.

“Is that what you think?” Axel asked. “That we didn’t want you because you weren’t thin enough?”

“Not thin enough. Not powerful enough. I’ve heard it all before. Matt made sure of that.” She rubbed her head, feeling a tension headache coming on. “What does it matter now? It’s all in the past, right?” Claire felt a rush of air over her skin, and it didn’t take long for her to realize it was Axel’s magic stirring.

“Fuck Matt! He was weak and didn’t deserve you, Claire. He never did.” Axel ran his hands through his hair, frustration heavy in his strong features. “You see this, Jett?” Axel yelled. “See what a fucking mess you’ve made of things? Fix it. Now!”

The power in the air around them increased until Claire had to gasp for breath. It wasn’t just Axel. Jett was changing the atmospheric pressure too. The air around them was thick and growing heavier every second.

She took a deep breath. The air of both warlocks was intoxicating and made her dizzy all at once. Before she could exhale, Jett grabbed for her and crashed his mouth down onto hers.

His lips and tongue probed for her and demanded that she follow, and she did.

  Goddess help her, she did.

Claire closed her eyes and allowed Jett to possess her. She didn’t think. Her legs opened and wrapped themselves around his waist, begging for him to get closer, and he did. Her skirt rose up over her thighs as Jett’s hardness pressed up against the thin lace material of her panties.

Damn. Was he that hard for her? Because of her? How could he be that excited after denying her?

He pulled away but kept his erection nestled against her now wet center. If he kept doing that, her panties were going to be useless real quick.

“Claire Brixton,” Jett said, grinding into her. “I want you. I have from the moment I first saw you in this little shop of yours.”

“My sister’s shop,” she said absently. “But you said—”

“Fuck everything I’ve said up until now. It’s bullshit. All of it. You...” He shook his head and bowed it. “I feel like no matter what I say, I’ll just screw it up and make you hate me more.”

For the first time since she’d met Jett, she saw vulnerability in him, a kind of tenderness along with his desire that made him sound real for the very first time.

If he could show her that sensitivity to her now, couldn’t she listen to what he had to say without judgment?

Time to put on her pointy big-girl hat and witch up.

Claire placed a finger under Jett’s chin and lifted it until his eyes met hers. “I don’t hate you. I can’t, if I’m being honest. Not if you tell me the truth. Don’t I deserve that at least from you?”

He smiled, and she realized she’d never seen him do so until then.

Her breath caught. Jett smiling was a sight to behold.

“Axel was right. You are something amazing. Something I know I don’t deserve, but damn if I care anymore because I want you, Claire.”

He pulled back a little but never broke contact with her body.

“I’m not the commitment type, but when I first saw you, I knew I’d want no one else. I wanted to see you underneath me naked with your sexy ass moaning for me, with your yummy curves and all. Don’t you dare think you’re not hot enough because that’s a damn lie, Claire. And strength? You want to know what drew me into this store?”

Claire dared not speak because she was certain she wouldn’t have a voice this time, so she nodded for him to continue on.

“Your earth magic called to me. Ever since I first came to town, I felt this invisible force keeping me from leaving. I tried like hell to figure out what it was, but I never could. Until I met you. I was out for a simple run, and yo
ur powerful strength nearly knocked me on my ass and led me right to you. Your magic alone did that, so I never want to hear you call yourself weak again. Got it?”

She so never thought a man commanding a woman was sexy, but the way Jett ordered her to accept herself, she couldn’t deny him. It made her insides do a little happy dance. Parts of her even longed for more.

Oh, this was not going the way she’d planned. Not by a long shot. Didn’t she want them to leave? Why the hell was she starting to change her mind like an indecisive nutcase?

Jett continued on. “I rejected you because I knew what you were to me. You were our witch, mine and Axel’s. You completed us, and damn did that scare the shit out of me.”

  She gasped. “Why?”

“I’ve never had a reason to stay in one place for long, never wanted to. When I met you, before you even opened your eyes, I knew I’d give my soul away as long as it meant I’d never have to leave your side. I didn’t even know you, and I was willing to give you everything. All of me, Claire.”

Wow. That would scare anyone to death, even her. Claire thought she couldn’t breathe before, but that was child’s play.

Her whole body felt trapped in a bubble she shared with only Jett and Axel.

Jett had called her their witch. She hadn’t imagined it. Her heart ached for him along with the lust that plagued her body.

“You already know how I feel,” Axel cut in. “I’ve wanted you for as long as I’ve known you, Claire.”

“And now you’ve heard where I stand too,” Jett said. “What do you want Claire?”

Claire couldn’t help but think of what her sisters would have done.

Logical Charice, before her Perfect Mystical Triad, would have sent both of them packing and told them to never bother her again. She didn’t have to think twice about Carmen’s choice. Poor girl would have jumped them the minute they walked into the shop. Good thing Charice threw logic to the wind and probably would have followed Carmen’s lead because Claire was about to join their irrational behavior. She longed for what her older sister had with her two warlocks, Kye and Warren, and Claire wanted it with Axel and Jett.

Instead of giving them her answer, she reached for both men. Her lips found Axel first, confirming that she felt the same for him as he did for her. She wrapped her legs around Jett again, making sure he stayed right there.

A deep urgency was in Axel’s kiss, as if he were holding back before. This time he leaned into her and made sure she knew he wanted her.

When they parted, she wasted no time pulling Jett to her lips. Her men tasted so different yet similar in their bond. They tasted like hers.

When Jett pulled back, all three of them were panting.

Claire saw the glimmer of magic in both of her warlocks’ eyes.

Then she remembered something Charice had told her.

“Aren’t I supposed to initiate the bonding thing by seeking you out?” Claire asked. “How does it work if you’re already here?”

Axel brushed the back of his hand against her cheek, and she leaned into his caress.

“Actually, the bond initiator is just speaking the words,” Axel said. “It’s about you starting the process of our souls and magic opening up to find one another.”

“Oh. So I just say, ‘Powers—’”

Jett placed his finger on her lips. “Only if you’re sure.”

Claire kissed his finger and slid it to the other side of her face, so both men were touching her.

This time she vocalized what her magic and body had both been begging her to do. “I’ve never been so sure about anything else.” She looked at both of them, back and forth so they kept their eyes on her. “Powers take my soul to thee,” she said.

Suddenly, she felt her magic uncurl itself and reach out to her warlocks as theirs did the same to her. The magic flowed through all of them and made them one. Their elements breathed strength, longing, and desire with a finality of completeness.

Holy, goddess. If that was just the start of the bond, she couldn’t imagine what a completed merging felt like with her men naked around her.

Jett apparently had the same idea because he kissed her again and took her mouth for his, grinding his hardness against her moist heat once more.

When he stopped, his bright gaze stayed on her used lips, lips that wanted them both to never stop kissing her.

“Our place?” Jett asked Axel, a grin lining the curve of his mouth as he watched Claire lick her lips to taste what remained of him there.

“Or should we make her ours right here and now?” Jett’s hands roamed up her legs, showing he definitely preferred the immediate option.

Claire stiffened between them. Sex in her sisters’ workplace? Oh, no. “Um, having sex in my sister’s magic shop is not happening, fellas. It’d be too tacky and weird.”

“Then our loft it is,” Jett said.

“No need to go that far. My bedroom is just upstairs. At least it’s not right where she runs the place.”

It was Axel’s turn to start smiling. “What size bed do you have?” he asked.

  “A full one. Why?”

“For what we plan on doing to you,” Axel said with heat in his eyes, “we’re going to need a larger and stronger bed.”

“Don’t knock my bed,” Claire said on defense. “For your information, that mattress has gotten me through some lonely nights with a comfortable sleep.”

“That’s good,” Jett said, lifting her up in his more-than-capable arms, “because now that you have us, you won’t be lonely or be getting much sleep anytime soon. That is, if we have anything to say about it.”

“Loft,” they all said in unison.

“Hold on tight to me,” Jett said.

Claire didn’t have to be told twice. She’d gladly hold on for a lifetime.

  Chapter Nine

Claire watched as the world melted away. The transport from the shop took only an intake of breath. Before she knew it, she was in a large loft apartment that looked like it was in a big warehouse.

The gigantic space had so much room that the furniture seemed sparse. But a large brown leather sofa with four matching recliner chairs sat in a semicircle around a large flat screen television. In the far corner she noticed a pool table with a bar nearby.

Yep. This was a guy place. Still, it made her feel safe and homey somehow. This wasn’t just anyplace. This place belonged to her warlocks.

Before she could appreciate the view, Jett whisked her off to a side room.

“You both know I can walk, right?” Claire said, unable to contain the smile that filled her face and flooded happiness throughout her body.

“Where’s the fun in that?” Axel said walking closely behind the other warlock.

“I’m not putting you down until you’re in my bed,” Jett said. His tone was all serious with no jesting in sight. “The sooner, the better.”

“Whatever you say,” she said. She thought she heard a growl, and the rumbling against her side confirmed it came from Jett. The sound was deep, sexy as all heaven on earth, and made her body clench with need.

Just the sound of them was getting to her. What was she going to do when they were all naked together? Probably fall into a blundering puddle of idiocy. But none of that mattered. All she could focus on were the two men who consumed her mind and soul, all in the space of a day.

Jett’s room was warm and inviting. The brick walls gave an intimate feel to the low lighting from the spider lamp in the corner.

What really stood out to her was the large four-poster Paul Bunyan bed in the middle of the room. It put her poor little bed to shame. Anticipation filled her from the inside out as she remembered the promise Axel made to her. They were going to need a stronger bed.

She felt the wetness between her legs as Jett placed her down. She was anxious to have them touch her anywhere. Everywhere. She needed these men more than anything she ever longed for in her life, and for the first time, she accepted that desire for t
heir consumption.

Claire’s power rippled under her skin. She knew it wanted to come out and play, but it definitely wanted Jett and Axel’s magic to join in on the fun.

She didn’t have to wait long at all because both men crawled towards her like predators out on a hunt until they were both on either side of her. Both of them were delightfully naked.

When had that happened? They no doubt had done it in a blink of an eye with their magic. She made a mental note to make them undress slower next time, so she could appreciate the process.

For now, she was happy to watch her naked warlocks move. The possession of marking them as hers was getting easier by the second.

Their eyes shimmered with power as they watched her with awe and purpose.

Axel was the first to touch her bare skin by sliding his hand slowly up her leg. It was agonizing and fulfilling at the same time.

He started by gliding his fingers up her calf. Then he moved up to her sensitive inner thigh, and just when she thought he was going to touch her pussy and make her explode, he removed his hand.

“Hey,” Claire said, not even ashamed that she sounded like a whiner. “Why did you stop?”

“Patience, beautiful witch,” Axel said before pressing his gorgeous lips to hers. His tongue explored the cave of her mouth and created a game until Claire wanted nothing more than to follow along.

He tasted like magic and masculinity as if it were an exotic flavor all on its own. She could feel the exploration of Jett’s hand as it disappeared underneath her blouse. His large hand slid over belly with ease until it cupped her breast, and she gasped into Axel.

Axel pulled away from the kiss, slow and reluctant. “Do you know how long I’ve wanted you in bed?” Axel asked.

She shook her head as Jett’s hand moved up until his fingers rolled over her bra-covered nipple. She was caught between his attentions and Axel’s words, and it was hard to focus on just one.

“All that time you were with Matt, I wanted you,” Axel said. “I dreamed about you. Thought about what I’d do to you if we were together. Now that Jett and I have you all to ourselves, we’re taking our time with you.”
