“How come?”
“They like to stay at the capital and we stay here,” he answers. “Thought I don’t have the best relationship with them. My father is alright…but my mother is terrible. She is constantly putting pressure on both Helga and I for perfection. She had our whole lives planned out before we were even born.”
“Have you told her to back off?” she asks.
“I have tried…” he sighs. “But she always just goes back to her normal, pushy self. Honestly, I wish I was born normal…like you.”
Zuleikha flushes, looking away a moment. “You don’t mean that…”
“Yes I do,” he says firmly. “I mean…you don’t have the world watching you all the time…you have privacy.”
“Well you are the one who gone the genetic lottery,” Zuleikha says, trying to lighten to mood a bit. “You have money, power, prestige…”
“But at the cost of my privacy?” Henrik questions. “When I step outside those walls I become Prince Henrik Bernadotte…when I’d just rather be just plain old Henry.”
Zuleikha looks at him, maybe she has judged him to critically. She thought that all he ever was, was a skirt chaser, but maybe he is such a man-whore because it’s the only way he can feel something other than being the heir apparent to the throne and always in the publish eye.
“Well…” Zuleikha says slowly. “I’ll allow you to call me Zu-Zu…if you let me call you Henry?”
Henrik looks up, surprised at her response. She thought that she was going to laugh in his face, but she didn’t. Instead, her large green eyes are looking at him with compassion and understanding that he’s never seen before in another human being. All the women he’s been wit, just wanted to brag that they had spent the night in his bed; but with her…there is something completely different.
He slowly slides himself closer, so that their hips are just barely touching, and offers her a small smile. “Deal.”
Zuleikha smiles, her eyes looking from his eyes to his lips and back to his eyes. Before either of them know it, they are leaning close, their eyes locked as they move closer. Their lips are almost touching, when Zuleikha hears the door open behind them and she pulls away.
Helga steps inside, having able to separate herself from Axl and she sees them. Zuleikha flushes red and stands to her feet, trying not seem inconspicuous, but Helga is no fool. She can see the flush of Zuleikha’s cheeks and the annoyance in Henrik’s eyes, tells her that she walked in on something, though what it is, she doesn’t know.
“I’ve been looking for you,” Helga says looking at them. “I wanted to see if you wanted to watch a movie in my room.”
“Oh,” Zuleikha says. “Y…Yeah sure I’ll come.” She glances at Henrik. “It was…nice talking to you…”
“Same here,” Henrik says. “I’ll see you later?”
“Most likely,” Zuleikha says, leaving the parlor in a hurry.
Helga looks Henrik with an arched eyebrow, frowning a moment before following after her. Henrik slumps against the couch, cursing under his breath at Helga’s interruption. He wanted to kiss her, he wanted to kiss Zuleikha and he was so close to doing it…and he would have been satisfied with just a simple kiss. He doesn’t care about the bet anymore, though he has less than four months to finish it; what he cares about now is Zuleikha, and how he plans to truly, make her his.

Author’s Note
Born in the Bay Area of California, this young writer has spent much of her childhood in both the West coast as well as the Southeast state of Georgia. Diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, a developmental disorder characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.
Because she wasn’t that open to other humans, young Andromeda would turn to books, reading at an early age and was always found with a pile of books near her person. Her imagination grew because of her reading ability and she began to tell stories to her friends and families, before publishing her first book in June 2016.
She has two pen names that she uses when writing: for her Young Adult/New Adult books she is R.E. Nova. While for her adult books she is Andromeda; both names cover the different genres that she is more than capable of writing.
Starting to write in middle school she didn’t exactly begin to really go out into the world and write until her second year of college when she discovered the online community of Wattpad. A site that allows people to vote, write and comment on stories, it has well over 45 million members that grows every day. Realizing how good a tool this could be, Andromeda joined and through her first book “The Love Contract” has over 4.5-thousand followers that continues to grow every day. She is well rounded with books ranging from Teen Fiction, Vampire, Historic Fiction, Fantasy, Chick Lit/Romance, Werewolf, Paranormal, Young Adult Fiction and so much more.
When she isn’t writing she is studying as her dream is to go into the medical field and writes for fun, not a job. However, if the option ever did some for her writing to come full time she would take it but continue her studies in order to send money to the medical practices in order to help other people’s lives. Her hobbies include cooking, hanging with her family and volunteering and normally writes with headphones on her head as listening to music helps inspire her.
