Liv yelled over the crowd, which was still celebrating loudly. “Now that this has turned into an engagement party, folks, I say it’s time to crack open more bubbly!”

Angie smiled at Vic and kissed her again. “Good thing you’re marrying into a family winery.”

“Exactly, since our friends and family are a bunch of boozehounds.”

This time she would give Angie and her marriage everything she had and never take a day of it for granted. This time she knew what she had and would do everything to keep it. “I love you, babe.”

“I love you too, darling. Now let’s get some more of that champagne so we can share a proper toast as an engaged couple.”

“Ooh, I love the sound of that!”
