The Forbidden Chapters Part 1: Afterlife Saga Page 21

by Stephanie Hudson

“You see my little doll, your dark angelic knight stole something from me and now, well now that you’re finally here, I have come to collect,” he told me holding with one hand at the full length of my neck and the other at my waist, his fingers being the only thing keeping me from plummeting to my death.

“And you’re insane if you think you will ever get it from me.” Draven informed him and I really wanted to hold my hand up at this point and say, ‘Um…is that a wise choice considering he has his hand around my breakable neck?’

“No…you don’t think so? Umm well I guess we will just have to wait and see how you feel when I have your Electus kneeling at my feet, begging me for release,” he said planting the threat of both possibilities in Draven’s mind, one escape and the other… unthinkably sexual.

“Not if you die tonight by my hand,” Draven told him but for the moment the threat was hard to imagine thanks to the situation we found ourselves in. Draven was still a small distance away, up higher than the cliff face, suspended in the night and using his powers to defy gravity as even his wings were still. Lucius was at my back, holding me captive with a possessive hold, telling Draven that he wasn’t backing down either. And because of it, Draven was unable to make his move as his one big problem… at the centre of it all, was me.

“I look forward to see you again soon…My. Little. Keira. Girl.” Lucius said into the back of my head, kissing my hair and pronouncing his new nick name for me like it would stick.

“Now. Let. Her. Go.” Draven threatened and Lucius laughed once and said,

“As you wish.” Then Lucius…well, he simply let go. Just like Draven had asked of him.

I watched in slow motion as I fell forward with what must have looked like some frozen death mask as I faced my deadly destination. I was sure I was screaming inside but to the world, I faced the end in silence. I plummeted to the ground looking like a fallen Angel of death as the black satin robe flared out around me like wings, as the air was forced up, catching the floaty material.

It was like reliving a moment in time and once more I was falling by the hands of another, one that like before had stolen my free will. But like before, the arms of a dark King saved me. I shrieked in shock and Draven’s arms tightened around before he cooed,

“Easy there, I have got you…I have got you now.” I clung onto him, finally able to breath once back within the safety of his hold. He held my head to his chest and I closed my eyes, no longer needing to see where we were headed, as there was only one place Draven would take me now and that place was home…Afterlife.

In fact, I was so lost in the feel of Draven that I didn’t know we were back until I heard his voice being spoken in my ear.

“You can open your eyes now, you’re safe little one,” Draven whispered gently as if afraid I would crack. I did as he said, and opened them to watch as he carried me back into his bed chamber. Once there he placed me gently on the bed, so that I was sat up and my legs were hanging off the side. Then he stood looking down at me as if trying to control some part of himself. It was almost as if he had hit his limit and now it was all over, he could finally process what might have happened.

“Draven?” I said his name in question which seemed to snap something inside of him. He then fell to his knees in front of me and pulled me closer to him.

  “Draven it’s…”

“Ssshh, I just need to hold you…I just need to feel you,” he told me placing his forehead to my stomach and wrapping his arms around me. I decided to swallow down my concerns taking his actions for what they were…something he needed.

So, I ran my fingers slowly through his hair in what I hoped was a comforting way.

“I nearly lost you,” he told me and I shuddered at what could have happened if Draven hadn’t got to me in time. It was then that I realised the thought of losing me had brought him to his knees and I nearly choked on a sob as the powerful emotions hit me.

“I know,” I agreed in a small voice that nearly broke. He brought both his strong hands up my thighs and suddenly his hands stopped their travels to fist the satin at the top of my legs. Once there the demon in him let out a low growl.

“I can still smell him on you,” he said forcing the words out and if I didn’t know him better I would have said it sounded threatening. But the fact was I did know Draven and this side of him didn’t scare me anymore. No, because I knew that it was his heightened emotions and demon side that spoke now and his possessive side was out in full force.

He rose up slowly in a predatory manner, forcing my body back on the bed as he climbed up the length of me. He snaked a hand under my back and lifted me further up onto the bed joining our movements together. I knew that look and even after everything I had been through tonight, I still found myself getting wet just at the sight of the man. His raw energy had me near pulsating and begging him to make me his…to make me forget the only way his touch could. I wanted to erase the memory of Lucius’ hands on my body by replacing them with the only hands that mattered.

He placed his knees either side of my thighs as he knelt above me looking down at me like I was some rare treat to be ravished, only he didn’t know where to start first. Actually, scrap that, I knew where only a second after that thought as he ran a flattened hand down from my neck then in between my breasts. He stopped for a split second before grabbing a fist full of material each side and tearing a line down the centre of the nightdress as easily as if it had been made from paper.

Quickly after he had fully exposed my body for his pleasure, he took no time at all before he started to enjoy it. He shifted down my body so that he could get to tasting my skin, starting with the sensitive flesh around my nipples. I moaned aloud, arching up to him at the first feel of his tongue swiping across my erect pink bud, begging him without words to take it fully into his mouth. He didn’t disappoint.

I cried out as he licked, sucked and nipped at it before adding to the pain by rolling it around in between his teeth. It was maddening to the point I begged him to join his body with mine. Shamefully asking for his cock, all the while with my head shaking back and forth as my impending orgasm was just out of reach. I needed more. I needed to be touched, penetrated, or tasted…anything to make me tip over the edge as I chased my need to come.

“I love hearing you beg for me, almost as much as I love giving you what you want,” he told me in a deep rasp before proving his statement and thrusting himself deep into my core. One, two, three times feeling the length of him and I came screaming. After that, he took over by chasing his own orgasm. It was as if his own need was overwhelming him and the chance of losing me caused a fever of need deep within him. He covered me, consuming as much of me as he could with his body and he placed his forehead against my cheek, pressing himself harder and harder. He held me to him so tight, I had never in this single moment ever felt so treasured but more importantly…needed.

“You’re mine Keira…mine…mine…” He spoke into my cheek, saying the word ‘mine’ which each thrust. His hands caught my wrists and pinned them over my head in a possessive hold of dominance.

“Now say it...! Say you’re mine…tell me!” he demanded pressing my arms into the bed above me and adding to the sexual flames he kept ignited.

“Yes!” I moaned but this wasn’t good enough for him. He nipped at my cheek and said,

“Don’t toy with me…now say it!” He shouted down at me and the sight of his frustration and sexual drive sent me over the edge and I came screaming,

“I’m yours!” Seconds later this became the catalyst for him also and he, like me had found his euphoric bliss. He roared out with his head forced down into the bed next to mine and I felt him shuddering, both above and inside me. I couldn’t explain the sexual gratification that I felt having the feel of him coating my insides with his seed, or what it did to me. I felt comforted almost to know that not all of him had left me even as he pulled himself from between my legs.

He remained on top of me only
at least holding himself up so as not to crush me. He panted as did I, only thanks to his abilities, these obviously included being able to recover a lot quicker after sex than a human. I opened my eyes to see him looking down at me, as he brushed my hair back from my face with one large hand.

“You scared me,” he told me honestly as if needing to get his greatest fears off his chest. I cupped his cheeks with both hands and whispered,

“I know.” Then I pulled his face to mine and we shared our first kiss since he got me back. We were just getting into it when he tore his lips from mine and the rumbling in his chest told me something was wrong.

“What? What’s wrong?” I asked frowning up at him.

“It is no good, I can still smell him on you…his hands touched what belongs to me and I can’t stand it,” he told me honestly and I winced feeling terrible. Then before I could roll over and curl into a ball in hopes of hiding myself from his harsh gaze, I yelped as he gathered up my body and lifted with me in his arms.

  “What are you…?”

“I am rectifying my mistake,” he told me cryptically and I held on to his neck as he walked me into the bathroom. I could feel his essence dripping from me and wetting his skin as he had wrapped my legs around his back.

Once inside the bathroom I realised the shower was already on and ready for us. He walked us both in there and I released a sigh of bliss at the feel of hot water cleansing my skin. I thought he would let me down but when he didn’t I couldn’t help but joke,

“I think I’m safe in the shower.” However, Draven wasn’t in a joking mood and the events of the evening still clung to him like a sticky residue of regret. I knew this when his eyes bore into mine and he told me,

“I am not letting you go.” I swallowed hard and nodded, telling him silently that I understood. Then he pressed my back against the wall along with his growing arousal into my tender flesh.

“Never Keira…never.” He said referring to his last promise and then he kissed me, this time contentedly so in the knowledge the water was taking away the last remains of Lucius…washing him away.

“Never,” I whispered pulling back over his lips long enough to touch him with my words. After this Draven kissed me with a passion that verged on dangerous for a breakable human such as myself but just before he could go too far he would stop himself. Like his bruising hold on me and just as my last breath was running out, he would ease up allowing me to breathe more freely.

“I want you,” I told him, linking my fingers behind his neck and crying out as he entered me without warning.

“Yes! Yes! Yes Draven!” I shouted as he powered into me and I screamed, shuddering in his arms as I quickly came. He moved me from the wall and stepped back, so that I could feel the water cascading down my hair, so I arched my back, pressing myself against his length.

“By the Gods, you’re beautiful!” he told me as he continued to enter me, holding me up with one arm around me. His other hand ran down my wet breasts, cupping them and plucking at my nipples.

“Taste me Draven, I want to feel you drink from me…”

“Keira, I…” I turned my neck to the side interrupting him with the sight of my submission and he found his limit. He pushed me through the water and himself to the other side. Once he found something hard against my back he swooped low to my neck and sank his fangs deep, making me buck against him as I came again screaming.

Wave after wave hit me with every draw on my blood he made and I lost myself in the long moments of release. He tore his fangs from my bloody flesh and roared his own release, arching his neck until the strain looked almost too painful to take. The water cascade down his head and I had never seen anything so beautiful. He looked like some mighty God of the sea, a statue sculptured in his name and epic memory.

Slowly he lowered his head down after the last of his body’s tremors had subsided. I reached up and brushed all his hair back with both hands and I bit my lip at the look he gave me.

“My little heart’s keeper, what it is you do to me?” I blushed at his sweet words and looked away becoming shy. He chuckled as if this was impossible and I guess it was silly due to what we had just done together.

“Let’s get you cleaned up, little love of mine,” Draven said and I closed my eyes against the painful memory. Thankfully Draven didn’t see my reaction to his words of the unknown past Lucius had created. He had turned to get the soap which gave me time to try and cast that mental anguish from my mind.

But no matter how I tried I couldn’t, it was as if he had gotten inside my head or something. Because the next thing I knew Draven turned back to face me and he was no more. Sand coloured hair darkened by the water lay clung to his long pale neck. Crimson eyes took in my naked body with a hunger that, unlike Draven’s, had yet to be sated. Perfectly shaped lips smirked, cocking up on one side as he screamed silent promises in his dark mind.

The dark mind of Lucius. And Draven’s face had been replaced by a sadist with a new toy to play with…

  His little Keira Girl.

  Chapter 20 – Book 2

Now after writing these chapters, where Lucius nearly takes Keira, I quickly decided that it would have made the rest of the story difficult, given Draven’s nature. I think in truth, knowing Dom’s personality, he would have probably turned caveman, by throwing a pissed off Keira over his shoulder and taken her somewhere no one would ever find her. This or he would have been too over protective too soon, making the rest of the book difficult to write.

The other reason was that I knew I needed to write the Temple scene, where Keira finds what really lies in the belly of Afterlife and I decided this was a missed opportunity to do so.

So with this in mind, I cut the chapter and made Lucius appear to her in a nightmare he controlled. This way it could easily lead on to her hearing the desperate screams of what she thinks is an innocent girl, one used to play on her own horrific past.

But this next part of the Temple was originally written differently as well. It started the same, with Keira walking into the Temple and finding what see soon discovers is the start of a sacrifice. But then she soon gets discovered and instead of having her running, she finds herself at Draven’s mercy sooner.

Once more after writing this I realised my missed opportunity for some horror as she makes her way through the prison. I also knew that I wanted to have the chance to tell Ragnar’s story, so decided this would be another good opportunity to do so.

So here is it for you to enjoy.

  Chapter 20

  Temple Traitors.

  Book 2

I walked closer inside, where the brightly lit Temple hall hurt my eyes after becoming accustomed to the dark. I stood still, blinking franticly so as not to be taken by surprise, hoping that one of the pillars I hid behind was enough of a barrier from the droning voices that filled the room. My heart nearly stopped and my blood froze from being so scared.

The chanting wasn’t like anything I had ever heard. Not only was the language strange and very unnerving, but it seemed to be passing between Demonic lips. Its loud echoing felt as though it could crack the walls and destroy cities with only a few verses. I couldn’t choke down the fear that kept rising back up my body like a growing illness. It kept getting louder and louder, which proved to be too much for my fragile human ears.

I could feel the marble floor beneath me vibrate and this was the only reason I hadn’t yet crumbled to it like a frightened child. Nothing could compare to this moment. I had never experienced terror like it and I had never prayed so hard for it to be just another horrible dream. But, as I felt the beads of sweat roll down my trembling face, I knew that no amount of hope in the world would make it so. My body shook so violently that I thought it would break into pieces.

Only when a great roar cut through the other voices, did it all go quiet. This finally made my senses return to me, along with my resolution. I decided to move further round, as I now knew I was still comp
letely out of sight. I walked slowly to the next massive pillar which was like a masterpiece in its own right. Painted blood red at the bottom, turning into flames of orange and gold as it curled upwards to the painted sky on the ceiling and dome. My eyes followed the story around the room that depicted a great war between Heaven and Hell. There were Angel warriors on horseback attacking winged Demons from a flaming sky. I sought out the next scene and had to squint my eyes to make out the picture. There was a darker patch which at first I thought was a falling dark cloud, descending on the Demons below. But then after staring at it in greater length, I realised it was actually a wave of silver tipped arrows, flying down ready to pierce their targets with deadly intent.
