Raise Me Page 2

by K. L. Bjork

He pressed her head down to his chest where she rested there for moment, noting the pounding of his heart. Then the power of his main artery started to call to her. How had she missed the sweet smell of his life force before? It called her, no, screamed to her to take. Take!

Amy took a couple deep breaths letting the scent saturate her senses. She moved up to his neck and the sweet aroma of blood was more apparent there. A large vein in his neck rose slightly, beckoning. Her tongue flicked over it, tasting the salty surface. Her eyes turned dark as midnight and her teeth lengthened in anticipation.

The moon shone down directly onto them like a giant spotlight displaying their actions. It didn't matter. All Amy could think about now was sinking her fangs into his cool flesh. What would a demon spirit taste like? She wondered for a moment before she allowed her teeth to pierce the surface in one strike.

A red stream of life flowed into her mouth. It tasted like the sweetest honey. Her hands went to the back of his head running her fingers through his dark hair. A moan escaped from him, causing her to tremble with need. She drank. More her hunger cried out. MORE!

Her muscles tensed as his body weight fell onto her. Still she drank. His knees gave out, but her legs stiffened so she held tighter to his waist. The blood was exquisite. She couldn't get enough. The act felt so erotic as she took in his life. She felt her body moisten for him, soaking her thighs.

Amy felt Sebastian’s weakened hand come up behind her. He pulled her head away from his neck, and then she realized that she had almost taken too much. "Sebastian!" She lowered him slowly to the ground. "Please, I am so sorry. Please be okay." She brushed the hair away from his eyes where it had fallen.

His eyes slowly opened and the corner of his mouth curved upward. "I never knew it would feel like that. It was so close to making love to you. I almost released right here." The smile grew wider and his eyes took on an after lovemaking gleam. Amy cocked her head to the side and studied him.

No one had ever acted in such a way after she had bitten them. She watched his dazed features, finding it curiously arousing. Finally, he turned to his side and braced his hands on the ground before carefully rising to his feet. He looked at her with piercing eyes.

Her knees went weak. She grabbed the headstone and waited for his attack, but it never came. Instead, he took two careful steps toward her before he dominated her with his mouth. The mixture of his blood and now his saliva created an electrifying connection between them. It sent shockwaves from her toes to each tiny strand of hair. She felt it as soon as their tongues touched.

Amy let him kiss her senseless before she pulled back. Sebastian, still with half opened eyes, looked longingly at her. "My sweet, sweet, Amy. Oh how I will enjoy our time together. I’ll make love to you in a hundred different ways."

She loved him so much more than what she remembered before. Her Sebastian. Her demon. Together they could rule the region. She began to see the advantages of their joining.

A smile curved her lips. “What do I need to do?” She looked up at him through her lashes, trying to show that she was brave, but inwardly her insides shook with unease.

He pulled her hand towards him exposing her wrist. Carefully, he raked his pinky nail over the blue vein causing blood to well up through the ridges. She looked down in shock at the blood that made her undead heart beat. For a moment, she doubted him, but then looked into his eyes. Love. It was there in the depths.

Sebastian guided her wrist over the grave and turned it facing down. Drop. Drop. Drop…. Drop.

The clouds darkened and boiled across the sky. The sounds of thunder grew in the distance. A gust of cold wind raced through the headstones causing the sharp angles to moan. Amy shivered, but held her wrist in place.

“What’s happening?” She looked around at the glowing headstones. Dark gray fog snaked around the cement shrines.

Sebastian rubbed her shoulder distracting her from the moving earth below her feet. Then it bucked causing her to lose her balance. Strong arms came around her and held her steady.

“My body. It’s making its way to the surface. I can feel it.” Amy watched him raise his head to the sky and close his eyes. The clouds boiled around the cemetery waiting to greet the new arrival. They didn’t have to wait long.

He pulled her to him cradling her wounded wrist to his chest. The blood soaked through the black shirt he wore. A large crevice opened down the middle of the grave. Amy’s eyes grew wide and she snuggled close to the spirit. No longer fear, but anticipation raced through her.

A hot breath brushed across her ear. “It is here.” Sebastian whispered causing her skin to rise with little bumps.

The body broke through the ground with a thunder accompaniment. The sound rocked the cemetery causing Sebastian’s headstone to crack down the middle. The gargoyle balanced on top watching them in fascination.

Eyes wide, she looked up at the figure rising from the ground. A black cape bellowed out from around the body as it levitated above the ground. A cool breeze rushed around her causing her to realize that she was suddenly alone. His head looked around the cemetery before the dark eyes fell onto her.

“Sebastian?” She whispered. She was a vampire. A vampire. She was not afraid of the demon that stood before her dripping with unused power. This was the man that declared his love. She tried repeating this to calm her nerves, but still she stayed alert. Half expecting the demon to attack her.

One foot, then another, touched the ground. He did not speak, but looked deep into her eyes. She turned away knowing that he could bespell her better than another vampire. One strong hand closed around her arm. The heat scolded her.

She shut her eyes tight then turned her head to face him. A soft finger touched under her chin. Then, she opened one eye, then the other, only to be confronted by a man that was more handsome than the spirit. His hair was raven black and fell down around his shoulders.

Her breath caught in her throat as his look brought back memories. He bent down to her taking her lips in another mind blowing kiss. The warmth spread over her. The wind whipped around them causing her to lean in closer to him. His arms wrapped protectively around her in a possessive embrace. She accepted it. Craved it.

“Amy.” His voice was rough. “Amy, my love.” She closed her eyes and took in the smell of the earth that seemed to circle them. “Do you regret what you’ve done? You are shaking.” He kissed her lips gently.

Amy’s mind raced, but her heart was steady. “No, regrets. Sebastian.”

He pulled away just far enough to look into her eyes. “We have much planning to do. We will rule, my sweet Amy… We will rule.”

  “Yes, my love. We will.”

He lowered her to the ground covering her with his strong body. He felt so much more real now as her hands worked over the muscles of his chest. Sebastian leaned up, pulling her into a sitting position. He worked the edges of her tight leather top up and over her head, bearing her breasts to his gaze. Stopping for a moment, he just sat there and looked at her as if he was memorizing her features.

“You’re so beautiful, Amy. Mine.” Bending down he pulled one beaded nipple into his hot mouth, sucking gently.

Throwing her head back, all thoughts of the danger of the cemetery fled. Sebastian would protect her. She moaned and cupped his head to her chest, feeling the wicked play of his tongue. His hands moved over her stomach working the edges of her pants down past her knees. The cool night air was a welcome treat, cooling her heated flesh.

“I was always yours Sebastian.” She whispered as she worked his clothes over his body, revealing smooth flesh characterized by deep muscles. Lucky for her his body had stayed in impeccable shape.

Sebastian kissed over her breasts before he traveled up the length of her neck, over her jaw line and to her left ear. Slowly he lowered her back to the ground and posed the tip of his erection at her entrance. Her body tingled with anticipating of him filling her. “Please,” she begged. With one swift thrust, he bu
ried himself deep inside her.

“Oh!” Amy cried as the pain increased her pleasure.

Together they found a rhythm of pumping and thrusting as they each began to make that final climb. Sebastian reached down between their bodies and found her sensitive bud and circled it with his finger. The pressure sent her over the edge. She cried out his name as he climaxed inside her. Wrapping her arms around him tightly, she vowed to whatever God was listening that she would never lose this man again.

Afterwards, they left the cemetery and Amy took him back to the place where he found her by the waters edge. Sebastian reached out and pulled her close to his side as they looked over the railing at the water. The lights from the bridge reflected off the surface in a peaceful scene.

  “Amy?”

  “Yes, my love.”

“This is our playground that we need to rule. We must strike the masters.” He said into her ear.

“Tomorrow, Sebastian. Tomorrow. Tonight is ours alone.” Turning her head she kissed his jaw as a smile spread across his lips.
