Romance: My First Time With The Tycoon Page 7

by Ally Nelson

“It’s going well Mr. Connors. I really appreciate you giving me this opportunity.” Austin nodded his head and gave Dana a dazzling smile.

“That’s good, Dana. Please call me Austin, you do not have to be so formal.” Dana lowered her eyes in embarrassment and nodded her head. “Well, I hate to do this to you, but I have a presentation that I have to give about the importance of attorneys helping out people who aren’t as fortunate far as money goes, and I need to have someone review my presentation for grammatical issues.”

“Of course,” Dana really wanted to go home and make sure that her father was alright and besides, she’s supposed to get off at five. Joy did tell Dana about some days that she might be required to stay a little later, but she also told Dana that she’d know in advance. Not only did she not find this out until when she was on her way out of the door, but she wasn’t given the option to say that she was unable to do it. She wouldn’t have turned it down anyway because she really needed this job, but it would have been nice to be given a choice. “Is your presentation saved on your computer? I can use my flash drive and take it back to my office…” Austin shook his head.

“You can work on it in here. Don’t feel nervous or anything, but I sometimes prefer to see my people work up close and personal.” Dana didn’t know why, but she felt that Austin’s words had a deeper meaning to them. Dana was confident in her skills when it came to editing, but telling her that she was going to be watched by her boss was a bit nerve wrecking. Austin moved his wireless keyboard towards Dana and stood up to walk around the desk. He scrolled over an icon on his desktop and clicked on it until a PowerPoint presentation came up. “Here’s my presentation. The editing process shouldn’t take too long, so you’d be up and out of here in no time. Sorry for asking you this on such short notice.” Dana’s cheeks were so hot that she thought that Austin could feel the heat emanating from her.

Dana navigated through Austin’s PowerPoint and reviewed his printouts that go more into detail about what he expects to achieve by making legal assistance more affordable to underrepresented people.

“How’s it looking so far?” Austin asked as he stared at the side of her face. He honestly thought she was beautiful. It’s been a while since Amber was nice enough to give him any, and having a beautiful woman so close to him was really tempting him. The smell of her perfume and hair made him yearn deeply for her.

“This is a well thought out presentation. I think what you’re trying to do is greatly beneficial for those who needs quality legal assistance who otherwise couldn’t afford it.” Austin grunted his response as he watched as Dana trembled slightly. She was attracted to him just as much as he was attracted to her.

“I’ll be back in several minutes.” Austin said and stood from his seat. Dana exhaled slowly once he left the room. He’s trying to entice me, Dana thought once she caught her breath. There was no way that a man would sit this close to a woman staring at the side of her face like a wolf in heat if he wasn’t trying to send her a message. Dana shivered when she realized she could still smell Austin’s cologne. This was bad, if she stayed there any longer, she feared that something was going to happen. She wasn’t the type of woman to take home someone that she worked with, especially not her boss.

“Just finish this, say your last piece and get home as fast as possible.” Dana was upset that she hadn’t been working at all with the two brothers, but she hadn’t counted on this apparent sexual tension. Dana also didn’t count on how long this presentation was. Austin said it would be a quick thing, but seeing that he had eighty slides, this was definitely not going to be a ‘quick thing’. Dana had made it to slide number fifty in Austin’s presentation by the time he came back.

“I hope you like Chinese food,” Austin said with a wide grin on his face. Dana looked over her shoulder and saw Austin walking over with two bags in his hand.

“I love Chinese food, but you didn’t have to do that.” Dana said and Austin stopped in front of Dana and held his hand out to her.

“Nonsense. I pretty much forced you to stay later than what you originally planned. Come on,” Austin said while still holding out his hand. Dana reluctantly took his hand and allowed him to help her up. Austin walked over to his table and sat the food down.

“Don’t you need the presentation soon, Austin?” Dana thought that this was a bad time for her to go on break.

“It’ll be quick. I want to put some food in you, it is dinner time after all.” Austin was kind enough to fix both of their plates. The two of them ate their food, mostly in silence, but Austin decided to change that. He wanted the woman to feel comfortable with him, not timid just because he’s her boss and the owner of the company. Just because he had a lot of money, didn’t mean he was unapproachable.

It was fun speaking with Austin. Dana found herself laughing at a lot of his rags to riches stories. Austin and Matthew were truly some blessed men.

“It’s good to hear you laugh. You have a beautiful voice.” Austin commented and he watched as Dana’s cheeks turned red. “There’s no need to be modest.” Austin said and decided to be bold. Austin placed his hand on Dana’s covered thigh, and Dana jumped in surprise.

“Um… Mr. Connors…” Austin abruptly cut Dana off.

“Austin,” he whispered seductively in her ear.

“Austin… I think I should finish up here and leave,” Austin could tell that Dana was put off by his advances, but he couldn’t let her get away. Amber was neglecting Austin and he was getting fed up with her mood swings. He was hurting just as much as she was hurting. It was time that Austin got what he wanted and what he needed. Austin leaned over and kissed Dana deeply on the lips.

  Chapter Seven

Dana gasped against Austin’s lips and immediately tried to pull away from him. Austin grabbed her pushing hands and wrapped them around his neck. Dana wanted to scream stop at the top of her lungs, but the longer that they kissed, the more her body craved Austin. When Austin realized that Dana was starting to relax against him, he darted his tongue into her mouth.

“Mm” Dana moaned and entwined her fingers through his hair. She was hot for him, she needed him, and she knew with the intensity of their kissing she’d have him. Austin had wanted Dana for quite a while now so he was happy that Dana was starting to get into the mood.

“That’s right, relax.” Austin whispered against Dana’s lips and smiled when she started to stroke his hair. Austin honestly wasn’t in the mood for foreplay, he only went along this far to get Dana ready because he was already ready to pummel her. Taking his lips from Dana’s quickly, he pushed her down onto the couch and Dana gasped at the roughness of his action.

“Wait,” Dana said and was immediately silenced by Austin’s persistent lips again.

“I can’t” Austin said huskily and started taking off Dana’s clothes. Dana couldn’t lie and say that she wasn’t turned on because she was, but her cheeks were burning in heat. This was wrong on so many levels. One she was about to sleep with a man at work and that man happened to be her boss!

Austin quickly unbuttoned his immaculate suit jacket and threw it over the armrest and immediately started working on Dana’s clothes. Soon the two of them were completely naked.

“Ha…” Dana sighed as Austin ran his inquisitive fingers over her abdomen. It’s been a while since she’s been touched like this, so it was no wonder that her skin was a little sensitive. Austin’s hands went down to Dana’s thighs and he pulled them apart exposing Dana’s most sensitive area.

“Beautiful,” Austin mumbled and reached down to grip his aching length. He stroked it a little so that beads of his pre-cum smeared over it. Dana was wet enough for the both of them, but he didn’t want to risk it hurting too bad for her. Without a second thought, Austin plunged deep inside of Dana and she arched her back and allowed a sensual cry to escape her lips.

“Ah…” It’s been a while for Dana since she’d last been intimate with someone, so she wasn’t surprised that it
hurt. Austin paused for a few moments allowing Dana to catch her breath and immediately started thrusting in and out of her without a care in the world. The room was filled with sounds of their moans and skin slapping against skin and Dana couldn’t help but to feel dizzy.

“Hah…” Austin breathed out deeply as he started to lose the rhythm of his thrusts. The faces that Dana was making was making him lose all of control. He could tell that Dana wasn’t incredibly experienced, but considering he wasn’t getting any at home, she’d have to do. “You’re so tight and your face is red.” Austin chuckled as his hips pounded into Dana.

“St… stop talking,” Dana moaned and her whole body started to quake as she felt her orgasm quickly approaching. Austin was good, too good because Dana didn’t expect that she’d actually orgasm.

“Heh…” Austin chuckled and clenched his eyes shut as his breaths started coming out in shorter intervals. Dana opened one of her eyes and saw the lust in Austin’s eyes. That seductive look in Austin’s eyes was too much for Dana and she came with a loud cry. Austin smiled in a silent victory at making the younger woman orgasm before following her with his own orgasm. “Shi…” Austin moaned and allowed his hips to thrust a few more times before stopping. He lied on top of Dana’s still shaking body and looked up at her once he’d caught his breath. Austin gave a prideful smile then.

“What?” Dana asked confused and still embarrassed. Austin shook his head and got off of Dana then.

“Nothing, thank you for all of your hard work. I can finish from here, you’re free to leave” Austin looked over at the clock on top of his wall and saw that it was nearing seven. Dana furrowed her eyebrows and immediately covered her exposed areas with her hands.

“Oh okay,” Dana said avoiding Austin’s eyes. She looked on the ground frantically for her clothes before Austin brought them near her face. “Thank you,” Dana muttered and stood frozen in place. Austin paused wondering why she wasn’t putting on her clothes, but then a light switched on in his head and he smiled.

“I have to freshen up. You’re welcome to take the rest of the food home with you. Have a goodnight, Dana.” Austin grabbed his own clothes and quickly made his way towards his private bathroom located in his office. Once Austin had closed the bathroom door, Dana quickly put on her clothes.

“Oh my god,” Dana said to herself as she went into a small panic. She couldn’t believe that they had just did that and she could not believe that Austin treated it like a successful completion of a business deal. It took Dana no time at all to put her clothes on and as soon as she was finished, she grabbed her purse and made a b-line to the door. She needed to be alone then in her bedroom so that she could think about what happened.

“What’s wrong?” Ryan asked Dana as she brought his dinner into his room. Dana jumped and looked at her father then.

“Nothing, what makes you think something’s wrong with me?” There were a lot of things wrong with Dana at that moment, unfortunately it wasn’t information to get your parents involved in.

“You look…. off. Did you have a bad day today?” These were one of the times that Dana hated that her father was so perceptive.

“No dad, I’m just tired,” It wasn’t quite a lie, Dana was tired after all from that evening’s ‘festivities’. Ryan’s frowned deepened. He knew that Dana was hiding something from him, he just couldn’t place his finger on what that might have been. “You shouldn’t worry about me, dad. I’m fine. How are you though?” Ryan frowned at that and picked at his tilapia fish dinner.

“I’m feeling a little better, but I wish that I’d just beat this thing already.” Waiting for Dr. Weiss’s results was like waiting for snow to melt, it was exhausting. Ryan was feeling slightly better, but he knew that medicine would help him feel better quicker. Besides, he didn’t know if this was an illness that disguised itself. An illness that makes you feel a little better one day and then the next day you’d be feeling like you had one foot in the grave.

“Hopefully Dr. Weiss will have an update tomorrow,” Dana said and moved some hair out of her face. Dr. Weiss said that she’d call them as soon as she found out what was wrong with Dana’s father, but it felt like she was taking an eternity.

“Are you sure you’re alright?” Ryan asked again and Dana forced a smile to her face.

“Of course, dad. I’m just a little tired and you know that I’m worried about you too.” Ryan still thought that Dana wasn’t telling him the full truth, but he was too hungry and too tired to push the conversation any longer.

“Alright, make sure you get enough rest. Stop playing on that phone and get some sleep at night!” Ryan barely was able to sound forceful in his weakened state, but Dana nodded her head.

“Yeah, yeah I’ll come back later to get your plate. Goodnight,” Dana said and made her way towards the door. Dana was sure that he’d fall asleep as soon as he was done eating, but she was glad that he had gotten in appetite back. Dana made her way back to her room and her mind immediately drifted back to Austin. She was still in shock that they had sex in his office. “He’s probably going to think I’m some slut,” Dana said and placed her head in her hands. She felt ashamed, used, and lewd.

“How am I going to go to work tomorrow?” Dana asked. She had never done something so risqué before and she wasn’t sure how to handle it. She was incredibly attracted to Austin, but she hadn’t known him long and barely knew anything about him. She didn’t want to do that, she didn’t want to sleep with her boss, but he drew her in with his sweet kisses and caresses. Dana let out an irritated growl. “I should have just got up and left, this is my fault.” This was something that Dana needed to live with now and hopefully others wouldn’t find out. She was pretty sure that Austin wouldn’t fire her for this because it was his fault as well.

Dana really wanted this job, but how would she be able to still work there after what had just happened?

“I really need to get my act together.” Dana was considering looking for another job, but none of the other places she’d applied for had gotten back to her. She’ll just need to see how things play out.

“I need to do this for my dad,” Dana said, but that didn’t help the pain that lingered in her heart.

  Chapter Eight

For the next few weeks, Dana had barely made any contact with Austin and it was starting to feel a lot like how it felt when she first started working for the Connors. Apparently Austin was in and out of the office frequently over the past few weeks because he’s working with a client on a major case. Dana wasn’t mad at this though; she was actually quite happy that they had avoided the post sex conversation.

“Hello Dana,” Dana looked up from her computer screen and smiled when she saw Joy. After getting to know Joy for the last few weeks, Dana knew that Joy could be a possible good friend to her.

“Hi Joy, how are you today?” Dana asked and gave the woman her undivided attention.

“Great, how’s your father doing?” Joy asked and stepped into Dana’s office. A few weeks ago, Dr. Weiss called and told them that Ryan had a severe case of pneumonia. Dana knew that pneumonia was nothing to mess around with, but she was happy that’s the illness that he had. She knew that medication would fix her father up in no time. Ryan wasn’t exactly one hundred percent back to his old self, but he was a lot better now. Unfortunately, it’ll be another few weeks before he could return to work, and the FMLA checks he was getting were barely enough money to buy groceries with.

“He’s good, he’s not confined to his bed anymore.”

“That’s great,” Joy said with a sincere smile on her face. “Anyways, Matthew is looking for you. He has a few legal documents that he needs you to look over.” Dana nodded her head and got up.

“Thanks Joy, I’ll go see Mr. Connors now.” Dana worked with Matthew directly a few times and she liked him. He was always very kind to her and he was professional. More professional than Austin, Dana thought as scenes of their sex session played in h
er mind. She quickly shook them out of her head when she neared Matthew’s office.

“Hello, Mr. Connors,” Dana said smiling as she waited for him to invite her in. Matthew looked up from his desk and smiled at Dana.

“Come in, Dana and please call me Matt.” Dana nodded her head and walked in. She didn’t feel awkward when she was near Matthew even though he was gorgeous. It was probably because his easygoing personality made her comfortable around the powerful man.

“Of course, Matt. How can I help you?” Dana asked and Matthew stood up and walked around his desk. Like the true gentleman that he was, he pulled out her chair and she blushed. Her mind couldn’t comprehend why she was more attracted to Austin than Matthew. It was inappropriate either way but still. “Thank you,” Dana murmured and Matthew walked back to his seat.

“You’re welcome,” Matthew said with that same easygoing smile. “How’s the work so far? Are you working well with Joy? Is she helping you?” Matthew asked. He wanted Dana to be as comfortable as possible because if she performed as well as she’s been performing, they were going to keep her for the long run.

“I love it here so far and Joy is absolutely wonderful. She helps me with so much and more.” Matthew nodded his head quite pleased with Dana’s answer.

“That’s great,” Matthew said and picked up a stack of paperwork. “These are some letters from prisoners asking for Connors and Associates help. I’ve written a response to all of these, but I need you to type them up, and give them back to me so that I can sign them. Can you do this for me?” Dana took the paperwork from Matthew and stood up.

“Of course, I’ll have this completed for you as soon as possible.” Dana smiled one last time and turned around to get ready to leave. Matthew stood up then, not quite ready to let her go.
