"Good morning beautiful," he whispered then continued to kiss my shoulder and arm.
"Morning,' I replied, trying to sound casual. I turned my whole body round so I was facing him and was met with his wide smile that showed all teeth and really cute dimples that I just wanted to lick.
"How did you sleep?" His arm was still wrapped round me, fingers stroking gently over my skin. His hand gripped my waist tighter and the sensation had me ready to go again.
"Not great to be honest." I pouted. "But I don't really mind."
"Oh why is that?"
"Well a very sexy man kept me up most of the night with his bedroom antics."
He smirked. "Is that so?"
"Mmhmm, and he gave me orgasm after orgasm, definitely the most I've ever had in one night." He laughed, "I'm glad he took care of you so well."
"He did. But, I don't really think it’s fair that I had more than him, do you?" He leaned back against the pillow, resting his arm up under his head, and looked over at me.
"Well I see your point; maybe you should do something about it?"
"I'm always up to a challenge like that." I moved on top of him, running my hands over his hard chest and my kisses were following my touch making their way slowly down his body.
His breathing was getting quicker and I felt his heart frantically pounding against his ribcage. My lips smiled against his skin. Knowing I had that power over him was melting my heart. He made all the right sounds as I took his length in my hand. His cock was standing up proud, straining to reach my mouth and I ran my tongue up and down it first then placed open mouth kisses all over it, which had him groaning and moaning and his hands gripping my shoulders. I looked into his eyes as I took him all the way to the back of my throat and hummed lightly as I pulled back out. "Shit, Cassie."
I smirked, "That good, huh?"
"Yeh baby, it feels amazing." So I did it again and again until he was bucking his hips driving it into my mouth. He started to pull away but I grabbed hold of his hips to keep him close and when he realised I was happy to take it all his hands fisted in my hair holding me against him. His legs shook and he spurted deep in to the back of mouth. I swallowed and licked my lips, "Mmm yum."
He chuckled, "Come here." He reached down for me and brought me up against side and snuggled me in close, my hair fanning out over his chest. He kissed my forehead and pulled the covers back over us.
I woke up again to find Blake's side of the bed empty and frowned, but the smell of bacon wafted through the half-open door and I grinned so wide my cheeks hurt. Wrapping the sheet around me, I swung my legs off the bed and made my way through the hallway. There was a door shut at the end of the hall and curiosity got the better of me. I cracked it open a little, and saw a dressing table with make-up and perfume bottles. I shook my head and my heart failed to hit a few beats. Whose room was it? He would have mentioned something if he had a roommate surely. I pushed it open further and crossed the room. The wardrobe was bursting with women's clothes and the cabinet under the sink was full of toiletries. I glanced over the pin board which was hanging next to the window. Ticket stubs, post-its and pictures covered the cork. There was a big photo in the middle which my eyes were drawn to. It was Blake. And he was kissing the cheek of a girl. She looked like she was a few years younger than me. She was cute, big brown eyes and long dark hair. My heart was hammering trying to force my brain to come to conclusions that it was refusing to jump to. I twirled round and nearly screamed as I saw Blake standing watching me. He was shirtless and had his arm stretched up holding on to the top of the doorframe.
He raised an eyebrow at me. "What are you up to in here?"
He had me so flustered that I just pushed past him mumbling a sorry. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I was just surprised to see you in here."
"Whose room is this?" I questioned.
He paced up and down the width of the room and ran his fingers through his hair. Letting out a breath he sat down on the bed and picked at some fluff on the bedcover.
"Blake?"
He looked up at me. "Hmm?"
I sat down on the bed next to him. "You can talk to me you know?" His eyes softened and when I took his hand he gripped it so tight I thought he was going to break a few fingers. All I wanted in that moment was to help him deal with his pain. I wanted to burden myself with it so he wouldn’t have to feel it anymore.
"When I told you last night I didn't have any siblings I lied. I had a sister. She died." He looked up at the ceiling and inhaled deeply. "And I don't talk about her. Ever. I can't even come in here so I have just left everything as it was since she was here last." He got up. "Look, there are just some things I can't talk to you about. Please, can we just leave it?" His face had hardened, and his teeth were grinding against each other.
"Talk to me, don't shut me out. What happened to being open and honest with each other?"
He shook his head, and his eyes never left mine as he blinked a few times to hold back tears that were threatening to fall. "Please Cassie, don't make me do this 'cause there will be no going back if I do."
I swallowed hard. Did I need him to tell me? If it upset him, why would I make him do it now? Maybe he just needed time. I nodded. If he didn't want to talk to me about it yet, then I would wait. Maybe someday he would let me help him face his demons. I knew how it felt to lose people you love and I didn't want to damage what we were building so early on.
I threw my hands up in surrender, "Okay Blake, have it your way for now. I won't mention this again but if we are going to have a relationship then you need to start sharing some of your shit with me. Because I know what you are going through and I want to help you." I brushed my hand against his arm and picked up the bottom of the sheet in my hands so I could walk out. He visibly relaxed, and followed me out, closing the door fully again behind him.
"Cassie, you have to believe that I wish it was something I could tell you, but I just can't." He pulled me to him and stroked his fingers through my hair.
"Okay mister, you have got me for the whole day so let's just enjoy it. Shall we go and have breakfast. You hungry?"
He pulled back to look in my eyes and when he noticed the glimmer he smiled. "The bacon will have to wait." He grabbed my hand and pulled me back towards his room, "I'm starving but I don't want bacon. I want to eat you."
I giggled. "Wow, what a charmer. You know it's not the line that's going to work. It's the fact that you have got your abs out and when I see them I can't help thinking about running my hands all over them."
"Well they're right here, knock yourself out. But if you can touch, then so can I." He slowly peeled me out of the sheet and let it drop to the floor. I had to force my hands to stay at my sides and not cover myself back up. My heart was racing and I bit my lip as I let his heated gaze drift all over my body. A soft growl left his mouth and he scooped me up in his arms, backing us into his room. He kicked the door shut and we didn't leave until the day faded, sucking all the light from the room.
"As much as I love seeing you lying naked and spread out in front of me, you need to get your sexy butt out of bed. I said we would meet James at the bar if that's ok with you?"
I groaned and hid my face in the pillow. "Do we have to?"
"Hey, what's the matter?" He looked at me with genuine concern and guilt stabbed at me. I just felt embarrassed after James had kissed me at dinner but I didn't want Blake to know. It was just a moment of stupidity. "Nothing, I'm just tired. You've worn me out." I yawned, and he swatted my butt with his t-shirt. "Up."
"Yes, sir." I said playfully and saluted.
"I like hearing that. You can say that again later when I'm asking you to suck me off."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, you wish."
The bar was packed and I had sent a text to Laurel to meet us here. I knew I would need a little bit more female to balance out the testosterone that was bound to be flying around tonight. James was standing
by the bar when Blake and I walked in, hand in hand. There were a few women that scowled at me as we passed them and I couldn't help but smirk. Take that bitches. He's with me now.
A wolf whistle reached my ears over the music and I looked up to see James staring at me. "Well if it isn't the gorgeous Cassie. You look hot babe, if you get tired of this guy you know where to come." He grinned and Blake shot him an icy glare and punched his arm. "Dude, if you weren't like a brother I would pound your face in now."
James laughed, "Sorry couldn't help myself. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this one after our date the other night." He emphasised the word date and looked at Blake who was about to erupt any second.
"Now now boys, plenty of me to go around." I patted both their arms and James let out a breath, "Now that's what I'm talking about." He motioned to the bartender, "Two beers. And tequila shots for the lady. Keep 'em coming."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to get me drunk!" He looked down at me and winked. Blake slammed his fist down on the bar and I turned and giggled. "Relax and get back in your cave now please. You know I want you." I reached up and crushed my lips against his briefly. "Anyway, I thought you wanted him to flirt with me?" I raised an eyebrow and he shook his head, "Okay. I deserved that, but how about we turn it down now yes?"
I smiled sweetly. "Yes, sir." His eyes widened and I knew he was now picturing me on my knees. He coughed and spluttered and as I bit my lip a wide grin crept slowly onto his face.
My phone buzzed against my side and I searched for it in my bag. It was Laurel. Be there in 5. I replied briefly. Okay by the bar.
Blake excused himself to go to the men’s room and James ordered us another round of drinks. "I'm guessing you haven't told him about our little indiscretion."
I sighed, "I don't really see it as something that needs to come out. We both regret it. It hardly lasted long enough to be called a kiss and it meant absolutely nothing. I'm with Blake and you're with half the girls in town."
He didn't laugh, but looked down at his drink. "Best damn kiss I've ever had sober." I rolled my eyes. "It was probably the only kiss you've ever had sober. Don't go making it into something that it isn't."
"Yeah you're right. If we hadn't have done it I probably wouldn't have felt the need to go out and bang this really cute blonde though. I swear she was sweeter than candy and hotter than the Caribbean."
I lifted my hands to stop him from speaking anymore. "Is there some reason that you are talking to me like I'm one of your buddies? I swear if you talk about banging chicks to me again I am going to kick your arse. Then you'll be sorry that you ever degraded women in front of me."
He nudged my shoulder. "Hey, I don't degrade women. I love women. I give them the best sex of their life and they leave me feeling fully satisfied. I can show you if you want?"
I hit is arm playfully. "Stop with the flirting. Blake will go crazy."
He lifted his arm and made a locking motion across his lips then threw away his imaginary key.
"What are you two talking about?" Blake came up behind me and put his hands protectively on my shoulders. I leaned back against his chest.
"Cassie here has just been begging me to tell her the sordid details of my liaison the night after our date. I think she's jealous." He winked again.
I shook my head. "And you’re delusional." He grinned and then widened his eyes as something stole his attention over my shoulder. "What?" I asked, trying to follow his gaze.
"That, would be the woman of my dreams. And if I hadn't already made her a reality the other night I would be taking her home with me now." As he pointed her out, my stomach tied up in knots and I squealed. "She is who you slept with that night? The cute blonde?"
"Yep," he said proudly. I was so angry I got right up in his face and backed him into the barstool. "Well douchebag that cute blonde is my best friend Laurel so you had better sit the fuck down before I kick your arse from here to the Caribbean!"
Blake squeezed my shoulders but I shook him off to find Laurel and warn her about the company we were in tonight.
I reached her and dragged her by the arm to the corridor near the toilets. "Chick, where's the fire? What's going on?" She asked.
"I have some bad news to tell you."
"Oh gosh, what is it? Is Julia okay?" I waved it off. "Oh yeah, it's nothing like that. It's just awkward."
"Well come on then. Spit it out."
I paused, wondering if she was going to be cool with it or freak out. She was very unpredictable.
I started slowly. "Well, you know you had sex with someone the other night?"
"Yes, but how did you know about that?" She frowned.
"Because he's here. He just happens to be Blake's best friend, James."
She smiled. "Oh, so that's his name. I couldn't remember. To be honest with you, I couldn't even remember anything that night after my first couple of drinks. I was shit-faced."
I laughed so hard I thought I was going to wet myself. "You mean you don't remember having sex with him?"
She laughed too. "No, not at all. Well I know I did it but I couldn't tell you whether it was good or bad or even what he looked like. I got a taxi home straight after."
"Oh my God, that is the best thing I have heard in ages. He is going to be pissed. I swear he has a bigger ego than Blake's and that is now going to shatter it into a million pieces."
We got back to the boys and they both eyed me warily, expecting me to be angry but I just grinned instead and spoke to James. "This is my best friend Laurel. From what I hear, you two need some proper introductions. Laurel, this is James. James, this is Laurel."
He smirked and kissed her cheek. "I told you Cassie, we have already met." I paused for a moment for dramatic effect then hit him with it.
"Well if you're going to give a girl the best sex of her life, then I think you should make sure she is sober enough to remember it in the morning, don't you?"
He glanced between us back and forth, confusion on his face then he realised what we were talking about. His cheeks flushed and he mumbled to himself turning quickly to down his drink, causing us all to howl with laughter.
Once James got over his initial embarrassment he kept us entertained with his jokes and we were all chatting like we had been friends for years. I excused myself to go to the ladies, “Oh do you want me to come with you?" Laurel asked, but she looked like she was having fun with James so I told her she should stay.
As I turned into the corridor, I walked straight into someone, "Oh I'm so sorry,"
"Watch where you're going, bitch," came the reply. The voice was smooth and sultry but didn’t match the words that were flowing out. Stunned, I looked up and saw Amber scowling at me with her arms crossed over her chest. The action was pushing her boobs up so that they were spilling out over her low cut vest top.
"Wow, keep your extensions in, it was an accident."
If looks could kill, I would have been stabbed, shot and beaten to death by now.
"You aren't going to last long. Blake doesn't do relationships and when he's bored with you he'll come crawling back to me."
"What have you got against me? Is it really just jealousy that has got you so worked up?" I asked sceptically.
She looked me up and down unashamedly and smiled when she made up her mind. "I don't have anything to be jealous of. If he really wanted you he wouldn't have been in my bed two days ago." That was the night I was set up with James. Was he really that pissed at me that he slept with her? I'm not interested in any of them. Only you. Blake's words came back to me and I knew she was making it up. "You're lying." I spat out.
Her eyes narrowed, "Am I? How can you be so sure?" She laughed. "He’s not a one woman man but honey, I look better on him than that tight white shirt and chinos he's wearing. He will come back to me. They always do." She smiled and flicked her hair at me. I was in shock that she would be so mean when I hadn’t done anything to her. It made me so angry I knew if we carr
ied on going back and forth that I would end up in a fight. I didn’t know where the feelings were coming from but they felt primal, like I had to protect what was mine. Was Blake mine? Well he was for now at least.
"I'd really like to punch you right now but that's animal abuse so why don't you crawl back into the hole you came out of and leave me the fuck alone." I pushed past her and went back to the table Laurel and the guys were sitting at. "I cannot stand much more of your ex fuck-buddy! I swear if she comes at me again I'm going to beat her." I slumped back into the chair and turned my head to the side to look at Blake. James and Laurel continued their conversation to give us some privacy.
"Amber? Why what did she say?"
"She told me that you will get tired of me soon and go back to her."
He snorted, “Well that's not going to happen."
"Then she said that you had sex with her a couple of days ago." I looked into his eyes to see if I could tell if he was going to lie but he never wavered. "She will say anything. I can't believe it. I never slept with her then, I promise you that." He put his hand over mine and pulled me up and over to him so I was sat on his lap. He ran his hands over my back and gently stroked his fingers against my neck. His touch was calming. It made me feel safe, like we were in our own little bubble.
"Don't worry, I know you want me." I smiled. His eyes met mine and narrowed, flashing with something; a desire that made me feel naked right there in the middle of a crowded bar.
"I do want you. Let me take you home and I'll show you just how much."
Blake
Why did girls have to be so catty? Amber knew that even if I wasn't with Cassie I wouldn't go back to her. We were finished. It just wasn't right. We both got we needed at the time and now I wanted something different. Something more. But only with Cassie. I looked over at her in the taxi and was overwhelmed with the need to pull her to me and never let go. As soon as I shut the door to my house my lips were on her, nipping and licking and sucking and my tongue was pushing against her top lip, searching for a way in.
