This time he laughs. Except it’s not a crack-me-up-joke type laugh. He’s mocking me. It’s more of a dangerous laugh.
“Oh, you will be speaking to me. Don’t think you won’t be, Barbie. Now undress.”
I do as he commands because my body wants to do as he instructs. The way he speaks makes me want to do anything he wants me to do. Who am I, and what have I done with the real Saskia?
It seems his Barbie has come out to play, and somehow she does what he says when he says it.
My dress falls to the floor, my hand skirts along my bare belly, running my fingers along until I reach the edge of my panties. Pulling, I slide them down my legs and step out. Then I make my way up to my bra. His eyes darken, more so than I’ve ever seen. Watching me intently. Watching my every move, he’s making sure his eyes find mine every time before they skirt back to where my hands are.
Dropping my bra, my breasts are free, and I’m completely naked. Yet, I don’t feel an ounce of shyness around him. He makes me feel empowered. He makes me feel wanted.
And I’ve never felt wanted in all my life.
It’s the most amazingly powerful thing that someone can feel.
And Ryken Lord just made me his living breathing Barbie without even knowing it.
Chapter 13
Ryken
Her hands are on her body, her skin soft and inviting. Her lips plush and pink, ready to be kissed. My hands move for the buttons on my shirt, unbuttoning each one until I slide it from my arms. Her head falls to the side as she looks to my trousers then I unbuckle them and drop them too, both of us completely naked staring at each other.
“Enemies to lovers.” Her words echo through the room.
I shake my head. “Lovers... soon to be enemies,” I say, because it’s going to happen. It’s going to come about when I end up with her cousin.
Which will be my next move.
It’s the right one.
Tonight, though, I don’t have to think about any of that. Tonight, I get to be with her and not worry about the outside world. Tonight my Barbie is all mine to do with as I please.
“Get on the bed, Barbie.”
She does as I say. Walks up to me in a cat-like manner, then as she passes me, her bare breast touches my skin as she crawls onto the bed. She doesn’t know it, but every ounce of her screams sex. She has sex leaking from every pore of her body.
“Barbie, I want you to get on your hands and knees, spread your legs and bend your back.”
She does as I say without thought, her legs are spread, and her back is bent, as she gets on her hands and knees. Walking up behind her, I touch her with my hand, and she stills with my touch. “I knew the moment I saw you, I’d love this ass.” My hand rubs a circle on her ass then I lightly tap it. She makes a sound with her mouth then shuts up straight away. “You’re obedient, I like it.” My hand slides between her legs, touching her right there.
“Ryken...” she says my name but doesn’t ask a question.
“You like it.”
She nods her head eagerly. “Are you scared, Barbie?” I insert a finger, and her back arches further. One finger touches her clit, rubbing, as the other thrusts in and out of her tight cunt.
“Be gentle, Ryken.”
“It’s going to hurt, Barbie, but I’ll be as gentle as possible.”
She nods her head then straightens her back. Pulling my finger out, I drop my head, my mouth is near her pussy. Pushing my tongue out I lick her once, and she moans, so I do it again, making her drop her pussy further back into my face. Now all I can breathe and see is her.
Gripping her hips with my hands, I flip her over, so she lands on her back. She giggles until I’m on top of her, my head going back between her legs. Saskia’s moans grow louder, her hips move with more force as she thrusts to meet my tongue.
Who knew that behind her quiet exterior there was a girl waiting to be let out of her confinement.
“Ryken...” she says my name as I insert a finger. She squeezes it and comes, tightening around my finger, but I don’t stop until she goes completely still. Sitting up, I slide on a condom, looking down at her.
“Be gentle,” she reiterates.
Nodding my head, I lean down, kissing her stomach. She moves her hands and threads them through my hair then pulls me up. My body slides along hers, and as my face reaches her, she starts to kiss me. Then I kiss her back, taking control, my hand sliding through her long blonde hair, her small little body lifts as my hand slides around her waist picking her up, so our bodies are flush together.
“Gentle,” I whisper, dropping her waist and reaching between us to spread her legs as I make my way between them. “Relax, Barbie.”
She does as I say, and closes her eyes as my cock touches her. Leaning forward, I kiss her chin, tiny kisses along it until I reach her ear, then I bite on it making her open her eyes. She smiles then turns her head to kiss me, and as she does, I slide further in, making her yelp as I feel her warmth wrapped around me.
“Move, Ryken.”
I do as she says, our lips inches apart. She breathes in my air and I breathe in hers. Moving ever so slightly, I watch her as she bites her lip while her hands grip the bed sheets.
“If you don’t move I’m going to punch you.”
I do as she says, moving more and more. Getting almost lost in her.
Saskia’s hands end up moving to my back. She grips onto me, her head lifting and ducking into the corner of my neck as she bites down on it.
I take what I bought.
With each thrust and don’t hold back.
Even when I know I should.
But she gave me permission to move.
She told me, so it’s almost impossible to stop once I start. Reaching between us, I touch her clit, she bucks on me so I keep on doing it. I want her to have as much pleasure as possible. I want her to know not all of this is going to be bad, not all of it is awful.
I come. Pulling out of her and lying down beside her, we both don’t speak for a good few minutes. When I turn to look at her she’s already watching me.
“Does it get better? Does it end up feeling like it did when you did that thing with your mouth?”
I laugh at her candid words. “It does. Oh, fuck does it.”
She giggles. “How was it for you? Did it hurt?”
Shaking my head, I sit up and lean over her, touching her lips with my finger tracing the perfection of them. “Nothing will compare to you.”
She moves her head, so I can’t see her face.
I didn’t mean to say it. Or did I? Maybe I was on a fuck high. Maybe she was my high.
She stands, looking down between her legs and pulls on her dress. Dressing faster than I usually do to flee.
“Barbie.”
“You’ll be with her on Monday at school. Won’t you?”
I nod my head. No point in lying to Saskia about it. Livia and I... well, I don’t even know how to describe it. But it’s a safer option than Barbie and me. That much I do know.
“And you’ll be with Stiles,” I say, sitting up on the bed.
She looks down at it, and so do I. There’s a bit of red, but that doesn’t matter. None of it does. Just this moment. Her running away from me. Or should I force her to stay to get extra time with her? I easily could make her stay. I bought her after all.
But I won’t.
“Yeah, Stiles.” She picks up her bag, touches the door then looks back to me.
“You can have your money back.”
Shaking my head. “No. It’s yours. Keep it.”
She shrugs her shoulders. “I would, thank you, but I won’t.”
Then she walks away, leaving me naked on the bed with her taste on my lips and her pussy on my cock.
“WHERE IS THE FUCKING money, son?” my father yells at me as I sit at the dining room table with my food in front of me. He stands when I don’t answer, pushing his seat backward. It scrapes so hard then falls to the floor.
“What
money?” Picking at my vegetables on my plate, I push them around looking up at him.
“You took almost half a million out of the fucking bank. Where the fuck is it?”
Shrugging my shoulders, I place a piece of broccoli in my mouth. “You want me to search for it?” Swallowing, I know he will look, and without a doubt, he’ll find where it went. He’ll have those dollars traced before I can even move a muscle.
“I spent it.”
“You spent it?” He mocks me. “On. Fucking. What?”
“None of your business.”
He laughs, and it’s a full-on insult laugh. “It is my fucking business.”
“I’m almost eighteen, it’s not.”
“It. Fucking. Is,” he seethes at me.
Slamming my hands down on the table, I stand to turn and face him. I’m now the same height as my father. Perhaps even a tad taller.
“That money was mine! I got it from Mom. Not you. You have no fucking say how I spend it.”
He rubs his jaw as I try to control my temper. Quinn walks in, hearing me yelling, and looks at both of us.
“Boss...” is all he says, and my father waves his hand at him to go away. He does so without argument. My father steps up close to me, our faces almost touching.
“You ever fucking do anything so reckless again with that much money, you won’t get any fucking businesses. Do you hear me, boy?”
“You can shove them up your fucking ass.”
I see it before it comes.
I knew it was coming.
I basically asked for it.
His fist connects with my jaw, sending me back a step. I laugh at him, shaking it off and brushing my fingers over my jaw. Then I turn to him, instantly going silent and hitting him straight back. Exactly where he hit me. He goes back a step, too. Shakes his head and stands tall facing me.
“It was that little blonde, wasn’t it?”
Again. I hit him again. My hand now aching, along with my jaw. He doesn’t hit me back this time, but he watches for my reaction.
“So it is.” He shakes his head, picking up his seat, then sitting down on it at the table.
“You know nothing,” I seethe at him.
“I do. Did you know I was in the same place as you once? I loved another but knew your mother was the better choice. She wouldn’t run to the police, she wouldn’t turn me in when they came knocking. She was loyal until the affection ran dry and all she had left was you.”
“You want me to do the same thing,” I say to him, stepping up to the table, my hands touching it.
He nods his head. “I do, and you should. Play with the blonde, fine. But don’t marry the blonde. You marry that brunette. She’s your safer option. You have no choice in the matter, son.”
“Who are you to tell me my safest choice? You have no voice in the matter.”
He smirks at me. “Because I’ve been doing this longer than you. I realize you want to think with your heart. Don’t. Think with your head. The brunette is safer. More logical. Right. She comes from a good family. She will be a lawyer. You won’t be suspected when you take it all from me. Instead, you’ll be respected.” He says it as if it’s something I should want. As if it means everything in the world to me. I don’t want that part of his business, I don’t want any part of it.
Barbie is what I want.
Barbie is what I’ll get.
“I could settle this argument easily if I wanted to, Ryken, you know that.”
I nod my head.
Barbie is not what I’ll get.
Because if I do, she’ll be collected.
And I can’t let that happen.
“I can see it in your eyes, you planned to fight me on this. That wouldn’t be your wisest choice and definitely not in her best interests.”
“You don’t want me happy?”
He shakes his head at me, smirking. “I want you fucking successful. It’s better than being happy. You can buy happiness. You can’t buy success, Ryken. You’re getting what others can only dream of doing in a lifetime of working. Take it, and think yourself lucky...” He looks up and then straight at me with hard, cold eyes. “... and stay away from the blonde. No arguments.” He walks out of the room, leaving me there by myself. Quinn walks in not long after, looks at me then shakes his head as he walks over to the kitchen. He knows how Dad is, but he would also never go behind my father’s back if he asked him the truth about Barbie and I.
One day Quinn’s loyalty will lie with me.
I wonder if I could get him to kill my father? Would he do it if I so ordered it?
Chapter 14
Saskia
“You look different. What’s different?” Livia asks as Robert looks at me next to her with his eyes wide.
“Nothing,” I say, reaching into my bag.
“You’re lying.”
Shaking my head again, I smile at her.
She scrunches her forehead as she studies me. “Fine, I’ll let it go. For now.” She turns, flicking her hair as she walks off. Robert slams the locker next to me, watching me.
“I’m still waiting for answers myself.”
“For what?”
His lip curls up. “I’m not Livia. Me, you cannot play with. Would you like me to tell her you sold your virginity?”
Shaking my head fast, I look past him to make sure no one heard what he said.
“I have a free period. Do you?”
He nods his head then links his arm through mine. “Tell me all your first little secrets, you hussy.”
Laughing at him, we walk out the back of the school to the courtyard, and as we do, we pass him. Ryken. He’s speaking to her. Livia. And Cane is on the other side of him. He looks up at me, eye contact is made, but I’m the first to break it. Because when I look at him, I think of his head between my legs and the way he made my back curl when his tongue touched me there.
“You didn’t. Not with...” Robert says as we walk onto the grass and sit.
“I did.”
His eyes look like they may fall out of his head. “With Ryken?” he whispers.
“Yes. He was the winning bidder.”
“Holy fuck,” he shouts, then covers his mouth fast. “No. No way.”
“Way,” I say, answering him while reaching for my books.
“Well, did it... you know... hurt?” He shuffles with his hands to get a little closer. “I mean, they say it hurts for the girl.”
I laugh at his words. “Most of it was, well... good. Apart from that part.”
“You did more than sex?”
This time it’s my turn to look at him confused. “Yeah.”
“Wow! I didn’t think you would, I mean... he paid for just straight up sex. Yet, he made sure you were okay?”
Shrugging my shoulders, I don’t answer. He gets it, then we fall in a silence as I start studying for my next exam.
“He broke you, didn’t he?”
I would have missed his words if I didn’t look up as he said them so quietly. “What do you mean?”
“He broke you, just a small fracture to your heart. Chipped at it and took a small piece away. You’ll realize it soon. Maybe not now. But you will.” Sometimes his view on hearts and love makes me dizzy.
“I’m fine,” I say, answering him.
Robert turns his head, watching something, and I follow his view to see Livia, jumping on Ryken, her legs wrapping around his waist then her lips locked with his. He doesn’t push her away, and he doesn’t stop the kiss.
Maybe Robert was right.
Because watching that hurt more then I care to admit.
One chip away.
ALL WEEK I’VE WATCHED them. Watched them kiss. Watched them as they hold hands. Listened as Livia spoke about how fabulous Ryken is. I only wanted to punch her in the face when she spoke of their more intimate details. He hasn’t spoken to me or even looked in my direction since, and it’s now the Monday after. He wasn’t kidding when he said things would go back to the way they were.
I’ve not gone back to Stiles, even when he asks, even when at times I want to say yes. Because there’s some part of me holding out. And there’s only so long I can do that for.
Walking out to catch the bus, I see them again. Every day and they’re starting to make me sick.
“Saskia...” my name is called loud enough that Ryken hears it, and turns to face me from his car. Livia is leaning on him as he watches me. I turn to look at Stiles, he seems nervous. His hands are sliding in and out of his pockets as he stares at me.
“Hey,” I offer in return.
“I know it’s late notice, but would you like to come to the football function with me? It’s basically a prom, but for everyone that plays and donates.”
Looking past him, Ryken has his arm around Livia’s neck. But his eyes still up here and on me. Looking away, I glance back to Stiles. “Sure. What do I wear, though?”
He instantly relaxes. “It’s floor-length gowns for the women.” He winces when he says it.
“It’s fine, I’ll have one.” I have money. The money from Ryken I haven’t used is sitting in my bank account, and now I’m going to use some of it.
“Can I pick you up tonight at six?” He pulls his cell from his pocket. Sending me a text, I feel it vibrate in my own pocket. “I just sent you the details in case you need to tell your parents.” He doesn’t know my mom is a loss, and my father is dead. I don’t correct him either. Stiles walks away, and I turn, walking back to the school until I find Robert. He’s waiting for me at the doors, leaning on one watching me.
“I feel you’re playing dangerously, Sass.”
“I need a lift into town. I want to buy a dress.”
He shakes his head, pulling his keys from his pocket. He doesn’t often drive, only when his dad is out of town is he allowed the car.
“What do you need a dress for?”
We walk outside, and they’re still in the same spot they were when I walked in. Trying to not look is hard, but I manage it. It doesn’t mean Robert does.
