Ava's Revenge: (Salvation Series Book 2) Page 10

by Jaime Whitley

  “Everything okay?”

“Yeah. I just wanted to wake you up. If you kept sleeping like that you’re ‘gonna wake up with a really bad kink in your neck. Why don’t you go home and get some rest?”

Shaking his head in protest. “There’s no way I’m leaving you here alone.”

“I’ll be fine. If I need anything, I’ll buzz for one of the nurses.” I grab the little stick by the side of my bed and hold it up to him, wiggling it back and forth before placing it back down.

“That’s not what I’m worried about.” Knowing he’s talking about Angelo, I try to ease his worries.

“Angelo doesn’t even know where I am.”

“Just because he doesn’t know right now doesn’t mean he won’t find out; he found out about the drop location. He’s a sick fuck and if he is willing to go as far as to drugging you, who knows what else he’s capable of?” Realizing this is one battle I’m not going to win, I submit to defeat letting out a sigh.

“Fine. But if you’re going to stay the night you’re not sleeping in that chair.” Sliding over in the bed, I pat the side of it. Killian stares at me but remains still in his chair. “Well come on, I don’t bite. I’m not going to have you wake up with a stiff neck and then have to listen to you bitch about it the entire day tomorrow.” Lifting the blanket up, I hold it there until he reluctantly climbs in. Lowering the blanket down on us, I rest my head against his chest.

“Hey, you never said anything about using me as a pillow.”

I slap his chest. “Shut up and go to sleep.”

The feel of cold, rough hands grazing my back rouses me from my sleep. Not ready to start my day, I leave my eyes closed and revel in the fingers tracing their way around my body, paying extra attention to all the spots that make me purr. Goosebumps break out on my skin and a shiver of pleasure runs through me. My eyes remain closed as I roll onto my back. A shift on the bed brings the feel of his body resting on top of me. Moaning, he presses into me and I feel his hot breath blow across my neck seconds before his lips press firmly against it. Tilting my head to the side, I expose the waiting flesh and as if he's a genie granting my wish, his lips trail their way to my collarbone. He gently sucks the crease between my neck and shoulder, making my body respond in pure pleasure. I thrust my hips up and I’m met with him thrusting his hardness back against me before his mouth moves further south down my body.

He lifts the hem of my shirt, his hand moves slowly up my body until his fingers gently grab my nipple, making it tighten under his attention. Arching my back, I grab his hair, push his head down towards his destination, I need him to move quicker, I need him to make touch me. I feel his lips smile against my mound before he attaches his mouth to my pussy, sending chills throughout my body, causing goosebumps to erupt all over my skin. Circling his tongue around my clit, he slides two fingers into me, filling me until I ache for more. He slowly tortures me, taunting me by bringing my body to the point of no return before backing away, leaving me panting with need.

“Stop teasing me. Please just give me what I need.” I plead.

“Use that dirty little mouth, tell me what you need. I need to hear you say it.” I feel his lips move against my skin as he talks, cool air brushing over my hot center.

“Eat my fucking pussy and make me come now!” With that, he inserts a third finger, thrusting into me harder. He picks up the rhythm, his fingers moving in tandem with his wicked tongue. My body tenses, my muscles preparing for the release I desperately need. I'm so close, I can feel the tingling start to spread through my whole core.

“Look at me.” He demands. I open my eyes, and notice the lights are still off, the sunlight peeking through the curtain washes out his face. “You look at me when you come. Do you understand?” I bite my lip, his words finally sending me over the edge into heaven. He continues to gently suck my clit, prolonging my much-needed orgasm. He licks at me, cleaning all my juices from my body, giving me one last flick with his tongue before pulling his mouth away. “My turn.”

Reaching in his pocket, he pulls out a blue cock ring. Raising an eyebrow at him, I reach out and encircle his cock with my hand, stroking it gently while I speak. “So you just happen to carry one of those with you wherever you go?”

“I like to be prepared. It’s good to switch things up and have a little fun sometimes.” He hands the cock ring to me, and after a few seconds I manage to put it on him. I pull him closer to my body, placing him at my wet opening and my eyes roll as he enters my body.

“God, you feel amazing.” His voice is rough with passion as he starts to thrust into me. He feels amazing and it's not long before he is thrusting harder into my body making me wrap my legs around his hips, trying to get a different angle. As I’m about to reach up and kiss him, something catches my eye.

“What the hell?” Immediately breaking out into laughter, grabbing my phone from the unit beside my bed.

“So you want to take pictures of me fucking you? That’s hot! Be sure you send it to me.” I snap a picture, my laughter continuing as I turn the phone so he can see the photo.

“What the fuck? Is my cock glowing blue?” He sounds worried, but not enough to stop moving. His body leaning down onto mine, his lips attaching themselves to my neck.

“It appears so. I have to say, I’ve never been fucked with a glow in the dark cock ring before.” My voice is getting breathy as he pounds into my body, making my insides tense.

“Oh you’re going to get fucked alright. I’m going to fuck you so good you'll need a wheelchair to get out of here.” I would laugh at his words but he steals the breath from my body when he places his thumb on my clit. He starts rubbing it in circles while his mouth finds mine, his tongue stroking over mine with passion. I can taste myself on him with each thrust of his tongue and it’s such an erotic thing. Reaching down between our bodies I cup his balls in my hand and gently start rolling them, earning a groan of approval. The move makes part of him leave my body, just the tip of him rubbing against my g-spot.

“Keep rubbing me like that. God, I’m so fucking close baby. Ride this one out with me.” I gently pull his balls, and I feel myself tighten as I quickly build up to another orgasm. My body shakes under his as we both reach our release, him groaning loudly into the side of my neck. His body collapses on top of mine before giving me a tender kiss. He presses his lips to my forehead for a final kiss, moving from my body to lie on his side of the bed. Relaxed after our amazing lovemaking, we fall into another slumber.

“Ava,” Killian’s voice fills my ears. I moan. “Ava, wake up.”

Opening my eyes, I see I’m sprawled across Killian. My legs are resting over his legs, my body tight against his and my hand is placed on his not-so-limp dick. Oh.My.God. I quickly jump up and remove my hand in horror.

“Oh my God, Killian! I’m so sorry!” My dream of my night with Dante felt so real and I can’t believe the position I’m in.

“That must have been some dream.” Laughing he gets up off the bed, adjusting himself in his pants. “Sorry about this.” He waves his hand in front of his dick. “But in all fairness, you were basically dry humping me in your sleep and those moans, well they would have turned a gay man straight.” Wiggling his eyebrows he smirks at me.

Covering my face with my hands, I want to die. I can’t believe I was touching Killian in my sleep. The poor guy had nowhere to go either since I was basically sprawled across him. These damn hormones are doing a number on me. As soon as I get out of here, I’m going to have to break out my toys and take care of this problem myself.

“Did anyone see that?” I ask humiliated.

“No, I kept trying to wake you but every time I nudged you, you moved closer and eventually rolled on top of me. You give the nursery rhyme, ten in a bed, a whole new meaning.” I look at him confused, wondering what he means but am too scared to ask. Thankfully, he puts me out of my misery.

“You know, there was two in the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over
.” He bellows. Picking up the pillow, I throw it at him but he catches it before it can hit him. “Why don’t you get dressed? I’m pretty sure you will be getting released soon. We need to get to Sal quickly and make him aware of what’s going on.” I nod in agreement and get out of bed, grabbing my clothes to change. “And Ava?” I turn as I’m about to close the door to the bathroom. “We’re going to have to tell Sal about the baby. If Angelo is gunning for you, he needs to know that it’s not just you at risk.”

“Okay.” Closing the door behind me, I grab my phone and shoot Sylva a quick text. I’m sure he’s been worried sick and I need to meet up with him at some point.

Me: Hey! I’m sorry I missed your calls and texts.

Sylva: Ava! Where the hell are you? What happened?

Me: Relax! I’m okay. A girl disappears for a day and everyone loses their shit. Lol

Sylva: That’s not funny! You know it’s not a good thing for someone to go missing with what we do.

Me: You’re right. I’m sorry. I will make it up to you I promise. We will meet later.

Locking my phone, I put it in my back pocket and notice that there’s one thing missing. Walking out of the bathroom, I walk over to my purse looking inside it. After not seeing it, I look around the room.

“Looking for this?” Killian holds up my knife walking back into my room.

  “Yes.”

Walking over, he places the knife in my hand. “This blade is beautiful. Where did you get it?”

“Raven’s Beak Knife & Tool. The owner hand makes each blade and if you tell him specifically what you’re trying to achieve with the blade he will make it to perfection for you. Ready to go?”

“Yeah. Should we head to the restaurant?”

“No, I’d rather take a day to just relax. If I see Angelo today I’m going to beat him into next Tuesday. Let’s plan to do it tomorrow.”

“Okay then would you mind giving me a ride home? I drove you here in your car.”

“It’s the least I can do after touching your ding-a-ling.”

  Beep. Beep. Beep

The alarm sounding through the room goes off way too early for my liking. Waking up at five has always been a challenge for me, I’ve never been a morning person and probably never will be. I wish I didn’t have so much to do today, my body is begging me to sleep in. Scrubbing my hands over my face I chuckle, remembering the grunt that Sylva gave me when I called him to see if he could meet with me. Throwing the comforter off, I swing my legs to the side of the bed and give my body a minute to wake up. After a nice long stretch, I get up and head to the shower to get ready for the day.

Leaving no time to cook, I grab breakfast from a drive through and make my way to Sylva’s cabin. I feel bad that we always have to meet here but it’s convenient and secluded, making it the perfect place. Grabbing the two bags of food, I’ve moved past the knocking on the door phase and just let myself in whenever I need to come here now. The aroma of fresh coffee hits my nose as soon as I walk in making me miss the drink even more. A hot cup of coffee would be amazing right now but I’ll have to settle for water. Dropping the bags on the table I walk over to the fridge.

“Morning! I brought breakfast.” Grabbing a bottle of water, I sit at the table and empty the bags.

“I made coffee.” Sylva walks out from the bedroom buttoning his shirt then tucking it into his slacks.

“What’s with the fancy look? I thought you had today off?”

“I do, but since you have me up so early, I figured I’d go to the early morning service at my church. Coffee?” He asks grabbing a mug from the cabinet.

“No coffee, remember?” I hold up the bottle of water showing I’m all set before opening it and taking a drink.

“I think that’s an old wives tale. One cup won’t kill you.” I choke a little on the water and Sylva pats me on my back. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, it's just funny you should say that.” I put the cap back on the water.

“Why, did you attack someone with a coffee mug? Are you taking after Dante’s love for attacks with ceramic objects?” Smirking at me, he lifts his mug and drinks his coffee.

“No, it's just I got drugged yesterday.” Spitting it out all over the table, I grab a napkin from the bag and wipe up Sylva’s coffee.

“Jesus, Ava! Please tell me this is a lie.” He wipes the coffee remnants off his chin.

  “Nope, not lying.”

Hanging his head in his hands he mumbles, “It’s too early for this shit.” Looking up, he continues, “How did this happen?”

“Not how, who. Angelo is pissed that I’m taking over his job. He showed up at a deal I had going on yesterday and put something in my drink.” Rolling the water bottle between my hands, I can see the worry take over his face.

“This is not good Ava, I need to tell Riggs. That’s if he doesn’t already know. You know Detective Lance keeps tabs on you for him.” Resting his elbows on the table, he leans forward.

“I assure you he doesn’t know and neither does Lance because neither of them even know about the deal I had going yesterday. I haven’t told her and I don’t plan to. You won’t be telling anyone about this either.”

“Are you nuts?” He stands and starts pacing the room. “Ava, you have to tell them. It’s not just you anymore. My God, is the baby even okay?”

Holding up my hand. “The baby is fine. Relax.”

“You get drugged and you tell me to relax. They need to know about this. Maybe Lance or Riggs can get someone else in there. You need someone to help look out for you.”

“First off, I don’t need anyone looking out for me. I can do that all by myself.”

“Yes, because clearly getting yourself drugged is showing what a great job you’re doing.” He claps his hands in exaggeration, which hits a nerve in me. I don’t need the added dramatics seeing as there’s nothing that can be done about it now.

“I can see you’re being protective so I’m going to let that one slide. This shouldn’t have happened and I assure you, it won't happen again.”

“I don’t like that you’re alone in there. At least when Dante was around, you had each other to count on.”

Cracking my knuckles one at a time, I fidget a little, not sure how Sylva is going to take to what I’m about to tell him. “Well, I’m not actually alone, per se.”

With his eyebrows creasing, he tilts his head to the side. “What do you mean you’re not alone? What the hell does that even mean?”

Picking at my shirt, I speak under my breath. “I have Killian.”

Turning his ear in my direction like he couldn’t hear me. “I’m sorry. I must have heard that wrong. I could have sworn you just said you have Killian.”

“You heard me right. Killian has been looking after me. In fact, he’s the one who rushed me to the hospital after I got drugged. Who knows what would have happened if he wasn’t there.” Throwing his head back, he breaks out into a hysterical laugh. “What’s so funny?”

“You have officially lost your mind. You have your cousin, who is essentially against you, watching over you.”

“Well, he’s adopted so technically he’s not my cousin.” He squints at me shaking his head.

“Do you even hear yourself right now? You’re talking crazy! Does he know about the baby? Please tell me he doesn’t know about the baby, Ava.”

“He does. And how is that any of your business? It’s my baby, not yours. So who I decide to tell about it is my business, and mine alone.”

“This is bad, Ava, this is real bad. What if he tells Sal?”

“Sylva stop!” I pinch the bridge of my nose. “I don’t know if you noticed my stomach growing!” Waving my hands around my belly. “I can’t keep wearing baggy clothes. Killian noticed my weight gain and it’s only a matter of time before everyone else does too. That’s another thing I’m here to talk to you about. We’re telling Sal about the baby today.”

Sylva stops pacing. “I need to sit down.” Getting up
from the kitchen table, I walk over to him and sit, placing my hand on his knee. “Did you, even for one minute stop to think what would happen to you if he found out you were a cop? That he wouldn’t turn you in, just like he did to Dante?” If I didn’t know about Aria, I would totally agree with him one hundred percent about this, but I don’t.

“Look, you don’t know Killian like I do. He was just doing his job. I can’t tell you why, but I really think we can pull him in and use him against Sal.”

“Pull him in? Have him on our side? If it weren’t for him, Dante would still be around. He could have let Dante go and just pretend like he never saw him but no, he delivered him to Sal just like the rest of his puppets would have done. What the hell has gotten into you, Ava? I’m starting to think I don’t know you anymore.”

“Maybe you don’t.” Getting up, I grab my bag and walk to the door, resting my hand on the knob. “Look, I like you, Sylva, I really do. You’ve been a great friend and have done so much for me, even when I asked the impossible of you. But I think this is where we need to part ways until all this is over.”

“Are you serious?” Jumping up from the couch, he glares at me.

“Yes. And just so you know, I’m going to talk to Lance about bringing Killian in. I know he can help us and I know he will. You don’t know him and you don’t know what he’s been through.”

“Clearly.” He turns his back on me, retreating to the bedroom and slamming the door behind him.

I don’t have time to argue today so I don’t bother following him. I take a deep, shuddering breath as I let myself out. Pulling out of the drive, I leave Sylva in the safety of the cabin and head to meet Killian and Sal.

Pulling up to the restaurant, I’m a ball of nerves. The tension in my neck is unbearable and it suddenly feels like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I wish I could blame the nauseous feeling I’m having right now on morning sickness but I can’t, I’m scared shitless of what the outcome of this afternoon is going to be.
