"Master still hasn't arrived yet, can it be that he was beaten to death by someone?" Tian Si asked as he blinked his eyes.

Ignoring Tian Si, Tian Yi looked at Zhong Yue and asked, "By the way, Senior Martial Brother Zhong, where are you planning to go?"

"We are planning to go to the Nacre Lake as well," answered Zhong Yue.

Then, they all departed and not long later, a golden lake appeared in front of them. Clouds could be seen floating on the lake, some of these clouds looked like stalactites, and they appeared in various colors as they floated on top of the lake.

And on top of these clouds was a platform made purely out of clouds. There were jade railings around the platform, and there were also stairs made of clouds that allowed people to get up the platform.

There were already countless Qi Practitioners from various clans on top of the platform, making the atmosphere very lively.

Zhong Yue and the others got up the platform, and when scanned the surroundings, they realized the Qi Practitioners' presences were nothing like those from the Ancestral Star; those from the Kun Lun Realm all carried an incredibly powerful presence, and if they were in Ancestral Star, they would all on par with hallmasters and elder level!

Besides, they were all disciples of gods. At the same level, they would often be much stronger than those from the Ancestral Star due to the greater wealth of resource that had access to!

I never thought that there would be such a huge difference between Kun Lun Realm and the Ancestral Star.

Just as Zhong Yue's mind mulled on this realization, the eight tiny tiger cubs rolled around the platform, and suddenly, a scream was heard. Tian Yi then glared at Tian Qi and snarled, "Spit him out!"

Tian Qi innocently blinked his eyes with his puffed-out mouth that obviously had something inside it, but Tian Yi shouted again, "Spit it out! I saw what you did there!"

Tian Qi then reluctantly opened up his mouth and spat out a Qi Practitioner from some race. As he was spat out, he stood there with his clothes soaked with Tian Qi's saliva, and he did not manage to react in time.

"This senior martial brother here, I am very sorry for what my brother did, I have failed to keep an eye on him... San Er, if you ever do this again, I will punish you at any costs!"

Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er were speechless as they stood at the side, and Qiu Jin'er whispered, "Senior martial brother, I think we should stay away from these eight tiger cubs…."

Zhong Yue immediately agreed to Qiu Jin'er's suggestion, and he thought, I thought I was a troublemaker, but these eight guys are even worse than me! I think it's better for us to gather information on Chi Xue's and Ying Nu's location first. Chi Xue arrived at the South Barren with the Phoenix clan's Qi Practitioners, so if we find the Qi Practitioners from the Feng Clan, we will be able to find Chi Xue and the others.

Chapter 434: To Win Through Diplomacy |

On the platform was another golden platform where only gods were permitted to enter. From time to time, gods could be seen flying toward the golden platform, and they were all welcomed by a rainbow-colored ray, while the Qi Practitioners remained on the cloud platform.

Meanwhile, divine rays shone from the golden platform, painting the platform with vibrant colors, and although the godly aura did not leak out from the platform, just looking at the golden platform was already shocking enough.

The power that the Western Mother Empire possessed in the Kun Lun Realm was unimaginably deep! If the clan masters, headmasters, and high priests in the Ancestral Star were here, they might not even have the qualifications to enter the golden platform.

Zhong Yue was shocked to see that when compared to the Ancestral Star, there was an abundance of resources that were left behind by the gods that was incomparable to the Ancestral Star. The paragons of the Ancestral Star might not even be considered as someone powerful here.

But this was not because the Ancestral Star was weak. Whatever happened in the Ancestral Star was related to the huge figures that once appeared long ago; those strong individuals had stolen the land in the Ancestral Star to craft into a soul weapon. As a result, the amount of habitable land in the Ancestral Star was reduced from its formerly vast world to a tiny planet.

For example, the portion of the Ancestral Star's land that Lord Xia had stolen and forged into the lesser void world was already far larger than the current Ancestral Star!

And this was not to mention the other gods that took portions of the Ancestral Star for themselves, making it their own possessions. Among them, there was the Fu Xi Clan's Heavenly Emperor that buried himself in the Ancestral Star and took the most land from the Ancestral Star.

Even the Reincarnation Monarch had his emperor tomb built in the Ancestral Star, even seizing planets to place them around his tomb. Not only that, but the size of his tomb itself was much bigger than the lesser void world!

Just imagine how the Ancestral Star would look like if these stolen lands were returned to the Ancestral Star!

Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er searched around for the Qi Practitioners of Feng Clan, and they both kept wondering where the Feng Clan's Qi Practitioners could be. Meanwhile, the eight Golden Hous were already gone from their vicinity.

The scenes they came across were, however, all very idyllic and beautiful. And so they continued searching for their target in peace while enjoying the view.

The Kun Lun Realm is indeed a paradise. No wonder Chi Xue was able to reach the Godlike Board and grab a high rank for herself.

Zhong Yue measured a luxurious-looking pillar, realizing that it was carved with various totem carvings that were seemingly left behind by some gods. He then praised, "There is some sort of advanced art hidden in this pillar, and the quality of the art is also something very rarely seen in our Ancestral Star."

Qiu Jin'er, who stood at the front of another pillar, suddenly exclaimed in happiness, "Senior martial brother, the totem carvings here are the wood spirit totem carvings!"

Zhong Yue immediately walked towards that pillar and opened his divine third eye to examine the totem carvings. He then laughed, "Indeed, if you study it and learn the art hidden within the pillar, you will benefit greatly."

He then studied the totem carvings, and after a moment, he managed to get a grasp on the art, and he immediately taught it to Qiu Jin'er.

Qiu Jin'er was very happy, and she said again, "There are so many pillars here, can it be that there are arts hidden in every one of these pillars?"

Immediately, Zhong Yue looked at the thousands of pillars standing everywhere, and he thought, Can it be that this place is actually a god-tier array? Strange, the more I look at it, the more this place feels like a portal to somewhere….

Suddenly, the sound of an explosion rang out as some skills clashed. Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er looked towards the direction of the sound, and they saw people on the cloud platform engaged in battle.

The battle was extremely violent as the skills that were cast were all unusually powerful. Each was strong enough to destroy mountains and evaporate rivers; the Qi Practitioners moved around the scene as they each charged at each other with Heavenly Dharma soul weapons.

This place was the Nacred Lake that had a supremely dense godly aura; thus, even the Heavenly Dharma and True Spirit level Qi Practitioners had part of their strength suppressed here. Therefore, although the parties fighting together were all powerful, the buildings around the Nacred Lake suffered no damage as the Qi Practitioners' strengths were suppressed to the point where they posed no threat to the surroundings.

After all, this place was the heavenly palace from ages past.

Zhong Yue looked at the battle for a moment, and he suddenly saw a Golden Hou charge out from the battle, letting out a roar that was even louder than dragons,' injuring many! However, this Golden Hou was immediately pulled back into the battlefield by a huge hand.

“Those are the eight Golden Hous of Tian Wu God.”

Qiu Jin'er's expression changed slightly, and she asked, "What hav
e they done? Why are there so many people attacking them?"

There were almost 100 Qi Practitioners that attacked the eight Golden Hous, and Zhong Yue frowned immediately upon seeing this scene.

  “Senior martial brother?”

Qiu Jin'er looked at Zhong Yue and said, "They might be a little mischievous, but they treated us nicely all the way here…."

Zhong Yue then walked toward the front and said, "Let us have a taste of how strong the Qi Practitioners of the Kun Lun Realm are."

Qiu Jin'er quickly followed behind him in worry, and she softly said, "Senior martial brother, we should try to reason with them and avoid conflict."

Zhong Yue nodded and answered, "Don't worry, I am not a violent person. I am always the type to try to solve problems with diplomacy first."

However, Qiu Jin'er, who knew his personality well, quickly tried to recall the time when Zhong Yue tried to do what he just claimed, and she realized that there hadn't even been one instance of it.

"Senior martial brother, are you sure about what you said?" The young lady probed.

Zhong Yue, however, did not reply, and as he walked toward the front, he realized that the Qi Practitioners surrounded the eight Golden Hous in the middle, hitting them until blood soaked their bodies. Among those who attacked the eight Golden Hous, there were a few that were at the peak of Heavenly Dharma attacking them as if it were a life and death battle rather than a friendly match.

"Junior martial sister, stand aside and wait for me while I deal with this."

As soon as he asked Qiu Jin'er to stand aside, he suddenly charged into the battle like lightning, swung his sleeves that dragged the eight Golden Hous away. Just as the Qi Practitioners' attacks were about to hit him, he dashed out from the battle and dodged them in the nick of time.

He entered and exited the battle so quickly that in a blink of an eye, he has saved the eight Golden Hous from being surrounded.

  “Gentlemen, why so serious?”

Zhong Yue let the eight Golden Hous down before greeting the furious Qi Practitioners, "Can we all just back off and take a moment to relax?"

The Qi Practitioners all surrounded them, and an old man with a horse head asked coldly, "Who are you?"

"I am Zhong Yue from Zhong Yue Clan," replied Zhong Yue politely.

  “Never heard of it!”

The old man then smirked and said, "You want to reason with me? Fine, these eight Golden Hous took their chance when I'm alone, and they broke my bones. How are you going to deal with this?"

Upon hearing the question of the old man, the eight Golden Hous measured the old man, and they all said together, "Who are you? When did we attack you?"

Just as the old man was about to say something, Tian Wuu raised up his furry paws, pointing at the old man and saying happily, "Oh oh! Don't say, I think I remember now!"

After a moment, Tian Wuu scratched his head and said awkwardly, “Who are you? We have beaten up too many people that I can’t remember you anymore.”

"I am Ma Zhengfeng, the disciple of the Horse King God! You injured me back then, and when my master went to seek an explanation from Tian Wu God, he protected the eight of you, so nothing ended up happening. Now, without him here to protect you, I will have my vengeance!"

Suddenly, another cow-headed Qi Practitioner said angrily, "Do you all still remember when you went to the Bull God's place, there was a guardian to a treasure who got tied up and interrogated by you? I am the guardian!"

Another few more Qi Practitioners walked up, and one of them smirked as he said, "Do you still remember the Yu She Qi Practitioner that you knocked out in the spirit garden of Yu God?"

"You buggers roasted my master's mount. That mount roasted is my senior martial brother, and he would have died if my master did not arrive in time!"

More and more Qi Practitioners swarmed towards them, trapping them in the center, and Zhong Yue felt the onset of a migraine, It is really lucky for Tian Wu God that he is still alive now… Just how crazy can these Golden Hous get?

He then looked at the eight Golden Hous and asked, “Brothers, are you the ones who did what they said?”

“Which one of you remember what we did?” asked Tian Yi as he scratched his head.

The other seven immediately shook their head and replied innocently, “Of course not! We have done many things, who would still remember them?”

Speechless, Zhong Yue looked at everyone around and said politely, "Dear senior martial brothers and senior martial sisters, please forgive them for what they have done. They never threatened your lives before, and today, I reckon that you have all gotten your revenge after injuring them so severely. How about we all move past this and be friends?"

Qiu Jin'er was relieved as she thought in happiness, Senior martial brother really is trying hard not to resort to violence….

The horse-headed old man, however, refused, "Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to us like that, you nameless swine! Today, these eight brats must die here, and if you dare to spit out a word from your mouth again, we will also kill you!"

The Yu She Qi Practitioner added on, “If you want us to move on just like that, you will have to earn it by fighting us!”

Upon hearing their replies, Zhong Yue frowned and asked politely, "Is there no other way?"

"Easy, just take responsibilities for what happened," replied a Qi Practitioner.

  “Is that so….”

Zhong Yue suddenly unleashed his aura that intensified the atmosphere, turning into his giant Ming King form. He laughed and said, "You should have just started off with that then! I wasted so much time trying to reason with all of you! Qi Practitioners from the Kun Lun Realm, I have long wanted to fight with all of you!"

Stunned, Qiu Jin’er murmured, “I thought senior martial brother wanted to reason everything out….”

  Chapter 435: Only Half |

On the Nacre Lake Golden Stage, the gods of Kun Lun had gathered to present their gifts to the Western Mother, congratulating her on her 10,000th birthday. The atmosphere was warm and lively.

Suddenly, the sounds of quarrelling could be heard coming from the Nacre Lake Cloud Stage below, a golden-armored god summoned a god chiliarch, he asked, "What is going on down there? Do they not know how to behave themselves in the heavenly palace?"

"Sir, it is the eight little Golden Hou of Tian Wu God. They have offended many disciples and are now surrounded."

The god chiliarch smiled and answered, "These little ones are some really good troublemakers. Tian Wu God is a bright young star among the gods, but because of them, he already has so many enemies."

“Ah, so it's those eight little troublemakers."

On the side, a god with a ponytail hair and a few hairs of long beard heard them. He was the Ma Wang God, "Those eight troublemakers had beaten up my disciple. It's a good lesson for them to be beaten once, at least they deserve it."

The god chiliarch then answered, "But a young Qi Practitioner stood up for them. He is now confronting the disciples of Ma Wang, Niu, Yu Shen, Liang Yu, and the other gods. He said that he will bear the responsibility for whatever the eight Golden Hous have done."

The gods on the golden platform interests were then piqued. They all looked down and saw Zhong Yue standing against the gods' disciples. One of them laughed and said, "Who's that? What a brave young man, for him to dare to help them. Where does he come from, is he not afraid of death?"

Yu Shen God then said placidly, "Those eight little ones have made enemies of too many experts that not even Tian Wu God alone can bear it. What makes this boy think he can?"

Jin Wu God then laughed, "Ma Wang's disciple, Ma Zhengfeng, has acquired Ma Wang's true heritage, while the other experts were not weak either. Just who does this young Qi Practitioner thinks he is? To challenge so many disciples? Is he the disciple of someone else here?"

The gods then shook their heads and responded, “Never seen him before.”

Jin Wu God then mulled and said
, "Judging from his Monster God Ming King's form, he is most probably a monster Qi Practitioner. Today is a day of celebration, it's fine for the little ones to play around, it will add some festivities to the day. However, there must be no casualties, at least, not today."

The other gods laughed and nodded, “Of course. Any single one of us can easily save him.”

On the Nacre Lake Cloud Stage, Zhong Yue was tingling with excitement. Ever since his arrival in Kun Lun, having met with so many gods and seeing a cultivation civilization that was far more developed than the one on the Ancestral Star, he couldn't help but have the desire to battle!

In the Ancestral Star, Zhong Yue had already reached the peak among his peers. Other than Bi Xue who he had yet to fight, no one else could compete with him.

It was too much to say that he was feeling bored due to his invincibility, but he was aware of one fact — without competition, it would be impossible to improve. After all, if he wanted to fully explore the limits of Heavenly Dharma before he moved to the next cultivation level, it was only possible through the insights that a battle could provide!

And such fights must be against those in the same cultivation level as battling with the senior cultivators such as Peng Qianqiu and Peng Jinyi would not help him in exploring the Heavenly Dharma level. This was because the stronger cultivators in a higher level wouldn't suppress their powers to the same level as him when they fought.

In the Awakening and Atman Body level, he had way too many enemies, and that allowed him to succeed in reverse opening the five secret realms. Eventually, he was able to cultivate the sixth secret realm, an achievement that was unmatched among those at his level!

However, that couldn't be said for his Inner Core and Heavenly Dharma level, and this was because by that point, he had already left his peers far behind.

Thus, he stepped out and voluntarily took on the responsibility of the eight Golden Hous' actions. He wasn't trying to prove himself or show off; he only wanted to place himself in a situation that would pressure him to improve. He longed for a battle with the Kun Lun Qi Practitioners, he wanted to learn his own weaknesses, and he wanted to learn of his foes' strengths and claim them as his own.
