Zhong Yue hesitated, truth be told, he was as eager as Feng Xiaozhong to discover the fundamentals of Dao, to study it without being disrupted by the worldly affairs.

  But…

“Senior martial brother, there is more in life than this.” Zhong Yue said with a calm face, “There are things more important than just the Dao.”

Feng Xiaozhong was puzzled, he asked curiously, “Really?”

“Yes! There is!” Zhong Yue nodded heavily.

Chapter 819: A Hundred Thousand Zhong Yue |

Feng Xiaozhong heard him and shook his head, “Maybe there is something greater than the Dao for you, but not for me. To me, nothing else can amaze me more than Dao itself.”

Zhong Yue was just planning to persuade Feng Xiaozhong but immediately cast the thought aside. Feng Xiaozhong was only Feng Xiaozhong because of his manic pursuit of the Dao. If one day Feng Xiaozhong were to stop, then he wouldn’t be the same Feng Xiaozhong anymore.

“Junior martial brother, far too much runs through your mind, your thoughts are not as clear as mine. This will do no good to your cultivation progress.” Feng Xiaozhong said, “Your heart is anchored down by too many things. You are like a man in chains. And without freedom, the most you can go is only as far as the ancient ancestors, anything beyond that will be a mere dream.”

Zhong Yue nodded, he was only learning and still trying to grasp the bigger picture; but Feng Xiaozhong, he was at a higher level. He was already on his way to unlocking the secrets of the Dao, the true nature of the heaven and earth. As far as Zhong Yue was concerned, he currently saw no way of surpassing Feng Xiaozhong’s achievements.

However, the world was much bigger than that. There were mysteries of Dao yet to be discovered and paths yet to be walked on.

Zhong Yue and Feng Xiaozhong, they were both pioneers in different walks of life.

Zhong Yue recollected his thoughts and no longer thought to bring up the survival of the human race anymore. Instead, he calmed himself and started studying the innate god’s mortal body alongside Feng Xiaozhong.

This was a golden opportunity to him, the perfect chance he needed. Although he had cultivated the innate mortal body and innate Yuan Shen, the innate god’s mortal body still contained many secrets unknown to him.

The innate gods incredible power could be related to the trillions of secret realms in their mortal body. Each of these secret realms were formed by innate totem patterns, making them a level beyond the prenate mortal bodies. As they were formed from innate totem patterns, they were bestowed with terrifying powers, and the exact reason why their soul, mortal body, Dao, and Yuan Shen were in unity.

Thus, studying these secret realms would allow him to attain the abstrusities of the unity of the soul, Yuan Shen, mortal body, and Dao. Moreover, there might be a slim chance for him to find a way to inverse the state of acquired to innate!

To the world, what Zhong Yue was best at was his combat ability, but in truth, his greatest asset wasn’t his strength, but his divinatory calculation technique!

Whereas Feng Xiaozhong’s strongest ability was his research ability.

Thus, with the two together, they would be able to fasten the study a few times more than Feng Xiaozhong doing it alone.

“Senior martial brother, have you not sometimes felt like your intelligence is insufficient?” Zhong Yue asked, “As if, there isn’t enough brains to use?”

“How simple, wouldn’t just preparing a few more of yourself solve the problem?” Feng Xiaozhong replied placidly.

Then, Feng Xiaozhong’s body flickered and another him fell out of his mortal body; and in just a few moments, there were a million Feng Xiaozhong inside of the innate god’s body, moving around and studying it.

All of these Feng Xiaozhong were donned in his usual white clothes and they were indistinguishable form the real Feng Xiaozhong.

As they were moving around in the innate god’s body, some of them were exchanging their findings, some were studying the innate totem patterns, and some visualized the [Dragon Shears] in an attempt to cut a wound on the innate god’s body to study the cells. They were all tasked with something to do and executed their tasks perfectly at Feng Xiaozhong’s command.

Zhong Yue was dumbfounded, he exclaimed out in shock, “This is a Creators’ ability! Are you a Creator already?”

This was far more profound than Zhong Yue’s blood incarnation or the psyche incarnation.

Zhong Yue’s blood incarnation could make an incarnation of himself with a droplet of blood. It was the exact means he has used in the Human Sovereign Library and concocted the Karmic Web.

But the psyche incarnation was to make incarnations of himself with his own psyche, which was seen when he cast it to study the arts and techniques.

Whether it the blood incarnation or psyche incarnation, they were both just the half-step Creator level techniques. They were just incarnations with no truly materialized physical form.

However, Feng Xiaozhong’s million incarnations had their own bodies and brains. The incarnations were leagues above what Zhong Yue was able to produce. There was no doubt that it was a Creator-level technique!

With that said, a question naturally followed—Feng Xiaozhong was just not a Creator but somewhere in the levels of Heavenly Deity or True Deity. Just how was it possible for him to cast the Creator-level technique?

Feng Xiaozhong shook, “Creators are just cultivators who’ve understood the abstrusities of Reincarnation. If you understand the Reincarnations, you will be able to cast it too. What measures one’s cultivation level is not power, but insights. If you can attain the core and nature of the said level, the conventional measurement and bottlenecks of the cultivation levels will mean nothing at all to you.”

Zhong Yue was enlightened, Feng Xiaozhong’s intimate understanding of cultivation was laid bare to him, but Zhong Yue just couldn’t imagine himself achieving it yet.

“These incarnations, they have bodies and brains, but they lack their own atmans, that will pose a limit to their abilities. How do you grant them that?” Zhong Yue ran the possibility in his mind and asked.

“Simple, separate your atman into a million pieces.” Feng Xiaozhong answered as if it was only reasonable for one to think so, “Then throw them into your Six Paths Reincarnations, let them reincarnate in it and grow themselves. When they are strong enough, you can then release them and let them help you with your studies.”

Zhong Yue listened with his mouth agape and his mind tumbling into shock. Cutting one’s atman into a million pieces and yet, still remain full consciousness and a clear mind?

And throwing these million pieces of atmans into the Six Paths Reincarnations and allowing them to cultivate themselves, that would make a million of himself. If a single man were to entertain a kind of thoughts, a million men would make a million thoughts, and a trillion men would have a trillion thoughts!

Then, if those million men were in fact, a single man himself, he would have a million thoughts coming from himself. Just does how one control these million self and million thoughts?

In the vast universe, there were races born with talents that allowed them to split their Yuan Shen into a few. For example, the Xiao Mang Celestial Race had three heads and thus, they could cultivate three mortal bodies with three Yuan Shen. This was similar to Feng Wuji who cultivated the [Mystic Duplication Technique], separating his Yuan Shen into a main Yuan Shen and two ancillary ones.

Then, there was the Tian Wu Celestial Race, they had eight tiger heads that could be divided into eight Hous, just like the Tian Wu God in the Kun Lun Realm.

These races were born with the talent and foundation for it and they could only divide themselves into a limited number of incarnations.

But Feng Xiaozhong, he had made himself a million incarnations. Zhong Yue suddenly felt like his imagination was insufficient.

What if there were atmans that betray him….

The consequences would be merely unimaginable!

“Those that go against my will, those that try to do evil, just eat them and return them to yourself. Come, I’ll teach you how to separate the atman and create the incarnations.”

Feng Xiaozhong’s psyche rumbled and imparted Zhong Yue with his self-created [One Fission Mystic Art], he said, “Junior martial brother, quickly cultivate it and we’ll study the innate god together.”

The art was truly amazing. It contained the natural talent totem patterns of many races, and there were even innate totem patterns embedded in it. Zhong Yue studied it carefully and counted over 4000 types of totem patterns from different races!

But what was more important were the attainments of the Six Paths Reincarnations in it. The art contained the ways to utilize the Six Paths Reincarnations for the growth of the separated atmans. There was so much knowledge that only the Creators understood what could be found in the art itself.

Fortunately, Zhong Yue’s divinatory calculation technique was incredible. He was able to attain the art and start cultivating it, separating his Yuan Shen and using his own blood and bones to create an incarnation of himself.

  Argh—

Pain was the only sensation that filled his body and mind. Zhong Yue only managed to separate ten of himself before the pain went beyond his endurance. Furthermore, the pain wasn’t just temporary, it would stay as long as the separated atmans weren’t returned to the main body!

“A million incarnations, just how much pain would that be? Senior Martial Brother Feng, how do you endure it?” Zhong Yue resisted the pain and looked at Feng Xiaozhong who looked placid as usual. There wasn’t a single hint that he was enduring any iota of pain. Admiration for Feng Xiaozhong immediately rose in Zhong Yue’s heart.

Feng Xiaozhong looked over and replied casually, “I’ve dismantled my sense of pain and sealed them away, including those of my Yuan Shen. The pain is easy to deal with, it only brings a little bit of discomfort that would impair my performance and disturb my judgment. Thus, the simpler way is to just take the sense of pain down and only unseal it when it is needed. I’ll teach you.”

Zhong Yue immediately turned speechless. What a mad way that could only be thought out of a mad mind.

Fine then, I’ll also be a mad man for once.

Under the madman’s guidance, Zhong Yue dismantled the sense of pain in both his mortal body and Yuan Shen. It was only then that he was able to continue the separation process. He cast the Six Paths Reincarnations in his body and threw his incarnations into it so that they would reincarnate time after time and grow stronger.

It was only a few days in the real world but a thousand years have flashed by in his Six Paths Reincarnations. The hundred thousand incarnations that Zhong Yue separated from himself were now ready to be released to assist him in his study.

With a change of thought, the hundred incarnations were taken out from his Six Paths Reincarnations and released to the real world. In just seconds, his surroundings were filled by himself.

Zhong Yue winked his eyes and just when he was ordering them to help him in attaining the abstrusities of the innate god’s body, these hundred thousands of Zhong Yue have tumbled into chaos.

Some were moving away and shouting happily, “Xin Huo, Xin Huo, follow me! We’ll go have fun with all kinds of ladies!”

“I am the king of my own, all men shall bow before me and all women shall lie for me!”

“Ladies, ladies, I’m coming for you! I’ll make enough of the little ones to start a new Fuxi Clan of my own!”

“Shut up everyone! Follow my lead and we’ll conquer this universe. Power, wealth, beauties, they will all soon be ours!”

“For the wealth and treasures, for the foundation of our empire, we’ll go plunder the imperial tombs!”

“Kill! Kill them all who defies me!”

“I’m so scared, what if they found out I’m actually a Fuxi… It’s better that I go find somewhere and hide myself…”

“Hehe, the Heavenly Monarch is me!”

  “A simple home I wish, a simple life I need…”

“Let’s go dug a hole and see who falls into it, it must be fun to see one falling in trouble!”

“Why listen to the real us? Why listen to one’s command when I can be real Zhong Yue? Kill the real Zhong Yue and I’ll be the real me! Come at me, roar!”

  …

The hundred thousand Zhong Yue were moving all across the place and their vociferous noises filled the scene. Zhong Yue found himself having a headache in an instant. All of his thoughts were enlarged by the Six Paths Reincarnations, turning into an incarnation of himself that upholds that thought as the goal of his life. Hence, they had turned into all kinds of characters, some even wanting to kill him and replace him as the real Zhong Yue.

“For how many thoughts you have, there will be how much demons that exist.” Feng Xiaozhong said, “Good or bad, benevolent or nefarious, they are all you.”

Zhong Yue tried to suppress those that were making too much noise and forced them to follow his will with his abundant psyche. But as for those that couldn’t be salvaged, he had no choice but to devour and return them back to himself.

But a few moments later, there were incarnations of himself trying to usurp him again. Zhong Yue was forced to suppress them again and ‘killed’ some others to show his dominance as the main body and real Zhong Yue.

Zhong Yue sighed in his heart in immense guilt. All of these incarnations were a part of himself, they each resembled a thought he has deep in mind, which was now enlarged and presented as an incarnation.

After a long time, he was finally able to control the [One Fission Mystic Art]. Then, all it was left to do was to discover the mysteries of the innate god’s body.

With his divinatory calculation technique and Feng Xiaozhong’s uncanny research capability, the pair made quick work of the innate god’s innate totem patterns.

Feng Xiaozhong had even experimented with the innate totem patterns on his own mortal body. He engraved them into his body and even took a step further down by trying to change his body matters into the worlds of totem patterns just like the innate god’s!

What he was doing was no other than trying to open the multifarious secret realms in his mortal body, and the risk that follows with such a primitive method was immensely high!

The multifarious secret realms exist in all living creatures. But the innate gods had access to them ever since gaining sentience, whereas the secret realms of other living creatures were closed and hidden deep in their bodies since birth. Mortals had to find a way to open it by themselves.

Furthermore, the body structure and composition of the mortals were different from the innate gods. Rashly experimenting with such a primitive method on one’s body like what Feng Xiaozhong was doing came at high risk and uncertainty.

One could even say that Feng Xiaozhong was toying with his body and risking his life doing this.

  …

Meanwhile, Feng Wuji led the Deity Overlords and arrived in the proximity of the mountain where Feng Xiaozhong’s palace was situated. He stared at the mountain with locked brows.

Chapter 820: Begging For Rice With A Diamond Bowl |

This aura… Feng Wuji’s face turned gloomy as he pondered.

Moments later, one of the Deity Overlord asked, “Mister, why did you stop moving?”

“A terrifying presence stays within the mountain,” Feng Wuji’s tone turned dark and deep as he said, “I want to meet with him, but I am afraid to see him.”

“A terrifying presence?” The Deity Overlords were puzzled.

Feng Wuji’s face was dark and gloomy, the hem of his clothes fluttered by itself even when there were no winds, he said, “He is my father, a terrifying presence who I once feared more than anything else. But after all, he is the one who brought me to life, I still respect him a lot. Little did I expect to meet him here and think that Mister Yi is with him. However, I am not the old me now, I am far more powerful than he is now. Looks like it’
s time for me to get rid of the fear I once had for him.”

After a long time, Feng Wuji made his mind and he inhaled deeply. He led the Deity Overlords and strode for the mountain.

Shi Tuo descended from the sky and he stopped the Deity Overlords on their paths. The Deity Overlords turned vigilant in an instant and one of them gave a cold sneer, “A mere demon god’s spirit and you dare stand in our way? You should just crawl back into the Void World and live in it. Why do you even descend and seek death?”

Shi Tuo sneered back, he said arrogantly, “A bunch of brats, do you even know what death is? Do you need your father Shi Tuo to teach you, kids?”

The Deity Overlords were infuriated and burst out their auras while Shi Tuo stood without fear. Suddenly, Feng Wuji raised his hand and stopped them, “Be at ease, I am half a master to this place. There is no need to be furious at a lowly gatekeeper. Gatekeeper, listen carefully, I am the son of your master and I demand to see him.”

“You are master’s son?” Shi Tuo was shocked and he looked at Feng Wuji from top to bottom. He frowned and asked, “My master is a human, what are you? Fine, follow me and I will bring you to him, but your servants will stay here.”

Feng Wuji laughed, “They are mine to command, of course I will bring them to let my father have a look at them, to let him know what sort of power his son holds.”

Shi Tuo glanced at the Deity Overlords with a weird expression on his face, he shook and said, “Fine, do whatever you want. Follow me.”

Feng Wuji raised his head and slightly pushed his chest out with pride. He led the Deity Overlords and arrived before the Spiritual Jade Palace. He laughed, “My father was once a talent that shook the world, one who stood above all. Yet, look at this place, look at this palace, does this even count as a decent rabbit hole?”

A Deity Overlord smiled, “Mister Wuji comes under a great teacher who even master has to treat with respect. Mister Wuji has seen many treasures. Of course this palace wouldn’t even be worth a scrap.”
