  “Dao!”

  He shouted the second time, and another light wheel was formed. This one showed the scenes of evillish creatures with horrible looks, roaring and screaming.

  “Dao!”

  “Dao!”

  “Dao!”

  “Dao!”

  Six loud shouts and six light wheels were opened up behind Zhu Xie. There were the evildoers, the evilish creatures, the evil gods, the evil demons, the evil spirits from the Void World, and the last shout, called upon Zhu Xie’s Pang Gu giant, the god of the greatest evil!

  Zhu Xie’s body grew bigger, layers and layers of Heavens emerged beneath him as he stepped the 33 Heavens down on his feet!

  In the Layers Heavens, phantoms of the horrible looking evils appeared, they were weaponized, dancing and worshipping, these were the evils that nurtured his birth!

  Zhu Xie’s was quivering as huge and sharp bones spiked out of his body. He was a handsome young man, but now, he has turned into a creature filled with bone spikes, looking like a celestial-demon hybrid.

  He roared like thunders and rushed down from the 33 Layers Heavens, one step at a time, his aura has reached its greatest peak, coming down at Zhong Yue!

  “COME FIGHT!”

  Zhu Xie stood above the 33 Layers Heavens, and the powers of the Heavens all surged into his body, one could imagine just how explosive his powers would be!

  The 10,000 miles of distance was traversed in just a flash, the space in front of him was so heavily compressed they broke like mirrors and he slammed a palm right toward Zhong Yue!

  When Zhu Xie pounced over from 10,000 miles away, in Zhong Yue’s eyes, the sky was shattering and flames were burning high and filled the sky in just seconds. Zhu Xie’s silhouette and his incoming palm was filled with the feeling of hopelessness!

  Although he was suppressed in the Heavenly Deity level, this strike alone was able to even terrorized the strongest Deity Overlord!

  Bo Qingyun, Jin Taibai, and the other Deity Overlords have stiffened up their faces. They declined Zhu Xie’s challenge not because they were afraid of him, but they didn’t have the full confidence to defeat him, and that there wasn’t a need for it too.

  But seeing Zhu Xie’s first strike in the Heavenly Deity level, they now realized that Zhu Xie in his True Deity level definitely had the strength to kill them.

  This, was all because of this one palm strike. It was too terrifying to watch; in it, they saw 33 kinds of monarch weapons’ skills, each Heavens resembled a monarch weapon’s skill.

  Zhu Xie didn’t use the [Evil Tome], it was still the [Thirty-three Layers Solar Heavens Scripture], but its true power was fully showcased through one palm strike.

  For each step he took coming down from the 33 Layers Heavens, there would be a world that rose behind him. After 33 steps, there were 33 worlds hovering high up above.

  These worlds were the monarch weapons’ embryonic forms, they were able to primitively turn into the shapes of the monarch weapons, These were future monarch weapons of Six Paths!

  Zhu Xie’s rushing down from the 33 Heavens was an act of gathering and heightening his aura, whereas these 33 embryonic monarch weapons were the true killing blow, a great skill used to kill Zhong Yue!

  He didn’t use the [Evil Tome], perhaps, he didn’t think there was a need at all!

  Zhong Yue stood on top of a mountain. Before Zhu Xie’s strike reached to him, the space around has already started to shudder, the earth quaking and the mountains around crumbling down.

  Suddenly, a marvelous looking Innate Tai Chi pattern appeared beneath Zhong Yue’s feet. In an instant, the totem patterns of various Daos filled the surrounding. The sun and moon rose as Yin and Yang emerged in different sides. The celestial and demon separated, and the star river swayed, forming a three-dimensional Tai Chi pattern. Then, the four Daos, Tai Yin, Tai Yang, Shao Yang, and Shao Yin, turned into four unique patterns at the four sides, projecting the Eight Trigrams even further out to the sides.

  Zhong Yue raised his hand, and the Eight Trigrams Art followed.

  The loud din of a bell came crashing into their eardrums. It rumbled unstoppingly as their palms clashed for a second before separating.

  Zhu Xie leaped into midair and the 33 Layers Heavens behind him rotated. The second Heavens moved up, turning into another kind of monarch weapon.

  He was fast like lightning, pouncing down from another direction with the immense power of the monarch weapon’s skill!

  Zhong Yue was unmoved, he raised his hand and the Innate Eight Trigrams followed his palm and moved. Their skills clashed again, and yet another loud din of bell ravaged the land.

  Zhu Xie was shifting places time after time, attacking from different directions, each time with a different monarch weapon. The 33 Layers Heavens were changing nonstop, the monarch weapon’s skills contained in the Heavens were also changing nonstop in his hands. Each of the monarch weapon’s skills had their own marvelousness, blinding the eyes of the audience!

  Outside of the Heavenly Deity Altar, the gods held their breaths and watched the battle!

  Zhu Xie’s attack was like the raging sea, the outcome of the battle could easily be determined in just the blink of an eye. They simply couldn’t risk missing out a split second. Who knew while they were blinking their eyes, one of the two of them would’ve been killed already!

  Zhong Yue stood on the same mountain, no matter how much Zhu Xie’s attack changes were, he was still defending himself with the same hand, same action.

  The impact force from the attacks and defenses relentlessly swept across the land, crushing mountains and thinning the lands. The only thing that remained protruding above the ground was the mountain Zhong Yue was standing on.

  It was like a sky-high pillar, immovable regardless of the extreme conditions it was in.

  When Zhu Xie finished casting the whole of [Thirty-three Layers Solar Heavens Scripture], he was shocked to find himself unable to even leave a single wound on his opponent. And it was at this moment that Zhong Yue finally made his move.

  A 10,000 mile long river suddenly flew up into the sky, Zhong Yue clenched it by one hand and whipped it softly. Immediately, his Daos were infused into the 10,000 miles long river.

  The sounds of crackling fire rang out as the waters turned into the totem patterns while shrinking into the size of a thin whip. It was then lashed right at Zhu Xie mercilessly.

  Zhu Xie spun like a spinning top and flew backward, crashing into a star. The whip followed closely behind like a dragon’s head and has ferociously rammed into Zhu Xie, pushing him into the star body.

  The dragon whip slithered rapidly, pressing on Zhu Xie’s body as it pushed into deeper and deeper into the star. At the same time, the dragon’s body was actively mustering its strength and rammed out at Zhu Xie. Deep muffled sounds could be heard incessantly from within the star, deeper, and deeper!

  Soon, the dragon disappeared into the depths of the star!

  “Six Paths As One!”

  Outside of the Heavenly Deity Altar, the gods were shocked. Ti Mobei even exclaimed in shock, “His Six Paths As One, wasn’t it a saber? How did it became a whip?”

  The combination of the Six Paths could form embryonic monarch weapons. When the gods coalesced their Six Paths into one, their respective monarch weapons would also manifest. The monarch weapons were immensely strong and powerful, but to be able to form one kind of embryonic monarch weapon was already a huge success.

  During the battle with Ti Mobei, Zhong Yue had already cast out his embryonic monarch weapon, and it was an innate divine saber.

  And yet, he was now casting out another kind, a whip shaped like a dragon!

  All within the Heavenly Deity Altar were creations of the Dao totem patterns, including the moon and sun, mountains and rivers, clouds and winds, and everything else. The river Zhong Yue held in was also formed from the Dao totem patterns, with the addition of his own Daos, he was able to fo
rge it into a divine weapon rightaway on the spot.

  Thus, with the Dao totem patterns’s powers of the river itself and combined with Zhong Yue’s, it was only natural that he was able to pull out such a terrifyingly strong strike that even wounded Zhu Xie!

  In the Heavenly Deity Altar, Zhong Yue finally moved. The tip of his feet touched on the ground and the mountain beneath him rose above the ground. He then held it in his hand.

  He wielded it like a spear, his Daos surged into the mountain and the mountain’s surface was converted into dragon scales across covering the mountain body.

  In just moments, the mountain has turned into a dragon scale spear. Zhong Yue clenched on the spear and thrust it into the deep hole on the star. His legs, waist, chest, arms, wrist, and hands all moved together, channeling great strength into the spear as it pierced right through the star!

  Zhu Xie was seen flying out from the star on the tip of the spear. Then, the spear was swung around, piercing him through the chest. Right away, Zhong Yue punched heavily on the end of the spear and the spear pressed on Zhu Xie again, sending him crashing into a second star!

  Zhong Yue slammed his hand on the spear butt again and the spear was thrust deeper into the star while a series of ear-screeching groan could be heard coming from the inside of the star.

  The spear ended fully inside of the star, but a suction force was suddenly felt, it was as if there was a monster sucking and devouring the spear inside of the star.

  Zhong Yue was placid still, his body enlarged enormously and pressed his hands down on the surface of the star. And he carried it up with his hands!

  Inside of the star was shuddering nonstop, the star that was as big as the moon was squeezed out of shape in his hands. The Dao totem patterns that formed the star was forced shifted from soils and sands back into the totem patterns. Their alignments were then changed and the star was converted into a huge bell!

  Through the translucent bell’s surface, one could still vaguely see Zhu Xie’s half-celestial, half-demon form squatting in the center of the bell. His mouth was wide opened and was consuming the end of the dragon scale spear.

  In Zhong Yue’s arms, the bell shuddered heavily. A loud din was released from it that rang through the world. The totem patterns on the bell surface were glowing and flowing, countless sonic waves were all crashing down right on Zhu Xie, drowning him within it!

  Zhu Xie was at the center of the bell, the center of impact of the soundwaves of the whole bell. One could easily imagine what he was currently enduring.

  All of a sudden, the bone spikes on Zhu Xie’s back grew out crazily. Eventually, the huge spikes pierced through the bell. Zhong Yue quickly let go of his hands and the bell shattered into pieces.

  From inside, a half-celestial, half-demon creature leaped out, lunging forward like a flash of lightning!

  A pair of meat wings emerged on Zhong Yue’s back. When it was spanned out, the space cracked, and Zhong Yue abruptly disappeared!

  “Trying to run?”

  Zhu Xie roared, he rammed into the broken space while shouting, “Let’s see if you can!”

  Krong!

  Faraway, an enormous quake could be felt pulsing across the whole world. In the midst of the endless mountains, two silhouettes were seen flashing by. One of them had a pair of meat wings, when the wing quivered, countless saber rays lashed out and the mountains around were sliced into bits like tofu!

  In between the saber rays, the bone spikes turned soft and wobbly as they maneuvered around, avoiding the saber rays and trying to strike at the source instead.

  Loud rumbles could be heard and the broken pieces of mountains flew out together, the totem patterns in them were changed and they turned into a huge stamp. The stamp was pushed down heavily, slamming Zhu Xie down in the ground!

  But the stamp was quick to be shattered by the bone spikes. Zhu Xie burst up to the sky and with two quick lashes, the two disappeared again.

  Further away, just right above the middle of the ocean, the two of them reappeared and dove into the waters. They were still engaged in battle, and the exchange of strikes in the ocean gave rise to an enormous tsunami with raging tides that swept across the surroundings.

  All of a sudden, the raging tides stopped in mid-air. Zhong Yue’s meat wings were retracted, but a new pair of wings spread out. But this pair of wings had the power to stop even time!

  Zhu Xie was caught in surprise, he too was stopped by time.

  The Wings of Time!

  The new pair of wings was no other than the Wings of Time formed from his Time Dao. At the first moment the wings were spanned out, time was stopped. Although time was just stopped for just a split second, it appeared to be as long as a thousand years to Zhu Xie!

  It was just a split second yet a thousand years of life had been reaped off from his body by the Wings of Time. When Zhu Xie finally regained control over himself, the ocean was already refined by Zhong Yue and was his to command. The whole ocean was condensed into a trident and was pierced through Zhu Xie’s throat, pinning him deep in the ground!

  Deep beneath, the earth quaked. Bone spikes pierced through the ground and Zhong Yue’s Wings of Time, Zhong Yue was caught and was hung high up in midair.

  In the underground, Zhu Xie’s said with a deep and low voice, “As an innate god, no matter how times change, how it brings away the lives of the many talents, I will stand and live eternally! Your Wings of Time is a killing blow to the postnate creatures. But to me, it’s no use at all! It’s time you see the powers of the [Evil Tome]!”

  Zhong Yue’s Wings of Time were dispersed and he was freed from the bone spikes. All of a sudden, the earth quaked open and the huge spikes turned into many legs, helping Zhu Xie up above the sky.

  Suddenly, the evil aura brewed so intensely that it formed a Secular World, engulfing Zhong Yue within it.

  Chapter 959: A Shout of Dao, The Shocked Crowd |

  In this Secular World, Zhong Yue was struck with a bout of dizziness and could clearly feel the incoming danger. Not only that, but the Daos in his body were suddenly messed up. There was also a strong sense of sadness and sorrow that consumed his heart. His mind was troubled, his thoughts went haywire, his Yuan Shen slumbered, his life essence draining, and all kinds of negative effects were coming in.

  His eyes were twisted, his mouth uncontrollably opened, his pupils rolling unnaturally and his vision became unfocused.

  His skills were no longer had their usual magnificence; his body turned heavier and heavier. It was as if his mortal body and Yuan Shen were both infected by serious plagues or diseases. Unbearable pain and agony consumed him, he could even sense his mortal body slowly dying!

  He was feeling the bitterness in him, his Dao heart was on the verge of collapsing, he couldn’t even raise a single thought of resisting imminent death!

  At this instant, he had sunk into the horrible truth of aging, waning, and dying. His Yuan Shen, mortal body, psyche, Daos, and even skills were all receding. Even his luck and fortune!

  He had seen the death gods, their mortal bodies aging, their Daos waning, their essences draining; it was similar to him now, even more, the process he was going through was far faster than them!

  The evil spirits included the Plague Spirit, War Spirit, Death Spirit, Poor, Pain, Sadness, Sorrow, Agony, Ugliness, Unfortunate, Disaster, and more.

  When these spirits fell into the bodies of the postnate living beings, they would become the innate spirit bodies like the Innate Curse Spirit Body, War Spirit Body, Plague Spirit Body, Death Spirit Body, and many more.

  And the source and origin of these spirits, was the Innate Evil Monarch!

  The Innate Evil Monarch created the [Evil Tome] and gathered all of the evil spirits’ powers, including all into it. All of it, the five signs of death, pain, agony, death, plague, unfortunes, everything!

  What was happening now was one of the [Evil Tome]’s uses.

  Innate Evil Monarch once used the [Evil Tome] and brought the whole universe to the verge of death, even a few monarchs were killed and eaten by him!

  Throughout the history of time, his evil had left a deep mark. There was even a period of time, he was known as the Heavenly Monarchs’ nemesis during their dying days!

  There was no one he wouldn’t kill and eat, he would reap the luck and fortunes of the living beings, including that of the Heavenly Monarchs. His malice was capable of scaring even the mightiest warriors. Back then, he even forced the strongest presence in the old days to chase him around the universe, trying to kill him!

  And now, Zhong Yue finally had a firsthand taste of the [Evil Tome]. He was in this strange Secular World. Although he knew Zhu Xie was near, although he knew he would die at anytime now and be eaten by Zhu Xie, he couldn’t see Zhu Xie’s whereabouts, he couldn’t hear Zhu Xie’s voice, he had no sense of smell, hearings, taste… nothing.

  He could only lash his skills out at all directions, casting his strongest skills to prevent Zhu Xie from coming close!

  But strangely enough, the skills that were lashed out were simply unpredictable. Sometimes, the skills were incredibly weak and sometimes, they were incredibly strong. And the skills that were incredibly strong would oftentimes somehow get reflected back to him instead.

  Zhong Yue spurted out a mouthful of blood, his eyes dimmed with no focus. He looked around but Zhu Xie was still nowhere to be found. His skills were also just lashed out randomly around the place, some even acted on himself.

  But he still couldn’t use his strongest skill yet, he still didn’t dare to let his guard down; else, it’d be his death.

  Blood was all over his body, but Zhu Xie was still missing. The wounds on him were all from his own skills.

  It was such a bizarre scene to watch. In truth, Zhu Xie was just there, stood unmovingly as he watched Zhong Yue harm himself!
