Collin motioned for Jake to come over and sit on the end of the table as Gracie straightened for a moment. His cock jutted up from his groin. It only took a moment for her to brace her hands on either side of his muscular thighs. Then she was swooping down with an eager mouth, sliding inch by inch until she had Jake’s cock to the back of her throat.

Though he wasn’t at the best angle to watch, he knew she had all of his brother’s cock in her mouth just by the expression on Jake’s face. If he could have laughed he would have. Jake looked like he had just won the lottery.

Hadn’t they all. Collin handed over a small bottle of lube. He squeezed some out on his fingers, and then dribbled some down the crease between twin mounds of firm white flesh. Spreading them apart, he admired the pretty pink rosette of her asshole. Rimming it with his finger, he watched as it pulsed then winked at him as he worked in the lubricant. He grinned as he pushed the tip of his thumb into it, pushing gently through the ring of tight muscles, even as the eager Gracie pushed back.

A scream at the other end of the table distracted Mick for a moment. He looked up to see Cherry in the throes of a passionate release, her body arching off the table, her hands nearly ripping Cody’s hair out of his head as he found his own release inside her throbbing pussy. He chuckled and returned his attention to Gracie, who had impaled herself on his thumb. He worked it in and out of her, pressing and pulling, until he could feel the muscles relax. When they did he slid in his other thumb into her silky heat, working the muscles, stretching them until he had her dark channel open and welcoming him. With his cock now upright and jerking in anticipation he guided the swollen purple head to the twitching opening of her asshole. The next moment he was sinking into it, pressing forward until he was buried balls deep. They slapped against her soaked pussy as he began fucking her with a vigor he knew she would appreciate.

And appreciate it she did, if the moans coming from Gracie were anything to judge by. Mick held one hip with his hand, stroking her back and ass with the other as he fucked her senseless. Jake was the direct recipient of all rewards stemming from the pleasure she was experiencing. She was bobbing her head up and down on Jake’s cock, sucking and slurping until he was falling back on his arms, his head lolling back as if he were completely lost in the onslaught of sensations centered at his groin. When she pulled off his cock without warning to suck and lick his balls, Mick knew both he and his brother were goners. With every thrust her face was pushed between Jake’s thighs and into his taut balls. Just as he began to moan, grasping the base of his cock, she returned her attention to it, catching the silky ropes of cum in her mouth. Mick shouted his release, pumping hard in her ass as his balls threatened to bury themselves forever in his body. As the fire swept over him he pressed his cock in deep, leaving it resting there as she came, her asshole clenching around the base until he was milked dry.

Moving away weakly, Mick removed the condom and tied it off before tossing it into the trash. Jake steadied Gracie before pulling her close between his legs, her cheek resting against his uninjured shoulder.

“How are you feeling, princess?” he asked, stroking her sleek black hair.

  “Perfect.”

Mick went over to the pair, bending down to press a kiss to her sweet mouth. Then he was looking toward the other trio. Collin was seated on the table as Jake was, Cherry sucking his cock with enthusiasm as Cody fucked her ass. It was a wonderfully erotic sight, one he knew he would never get tired of. He enjoyed seeing their woman giving and receiving pleasure.

Hopefully their sex life would be a long and happy one. Right now he knew they were still making up for the lack of sex. Going over three years without a woman had been difficult. Not just any woman would fill the bill. They had wanted their woman in the worst possible way. Giving her the time she needed to get to a place where she would realize she still needed them had been the hardest thing they had done in their lives.

Though he suspected they were unusually horny because of their long abstinence, he also knew that they would always want their two gorgeous, sexy women. How lucky could four men get?

Cody’s cock throbbed inside Cherry’s clinging dark channel. It pulled at his cock, sucking him back in thrust after thrust. The dark, sensual pleasure was something he didn’t know if he could get enough of. His cock exploded in her ass without warning, pulling an agonized moan from him. White light flashed behind his eyelids as his balls tightened so much they felt as if they were being squeezed in a vise. He gasped, sweat dripping off his brow, as he collapsed weakly over her slender back.

After so many years of not having sex with anything other than his hand, having sex with their women, the loves of their lives, was incredible. Sometimes he just couldn’t believe Cherry was here with them, participating in things they had only talked about.

Being true to Cherry hadn’t been difficult. No other woman had tempted them. When they had talked about having sex, Cherry was the only woman they had discussed as their female partner. Oh, the waiting had been hard, but not because they had been horny as hell. No, the waiting had been difficult because they wanted her with them. She was a part of their hearts and souls. The moment they had first spoken on the phone they had all been lost.

And then there was Gracie, so darn innocent in some ways. Then there was the other side of the woman, which he would have to describe as a carnal enthusiast. She loved sex with them and wasn’t afraid to show it. Or make demands or suggestions which made their cocks jump to life. She and Cherry were well suited to be their wives, their partners, their loves.

Cody grimaced when his softened cock began slipping from the grip of Cherry’s asshole. Grabbing the base of the condom, he pulled free then went to dispose of it just as Collin announced his own release with a hoarse shout of pleasure.

As the lovers wandered out and back to their respective bedrooms Cody stayed behind long enough to clean up. Glancing at the clock he saw it was just after midnight. Their fathers would expect them up and out of the house by five. Grimacing, he finished in the kitchen before turning off the light and going to find a bed to sleep in. He chose Cherry’s room. Mick was there alone with her. He climbed into bed with them, sliding an arm over her waist. She wiggled and leaned forward to kiss him softly as her hand caressed the side of his face.

Sighing with pleasure, Cody fell asleep before she had even taken her hand away.

Cody frowned as he sniffed the air. He and his brothers had just left the house. Their mothers had made coffee for them, an early morning ritual they all enjoyed. Mick had teased their dads as he always did that the coffee was just an excuse for old men to get moving in the morning. Daddy Matt had scowled, while his younger brothers and partners had just chuckled and nodded in agreement.

Now they had split up, Mick, Collin, and Jake going to saddle the horses while their dads loaded the wagon with fencing and posts. A pair of mules would haul the wagon. They could go places along the fence line that their truck couldn’t go as easily. Besides, in good weather their fathers found it just plain fun to use and show off their prize mules’ skills. On the way back they would clean up along the fence line, picking up old wood and stones of various sizes for their mothers’ ongoing landscaping projects.

Walking down the length of the barn, he followed the scent of gasoline. It was out of place. No gasoline was stored in or near any of the barns. Neither was any equipment which used it. What he found in the dim morning light was horrifying. Someone had tried to set the barn on fire. Why they hadn’t succeeded was a mystery. But it was obvious that the person had thrown gas over the side of the barn. There was a scorch mark from the ground up, covering about a twelve-foot-square area. When the first wave of shock diminished he noticed something else. There was residue of a fire suppressor. Glancing around him, he saw a large canister lying in the grass several feet away. He left it there, knowing he shouldn’t disturb the scene any more than necessary.

  Now
why would someone light a fire, only to put it out again? They were sending a message, he thought grimly, telling them that no one and nothing was safe. It was a chilling thought.

What the fuck? Who could possibly hate them so much? Cody couldn’t remember having an enemy his whole life. And he knew it was the same for his parents.

Pulling his phone out, he did something he didn’t want to do. He called Gray Evans then his dads. This was going to make their day suck and he hated to do it.

Cody wasn’t surprised when he saw one of their trucks coming up the lane a few minutes later. It was Cherry and Gracie. As they drove around toward the house he realized something else. He hadn’t seen Coco and Brownie that morning. They were usually right there to greet them and it was strange that neither he nor his brothers had noticed the two missing dogs. As he went to search for them, knowing they were likely dead, he knew the family would be heartbroken. The pair of border collies had been around for a long time. Not only were they working dogs, they were loyal companions.

When he saw the prone bodies of the dogs in tall grass, about a hundred feet apart, he felt his stomach clench. Then he saw the red tails of the darts and it gave him hope that they hadn’t been given something lethal. When Brownie didn’t move but lay there with his eye staring up at Cody, he squatted down to place his hand on the dog. The animal didn’t move anything but an eyelid, and the tip of his tail flickered. Cody pulled his handkerchief from his pocket before he gently removed the dart from the dog’s shoulder. He patted the animal before going to see if Coco, the oldest of the pair, had fared as well. Unfortunately he hadn’t survived the attack, his body still soft but cool to the touch. The poor old fella’s heart probably hadn’t been able to take the muscle-relaxing drug, he guessed grimly, his eyes burning as he swallowed the lump in his throat.

Leaving the dog’s body behind, Cody went back for Brownie. He lifted him gently into his arms, relieved when the dog’s legs and tail moved.

“It’ll be okay, boy. We’ll get you taken care of. I bet someone can find a bone for you.”

The next few hours seemed to drag out. The sheriff came, took photos, and gathered evidence, then left. Then the arson investigator did the same. Cherry talked with both men at length and Cody guessed that she missed working as a police officer. Knowing how much she had loved her job and had intended to continue to work for the sheriff’s department three years ago when she moved to Silver, he wondered if she wasn’t considering doing so again.

It would take work to get physically fit enough to meet the demands of the job, but he could see her doing it. In just the past couple of weeks since she had been in Silver she had improved significantly, even gaining most of her weight back. They all saw it. Each and every day she moved with less hesitancy and more strength. The limp she’d had was all but gone. She was even a willing participant in chasing and being chased through the house, with little or no pain resulting from her doing so.

Yes, Cody could see her going back into law enforcement. And he would support her, as would his brothers. Though they didn’t want their women to work, more from the standpoint of wanting to coddle them and treat them like queens, and not from some bygone belief that women belonged in the home, he knew the choice was up to Cherry. Whatever she decided he would be all for it. They all would.

Since ranching life didn’t begin and end on the whims of a psycho, they rode out after they buried Coco in one of their moms’ many flowerbeds, within a rockscape shaded by a weird, low-growing conifer. It had been the dog’s favorite spot to take a break on a hot day. It was the perfect place to let him rest now.

While the men had tended to treat the dogs like the working animals they were, though occasionally throwing a ball for them or giving them a good scratch, the women had spoiled them endlessly with treats, toys, and fancy dog beds in the garage where they came and went freely.

Cody felt bad to see his moms so upset. Cherry and Gracie were there to make them tea and hold hands as the two women wept. Gracie, however, was crying nearly as much as they were and he wondered how she was going to deal with having her own pet.

Shaking his head, he rode ahead of the wagon being pulled by the mules. Daddy Ron was on the bench seat, grinning like a fool. Daddy Matt and Daddy Joe were each riding tall, big-boned jacks. The men did love their mules and had more than twenty of them now. Though they were likely smarter than horses, which were actually smarter than most people gave them credit for, they were often more cantankerous. No, while he admired the beasts, he preferred horses.

  Chapter Thirteen

The days flew by without another incident as they tried to go about their lives with as much normalcy as was possible, given the fact that some unknown person was trying their best to fill them with fear. Why was anyone’s guess. And who was the target was another. It didn’t seem to be focused on any one person in particular. If it had, it would have given the sheriff a direction in which to focus. As it was he claimed he felt like he and his deputies were chasing their tails. They were getting absolutely nowhere.

By the end of the second week following the fire they did get a visitor who cheered them with what he brought with him. Cherry laughed as Gracie trembled with excitement as her friend David James got out of a shiny silver pickup truck and walked around the back to open the side door of the crew cab. A huge black German shepherd leapt out, but didn’t go more than a few feet from David. He examined the strangers with intelligent brown eyes, his tongue lolling out as he sat and waited.

It was a happy, relaxed moment for them all. Even the brothers’ parents had come down to see the newest members of the family. By the time David reached into the truck to pull out a ball of black fur, big paws, and floppy ears, Gracie was bouncing excitedly.

They had made one special trip into town to the pet supply store at the mall, all but filling the back of the SUV with every kind of dog care item available. There was everything from shampoos, brushes, chew toys, to beds so both dogs would be comfortable. Though she didn’t like it, they had also purchased crates for the dogs to be kept in when it was absolutely necessary, especially a puppy which couldn’t be left unsupervised until he was older and wiser to rules. And he didn’t have the need to chew everything in sight while he was in the teething stage of his life.

“Take a breath, baby,” Mick teased Gracie.

Jake laughed, eyeing her closely. “Maybe she should take a potty break. She looks like she’s about to pee herself.”

Gracie punched him lightly in the arm before turning back to watch as her new puppy trotted obediently beside the tall man. They stopped in front of her, the puppy dropping down onto its haunches with little style or grace. The bitch puppy looked up at Gracie with big brown eyes, her pink tongue lolling comically out the side of her mouth. When she barked at her once in greeting they all knew they had some competition for their love’s affection.

“I take it you’re Gracie,” David said with a friendly smile.

“Yes. And you’re David, Cherry’s friend.” She had managed to lift her gaze from the puppy.

Cherry smiled at David as she stepped forward to hug him. “Good to see you.”

“You, too, sweetheart. It’s been a while. Let me introduce these two properly, and then we can all get to know each other.”

It didn’t take long for the introduction to be made. David handed over the puppy’s leash and told Gracie to go play with only a few basic instructions, such as to distract the puppy with a ball if she tried to bite or gnaw at her. He also suggested she give her a name.

Once she was off across the backyard with her new puppy, David introduced the rest of them to Max. “There’s not much this dog can’t do. He’s been trained in Schutzhund. Cherry, I know you’re familiar with handling these dogs, but I’ll go over a few things with you. You’ve never met Max, but he has an excellent temperament. He’s spent a lot of time with my kids, so I know he’ll make a great family dog.”

Cherry and the others listened as David
explained Max’s training and what could and couldn’t be expected of the dog. He was introduced to everyone and she was pleased to note he did have a very friendly nature. Friendly to family he was introduced to. Others would be placed into categories by the dog. Some he would warn and hold off. If someone became aggressive toward one of the family members he would become protective. Since he was trained very specifically, an attacker could expect a very unpleasant experience.

They all went to the patio to take refreshments when David excused himself to go back to the truck. When he returned he had a small ball of fur in his hands, which now explained why he had left his truck running. He handed it over to Lois and Sylvia. The two women began stroking and talking baby talk to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppy. She looked up at them with bright-brown eyes before jumping up to give kisses which earned her a hug and a rub to her soft pink tummy.

The women’s husbands groaned collectively, knowing they had just been dropped another link in the food chain.

David stayed two days to visit and to give lessons in handling Max and Lovey, Gracie’s newly named puppy. As they had hoped, the puppy bonded to their lover, though she liked everyone else. What was hardest for Gracie was when Lovey cried and howled about being left alone at night. David had blocked her way several times during the night as she tried to sneak through the dark house. When she would have gone to comfort her distressed puppy he told her she wasn’t doing the puppy any favors by doing so. Lovey had to learn to be left alone at times, otherwise she could develop more problems, such as an anxiety disorder. Learning that had done the trick. Gracie didn’t try to go to Lovey when she cried from her crate in the kitchen. To keep her from developing her own anxiety disorder, Cherry and the men did their best to distract her in the most wicked ways imaginable. They were quite successful. Satisfyingly so.
