“Trust me,” he said, pulling her into his arms and holding her close. “I love watching you when you’re dressed to kill. I’ll choose wisely.”

  “Baron, I’m not my mother.”

He frowned. “I don’t follow you. What does your mother have to do with this?”

“Every Dom to ever patronize Clink knew my mother and fathers. Most of them thought I was following in her footsteps and assumed I’d be the perfect catch, desperate to kneel next to them while they were enjoying happy hour drinks or perhaps dinner. You’ve been at the club when I’ve been approached. You know the propositions that were made just because of my last name.”

Baron was horny as fuck all over again. It was bad enough that he’d just recently made loved to her for the first time but the minute she mentioned Clink and kneeling, his dick was hard.

“A lot of assumptions were made based on what some of those Doms heard from the Joseph brothers. Your exes were pretty determined after they divorced their wives. When you turned them down flat, the rumors were flying and a lot of good stories circulated then, too.”

“Ask me if I care about gossip.”

“Just know that the men who were interested in seeing you on your knees probably weren’t thinking about Vicky McKay. Just like me now. When I choose what you’ll wear to the show tonight, I’ll only be thinking about you and what I’d like to rip away from your body at the end of the evening.”

“Do you want to fuck me now?”

He might have denied her then if she hadn’t asked in such a sultry tone. Perhaps if she’d chosen different words, he could’ve said no. Instead, he found himself rummaging around the top and bottom drawers, frantic for another rubber.

His fingers danced at her opening as he looked through one drawer and then the next. Fumbling with the packet, he cursed his lack of control then. Spenser and Mark were outside dealing with the press. He was supposed to be watching out for her. Then again, what better way to protect her than to sink between those soft thighs and just fuck the daylights out of her?

Patience took the condom from his hand. She pumped his cock slow and easy before rolling the rubber over his shaft. Soon, the squishy sound of squirting lube filled the small room and she slipped her hand down his cock, oiling his member and making him ready for her.

“How do you want me?” she asked, staring down.

He glanced up then and noticed the mirror. Kissing her neck and ear, he whispered, “That vibrator in the purple bag. Is it yours?”

“Of course it belongs to me,” she replied, grinning.

“I want you to bend down and get it,” he said, rubbing his hands over her hips and ass as soon as she went for the drawer.

Untying the knot at the top of the toy bag, she retrieved the vibrator and handed it off to him. He turned on the low power and rubbed the jiggling shaft over the swell over her breasts, excited when that undeniable lust took hold and she reached behind her lower back and pumped him.

“Lean forward,” he said, dragging the vibrator down her belly and mashing it against her mound. “Take it.”

She cupped his hands and removed the toy from his grip. “You want me to use it, Sir?”

His cock stood straight up then and he couldn’t think of anything he wanted more, except maybe to watch and participate at the same time. “Scoot back here.” His voice was demanding and rough. He clutched her hips and spread her, aiming his cock at the little rosette puckering between her cheeks.

“That’s my good girl,” he crooned. “Now screw yourself with the vibrator. Let me watch, sub.”

Her lips twitched and she blushed. “Baron.”

  “Does that excite you?”

  “Yes, Sir.”

“Then fuck yourself with it,” he said, dragging his dick around her tight hole.

He gripped her tit and thumbed her nipple, rubbing the pads of his fingers over the aroused point before pulling her body back to meet his. At the same time he entered her, she thrust the vibrator inside her pussy.

“God yeah,” he rasped, enjoying the electrifying current he could feel resonating through her body.

He held her hips then, sinking inside her with short and fast beats. “That’s it, lover. Fuck that tight pussy for me.”

“God, Baron. Stop.” She bowed her head and her hair flung in front of her face.

He held perfectly still. “Do you need to use your safeword?”

“That’s not it.” Her ragged breaths fell out in quick spurts. “I can’t take it.” She withdrew the vibrator and he pulled out a bit.

“What can’t you take?” He nipped at her shoulder. “Tell me.”

She moaned then and closed her eyes. He studied her in the mirror, loving the image they portrayed, realizing Mark and Spenser would be horny as hell if they walked in and saw them like this.

“Damn, you’re beautiful.” He kissed her back, running his tongue along her spine. “Does this feel good, sub?” He rolled his hips forward and thrust his cock inside her back passage.

“It all feels good. I just can’t take you talking dirty to me. I want to come. I need to… I can’t wait until you give me permission.”

“Then you have my permission. As soon as I tell you to come, you can come.” He would make it his mission to turn her on, first.

She screwed the vibrator inside her pussy and thrust it in and out a couple of times. The tingling sensation at his balls was enough to motivate him into an outlandish fuck. His thighs and balls tightened. His cock jutted forward and he thrust inside her without any level of mercy.

“That’s it, baby. Show me how you like to take my cock up the ass.” He bit his lip and swung her body forward, plowing inside her as she gripped the vanity and tried to keep her balance.

Her cheeks were flushed. Her breasts were heavy. Those pretty nipples were as hard as stones. He dragged his finger over one of them and she clenched. Her hole tightened around his shaft and he pounded her sweet ass.

Aware of the heavy footsteps in the hallway then, Baron took hold of her elbow and jerked her arm up and down, forcing her to match his rhythm and follow his beat. And right when he assumed she was ready to blow and the McCoy brothers were steps away from finding them, he smacked the ever-loving hell out of her ass.

Her eyes met his and her mouth fell open. “Again, Sir. Please. Spank me again.”

“Are you a naughty girl, vixen?”

“You have no idea,” she crooned, her hand going to town with that vibrator working for both of them then.

The vibrations zipped through his balls and shot through his shaft. Her hole twitched, sucking at his tip as he pulled away and sank right back in.

“Good girl,” he whispered, smacking her bottom once more. “That’s my little lady. Fuck me wild, sub. Get wet with me.”

Her hand stilled and her eyes rolled back. Her body jerked once before she applied a full-throttled effort.

“Fuck that slick pussy for me. That’s it.” He mashed his hand against the small of her back. “All right, sweet sub. Come for me. Let me hear you scream my name.”

Her hand stilled again and he whispered at her ear. “I didn’t say you could stop fucking yourself.”

Baron was a moment away from blowing and he wanted the vibrator jiggling inside of Patience while working for him. “That’s it, baby. Mmmm. Yes. Come for me.”

“Baron!” Her hand was likely tired but she kept the toy moving as her hole squeezed and released a number of times.

“Fuck me,” he whispered, his own release shooting through his tip and his body rocking out the undeniable finish.

The sliding door next to them was jerked open and Mark released a guttural groan. “Damn shame I wasn’t here for the start.”

“Don’t complain,” Spenser said. “The finish was sexy as fucking hell.”

  Chapter Ten

“….Clink bartenders Kellan Andrews and Reason Richards were unavailable for comment today. Sources close to the club’s owners have said the Cart
well and McKay families are unlikely to confirm or deny rumors surrounding the shootout at one of the South’s most highly regarded fetish clubs.”

“Isn’t that an oxymoron?” Tristan Voorhees asked, sweeping up glass.

“You mean highly regarded and fetish club?” Ansley gave Tristan a heated look. “Depends on who you ask.”

“Please remember your godfathers are present.” Joshua never cracked a smile. He’d been ill as hell since Clink had been nearly demolished. All the front glass, some furniture, most of the light fixtures, and much of the top-shelf liquor would need to be replaced. Insurance would cover most of it, but he hated his decisions had landed on Clink’s doorstep. Then again, he couldn’t shoulder all the blame. Kane had dragged the McKays and his entire family into a real mess all because he had this need, one Joshua understood, to protect his dead cousin’s daughters.

“No worries.” Ansley cocked her head and winked. “I’m on my way out.”

“Good,” he grumbled. “Women shouldn’t be here right now.”

She rolled her eyes and kissed Tristan’s cheek. “Call me if you need anything. I’ll be at Trixie’s babysitting.”

At the mention, Joshua stiffened. Kane should’ve thought of his own daughters and grandchildren before he stepped into the middle of a mob conflict. Patrick had been fit to be tied when he and Aspen had offered their help. Looking back, they should’ve told Kane “no” and stood by their decision. Now, their families were in the middle of a damn war, not a battle where there were a few wins here or there, but a war destined for one victorious win by a lone side. There would be bodies to count before this was over.

Kellan and Reason appeared then with dustpans, brooms, and boxes of garbage bags. Outside, two of the new hires, Stellan and Sterling Taylor, backed up their pick-up trucks to the front doors.

“Got to hand it to this crew, they didn’t waste time rolling up their sleeves and getting busy.” Aspen glanced around the area. “By midnight, they’ll have the worst of this mess hauled out of here.”

“Let’s hope so,” Joshua said, worried sick. Patience would come home the minute she heard the news. He hadn’t thought to tell Mark to keep the attack under wraps but Mark was probably smart enough or perhaps busy enough to sit on the information until morning.

“I told Vicky not to call Patience and upset her,” Aspen said.

“Yeah, I heard,” Joshua muttered. “But I don’t think your warning is the one she’s heeding. Patrick promised all sorts of punishment if she mentioned one word to Patience.”

“She minds me, too, you know.” Aspen frowned. “I swear sometimes it’s hell being the younger brother. I’m approaching forty-eight and you still treat me like I’m eighteen and the kid brother.”

“Ain’t that sweet?” Kane approached with a long gait. “All the brotherly love around here just brings tears to my eyes.”

“It’s ‘bout time you showed up here,” Kellan said. For whatever reason, he seemed to enjoy harassing Kane and Joshua. He probably thought of himself as their equal.

Joshua balked at that. Kellan had a long way to go to stand up next to a Cartwell or McKay.

“All right, McKays and company.” Kane motioned for the new bartenders and Tristan. “We need to put a game plan together.”

Everyone gathered around and Kane pulled up a chair. “First up, let’s discuss Nory. She has a bodyguard now. She’s not happy about it.”

“Who’d you hire?” Kellan looked offended.

“I know you thought you were the better choice,” Kane said, meeting any possible objections head-on. “Fact is, you and Reason are needed here. Plus, I think you’ll all agree Madden Nichols is a better choice.”

“Why would we agree there?” Reason asked.

“For starters, he substitutes at the high school,” Kane replied. “Madden knows everyone who works there and can easily spot someone who doesn’t belong. More importantly, when Nory is here, she’ll want the two who protected her—Reason and Kellan—here with her.”

“You mean you’re still going to let her hang out here after school?” Joshua couldn’t believe his ears. Had Kane gone mad?

“Braden and Evan talked to Nory. We were against her stopping by here after school but she made a good point. Her father’s enemies lost a man here. They also shot the place up, so it would stand to reason they won’t look for her here. They’ll probably assume we wouldn’t let her come back because it’s too dangerous.”

“Sounds like the mobster’s daughter was doing the talking there,” Joshua said.

“Manipulated by the little con artist,” Reason said. “Kane, I don’t like it. She’s not my daughter or kid sister or cousin so ultimately this isn’t my business, but the last threat I heard from the dead guy was that they’d be back and when they came back, they would expect us to hand her over.”

“And you won’t, which is why we trust you and Kellan to keep her safe. You kept her safe once. You will again, if it comes to that.”

“Oh my God,” Kellan muttered. “You’re using her as bait.”

Reason swung his gaze at Kane and if looks could’ve killed, Kane wouldn’t have stood a chance. “Tell me that’s not what’s going on here.”

Joshua snarled. “Wait a minute. Kellan is right?” He pushed away from the table and paced. “Surely you aren’t using an eighteen-year-old girl to summons killers!”

“Settle down, McKay,” Kane said, staring at Kellan. “You’ve got a nose for this stuff. Don’t you?”

“Ya might say I had an old man who was a lot like you, Cartwell.” Kellan crossed his arms. “This is a bad idea.”

“It’s the only way we can send a message back to New York.”

“And then what, Cartwell?” Kellan looked disgusted. “The boss sends in a crew for round two and they meet up with the likes of you? After that, how do you see this playing out?”

“How do you?” Kane swung his arm over the back of the chair. “Obviously you’ve had some experience in this capacity.”

Joshua and Aspen swapped glances. They’d already discussed that very possibility. Clink’s new hires had been told they couldn’t carry weapons and yet Kellan had shot and killed one of the perpetrators. Now, he spoke with an authoritative edge to his voice.

“I see the mob unleashing hell on those who are standing in their way. You’re protecting Nory and I think I speak for all of us when I say we’re glad to help you do that, but you have to look at how the mob likely views this.”

“And how would the ‘mob’ view us, exactly?” Aspen asked, seemingly interested in what Kellan had to say.

“I think they’ll view it as an act worthy of severe punishment. You aren’t just protecting Nory. You’re protecting the very person Alberto Baldini supposedly loves most and that means you’re harboring the enemy’s daughter and keeping a powerful man from exerting appropriate revenge.”

Kane slowly nodded, but he didn’t say much more. A few minutes later, everyone had returned to the task of sweeping up broken glass and repairing damages. Kane turned to Joshua and Aspen and said, “We need to run another background check on Kellan Andrews.”

“Already handled,” Joshua said, studying Aspen. “Did you get everything back yet?”

“Everything? Try nothing. Guy doesn’t even have a hometown location or birth certificate.”

Joshua located Kellan on the other side of the club and observed. “Fella without a past is someone you have to watch in the future.”

“I told you that nonsense,” Kane said, shaking his head. “And I probably said that when I was in my twenties and thought I was ready to take on the world and kick some serious ass.”

“We did that back in the day,” Joshua reminded him, keeping an eye on Kellan.

Apparently intuitive, Kellan turned then and narrowed his gaze. As if he realized he was the topic of conversation, Kellan made his way to their table.

“Something on your mind, Mr. Andrews?” Kane asked.

  “Ap
parently there’s something on yours,” Kellan replied, his gaze hopping from one man to the next before resting on Aspen. “I know you ran a background check on me this afternoon.”

Joshua jerked. There were only a couple of ways to obtain that information. “Careful, son, you’re showing your hand right now.”

“Yes, I am,” Kellan said. “But I’m worried about Nory and trust you enough to keep this under wraps. You aren’t going to find anything in my past and my past shouldn’t concern you. What should concern you is this—I’ll fight for and protect Nory, but if you start poking around in my history again, you’ll leave me no other choice but to leave Fletcher. I can’t have you casting a light of suspicion on me when all I want is to stay here, bartend, and start a new life.”

“This may not be the best place for you if you’re running from someone.”

“That’s true,” he said, giving them nothing more. “But I know how to gauge when I’ve stayed somewhere too long.”

“We’ve dealt with men like you before,” Kane said, tilting his head at the bar and indicating Tristan. “We’re better allies than you might think.”

“That’s why I’m here,” Kellan said, walking away.

Kane blew out a hard breath. “What is it about guys with new identities? How come they always land in our backyards?”

“Maybe you had it right,” Joshua suggested. “We’re good allies. Perhaps those with the United States Marshals Service realize Fletcher is a good stop for those in the Witness Protection Program.”

“Something is going on,” Aspen said. “We sure get a lot of them.”

“Yep,” Kane agreed. “But Kellan isn’t in the program. I’m just not sure what he is.”

  * * * *

Baron took a quick shower and then joined Mark and Spenser in the living room. “Don’t sulk. You guys didn’t have time anyway. If it makes you feel any better, she might have thought of you once or twice.”

“We don’t have time for jabs,” Spenser said. “Peterson handed off the camera to Max and he split. We tried to catch him at the gate, but he slipped out somehow.”
